Everyday I wake up at 8 in the morning, get ready and leave for college. After completing all the classes and assignments, when I come back home I feel exhausted, tired and l get lazy. My college finished at 4pm. I shouldn't be that tired in the middle of the day right???🤔

I got my answer during my internship. Everyday I used to wake up at the same time, 8am in the morning. I get up, get ready, have breakfast, go for my driving class and then leave for my internship. I get back from my internship at around 6pm. But I was not tired or bored or lazy.

What was the difference?? During my internship I was working more as compared to my college but I did not feel bored or restless rather I started adding extra activities to my schedule. So, what really changed??

It was FOOD 🤯. Shocking right ?? How can food simply make such a huge difference. Often at times students like me usually skip meals for various reasons. Someone is dieting or someone does not have to time to eat. Now, I understood the fact that if I have a lot of work to do I need to fuel my body. Working constantly without eating meals will only bring headaches and stress.

I joined DGN Social, a startup, recently, hoping to grow my skills in digital marketing and build a strong foundation in the field.

At the time, I was told that the first month would be unpaid, followed by a stipend for the next three months as it would be a “training period.” But the reality was quite different.

Magang Pertama

Dari mana aku harus mulai?

Sekira awal bulan Mei, tepatnya hari Senin tanggal 3 Mei 2021, aku memulai kegiatan magang di Kejaksaan Negeri Jakarta Selatan. Kegiatan magang pertamaku dimulai ketika aku berproses di semester 4.

Oke, biar kuceritakan. Jauh sebelum tanggal 3 Mei, di bulan Maret yang aku telah lupa tanggal berapa pastinya, aku menyerahkan berkas dokumen untuk kegiatan magang di Kejari Jaksel. Saat itu, kupikir aku dapat langsung masuk begitu saja, tapi ternyata ada 15 orang lain yang namanya ada di antrian sebelum namaku! Fakta ini baru kuketahui di bulan April, ketika tanggal yang dijanjikan tiada seorang dari Kejari Jaksel yang menghubungiku. Jadi saat itu kuputuskan untuk bertanya langsung.

Kala itu, asaku untuk magang di Kejari Jaksel telah pupus. Aku tidak ingin mempercayai instansi pemerintah yang selalu php. Jadi, aku mencari tempat lain sebagai tujuan magang, yaitu Interpol yang beralamat di Blok M. Permohonan surat pengantar sudah diajukan ke pihak kampus, proposal sudah disunting, dan segala tetek bengek lain. Lalu, aku juga menargetkan Mahkamah Agung karena ajakan salah satu teman dekatku, Andrea.

Tadinya, aku tidak ada niat untuk mendaftar ke MA, tapiii satu-satunya faktor yang membuatku tertarik adalah: tiktok salah satu teman angkatan yang katanya dapat vaksin covid-19 ketika magang di MA. Tanpa babibu lagi, aku mengumpulkan beberapa temanku yang tertarik.

Di bulan April, tepatnya tanggal 26, Diaz dan aku menyerahkan berkas dokumen yang diperlukan untuk pengajuan magang di MA. Dengan rencana dadakan, Joshua ikut bersama kami memberikan berkas dokumen terkait. Kami dijadwalkan melakukan kegiatan magang pada bulan agustus (setidaknya ada jeda dari jadwal magang di kejari ups, spoiler).

Tanggal 14 April, sebelum pergi ke MA, di siang hari yang biasa-biasa aja, ada sebuah pesan masuk di whatsapp. Awalnya kupikir kontak ini hanya scam gak jelas atau orang aneh yang mau kenalan. Tadinya aku mau membalas pesan tersebut dengan lebih jutek lagi dari sekadar "ini siapa ya?", taapi kuurungkan niat itu. Ternyata, yang menghubungiku adalah pihak Kejari Jaksel wkwkwk. Beliau mengabari kalau aku sudah bisa masuk sebagai anak magang di hari Senin depan. Dengan perasaan sedikit lega, aku berterima kasih dan mengabarkan kehadiranku.

Minggu pertama kegiatan magangku berjalan oke. Tiap minggunya sudah dibuat jadwal mengenai kegiatan yang akan dilakukan. Jadwalnya sebagai berikut:

5 hari pertama belajar administrasi dan registeer;

5 hari kedua belajar arsip;

5 hari ketiga belajar proses bisnis perkara korupsi;

10 hari keempat belajar berkas;

5 hari kelima membuat laporan magang dan evaluasi.

Karena tidak ada perkara yang masuk, jadi kami (anak magang) langsung belajar arsip. Tugasnya memberikan lidah (post it) angka sesuai urutan surat dan membuat daftar isi. Cukup membosankan, memang.

Di sela-sela kegiatan, kadang ada jaksa yang meminta tolong untuk dibuatkan dokumen seperti p-24, p-29, dan lainnya. Misalnya, seperti Pak Hendi, Kasubsi Penyidikan yang memberikan berkas narkoba dan berkas penipuan. Kami diminta untuk membuat check list dari resume penyidik, membuat p-24, dan p-29. Atau Pak Dicky yang meminta tolong untuk dibuatkan p-37, p-41, p-41, dan p-44 dengan jumlah perkara 4 (masing-masing dapat satu).

Aku lumayan suka diminta untuk membuat dokumen seperti itu. Walaupun sedikit membuat pusing, setidaknya lebih baik untuk belajar langsung dari kasus yang sedang ditangani.

Oh ya, di hari jumat minggu pertama, kepala divisi TP Khusus, Pak Sabrul memberikan kami masing-masing uang sejumlah seratus lima puluh ribu. Ini membuatku benar-benar senang karena malamnya aku ada buka bersama dengan geng SMA (lol).

Di minggu kedua setelah idul fitri, Bu Andi selalu memberikan kami, anak magang, makanan. Hari senin diberikan ketoprak, hari selasa diberikan ketupat sayur, hari rabu diberikan nasi padang kotak. Walaupun aku selalu bawa bekal dan sudah makan siang, tentu saja tidak pernah kutolak semua pemberian itu! HEHE.

Overall, kegiatan magang di Kejari Jaksel cukup menyenangkan. Dengan jaksa-jaksa yang baik dan teman-teman baru dari UPNVJ, aku cukup menikmati kegiatan magang pertamaku ini. Yah, walaupun agak lelah karena jam kerja dari pukul delapan pagi hingga empat sore, sih.
