What is the meaning of the IETM?
Manual: Manual means any literature organized or written in a prescribed manner to guide the user.
TechnicalManual: This means the literature is technical, like user manuals, maintenance manuals etc. Hard copy

Use or Purpose of the IETM?
The purpose of the Manual is to give information related to the equipment to the end user for quick reference.
All the technicality is written in detail so that when an issue arises, the user can refer to the manual, as every time OEM or technical person or subject matter expert might not be available on the spot to resolve the issue.
If the manual has 10 pages users can refer easily.
But any system used by the defence will have multiple manuals and thousands of page counts and many times a user has to cross-refer between manuals, intra-manual and inter-manual to resolve the issue.
Referring to 10- 15 hard-copy or even soft-copy books simultaneously will be difficult and time-consuming.

How to access the IETM ?
IETM is a web-based application like our bank software or any other web application. The graphic user interface will be provided to use IETM through which users can interact and get the desired data.
Like all other standard software, Unauthorized users cannot access the IETM. IETM is a Login - login-based application. Only users having valid Login credentials can access the software.
Based on the user log credentials data will be provided to the user.
IETM has 2 types of Users and one Administrator
Maintainer
Operator
If the operator logs in, the user gets all the content related to operator use, similarly if the maintainer logs in only maintenance-related content is visible for that user.
Ideally, all the content is available for both users, because the purpose of the IETM is to refer to the manual to fix the issue.
Administrators can create users who can see the user’s navigation and log-in history and interact with the users using user dashboards through Annotations.

What Inputs are Needed? (From OEM to Create IETM)
All the softcopies of user manuals to be converted to IETM.
All images Videos, and drawings to be integrated into IETM.
Subject matter expert to resolve technical clarifications
Table of contents/tree structure.

Minimum Hardware Requirements?
NO High-end hardware or servers are required to run IETM.
However, if more concurrent users, then a good configuration server with good LAN connectivity must be ensured.
i3 with 8 GB RAM systems is the minimum configuration required for the server or for Node.

What are these Levels?
Level — 1 is any PDF file
Level — 2 is a PDF file with hyperlinks from the table of contents to the body etc.
Level — 3 is an HTML application. More hyperlinks, simple search, a content tree having log a screen with a hardcoded username and password and supplied in the format of EXE so that Windows can easily open
Level — 4 is Software plus Content/manuals converted as Database

Regarding Level — 5, rest assured, till 2028 it will be Level — 4 only. As of now, there is nothing practically called Level — 5. Few are calling virtual reality and Augmented reality and Artificial intelligence Level — 5.
Pulling data from many user inputs and analyzing and giving results are done in Level — 5. IETM software cannot pull the data from various real-time points as No OEM will give the real-time information to third-party software directly. Yes, if the information is available offline, then that information can be imported into IETM and can be used as a reference.

Donald Trump: Rebranding Globalism as Nationalism
Many assumed Trump’s remarks were only facetious. Or were they? Just two days later, at a press conference, Trump said he wanted to incorporate Greenland into the United States. Although this, too, was widely dismissed as absurd, Trump quickly underscored his seriousness by sending Donald Trump, Jr., on a trip to Greenland.
All this is being heralded to the President’s followers as part of his plan to “Make America Great Again.”
To the contrary, Trump’s ambition to expand America is nothing more than a repackaging of an old satanic plan to establish world government through regional stepping stones.
To research my first book The Shadows of Power (1988), a study of the globalist power brokers at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), I went through every issue of Foreign Affairs, the CFR’s flagship journal, going back to its first issue in 1922. There was no Internet then, no search engines. All facts had to be gleaned from hard-copy documents.
In going through Foreign Affairs, I recognized that the CFR had abandoned the idea of, in one swoop, unifying the planet under a world government. Instead, they reasoned, they could gradually bring about global governance by first organizing regional alliances. This would be a “stepping stone” approach (also known as “boiling the frog”) to the ultimate goal of an all-powerful one-world government.
For example, we read in the January 1926 issue of Foreign Affairs:
Locarno [a European collective security agreement] represents an attempt to arrive at the same end by stages,—by treaties and local regional pacts which are permeated with the spirit of the Geneva Protocol,—these to be constantly supplemented, until at last, within the framework of the League of Nations, they are absorbed by one great world convention guaranteeing world security and peace by the enforcing of the rule of law in inter-state life.1
Shortly after America joined NATO in 1949, Elmo Roper of the CFR issued a pamphlet entitled “The Goal is Government of All the World” in which he mused:
But the Atlantic Pact (NATO) need not be our last effort toward greater unity. It can be converted into one more sound and important step working toward world peace. It can be one of the most positive moves in the direction of One World.2
In his April 1964 article for Foreign Affairs, “The World Order in the Sixties,” Roberto Ducci wrote:
Pending the formation of such wider and more responsible political units, encouragement should be given to regional organizations, of the type recognized by the U.N. Charter. They should be strengthened so as to make them able to keep the peace in their respective areas: NATO in the North Atlantic and the Council of Europe in the European regions, O.A.S in the Americas, O.A.U. in Africa, SEATO in Southeast Asia.3
The European Union is probably the epitome of regional government. It was, by design, evolved out of the Common Market. Today, of course, it has its own diplomatic representatives, the European Parliament, and a common currency in the euro. Long before anyone heard the term “European Union,” French statesman and journalist Raymond Bourgine warned in the July 1968 issue of Spectacle Du Monde:
The Europe of Jean Monnet is the famous “Supranational Europe” to which member States will progressively surrender their attributes of national sovereignty. In the end their economies will be integrated by Administrators in Brussels while awaiting a European Assembly, elected by popular vote, which will turn itself into a legislative one and give birth to a new European political power. The national states will then wither away.4
Zbigniew Brzezinski laid the strategy on the line at Mikhail Gorbachev’s 1995 State of the World Forum: “We cannot leap into world government in one quick step. . . . The precondition for genuine globalization is progressive regionalization.”5
In 2005, President George W. Bush attempted to create a North American Union that would emulate the European Union, turning an economic partnership (NAFTA) into a political union, just as the EU had evolved out of an economic partnership (the Common Market).
Quoting my own 2013 book Truth Is a Lonely Warrior:
In 2004, the CFR’s Robert Pastor wrote in Foreign Affairs: “Security fears would serve as a catalyst for deeper integration. That would require new structures to assure mutual security…. The Department of Homeland Security should expand its mission to include continental security – a shift best achieved by incorporating Mexican and Canadian perspectives and personnel into its design and operation.”
Pastor is thus suggesting that security concerns warrant combining NAFTA’s economic partners – America, Canada and Mexico – into a continent-wide Homeland Security Department.
But it doesn’t stop there. On March 23, 2005, in Waco, Texas, President Bush met with Mexican President Vincente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin to discuss broadly integrating their three countries. The union is initially being called the “Security and Prosperity Partnership” or SPP. (In Establishment vocabulary, “security” has replaced “peace” in the phrase “peace and prosperity” because the public now perceives terrorism as more threatening than war.) Total convergence is ultimately planned: if fulfilled, our borders with Mexico and Canada would be eliminated, all citizens issued a North American ID card, and the dollar replaced by a continental currency (the “Amero”) – in short, we would copy the European Union. . . .
Can you guess where the SPP was dreamed up? As The New American reported in 2006:
“The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) serves as the intellectual incubator for most of the foreign policy direction followed by the executive branch of the federal government. Before the trilateral meeting between the heads of state in Waco on March 23 of last year, the CFR had already undertaken an initiative with its counterparts in Mexico and Canada (Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales and the Canadian Council of Chief Executives) to study the possibility of integrating the three nations. Laying the foundation for the Waco meeting, the CFR produced a document entitled Creating a North American Community: Chairmen’s Statement of the Independent Task Force on the Future of North America. The document called for “the creation by 2010 of a community to enhance security, prosperity, and opportunity for all North Americans.”
The only reason the North American Union has not progressed according to the Establishment’s timetable is that it has been so bitterly opposed by American patriots, including some members of Congress.6
One of those Congressmen, I should mention, was Ron Paul.
Donald Trump is now proposing a North American Union again, but to keep MAGA people in the dark, has re-branded it as nationalism instead of globalism.
I realize some will object: Bush’s union included Canada and Mexico, but Trump is only proposing Canada and Greenland. The reason should be obvious. Trump’s campaign underscored building a wall to shield us from the millions of immigrants flowing in from Mexico. A union with Mexico at this time would throw Trump supporters into cognitive dissonance on steroids.
Therefore, Greenland has simply replaced Mexico in the regionalization scheme. Greenland is actually larger (836,331 square miles) than Mexico (758,449), though its population is microscopic in comparison.
The melding of Greenland with America is not new, as shown by this map, based on the “Regionalized and Adaptive Model of the Global World System” report produced by the globalist Club of Rome in 1973. Note that the North American region included Canada and Greenland, but excluded Mexico.

