•SPOILED FUCKING ROTTEN, she is SO cheeky, most times her giggles will echo throughout the halls. She has absolutely NO FILTER, at the high lords meeting she’ll point a Beron and repeat what she heard Rhys say when talking about him “Ginger cunt” it was quite an awkward meeting after that

• He literally can’t say no to her, and she knows this, all she has to do is the puppy/baby doll eyes and she gets whatever she wants

Azriel-

•Your two daughters are polar opposites, of course they had Illyrian wings and Az’s hair but they have your eyes and Az adores it, he’s very protective over his daughters

• Thea is much more gentle than her sister, when she was younger she was scared of her shadows but now they are a comfort to her and Az taught her how to wrap them around herself like a blanket (she has gotten stuck a couple times tho)

•She usually does that blanket thing whenever she’s snuggling with Az, they are both very calm so she defo a daddies girl

•Petra is a mini psycho, not really but she is much more wild, when she was a baby she would have massive tantrums whenever she wasn’t near you, she’s a mummas girl, and was never scared of her shadows but instead used them to freak out her sister #sistertings

•Like I said, Petra was much more wild, like she would act first and think later, this stresses Az out SO MUCH because he’s scared something will happen to her but it brings him comfort when he sees her finally calm while asleep laying on you whilst your on the sofa

Cass-

•Goes flying with Jaxs almost everyday, it gives you a mini heart attack every time but you trust that he won’t drop him, Cassian would rather fly into a volcano then put your son at risk

•Jaxs is prone to having tantrums, he doesn’t mean to be stroppy, he is just very emotional and doesn’t know how to explain is and so he cries and sometimes hits

•The first time Jaxs hit you in a tantrum, he was 2, it wasn’t hard and he tried hugging your after but Cassian was pissed, he put Jaxs on the naughty step and was scared his son would just get more violent, to which you had to explains that Jaxs just had big emotions for a small child and is learning

•After that you all fell asleep in an armchair, you in Cassian’s lap and Jaxs in yours, somehow it was beautiful and chaotic, Cassian held you both closer and couldn’t remember a time when he had been so happy

•When he’s not unhappy, Jaxs is the most rambunctious, you can’t count how many times he’s come to you with a red mark on his face because he ran into a glass door, he’s a sweetie though and such a carbon copy of his father, also I can totally see Cassian wearing those baby carries that go across the front, with no shame, he’s comfortable in his masculinity

(Btw, he’s still hung up on the fact that you didn’t let him call Jaxs Cassian Jr)

Lucien-

•Lucien is very warm, idk how to explain it but I imagine him giving very homely vibes

•Kalea is the same, she likes staying close to her parents and really likes nature, so much that every Saturday you all go on walks in the country side

•There, Kalea chases butterfly’s and picks flowers, though the orange ones are always here favourite

•She doesn’t really have a favourite parent, she just finds comfort in both of you and is a little cautious meeting those she doesn’t know but when she gets to know then she is super cute

•You two are Lucien’s entire world, nothing, and I mean nothing could make him happier then playing board games in pyjamas as a family, Infront if the firelight whilst the sun sets

Eris-

•So-Berons dead!

•Anyway, he DOES make tiny thrones next to yours and his for your sons, Idris is the older one but Maël is the one who acts older, Idris is the one accidentally setting trees on fire whilst Maël judges from a distance

• Maël will usually be found in your lap, playing with whatever necklace you have on and trying to relax when suddenly Idris, with the tips of his hair on fire comes running through the hallways yelling like a madman and 2 seconds later Eris is running after him

•After that Maël will probably mutter something like “They crazy mama” to which you just nodded

•Eris will make some serious changes to the decor in your house, whilst growing up all Eris remembers is the lifeless dark hallways so he changes that immediately, he is determined to be better than his father and give his children a happy childhood

Helion-

•Yuna is the probably one of the most spoiled children ever! And I mean like- if it were a modern AU her room would be worth like 30Mil by the age of 5

•Her favourite colour is gold and she is absolutely covered in it! Gold clothes, gold jewellery, gold glitter, gold everything!

