HEAR ME OUT-- i headcanon that tsukishima kei has a sweet tooth, and absolutely cannot take anything bitter, mainly because his favourite food is strawberry shortcake. so here's an idea:

"i thought you'd like coffee. it's bitter and black, just like your soul." kageyama had stated bluntly one day, and hinata nodded his head in agreement. (tsukishima retorts back about something to do with a milk obsession.) it seems like a common misconception.

you ask him to check out a new cafe that's famous for their coffee with you, and even though he hates coffee with a passion, he finds himself agreeing to it. he is convinced it's because of how excited you look.

he gets a mocha, hoping the chocolate could even out the bitterness of the espresso. he stares at the black liquid in his cup and braces himself. he takes a sip of it, and still winces at the taste. you catch the scrunched up look on his face.

"is the coffee alright?" you ask, and the concern on your face made him feel bad for disliking coffee at all.

"it's fine, i'm just not a fan of coffee." he admits, but waves it off, hoping you wouldn't worry about him. he doesn't expects you to laugh, though. he raises an eyebrow. "i assumed you were the type who likes coffee, so i brought you here thinking you'd like to try. i actually prefer anything over coffee."

oh.

he lets out a small laugh of his own. "idiot," his expression is softer than his usual cold demeanor. "it's about time we ditch this place then." you two end up getting bubble tea.

also imagine you taking a sip of his drink, from the same straw he had used, and his cheeks burn. when you ask him about it, he simply turns away and denies everything. hfjdgfhihd.

Despite Richard being a male protagonist the very notion that a female author invented him (mostly based on her real experience) means a lot to me.

Perhaps that's why it was easy for me to relate to him— he is part of the group but at the same time he clearly isn't, he is tolerated and seen as some object on the side. Insignificant. That's how it feels sometimes, to be in a group that was already set, a group that never needed you in the first place. And even though Camilla was the only female there (romanticized and almost as vain as the rest of them), Richard's situation is also encountered by most women or anyone who is new to their friend group. The way Donna incorporated herself into the protagonist is crucial because she worked on this novel for several years, her thoughts are well articulated and we witness that in the very beginning

do you guys truly understand how important it is that the TWO (2!!!!) dimensional, time traveling, cosmo traveling places are a DINER and a MOVIE THEATER!!!! The TWO things that bring people together, MEDIA AND FOOD!!!! The two things that bring people together no matter their differences!!!!! No matter what language you speak, planet or universe you're from, what path of life you're from, movies and food bring us together. It brings us comfort, makes us laugh and cry, makes us FEEL. The two things the universe needs.

My favorite part of baby David is that the only time we've ever seen him pre "redemption" was when he was telling the story so there's literally no way for us to know if he dialed the meanness up or down

Like, maybe he dialed it up in hopes it'd resonate with Max more or maybe he dialed it down because there were children in the car that he didn't want to think less of him or get any new ideas, maybe he just didn't want to lose any respect they have for him, who knows

You mentioned something about an accident taking place which made the Narrator the distant and sour man he is today. Will you elaborate on that or is it still in the works/hidden info for now?

Does the Narrator ever regret what he's done to the people that used to be in the office?

Are we [the audience] part of their world or is this whole thing just a way for you to communicate your AU in a more user interactive and fun way?

Steve who starts gaining weight and instead of getting insecure, just becomes more confident. He's happier this way, he thinks he's even more attractive this way too. He still works out, he still likes sports but now he likes eating just as much. He starts wearing crop tops and shorts and others things he would've never worn when he was thinner. The kids don't comment on it but he sees their smiles as he instantly reaches for snacks. The adults stop reminding him to eat, Mrs. Henderson only sends him home with food because he likes her cooking. Robin playfully smacks his stomach and likes to cuddle with her face in his tummy. Eddie loves the new Steve. He constantly touches his belly, his thick arms and thighs. He watches Steve eat with a loving and fond smile. He stocks up on food in preparation for Steve coming over. He's always found staring at the little bit that peeks out over Steve's jeans.