It isn’t my intention to assert that America will really merge with Canada and Greenland, a complicated process that would face many barriers. However, it is important to understand that Trump’s ambition toward this goal is neither new nor patriotric, but an element of the age-old globalist agenda.

What is Serial Peripheral Interface - SPI?
SPI is a synchronous serial communication protocol that enables communication between microcontrollers, sensors, memory devices, and other peripheral devices. It allows for full-duplex communication, meaning data can be sent and received simultaneously.

The serial peripheral interface (SPI) is a communication interaction protocol used to send data between multiple IoT Devices. In SPI the master device begins communication, by sending action bits to the slave devices. In SPI protocol one device serves as the master, with the rest acting as slaves. The Administration of Nizhny Novgorod province warns about the “Ambivalent Public Reputation” of the Unification Church
Press release by the Department of Communications with the Public, Administration of Nizhegorod province

Recently on the downtown streets of Nizhny Novgorod one can frequently meet young people who ask passersby to donate money for the needs of a “student organization,” “for aide to students,” or to buy postcards attached to the same charitable purpose. These young persons, who are not averse to appealing to people who are relaxing in street cafes, as a rule do not report that they represent a religious association that has an ambivalent reputation, “The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity” or the “Unification Church,” or that they represent one of its numerous daughter organizations. One in particular is the youth student organization, the “Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles,” CARP. The “Unification Church” has recently become more active in our province, but its successes have been less than in a number of other regions.
Adherents of the religious association “The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity” (Unification Church, UC, for short) began to spread in the territory of our country in the second half of the 1980s. This organization, according to its own data, comprises of around two million followers [this number has never been substantiated], active in 160 countries. The founder of the UC, the Korean Sun Myung Moon who was born in 1920, created his organization in 1954. Several times he has been charged with “amoral conduct and holding persons against their will [1955],” refusal of military service [1955], and tax evasion [and document fraud, etc., 1982]. On this last charge he served a thirteen-month prison term in the US. Besides this, many other indictments in various countries have been advanced against Moon’s organization. At the same time it is necessary to note that the UC possesses enormous experience in responding to indictments and maintains a large staff of qualified attorneys.
If one speaks about the doctrines of Moonism, frequently the views that really are preached in Moonist religious organizations, as a rule, are quite different from those which its missionaries begin with when introducing Moonism. The doctrines comprise approximately the following. There have been three epochs in the divine revelation to the world: the epoch of Moses, the epoch of Jesus Christ, and the current epoch, the epoch of Sun Myung Moon. His followers consider him to be the Messiah, the living God, who was called to unite all Christian religions and create a “new humanity,” a new harmonious human family, as well as some kind of new race of [sinless] people in order to secure peace throughout the world. People who are not followers of Moon are condemned to destruction [because they are still tainted by original sin]. There is a paradox in the way the doctrine also emphasizes “the value of every religion on the road to creating a single world” [and their theology of the Fall and sin].
Public concern, however, is evoked not by the doctrines of the Moonists as such but by the actual practices of the religious organization. Various public associations in the West and in Russia, whose purpose is to oppose the negative influence of some new religious movements, have arisen since World War II. With respect to Moonism reporters have frequently used such phrases as “destructive cult,” “totalitarian sect,” and “psycho-cult,” etc. (Of course, such expressions do not have a judicial character since in the Russian law “On freedom of conscience and religious associations” there is no notion of “sect” or “cult.”) The reasons for this are seen in the following features which, in their opinion, are characteristic of the Moon organization. It is possible that some of the following points are open to debate.
1. Social mimicry: that is, an attempt to conceal their religious and mystical essence under secular names and forms [front groups]. As already noted, Moonists often are in no hurry to give the name of their organization. For example, they introduce themselves as representatives of “an international student organization” (CARP). There are a whole range of Moonist organization by whose names one could not guess that they are directed by Moon or his wife, Hak Ja Han: “International Religious Foundation, IRF,” “Assembly of the World’s Religions,” “Global Congress of the World’s Religions,” “Inter-Religious Federation for World Peace,” “Youth seminar on religions of the world,” “Religious Youth Service, RYS,” “Service for Peace,” “Interdenominational Conference of Clergy, ICC,” “International Cultural Foundation, ICF,” “International Relief Friendship Foundation, IRFF,” “International Federation for World Peace,” “Professors World Peace Academy, PWPA,” “International Educational Foundation, IEF,” “CAUSA,” “Universal Peace Federation, UPF,” “International Conference on the Unity of the Sciences, ICUS,” “The Summit Council for World Peace,” [“The International Association of Parliamentarians for Peace, IAPP,”] etc.
In Nizhny Novgorod the following are active: “Youth Student Organization, CARP,” “Women’s Federation for World Peace, WFWP,” “Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, FFWPU,” and others. In all there are around 300 of such organizations. For their purposes Moonists try to use all serious public problems: the struggle for peace, the environment, drugs, AIDS, etc. Frequently a young person is invited to a lecture where during the introduction nothing is said about Moon.
2. Strict “totalitarian” organizational hierarchical structure, built on the cult of the leader and harsh discipline in a pyramid of power; authoritative subordination and centers of power outside the control of society. Members of the UC relate to Moon as an absolute power, and obedience to him is placed above all civil laws. Public organizations are disturbed by the so-called “blessings,” massive weddings of couples who beforehand were “infallibly” arranged by Moon on the basis of a few moments in a matching ceremony or by photographs and written forms. There have been cases when Moon married 30,000 couples in this way. As a rule, the couple is chosen from representatives of different races or, at least, different nationalities. [Sometimes the marriages were just done for the purposes of getting visas. Many Japanese were matched with Americans so they could stay in the US to work for Moon’s businesses.] Incidentally, the “messiah” himself was married three or more times before his present marriage, and the divorces are explained by Moon’s followers as the inability of the previous wives to cope with the mission that was laid upon them.