the reader is this innocent little thing who is so sweet, kind, is good with animals and kids, and runs a bakery/cafe which is what caught Wriothesley's eye in the first place.

he had been at your shop before for some tea and knew you were the owner and you've seen him a few times in your shop, but you two had never really spoken.

in my headcanons, i see him as a gentleman so he's usually polite to anyone unless he knows you're a bad person/criminal

one day, he saved you from a couple of criminals who were bothering you. thats when you two finally spoke to one another. you were thanking him profusely for saving you. it would probably be too cute to him so he blushes a bit from how cute you are and gives you a slight smile saying its no big deal.

a few days pass and you find out where he works so you visit him to give him some homemade muffins as a thank you. this would cause the man to become more smitten with you.

even though I see him as not really being a sweets person, he'll eat your treats since you're the one who gave it to him. i mean, what kind of gentleman would he be if he let your treats go to waste.

after this, he would visit your shop more often just to see you and of course have some tea.

It was a random trip to the mall, Sarah somehow had managed to make both Joel and you leave the house to take her to the mall and get a new backpack for her soccer gear.

Both Sarah and you wandered around, looking for possible gifts to give Joel on his upcoming birthday. Since you two were already there you didn’t want to waste the chance. “He’s a hard man to treat.” Sarah grunted. “He definitely needs another pair of boots, tho.”

“He has boots,” you chuckle. “He just chooses to wear the same raggedy ones every day.”

“Lord.” She grabs you by your shoulders slowly putting her weight on them, a lazy look on her face as she stomps her foot. “Imma go find him, old man is probably looking at tvs.”

You nodded, Sarah disappeared and you kept looking for something that Joel might like.

You two had been in a relationship for over five years, met him and Sarah at a restaurant —the little girl stood up from her seat and invited you to sit with her and Joel — you were never going to forget it. They make you the happiest ever since.

He kisses you ever so softly, so passionate and to show him how much you long for him, you kiss him right back. “Can you imagine? You growing round with my baby?” His eyes are closed, his forehead resting gently against yours. Deep down he’s trying his hardest not to grow hard underneath his pants. The man loves you, like, really loves you and he obviously wanted to make you a mama.

You nod your head, butterflies and whatnot making your stomach tickle. Suddenly, his arms are around you, pulling you close and kissing your head multiple times. You feel safe, at ease.

“Gross.” Sarah walks past the two of you, giggling as she drops something inside of the kart just to leave the two of you alone. You let out a giggle, your hand reaches for the kart and Joel whispers something sweet into your ear.

“S’ wait until we drop her off at practice tomorrow and you’ll see.” He rubbed your arms, you reached for his face and peppered kisses on him, the feeling of being kissed by you making him as excited as the first time you ever did. “I’ll make a mama outta you, angel.”

I'm back on my bullshit again~! A more proper view of Hunter!Tahir (where he's not suffering my memes for once) as I imagined him while I played through The Northern Passage IF demo @northern-passage And small scenes and interactions with the characters: Lea Chen, Merry Harlowe, Clementine and Noel Lykaon

Special appearances by Dot (the horse), a badly carved turtle, a little lucky bell and the Rot (and Tahir at the end of the demo)

Fangirlish rambling under the cut! It long

This honestly largely took this long cuz I could *not* figure out which scene I wanted to use for Noel! Xe has a ton of really great scenes but in most the Hunter wears their cloak (as per usual) and I really wanted one where that doesn't happen. Cuz, for Tahir, Noel is one of the people he's the most comfortable just being himself around rather than a hunter, cuz xe is hunter too but kind and he makes it easier. And since Tahir is an idiot who didn't even care to check for the wraith before going for Clem, he's kinda unconscious when they first meet!

So I ended up picking the scene in front of the door after the Hunter accidentally-on-purpose opens the Vel, where, to hide xirs fear and concern ('m guessing), Noel makes a joke that actually has the Hunter laughing. A short moment of almost normalcy surrounded by something that, of the group, only the two fully share.

