I do wonder sometimes, you know... is my personality anything more than a load of Simpsons quotes and half-remembered articles I've read in magazines, kind of glued together, in like... a human form?

if you like rusty quill i think you would also like definitely human so here are some of their podcasts
they’re both british podcast networks and now that i think about it they are eerily similar. anyway here are some podcasts
The Bunker- A radio show, broadcasting from the Apocalypse. Three men (David, Dave, and Tom) cling desperately to the last vestiges of civilization, meet new friends, and go on exciting adventures. There’s violence and philosophy and dark humor and regular humor! Takes place over 12 hour-long episodes, each consisting of multiple shorter segments.
MarsCorp- The chronicles of E. L. Hobb as she attempts to take charge of a Martian terraforming project, years too late. Very similar to Stella Firma, but with more trans robots and traumatized gay mad scientists.
The International Worldwide Global Biscuit Review Podcast (IWGBRP)- Two men take it upon themselves to objectively review every biscuit. This podcast charts their descent into madness (and richard nixon costumes).
The Infinite Bad- A globe-trotting horror actual-play podcast. “In the aftermath of World War I, four strangers find themselves caught in a web of evil beyond their reckoning. To survive, they must band together despite their differences and unravel the grisly mysteries that entangle them. “
Pax Fortuna- Another actual-play podcast, this time in the fantasy merchant city of Fortuna, where “ there are no kings and no knights, only the leveling honesty of gold.” Features a rotating cast of characters.
Down- A horror podcast about a submarine journey to the bottom of the ocean. It’s tense, darkly funny, and includes at least two (2) mlm.
there’s also The Monster Hunters which i personally have not yet listened to, so i will just give you the description from the website!  “Take a trip back to swinging London in the early 1970s and meet Roy Steel, ex-big game hunter, and Lorrimer Chesterfield, a brain in the shape of a man. Together they are The Monster Hunters. Their mission: to protect the country from vampires, werewolves and a whole pantheon of unmentionable terrors! Taking its cue from the classic period of British horror and adventure, the 1960s and 70s, The Monster Hunters is a comedy adventure series written by and starring Peter Davis and Matthew Woodcock.“

Does anyone else have that one podcast that instantly cheers them up no matter how many times they’ve listened to it before?
For me it’s the international worldwide global biscuit review podcast. I can be in just the worst mood, but within a few minutes of listening I’m laughing like nothing was wrong in the first place

Hey, there are a few podcasts I couldn't find on your list so I thought I'd point them out quickly: 'Marscorp' and 'We Fix Space Junk' are both scifi comedies, 'The Unseen Hour' is a comedy horror anthology podcast and IWGBRP (the international worldwide global biscuit review podcast' is exactly what it sounds like, people reviewing biscuits (comedy, trust me). Also the Lost Cat Podcast (probably classified as horror). These are all found pretty easily on twitter if you need to check them out
Hey there! These are all on the list already (on the separate genre pages, which may be why you missed them -- in retrospect I need to go make those links clearer), except IWGBRP, which I don’t believe is an audio drama? Please correct me if I’m wrong on that, though, and thanks so much!

Hello, fellow humans - but also robots, monsters, aliens, and other eldritch abominations. The absolutely normal human beings [citation needed] behind Definitely Human are asking for your support so that they may keep creating and producing podcasts for your ears.
You may recognise their name from a number of depressing brilliant shows such as The Bunker, MarsCorp, The International Worldwide Global Biscuit Review Podcast, The Infinite Bad, and coming soon (but with early access already available for $5+ patrons) Pax Fortuna!
They’ve also taken over the production of The Monster Hunters, which means we’re finally (!) getting the rest of season three (and hopefully more seasons, too) along with additional content such as behind the scenes dissections of all episodes, and the Steel Got It series on SoundCloud and Twitter.
If you enjoyed any of the aformentioned podcasts, please consider supporting Definitely Human on Patreon; and if that isn’t an option for you, even spreading the word about the shows would definitely help.