3. Emphasis on conversion, the transformation of the consciousness of members of a particular organization, and on manipulation of people for the goals of Moon; alienation of people from the outside world and disruption of their social relations. Among Moonists they conduct hours-long lectures in the course of which it is forbidden to ask questions; Moonists try to restrict new converts from contacting the outside world as much as possible. And often they do not hesitate to do things that threaten to break the relations between parents and children. All methods of psychological techniques that have been worked out in several new religious movements are employed (“love bombing,” and the like). A characteristic trait of Moonists is a focus almost exclusively upon youth, especially impressionable young men and women and those who are facing various problems. There is evidence that in Moonist congregations members shadow each other and demonstrate blind obedience to the leader. [Leaders are regarded as being in Abel position; followers are in Cain position and must be obedient to reverse the failure of Cain in the Garden of Eden. Reports on fellow members are given to “central figures.”] There arises the danger of depriving a person of basic rights and freedoms which are declared in the constitution of the Russian Federation and in international documents.
4. Emphasis on the maximum receipt of commercial income by means of donations, exploitation of the unpaid labor of members, transfer of personal property to the organization, etc. These characteristics of Moonism are especially evident in foreign countries where Moon owns a great number of enterprises, including [factories that manufacture for the] military. Moon is among the richest people in the world, and his religious activities have enabled him this situation. For the time being in Russia stress is not placed on the immediate growth of income, but on the creation of a sufficient base of converts for “the saintly Moon.” In Russia in Moonist organizations missionaries and evangelists are encouraged with free trips to USA or Canada (where they also engage in missionary activity, collection of donations, etc.). The real leaders of Moonist organizations in Russia are, as a rule, foreign citizens. In Russia Moonists practice the formation of teams for collection of donations which travel to other cities. In Russia it is characteristics for Moonists to devote attention to leaders of various institutions who are offered free trips abroad. However various free camps for children and youth, rallies, and concerts are organized.
In the West, Moonism long ago acquired a negative reputation (less so in US where the position of Moonists is more solid) and a whole series of declarations by authoritative public and other organizations against the Moonists has occurred. Thus, back on April 2, 1984, the European Parliament adopted a declaration on the question of the damage to society by the Moon’s Unification Church:
“The European Parliament having carefully analyzed the damage created by the sect of Moon: 1. welcomes the uninterrupted exposure of the Moonist activity through mass media, 2. calls the governments of the whole community to take care that the sect of Moon not be granted any special status, not be permitted any arrangements, and not be given any special privileges, 4. calls for notification of the Commission on Youth, Culture, Education, Information, and Sports regarding the activity of adherents of the sect of Moon and the danger which it represents for society.”
In December 1994, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation requested information from the embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, FRG, about non-traditional religions and the relationship of the government of FRG to them. In the FRG response, they noted that the FRG government sees a danger in such organizations as the UC “in particular in their hierarchical authoritative structure which often contradicts generally recognized democratic values, in their fundamental ideology and claim of the absolute truth of their convictions about the ‘way to salvation of the soul,’ which deceives people and completely takes control of those who are seeking for themselves a change and new orientations, and in the demand of unconditional obedience of their members. . . .” In the West there have been a lot of negative magazine and newspaper articles about Moon and his organizations and a number of books have come out. Thus, if one speaks about editions with substantial numbers, the book by the French television reporter Jean-François Boyer “The Empire of Moon” has been translated from the French into Russian [and Spanish].
Apparently, in particular in connection with the fact that in western countries Moonists to a significant extent have discredited themselves, they have rushed into eastern Europe as soon as the possibility presented itself. Their spread in the former USSR was facilitated by M. Gorbachev’s reception of Moon in the Kremlin in 1990, as well as by the uncritical attitude toward this organization by various groups including the offices of national education. A role was also played by the imperfections of the Russian law “On freedom of religious profession” which was adopted in 1990. However, it must also be noted that the Moonists have much experience in organized missionary activity and are able to work without formally violating laws. Moonists have managed to create a network of their organizations in Russia. In a number of educational institutions the coursebook, “My world and I,” which they developed, has been taught.
Recently, however, public opinion with regard to Moonists in Russia has not been different from that of the West. This is expressed in the mass media which in the past three years has published many critical materials about the followers of Moon. The dangers caused by their activities has been noted by a number of scientific and public conferences devoted to problems of youth. This, for example, was noted in the concluding document of the international seminar “Totalitarian sects and problems of the protection of the interests and rights of the family, children, and youth in Russia” (Moscow, December 7, 1995).
In St. Petersburg there was a court case based on a suit brought by parents of young men and women who had been drawn into the UC. It was claimed that these young people had suffered psychological damage. In December 1996 the State Duma, by a substantial majority of votes, adopted an open letter to the president of the Russian Federation “About the dangers and consequences of the actions of several religious organizations on the health of society, the family, and the citizens of Russia.” The letter suggested the working out of a concept for the religious security of Russia; among the religious organizations whose activities posed public danger the letter names, among others, the Moonists. The letter emphasized that teaching in several thousand Russian schools with the textbook “My world and I,” prepared by the Moonist International Education Foundation, is a “blatant violation of the constitutional principle of the secular nature of our schools.” The Russian Orthodox Church and other traditional religious organizations in Russia, as well as a large portion of protestant Russian religious associations, view the Moon organization negatively.
There have been complaints made to the provincial administration and the administration of Nizhny Novgorod from parents whose children became adherents of Moonism.
In our country the time of prohibition of religion has passed. There is no doubt that adherents of the Unification Church (now known as the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification) have the right to their views and to have respect for their leader. However, the principle of freedom of conscience should not mean an uncritical attitude toward those religious groups which have a negative international reputation. The point is not a matter of “persecution” or of “whipping up anti-cult hysteria,” but of the citizens’ right to have information and to develop a critical point of view about any religious association, including the followers of Sun Myung Moon. It is this which has caused the Committee of Religious and National Relations of the Department on Relations with the Public of the administration of Nizhegorod province to distribute this press release.