Meanwhile Lea (he/him from a d3 toss) gets to be a gremlin! It was honestly a cute and really natural scene that I'd been itching to doodle for a bit so here it is! (Tahir's horse is called Dot cuz she has a dot in the centre of her forehead. She's a lusitano uwu I'm dating a horseboy, I gotta respect the horse) Tahir's favourite (non alcoholic) drink is actually coffee so Lea won himself some extra points right there! That he immediately lost for laughing at Tahir's suffering >:'(

Merry gets the scene with the little carved turtle cuz my thoughts were pretty much the same as Tahir's when I read the scene. It was really cute! It felt like seeing Merry rather than the pirate captain who is trying to protect her town, almost vulnerable and caring for just a little trinket that matters to her. Basically, Merry cute, cute Merry cute, I draw

Clem gets to tell a story! A story that, I'm sure, isn't going to be deeply meaningful nor anything. This is also a moment where Clem reaches out to the Hunter with an offer to protect them so I really wanted to include it. Despite how scared they seem, they still offer to come to the Hunter if he calls, and, ye, wanted to draw that!

And Tahir! As the Hunter. Tahir has brown eyes in the narration but he normally has amber ones, so I kept here even if it's hard to see ':D

Alcohol for his poison of choice. Favourite magic is sword. Touch starved as much as touch averse, no, he doesn't get it either.

He promised Jorah and he means to keep that promise, but gods if he’s not tired…

Very protective of his people: Noel, Lea and his dads mentors in particular, but Merry and Clem too (and whoever might need protection but these people most of all atm). In part thanks to that promise, and how it does help remind him to not hate others for… well, most of what being a hunter means, but it has led to him internalising a lot of that anger into a lack of care for his own safety that then leads to him being almost self-sacrificing when others are in danger. It’s fine tho! He’s fine!

He’s always fine, he has to be.

I haven’t figured out yet which romance path he’s gonna go for yet! Merry cute, Lea is delightful drama, and Noel is an absolute darling (sorry, Clem, you're not an option for Tahir, but at least that means less angst in your life??) so I am dying here!!

At this point in the demo Tahir’s managed to fight with Lea, but still agreed to talk, and lit his pipe (delicious scene btw, 5 stars~), was not kicked out of Merry’s ship cuz he kept away from the books but did get kicked out of her office when he went there to talk (yes, it hurt. A lot. He felt like such an idiot), been flustered by Noel and had a surprisingly not terrible conversation with him before they went to the isolation district, and made a blood pact with Clem, that came back to bite him in the ass (but also not really cuz wow! Keres hurts), he wants to have a little chat, Clem…!

He also got punched with the butt of a knife in the face by Duncan but paid him back in the final-current-demo-fight >:) (Duncan is awful in the absolutely best way possible! Had a lot of fun in his scenes and really enjoying hating the guy)

Really excited to get to find out what the hell Jorah is doing there, and working with/for Keres and Duncan?? In future chapters. (Also, Tahir would like to know where's Rodrick?? Where's dad, dad??) Also to find out more about the Hunter’s new “little” tagalong (aka, the Firstborn, I'm still going all in it's them!). Tahir actually doesn’t hate them, since they’ve only hurt him (as far as he knows) and not his people so there’s a good chance they’ll maybe be actually able to talk??

The microwave explodes with her Bolognese spaghetti and meatballs and it is all across the room, the smell of burnt spaghetti and plastic is everywhere and you just can't take it

"You are always like this!" You shout since this is the last straw

"What do you mean?" She says almost innocently "it's not a big deal"

"Not a big deal?! The whole room smells like your damn spaghetti and burnt electronic!" You shout

"No buts! Im moving away to another dorm, good luck" you shout as you go to pack your stuff. You are extra mad, it looks like hot steam will come right out of your nose and ears based on how mad you are right now. You take a couple of deep breaths and try to think who will now be your roommate. Maybe you went overboard, it's not like she did that on purpose. But no, she does this all the time, maybe it's for the best.

After you pack your stuff you go out and say your final goodbyes, now comes the hard part. Finding a roommate.