In the early 1990s I met the then Russian minister for education. He alleged that a representative of Rev. Sun Myung Moon offered him $1 million as a personal gift if he would distribute textbooks extolling the virtues of the Unification Church in all Russian schools.
The response he related to this offer was unforgettable: “I will not sell the souls of Russia’s children.” However, the minister had the wisdom to know that while he could reject the Moonies offer, he was still left with the problem of how to teach virtue to Russia’s children.
As the conversation developed, it was clear that the minister was seeking some kind of textbook in order to accomplish the task of inculcating virtue. But he was perplexed by the need to find an alternative to the godless ideology of the Communism Russia was rejecting, but without thereby embracing a sectarian dogma. …

How to Build a Content Calendar (Plus a Free Template)
Some helpful advice on Video and Content Marketing.
Creating a content calendar from scratch is one of those tasks that seems so much more complicated than it actually is. Even just opening a blank Excel spreadsheet can feel overwhelming. Thankfully, sometimes all that’s needed to get on the right track is a quick how-to and a great starter template, which is exactly what we have for you here.
In this post, we provide a guide to building a content calendar, plus a free template for the year.
The Definition of a Content Calendar
Before we jump into calendaring our content, let’s talk about what a content calendar actually is and a few baseline requirements for success.
We define a content calendar as a shareable resource that teams can use to plan all content activity. This allows you to visualize how your content is distributed throughout the year. We prefer a calendar-based format, as opposed to just creating a long list of content to be published, because it comes with several benefits:
Gain inter-and cross-department alignment: Inform everyone about what is being published, when and where, so there are no surprises or duplication of efforts.
Get a 50,000-foot view of content: Create a clear visual of how your content is distributed throughout the year.
Identify content milestones: Plan content around key events or important dates.
Spot content gaps: Gain a sense of what content still needs to be planned, with plenty of lead time to line up more content.
Inform the content creation workflow: Make sure you have your content ready in time to actually publish when needed.
Consistency is insanely critical to content success. Yes, amazing new ideas and brilliant sparks of creativity help, but we can’t rely on them alone. They’re too inconsistent and unreliable. Instead, everyone needs to be on the same page with what content is being created, plus where and when it’s being published. It has to be done on a regular, ongoing basis. That is precisely where content calendars come into play.
The further ahead you plan, the better positioned you will be to produce a consistent flow of content.
The 4 Keys to Content Calendar Success
Whether you plan content on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis, depending on how quickly your industry or organization moves, there are several universal keys to content calendar success:
Open your calendars to everyone: While not everyone should have the ability to edit a master content calendar, everyone should at least know where the content calendar is located and have viewing access.
Iterate constantly: A content calendar is a living, breathing document, and it should change and grow as your content needs do.
There’s no one right way to calendar your content: There are a million different methods, templates and approaches to take. We’re providing you with a baseline template and a proven process that we use for ourselves and Convince & Convert clients, but you should also play around with the approach and modify elements, as needed. We tinker with it all the time too.
Create a content repository: Don’t get stuck on ideas that you can’t implement immediately and don’t get hung up on the “we’ll never be able to do that” ideas. Instead, create a repository of content ideas that you can tap into whenever needed.
Fantastic! Now that we have all of that out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff: calendaring all of our amazing content.
How to Build Your Content Calendar in 3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Start with Existing Content Assets
There’s a lot of focus on creating new content when we should really be focusing on creating more with less. It’s also usually not necessary to produce all your content from scratch since we often leave heaps of valuable content just lying around.
Instead, start by taking note of all of your existing content or resources to see what can be repurposed and remixed. For example:
Slide decks: Repurpose these as videos, blog posts or key takeaway slide decks.
First-hand data or research: As long as you use that data safely and in ethical ways, leverage your own data or research to create infographics or news stories.
Colleagues and coworkers: The expertise of your colleagues can be tapped for video, audio or transcribed interviews.
Whitepapers or reports: Break big content pieces into a series of blog posts or social takeaways. We call this content atomization, which we’ll dive into in just a bit.
Old blog posts: Make minor adjustments and update with fresh information. If they’re all on the same topic, combine them into an uber-post or whitepaper, which is a process we call reverse atomization.
Repurposing content assets takes away some of the strain of having to come up with a million new content ideas. It also helps you efficiently fill gaps in your content schedule. A single content asset can also often give rise to several pieces of content, which we refer to as content atomization. It’s the process of taking one big piece of content and spinning it out into eight smaller pieces of content. For example, an infographic can support a blog post that analyzes the integrity of the data on which it was based. You could also include a video which explains the wider ramifications of its findings – so on and so forth.
Content atomization will become your best friend when it comes to content calendaring.

If you’re already familiar or just want the highlights, content marketers need to start to think like television networks and create content shows. In short, these content shows become predictable, steady initiatives that our audiences can rely on and recognize. In fact, these shows are something that they actually look forward to.

There are 3 types of shows you need to identify within your content:
Binge-worthy shows: These shows are big, steady ongoing content initiatives that have the same theme and format. They should target at least two audiences, otherwise they’re not worth the time or effort to produce. These are often podcasts, video series, webinar series, white papers, reports, etc. You should be able to execute this show at least twice per month. These also get plugged into your calendar first.
Binge-worthy show example: I’m a massive fan of Retro Replay, a relatively new weekly YouTube show that pits two of today’s most well-known video game voice actors against some of the most difficult and/or nostalgic video games of the past. It premiers live every Thursday at 4:00 pm PT and includes a live chat with the hosts. Aside from being super fun to watch, this show is also a fantastic case study for what a true binge-worthy show looks like and for how to build and engage with an audience. Seriously, check it out.
One-time shows: These shows are special quarterly or yearly shows that attack a major customer pain point or topic. Although they’re less frequent in cadence than binge-worthy shows, they’re still fairly large content pieces. Think white papers, research papers, contests, user-generated content campaigns, etc. These don’t have to have the same level of consistency, but they should still be in line with your branding, voice and tone.
One-time show example: Who doesn’t love CMI’s annual Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends report?! This yearly report is chock-full of goodness. Even though the report varies slightly in design and layout each year, it’s consistent enough that audiences know exactly what to expect.
Regularly scheduled programming: These shows are ongoing content initiatives that round out your calendar, and they don’t have to necessarily connect completely or be 100 percent consistent in theme. Like in the case of blog posts, they may have a different author, topic or format, depending on the content, but they always connect back to the content strategy and have at least one clear audience in mind. Think of them as what a local nightly news show is to any major television network.
Regularly scheduled program example: Convince & Convert’s own blog is our version of regularly scheduled programming. We have our twice-a-month ON newsletter (binge-worthy show) and our big masterclass courses (one-time shows), and then we have our blog to help round out the calendar and provide ongoing information (regularly scheduled programming).
It’s important to note that you most likely already have content shows in your existing content assets, so check your inventory first. It may just be a matter of spinning assets a bit differently, giving them an official show title or connecting them in more consistent ways.
If you don’t have any shows in your existing content assets, or you need more shows to round out your calendar, then you’ll want to focus on creating new content shows.
Step 3: Plan, Schedule, Publish, Promote, Track and Tweak Your Content
Regular editorial planning meetings between all those involved in content creation should be scheduled well before the next publishing period—be it monthly or quarterly. This meeting can be used to schedule the publishing content from your repository with realistic time frames and to support social media activity, email newsletter inclusions, etc.
Your planning meetings can also be used to review the visit, engagement and revenue (if available) stats from previous periods to assess which types of content are most successful (and perhaps need to be replicated) and which are less successful (and perhaps need to be rethought).
Analytics (both web and social) and revenue data can also be used to make tweaks to already published content (e.g. titles, introductions, outbound links, etc.) to optimize visits and engagement.

That’s because it’s a great starting place, easy to edit and modify, and almost everyone has the ability to open the file.

Add content to the content repository: Don’t have a place right now in the calendar for some great ideas? Add it to the repository. Let this be your storage solution for great ideas and check back on it often.

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, is a premier institute dedicated to the intense multi-disciplinary research supporting the ambitious nuclear energy programme of India. 2. AGE LIMIT
The candidate must be an Indian national. The candidate should be less than 28 years of age as on last date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable up to 3 years in case of Other Backward Class applicants, 5 years in case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe applicants and 10 years in case of persons with disabilities applicants.
Note : ONLY SSC/ MATRICULATION CERTIFICATE OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTED AS PROOF OF DATE OF BIRTH, NO SUBSEQUENT REQUEST FOR CHANGE SHALL BE ENTERTAINED.
3. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
I. Candidates should have consistently good academic record and should have secured minimum of 60% aggregate in B.Sc. and 55% aggregate in M.Sc. from a recognized University.
II. a. Candidates those who have completed and awaiting the final results of M.Sc. Degree may also apply. However, such candidates should necessarily attach copies of the mark sheets of B.Sc. Degree and a copy of M.Sc. first year mark sheet(s) along with the application. Such candidates should have scored marks above 60% aggregate until the previous semester/year and minimum aggregate of 60% in B.Sc. level. In case such candidates eventually join the Fellowship, they shall have acquired aggregate marks of 55% in the qualifying degrees.
b. Candidates with five years integrated M.Sc. degree should have secured minimum of 55% aggregate in M.Sc./B.S.-M.S. (Dual degree).
c. In case appearing candidates are selected for JRF, they should secure 55% marks in aggregate in the M.Sc. examination and submit their M.Sc. Degree and mark sheet by July 01, 2021, failing which their candidature may be terminated.
III. Relevant certificates to this effect should be submitted at the time of joining the Centre. Wherever the results are declared as CGPA/GPA, it may be converted to percentage and entered. (The formula prescribed by the institute for conversion to be indicated at the time of verification).

IV. In addition to the above, ONLY those candidates who have appeared and successfully cleared atleast one of the following qualifying examinations will be shortlisted for interview at BARC, Mumbai. Applications will be scrutinized and the suitability of candidates will be decided on the basis of their academic performance and qualifying examination. The recommendation/decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.