You go through dozens and dozens of dorms but every dorm has ben filled, this leaves you with 2 options, go back in shame or ask your friend aka crush Jungkook.

He is tall and funny, he is a year older than you and has tattoos all over his left arm, it makes him look so cool. He likes to drink and to joke around, he smokes cigarettes and has THE sexiest wolf cut, he har multiple ear piercings and such a nice body-

You put your stuff there and it looks tidy enough, you just can't imagine him seeing you sleep and eat and just be chill, it's too embarrassing, but still extremely exciting, i mean, what are the chances that you share the same dorm as your crush?

He gets out of his room "it looks like you already finished" he gives it a quick glance "you are really tidy" he chuckles "teach me how to be like you" he says in a joking tone

"what are you playing" you ask curiously

"some videogames" he tries to not make it a big deal

You smell some tobacco but you don't make a big deal out of it

"im going out, see ya later, roomie" he says with a chuckle and a wink

The wolf stopped dead in its tracks, looking up at something out of view. With a jolt, it ran with all its might, likely pursuing a deer or hare. And once again, the woods were silent.

Argus climbed up the steps and stood beside her. He stared at her as she watched the woods.

"Let's go back to the inn, it's too cold to stay out any longer," he started.

She nearly jumped out of her skin as she turned to look up at him.

"Don't scare me like that! And I'm fine, just let me be," she rolled her eyes.

"If I do that then you'll get hypothermia and you won't get to challenge Hawthorn for that rematch," he argued.

"What does it matter? If I can't even beat Hawthorn, then there's no way I'm getting home."

Argus kept his cool, sighing as he thought of what next to say. He mustn't lose his temper with her, not when she needed a world of patience and love.

Without a word, he scooped her into his arms. She squirmed and kicked as she tried in vain to escape. Argus was more than a head taller than her and had a decade of fighting experience. There was no way he'd lose to a tiny girl who hardly knew how to hold an axe.

As she gave up her struggle, tears started to trickle down her cheeks. She pressed her face to his chest as she cried and cried. She held onto him as tight as she could. Her nails dug into his waistcoat and it nearly got torn to shreds under her touch. But when he placed her on her bed, she let go.

She hardly moved as he took off her jacket and shoes. He made her lie down and tucked her in. His fingers danced across her scalp as he absent-mindedly pushed the hair from her face.

"I understand your frustration, Dee, but please give it another go. Hawthorn wants to help you learn and go home as much as Galatea and I, but he can't teach you if you give up," he whispered.

Claudia turned her back towards him.

This behavior was rare but it was difficult to deal with. Each attempt to help her, no matter what it was, would always be denied. He wanted to yell at her and tell her she was choosing the worst possible decision and call her mean words till his throat hurt. But he couldn't.

She was in a worse situation than anything he could ever imagine and needed help like he needed to breathe. He gave her hair one final ruffle before blowing out the lamp and leaving.

"Goodnight, sleep well," he muttered.

Just as he shut the door, he heard a squeak from her bed.

"What is it?"

She turned to look at him, sitting up as she did.

"I'm sorry, I'm just scared," her voice barely audible.

"It's fine," Argus said.

As he crawled into bed, all he thought of was her. He needed to get her home and see her smile.

I've also been curious!! Have you thought about any "alternate" versions of Reina in canon AUs/timelines? (Like two years arc, Be Forever Yorozuya, or AUs like Ginpachi-sensei)

*cracks knuckles* alright I got some thoughts™ about time skip (gonna tag as spoilers just in case we're talking about silver soul arc and not the crack one. plus this is going to be pretty long lol). Tho if we're talking about the silly two years one, I can definitely imagine Reina somehow evolving into an outgoing and confident beauty who happens to be a famous mangaka working under sh*unen j*mp, no longer a waitress or stuck with a curse. Basically living the dream. Wears glasses for some reason despite having decent eyesight.

As for the time skip that happens after Utsuro's defeat, it probably depends on a few factors, but she generally more or less ends up in a similar position as the og time skip. One of her doujinshi works ends up attracting the attention of someone in the manga industry and offers her a position as an assistant, which she instantly accepts. The pay isn't the best though (something that she's pretty grumpy about). She's still stuck with her curse, but at this point she's learn to accept it especially after realizing all the perks it comes with. Definitely has traded her waitress apron and outfit for a simpler pink or sky blue komon and has her in a single braid.