4. SELECTION PROCEDURE
Applications will be scrutinized and candidates will be shortlisted for interview based on their academic performance and score obtained in the Qualifying Examination.
A first screening will be made based on the previous academic records of the applicants.
A further shortlisting of candidates will be made based on the performance in the nationwide screening test (Qualifying Examination).
5. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
i. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/ she fulfills all the eligibility conditions mentioned in the advertisement. Candidates should ensure that they fill in the correct information. Furnishing of incomplete, false or misleading information shall render the application liable to be rejected. The candidate would be admitted to various stages of the recruitment process based on the information furnished by the candidate in his/ her application. Only summary scrutiny of the application would be made before the final stage of the recruitment process and detailed scrutiny of the eligibility of the candidate would be done only at the final stage of the recruitment process. As such, the candidature of the applicant shall remain provisional till detailed scrutiny is undertaken and the candidate is found eligible in all respects. BARC would be at liberty to reject any application at any stage of the recruitment process if the candidate is found ineligible for the post or if it comes to notice that the candidate has furnished false information. The decision of BARC shall be final in deciding the eligibility of the candidate. The mere fact that a call letter has been issued to the candidate and allowed to appear in the interview will not imply that his/ her candidature has been finally cleared or that entries made by the candidate in his/ her application have been accepted as true and correct.
ii. Age, qualification, experience, community status, creamy layer status will be reckoned as on the closing date for submission of application online.
iii. Those who are in employment under any Central/ State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporations/ Local Govt. etc. should submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.
iv. Candidates will be required to bring the printouts of their online applications at the time of interview along with original documents.
v. SC/ST/OBC (clearly indicating Creamy Layer status) certificate should be as per the format prescribed for employment in the Government of India.
vi. The original certificates/ documents of the candidates will be verified at the final stage of the recruitment process. The shortlisted candidates must bring all original certificates of educational qualifications, experience, date of birth, caste certificate in the prescribed format, disability certificate in respect of PWD candidates, No Objection Certificate if in regular employment under any Central/ State Govt./ Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporations/ Local Govt. etc.
vii. The list of candidates selected for the award of Junior Research Fellowship will be displayed on the BARC website. The selected candidates will also be informed by mail. The final induction of the selected candidates as JRFs will be subject to production of all necessary documents in original (Proof of Date of Birth/ Caste Certificate/ physically challenged certificate if applicable, S.S.C/H.Sc./B.Sc./ M.Sc. degree and Mark sheets) on the dates intimated to the candidates by the Department.
viii. The number of fellowships indicated in this advertisement is approximate and may vary as per the requirement at the time of final selection. The Centre reserves the right not to fill up the fellowships if it is so desired. BARC reserves the right to screen and call only such candidates as are found prima-facie suitable for being considered by the Selection Committee. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed conditions should not entitle one to be called for an interview. The fellowship shall not confer any claim or right for regular employment in the Centre or any Unit of Department of Atomic Energy. Opportunity for meritorious candidates exists for the position of visiting scientist under the KSKRA scheme.
ix. Candidates who are NOT meeting the mentioned qualifications NEED NOT apply.
x. The period of service rendered as a research fellow will not be counted in any post of DAE/Other Government Department.
xi. Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee, which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof.
xii. No correspondence whatsoever form will be entertained from candidates regarding the reason for not being called for the interview/ outcome of the interview.
6. APPLICATION FEE
i) Application fee of 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) is payable at the time of submission of online application. The mode of payment of the Application Fee is only Online.
ii) Application fee is exempted for Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Person with Disabilities.
iii) After submission of the online application, the applicant has to make online payment of the application fee using the Application Number generated. If the application fee is not paid, the application will be treated as incomplete and rejected.
v) For payment of fee, candidates should click on the ‘Make Payment’ option under the ‘My Account’ menu. The Application number generated while submission of application can be selected from the Drop-down box and on clicking the submit button candidates can go to the next page for making the online payment.
v) Detailed guidelines for payment of application fee is available under the menu “How to Apply Payment of fees.”
vi) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances and cannot be held in reserve for any other recruitment.
vii) Application fee should be paid on or before the last date of receipt of online application.
7. HOW TO APPLY ONLINE
i. Facility for submission of online application will be available from 18/12/2020 to 15/01/2021. For detailed information about online submission of application and procedure for payment of application fee, please visit https://recruit.barc.gov.in. Please read the instructions given on the Home page of our website by clicking the option ‘How to apply’.
ii. Applications will be accepted ONLINE only. Candidate should not apply multiple applications.
iii. Candidate should read the instructions in the advertisement and online application form carefully before making any entry or selecting any option. While filling up the online application from candidates should ensure that all the required details are entered.
iv. Before filling the application form, candidates should keep ready the necessary documents/ certificates required. The candidate is required to fill up personal details and details of discipline applied for etc. and upload recently taken front-facing passport size photograph in JPEG format with size not exceeding 20 KB. Photographs not in conformity with the specification shall render the application liable to be rejected.
v. While filling the application online, it is mandatory for the candidates to indicate all their Educational and Professional Qualifications under the column ‘Educational & Professional Qualifications’, failing which their application will not be processed.
In case candidates are “pursuing MSc” Or “pursuing MSc(Intg)”, correct option should be selected from the ‘Name of Examination’ Drop-down box. Those who have completed M.Sc. may select “MSc.” OR “MSc.(Intg)” from the ‘Name of Examination’ Drop-down box.
vi. A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for submitting application online and email ID should be kept active till the declaration of results. BARC will send call letter for interview to the registered/ given e-mail ID or candidates may be required to download from the website of BARC. No correspondence will be sent through post/ courier.
vii. The candidate must ensure that their photo and signature is clearly visible in preview at the time of filling application in online mode. If photo/ signature displayed is small or not visible in preview on website, that means photo/ signature is not as per the required format and in that case the application will be rejected. Therefore, candidates must ensure that photo and signature are clearly visible.
viii. Candidate should upload their SSC/H.Sc./B.Sc./M.Sc. Mark sheets and Degree Certificate along with the valid Qualifying Examination Score Card and Caste certificate(if applicable), while applying online. The online applications without the attachment of these documents shall be disqualified.
ix. Before clicking the submit button, the candidate is advised to check that all the details filled in are correct. Candidate may also ensure that name, date of birth, etc., are entered correctly in the application form as per Secondary School Certificate (SSC). Any incorrect information may disqualify candidature. After final submission of application no request for change/ correction in any of the information in the application form shall be entertained under any circumstances.
x. In case the original SSC/H.Sc./B.Sc./M.Sc./Qualifying Exam Score card/mark sheets/certificates have been submitted to any other institution for pursuing other courses, copies can be uploaded and candidates are required to submit a letter to that effect from the Head of that institution at the time of interview.

8. TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE
Candidates called for the interview will be reimbursed to and fro Third AC railway fare by the shortest route (subject to production of original tickets) as per rules.
9. MEDICAL
The selected candidates are eligible to join the Contributory Health Services Scheme of this Centre as applicable.
10. ACCOMMODATION
Limited hostel accommodation is available. The selected candidates will be provided with subsidized bachelor Hostel Accommodation for an initial period of one year only. The candidates will be assisted to get accommodation on rental basis. The candidate who could not be provided with accommodation is entitled for HRA @ 24% of the Fellowship.
11. FELLOWSHIP AND TENURE
The selected candidates will be initially taken as Junior Research Fellows (JRF) and will be paid a stipend of 31,000/- per month. The fellowship will be provided initially for a period of two years. Continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and review at the end of each year. On satisfactory performance, the tenure of Fellowship will be further extended and upgraded to Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the third year onwards with a stipend of 35000/- per month (consolidated). The total period of the fellowship shall in no case exceed five years. They are entitled for a contingency grant including a book allowance of 40,000/- per year.
In addition, the fellows are entitled to a House Rent Allowance of 7440/- p.m.(JRF) and 8400/- p.m. (SRF), if not in occupation of Government accommodation.
12. CANCELLATION OF THE CANDIDATURE
Candidate is cautioned not to furnish any incomplete, false or misleading information or submit any document which is defective, forged or fabricated or otherwise not admissible or claim fraudulently SC/ST/OBC/Person with Disability status etc., or resort to any sort of malpractice during the selection process. Notwithstanding verification of original documents during various stages of the selection process, if any such case is detected at any stage of the selection process or later on, this Centre reserves the right to withdraw/cancel candidature or selection apart from taking other appropriate legal action.
Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview if they fail to bring the print out of the Application and a valid photo identity card (such a Voter ID, Driving License, AADHAR Card, Passport, College ID) and all the documents in original at the time of interview.

How to Build a Content Calendar (Plus a Free Template)
Creating a content calendar from scratch is one of those tasks that seems so much more complicated than it actually is. Even just opening a blank Excel spreadsheet can feel overwhelming. Thankfully, sometimes all that’s needed to get on the right track is a quick how-to and a great starter template, which is exactly what we have for you here.
In this post, we provide a guide to building a content calendar, plus a free template for the year.
The Definition of a Content Calendar
Before we jump into calendaring our content, let’s talk about what a content calendar actually is, plus a few baseline requirements for success.
We define a content calendar as a shareable resource that teams can use to plan all content activity. This allows you to visualize how your content is distributed throughout the year. We prefer a calendar-based format, as opposed to just creating a long list of content to be published, because it comes with several benefits:
Gain inter-and cross-department alignment: Inform everyone about what is being published, when and where, so there’s no surprises or duplication of efforts. Get a 50,000-foot view of content: Create a clear visual of how your content is distributed throughout the year. Identify content milestones: Plan content around key events or important dates. Spot content gaps: Gain a sense of what content still needs to be planned, with plenty of lead time to line up more content. Inform the content creation workflow: Make sure you have your content ready in time to actually publish when needed.
Consistency is insanely critical to content success. Yes, amazing new ideas and brilliant sparks of creativity help, but we can’t rely on them alone. They’re too inconsistent and unreliable. Instead, everyone needs to be on the same page with what content is being created, plus where and when it’s being published, and it has to be done on a regular, ongoing basis. And that is precisely where content calendars come into play.
The further ahead you plan, the better positioned you are to produce a consistent flow of content.
The 4 Keys to Content Calendar Success
Whether you plan content on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis, depending on how quickly your industry or organization moves, there are several universal keys to content calendar success:
Open your calendars to everyone: While not everyone should have the ability to edit a master content calendar, everyone should at least know where the content calendar is located and have viewing access. Iterate constantly: A content calendar is a living, breathing document, and it should change and grow as your content needs do, too. There’s no one right way to calendar your content: There are a million different methods, templates and approaches to take. We’re providing you with a baseline template and a proven process that we use for ourselves and Convince & Convert clients, but you should also play around with the approach and modify elements, as needed. We tinker with it all the time, too. Create a content repository: Don’t get stuck on ideas that you can’t implement immediately, or don’t get hung up on the “we’ll never be able to do that” ideas. Instead, create a repository of content ideas that you can tap into whenever needed.
Fantastic! Now that we have all of that out of the way, let’s get to the good stuff: calendaring all of our amazing content.
How to Build Your Content Calendar in 3 Easy Steps
Step 1: Start with Existing Content Assets
There’s a lot of focus on creating new content when we should really be focusing on creating more with less. It’s also usually not necessary to produce all your content from scratch since we often leave heaps of valuable content just lying around.
Instead, start by taking note of all of your existing content or resources to see what can be repurposed and remixed. For example:
Slide decks: Repurpose these as videos, blog posts, or key takeaway slide decks. First-hand data or research: As long as you use that data safely and in ethical ways, leverage your own data or research to create infographics or news stories. Colleagues and coworkers: The expertise of your colleagues can be tapped for video, audio, or transcribed interviews. Whitepapers or reports: Break big content pieces into a series of blog posts or social takeaways. We call this content atomization, which we’ll dive into in just a bit. Old blog posts: Make minor adjustments and updated with fresh information. Or if they’re all on the same topic, combine them into an uber-post or whitepaper, which is a process we call reverse atomization.
Repurposing content assets takes away some of the strain of having to come up with a million new content ideas. It also helps you efficiently fill gaps in your content schedule. A single content asset can also often give rise to several pieces of content, which we refer to as content atomization. It’s the process of taking one big piece of content and spinning it out into eight smaller pieces of content. For example, an infographic can support a blog post that analyzes the integrity of the data it was based on. You could also include a video which explains the wider ramifications of its findings. So on and so forth.

Step 2: Identify and Create Your Content Shows
If you’re not familiar with Jay Baer’s concept of creating content shows, you can read his in-depth post about content shows. If you’re already familiar or just want the highlights, content marketers need to start to think like television networks and create content shows. In short, these content shows become predictable, steady, initiatives that our audiences can rely on and recognize. In fact, these shows are something that they actually look forward to.