If she fell for Gintoki, who straight up leaves for two years, she's probably going to be keeping an eye on Shinpachi, and ends up bonding with him more as a result. Might get converted into an Otsu-chan fan, much to everyone's horror (sans Pachi). Despite this, she really misses a certain gluttonous Yato and an idiotic permhead, and keeps waiting for them to return even if she starts having doubts.

On the flip side, if she ends up falling for Hijikata, she might end up following him to the countryside despite his protests. Man already left once thanks to FS, so she's not taking any chances again. In this case, she might still be working as a waitress.

As for other AUs, I haven't really thought about Ginpachi-sensei :o! I'll have to brainstorm more about that. BFY, on the other hand...ngl my first thought was "reina would most likely get infected by the white plague early on and pass away as a result" (₸~₸). On a brighter note...oh man, I love 90% of the Gintama openings so this is a hard question (＾▽＾) OP 11 is definitely a favorite cause it focuses on the Shinsengumi (especially Hijikata). Like the part where Hijikata is at first running through the thorns alone, but then is accompanied by Kondo and Sougo? Ooh man my heart.

So I think I already established that Spark ( the Go team leader) is from Johto in my au and I assume I kinda placed the other two leaders in regions already, but, I think I wanna rework something a tiny bit.

So, again, Spark is from Johto, cause I thought it would be fun for him to be in the region where eggs were first introduced in the franchise.

I think Blanche would be interesting as someone who is Kanto-Sinnohian, with roots in Alola. Kanto-Sinnohian because I think it's a interesting contrast to Spark being from Johto. Kanto being the more technological/ industrial to Johto's more cultural mythos. Sinnohian cause that's where Prof. Rowan is, who also researched pokemon evolution, like team mystic. Where exactly Blanche was born and raised I'm not sure tho. Finally, the Alolan roots only because I feel like it's such a contrast to Blanche's general demeanor.

Candela is pretty hard to justify given her pokemon aren't pokemon that's native to Unova until bw, and I imagine her probably getting involved with Prof.Willow and the other leaders a bit before then, but the vibe I'm feeling is that she's Unova-Paldean( though she was born and raised in Unova) Ironically, this kinda the odd one out, being the only one that isn't from one of the Japan based regions, but I also think that doesn't affect her. Or at least she doesn't let it affect her. I do think the potential language barrier might be interesting ( they all speak English, but maybe for Spark it's like a second language or something, idk). Given how in my au, Team Go Rocket isn't really a thing, I gotta brainstorm what to do with the likes of Arlo and his relationship with Candela. Still bad like in canon but what's really different here.

I already have a story in mind for Spark: street orphan, was in the wrong crowd for a bit, almost joined team rocket but didn't, knows of Kenji and Aiko personally. The biggest vibe I get from Blanche, at least for this au because I'm not too familiar with the fanon for them, is that they grew up pretty wealthy? Again, just the vibe, it's probably the blue, but that's my point of view. Candela, in my eyes, wasn't as well off as Blanche but not in the sake situation as Spark was in. This could change in the future but yeah. The vibes so far( Spark is the only one that I'm pretty concrete in)

The Go Leaders in the Legendverse are definitely more in the background than anything, but I feel bad for saying they exist in this au of mine and that they're Chosens and then not have them do anything. Even if it's not a lot, I think it's worth trying to come up with some stories for them, you know?

Two big what Ifs

1-What If Ibrahim Pasha lived longer would he dethrone Sultan Sulieman for Prince Mustafa?

2-What if another prince ascended the throne instead of Prince Selim (Mustafa, Bayezid , mehmet)?