There are 3 types of shows you need to identify within your content:
Binge-worthy shows: These shows are big, steady, ongoing content initiatives that have the same theme and format. They should target at least two audiences, otherwise. they’re not worth the time or effort to produce. These are often podcasts, video series, webinar series, white papers, reports, etc. You should be able to execute this show at least twice per month. These also get plugged into your calendar first.
Binge-worthy show example: I’m a massive fan of Retro Replay, a relatively new weekly YouTube show that pits two of today’s most well-known video game voice actors against some of the most difficult and/or nostalgic video games of the past. It premiers live every Thursday at 4:00 pm PT, and includes a live chat with the hosts. Aside from being super fun to watch, this show is also a fantastic case study for what a true binge-worthy show looks like, plus how to build and engage with an audience. Seriously, check it out.
One-time shows: These shows are special quarterly or yearly shows that attack a major customer pain point or topic. Although they’re less frequent in cadence than binge-worthy shows, they’re still fairly large content pieces. Think white papers, research papers, contests, user-generated content campaigns, etc. These don’t have to have the same level of consistency, but they should still be in line with your branding and voice and tone.
One-time show example: Who doesn’t love CMI’s annual Benchmarks, Budgets and Trends report?! This yearly report is chock-full of goodness. Even though the report varies slightly in design and layout each year, it’s consistent enough that audiences know exactly what to expect.
Regularly scheduled programming: These shows are ongoing content initiatives that round out your calendar, and they don’t have to necessarily connect completely or be 100 percent consistent in theme. Like in the case of blog posts, they may have a different author, topic or format, depending on the content, but they always connect back to the content strategy and have at least one clear audience in mind. Think of them as what a local nightly news show is to any major television network.
Regularly scheduled program example: Convince & Convert’s own blog is our version of regularly scheduled programming. We have our weekly ON newsletter (binge-worthy show) and our big masterclass courses (one-time shows), and then we have our blog to help round out the calendar and provide ongoing information (regularly scheduled programming).
It’s important to note that you most likely already have content shows in your existing content assets, so check your inventory first. It may just be a matter of spinning assets a bit differently, giving them an official show title, or connecting them in more consistent ways.
If you don’t have any shows in your existing content assets, or you need more shows to round out your calendar, then you’ll want to focus on creating new content shows.
Step 3: Plan, Schedule, Publish, Promote, Track and Tweak Your Content
Regular editorial planning meetings between all those involved in content creation should be scheduled well before the next publishing period—be it monthly or quarterly. This meeting can be used to schedule the publishing content from your repository with realistic time frames and to support social media activity, email newsletter inclusions, etc.
Your planning meetings can also be used to review the visit, engagement, and revenue (if available) stats from previous periods to assess which types of content are most successful (and perhaps need to be replicated) and which are less successful (and perhaps need to be rethought).
Analytics (both web and social) and revenue data can also be used to make tweaks to already published content e.g. titles, introductions, outbound links etc to optimize visits and engagement.

Start with binge-worthy shows: Add these into your calendar first, and make sure to pay attention to any key dates or big events. Add your one-time specials: Pay attention to how they overlap or complement your binge-worthy shows. Round it out with regularly scheduled programming: Last, but definitely not least, add in your regularly scheduled programming. These should help fill any gaps in your cadence and keep content consistent. Add content to the content repository: Don’t have a place right now in the calendar for some great ideas? Add it to the repository. Let this be your storage solution for great ideas, and check back on it often.
That’s it! Now you can edit and update it, as needed. The actual calendaring part is pretty quick, once you get your shows established. Now, bring this to your editorial meetings, and make sure to keep tabs on how content is performing, so you can adjust your publishing flow and content ideation, as necessary. Happy calendaring!

On American postwar reorganization of European economies
Without equally far-reaching transformations in the accumulation process of European capitalism, however, this state system, even with its nuclear glacis, might have proven as short-lived and crisis-torn as its Versailles predecessor. The first five postwar years were characterized by the widespread persistence of absolute impoverishment and the failure of initial attempts to liberalize commercial and monetary policies. Historical myth has enshrined the image of a European recovery that resulted from the massive transfusion of investment provided by the Marshall Plan. Certainly Marshall aid was decisive in assuring the short-term resources that enabled governing Cold War coalitions to defeat local Communist challenges and to surmount immediate consumption crises. But much of this initial impact was quickly dissipated by currency speculation, just as the earlier British loan of 1946 (which marked the final economic disestablishment of the British Empire by the United States) had been immediately reexported overseas in a vain attempt to defend sterling convertibility. What rendered the recovery of the Marshall period more profound and thorough than the ephemeral Weimar boom were the greater scale of capital imports and the radical changes in the very composition of European capital.
As Kees van der Pilj has carefully documented in an important study, the American corporate and financial establishment, through both state agencies and private channels, exerted a massive and multiform pressure to redirect European economic development away from cartelism and colonialism to auto-centered growth based on consumer-durable consumption within an integrated European domestic market. This Americanization of the European economy ultimately enacted Keynes’s ‘euthanasia of the rentiers’: that is, a recomposition of internal economic and political power within the European bourgeoisies, displacing the traditional rentier/colonial-cum-protectionist/heavy industry blocs. The economic preconditions for this restructuring of capitals (and capitalists) were achieved during the Korean War boom and the formation of the European Iron and Steel Community; its political precondition was the emergence of new ‘growth coalitions’ with intimate American ties, linking together the leading cliques of all the NATO parties.
The US interest in promoting and subsidizing European Fordism was, of course, hardly selfless: on the one hand, an enlarged, dynamic European market fuelled demand for US mass production technology (whether as export or investment); on the other, high-productivity, mass-consumption capitalism immensely strengthened Europe as a bulwark in the Cold War. The general congruence of American and West European interests within a hierarchical Fordist order, however, was only achieved through periodic conflict and crisis—especially over the shape of NATO military integration and the fate of European imperialism. Given the American masterplan for global neocolonialism (the universal ‘Open Door’ sought by successive US administrations since Cleveland), resistance to decolonization, the loss of empire, and military subordinancy all became momentarily potent rally cries for the declining fractions of the old European financial and rentier/colonial groupings. In this sense, the definitive accession of the metropolitan Fordist era was only achieved with the French and Belgian withdrawals from Algeria and the Congo, following on the heels of general monetary convertibility (circa 1958–1962).
Summarizing, we may say that the temporary American economic and military supremacy at the end of the Second World War was transformed into a more durable US hegemony only because American power was simultaneously deployed for counter-revolutionary ends (to break up the threat of a unitary European labor movement) and for bourgeois revolutionary purposes (to liberalize and restructure European political economy). As a result, the axis of the world market economy shifted from inter-imperialist rivalries among semi-autarkic monetary-colonial blocs to inter-metropolitan exchange based on the generalization of Fordism in Europe, America and Japan.