1-Well it is somewhat hard to predict it. Ibrahim generally never showed that he is willing to give up SS , even times where SS got sick he was the first one trying to stop Mahidevran from putting any ideas into Mustafa’s head. Of course if it happened and SS fell dead he was going to move on with Mustafa. Would he rebel tho against SS? I can’t see it but I don’t think it is far fetched to say that he would. Towards the end his arrogance grew so much he considered himself on equal foot with SS if not higher cause he believed he tamed to sultan. Could just be some diplomatic words to make foreign ambassadors be like “if the pasha like this imagine how the emperor would be”. Of course belittling the sultan in front of them was not serving the purpose he thought it would. But truly he was getting brave and if he wasn’t executed his bravery would double but to what extent will his bravery lead him I can’t predict. But generally any ruler will hear one of his subjects belittle him like that , specially if his subject is close to his mega popular heir…SS was rightfully paranoid.

2- Bayezid is the easiest to predict. During that time it was him and Selim and he 95% would’ve ended Selim. The remaining 5% is if he ever wanted to sit an example for his many sons to not kill each other even if there is tons of problems between them ,like him and Selim, to still remember they are flesh and blood.

Mehmed is kinda hard because we don’t see his relationship with Bayezid and Selim, they were teenagers. If Mehmed ascended the throne it means that Mustafa is obviously dead cause that ths only way. First scenario is he won’t kill any of them because of Hurrem and Mihrimah but would definitely side eye them all the time like Mu rat side eyed his brothers (he’ll do it in a less psychotic way) or He will kill them but Hurrem will also be dead. The problem with him is that he died young at the age of 21-23 , he didn’t clash with Selim or Bayezid and he didn’t clash with Mustafa either cause he was young. We most see him in his innocent and naive youth. From the look of it he won’t kill anyone as long as Hurrem is a live.

For Mustafa it also depends. If Mahidevran is still alive (which is very likely she lived long) then Hurrem’s kids will get killed gradually. First to get killed will be obviously Selim then bayezid. Bayezid will probably be kept as long as he is swallowing his pride bowing to Mustafa and how he will handle his family being in danger. Idk what will Mustafa do with Cihangir he will likely keep him alive cause unlike the other two, Cihangir can do nothing even if Mustafa killed everyone he loved in front if his eyes. The only situation their is a tiny chance for Hurrem’ sons to live is Mahidevran dying. But again it is also dependent on Selim and Bayezid attitude and if they are considered a threat they will probably be gone. For Hurrem, if her sons will be kept alive then Mustafa will probably exile her cause it wouldn’t make sense to have her sons beside him but kill their mother and expect them ,the grown men, to keep it collected. Mihrimah too will be with Hurrem cause Rustem will certainly not have his head in its place if Mustafa ascended the throne (okay I might be exaggerating but if not executed for Mihrimah and her daughter, probably exiled on an island to not have any human connections)

Anyway we have to understand fratricide law isn’t something they could’ve easily let go through that period. The brother of Ahmed I , Mustafa I, was kept alive only because Ahmed I couldn’t father a child , Ahmed used to get sick when he was young and they were afraid he would die suddenly so the better option was having Mustafa alive cause even if Ahmed fathered, babies dying in that period frequently too. Later Mustafa was never executed after Ahmed had many healthy children for being mentally ill and probably because Ahmed was traumatized and didn’t wanna waste blood specially when he had the chance to actually not waste Mustafa was no threat. So see? The fratricide law started to gradually decrease by merely luck. If Ahmed wasn’t young and Mustafa wasn’t ill mentally fratricide law would’ve been practiced immediately. It was practiced in Osman and Mu rat’s reigns because the princes could try to rebel specially in Mu rat’s case they certainly could (not that they would do it but you get the point)

Hiiiiiiiii, I stumbled upon knocked the other day and it was such a good read, which lead me to your masterlist. I had a huge feeling I would like what I find but didn’t expect for your writing to be that good! Knocked was just a taste of what was to come!!. First of all I just want to say that, you have brought me to tears reading these two fics which is something because I rarely cry reading books/fic. You just have a way of describing what your characters are going through that feels so raw. Like when yn cried and felt embarrassed because Taehyung read her diary. I don’t know if that was your intention but yeah had me shedding a few tears here and there. My two faves are Mixtape and The Iron Ring. Which is so funny to me because I usually dont like reading these tropes and I especially avoid Soulmates tropes/au like the plague 😭😭

But the way you build it up was just chef kiss. When she felt the pull for the first time, I really thought it’s because her grandma was associated with the Fae world, my mind didn’t even go there. Tbh I went in reading TIR not thinking too much and was sucked into this world you created just like yn a bit. I was just blown away how you built this world and normally I have difficulty imagining fantasy beings, like its hard for me to visualize a mental image but Jimin was so clear in my mind. I could see/imagine the hair, the outfits and even his eyes and teeth. There’s so much I wanted to say, like how I think Dreadwolf/jungkook is actually really cool and bit scary at first tho. Also Khioneeeeeee omg I want to know more about her plssssss. When she was talking to yn before the battle you could tell she lived and witness so many things and wow your mind is incredible for writing all of this actually! Ahhhhhhhh okay well HIIIII welcome to the chaos. I am so glad you found me! Knocked is definitely not what I would consider my usual writing, I'm definitely more fantasy/supernatural leaning but I am so glad that you liked it and that it brought you to me!

Mixtape is probably my favorite, just because it was the first series that I did on here and I absolutely fell in love with the friendships that I wrote for it. Reader's friend group holds a very special place in my heart and I really enjoyed writing gentle and patient Yoongi.

The Iron Ring is another fun one! That took AGES to write and there is a ton wrong with it/it's far from perfect but it's the first big fantasy piece that I put together so I am suuuper fond of it. Extra: the school period and seasons of the year are based on Brazil. Our schools start at the start of the year and end at the end of the year, with a winter break in July. Our year starts and ends during summer, so December is summer here.

How long has it been now? Days, weeks, months? You don't know, for time has lost it's meaning. Everything in your mind is them and only them. If only you told them how you felt before graduation, you wouldn't be in this situation.

It's December, your classes are over, the school year is over. You graduated and you were fortunante enough to get into your dream college. Classes will start again in two months, you'll meet new people, learn new things, be free from the shackled that bind you in your own house. But there's one thing you can't shake off, and it's all their fault, you say.

The memory of laughing together a couple of years ago haunts you. Since when did you become so quiet? So distant? You don't know, but everything feels like a mess now. You decide to text you best friend. Maybe she'll help you? Who knows. She got together with the one she loved, after all. She managed to confess during prom, when all you did was stare longingly at the person you desired.

You remember prom. You called them to be your partner and they agreed. The dance was... Something, for sure. The way they held you so carefully, the suave movements to the serene ballroom music, everything felt perfect. Your eyes were constantly going from their eyes to their lips, wondering how soft would be. But that chance is now gone, you lost it.

Maybe next time, you though at the time. But when would next time be? You barely had the courage to ask them out then, imagine now. You still remember that one time they had to wear a tight shirt to an interclass game, you lost, but that wasn't important. They were playing your favorite sport, wearing a tight t-shirt that accentuated their build. That only made you fall harder at the time.

Their laught, their smile, everything that came out of them mesmerized you and you couldn't help but give those loving longing looks at them when their attention was turned to their friends.

You wanted to confess, you truly did, but would they accept you? Did they even like boys? What if they don't, what will you do? You drifted apart during the pandemic and you didn't know how to tighten your bond again. You became shy, insecure, you truly changed.

Your chance is now gone. The only way to "fix" this situation is to message them, ask them if they're free to hang out. But you're scared, you're anxious. How would they react? Are they going to say yes? Are they going to think the situation is weird, since you haven't talked much? Who knows, certainly not you.

"Maybe another time" you say, turning your phone off, a calming song coming through your earphones. It was your favorite song. Maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to talk to them during this summer break...

I hope you enjoyed this short story. I'll try to focus on writing my requests again. It was good getting this out of my head tho, lol

I haven't read it myself but from what I've heard, the celestial madonna was an amazing storyline in the comics and it could get adapted into the mcu. but yeah, there were three potential celestial madonnas, wanda, agatha and mantis, and it was ultimately revealed that it was mantis. some stupid people think she's useless because she's shy and sweet but what the virgin mary is to us who have been raised christian here on earth, what she represents, etc... mantis is her equivalent in space. let her be powerfulllll!

and omg I don't blame you for choosing not to watch the gotg films :( I refused to give them a chance because the first movie opens up with a scene that is a bit triggering for me for personal reasons. I started crying so I turned it off and never watched anything from them, I met them through infinity war and endgame too. they had a cameo in thor love and thunder I think, but I refused to watch THEIR films. UNTIL I was told that there's a florence + the machine song in their third movie. I LOVE florence + the machine so one day I mentally prepared myself, watched the first two, watched the holiday special, and the next day I watched the third one (it's already on disney+) and HOLY SHIT they are now some of my favorite characters. I never laughed, cried or smiled this much watching a movie. I never cried WHILE smiling with a movie! they are insanely good (in my opinion). pushing past my triggers was hard but also so worth it. jesus christ in two days I fell in love with these characters and cried because I loved them that much haha. 😢🥰

funnily enough, I have a friend who loved the gotg ever since their first movie came out in 2014, but I could never get my friend to listen to florence + the machine. after listening to her song in the third movie, they became a huge fan of her music! gotg is what got them into her music and her music is what got me into the gotg, HAHAHAH 😂

treat your mental health as a priority tho. hopefully you enjoyed this little anecdote. {out of breath} Ohhh okay. Thank you for explaining a little because I really knew nothing about this at all. Isn't it always the characters we least expect, or the smallest, or the "weakest," or the most unassuming, or something that we then find out... oh, they're gods or some other kind of overpowered being? XD I'll put the rest under a cut because I discuss some triggering topics some people might not want to read about...

As for your anecdote... that's actually really funny, heh. You and your friend went through complete opposite processes haha. And how good is Florence + the Machine, seriously? Florence Welch has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. I try to belt out her songs sometimes and it's a lot of fun but... I'm nowhere near as good or as loud as she is. XD

Yes. Yes. That's actually exactly what I'm talking about. I did try to watch the GotG movies a while back without knowing anything about them, and it was shortly after my mother died of metastasized breast cancer that had gone to her brain, after me and my dad took care of her ourselves at home in hospice for five weeks. She was the person I was closest to in the world and I could absolutely not imagine my life without her, but beyond that... watching someone deteriorate mentally and physically before your eyes when they mean so much to you is just about the roughest thing you can go through in life in my opinion. It was the most traumatic thing I've ever gone through and I still have nightmares about various aspects of it six years later.

Anyway... yes, so I tried to watch the first GotG movie... and boom, first opening scene is that. Well, not the same because it's movie glamorized cancer death, and anyone who has known someone who has died that way knows that it is nowhere near as elegant, poignantly touching, or aesthetically soft as they make it out to be in the movies. But even so, the portrayal had enough truth in it to trigger me quite a bit and I had to turn it off. I don't have a problem hearing about cancer, or writing about it, but when I see it in a movie, it hits a little too close to home. Especially because it was Quill's mother, too, so that was just too close for me. It's so strange to me that I can watch the most graphic and frightening hardcore horror movies without any problems whatsoever, but one little scene like that? Messes me up completely.

So that is definitely something I have to get past if I'm going to watch these movies. But then I've also heard that the last Thor movie also has similar things in it, and I've seen some gif sets that have made me a little afraid to watch it. I thought I was in a good place to get through things like that, and then now my aunt has cancer and my grandmother moved back in with us and life has gotten pretty stressful, sad, and aggravating. So now I'm in this terrible place mentally, and that's not conducive to pushing my limits and trying to tackle hard-to-watch scenes.

Incidentally, I know several of you have sent in asks or starters that... I haven't touched. For a while. I'm really sorry about that, but some of them deal with topics that I just haven't had it in me to write, like various mental and physical health issues for example. Like I said, lately things haven't been great for me and my family and my writing is really suffering for it. I hope you understand that me not answering things doesn't mean I'm ignoring you specifically, it just means I don't have enough time to write or that I'm having trouble with certain topics.
