Tod Cutler – Italian 14th to 15th Century War Hammer – Dragon Hammer
This Italian medieval war hammer is based on a piece from the Venice Museum dated 1380.  Housed at The Museo Civico Correr in Venice, Italy. Francesco II da Carrara.  The original was a staff weapon at 20cm wide and this has been scaled down to be a hammer. War hammers generally had a faceted hammer for powerful concussive blows and a sharper pointed side which could be used for piercing and puncturing. Based on a piece from Venice Museum and dated 1380 . The head is cast bronze and steel and matched with a bronze end cap and all the components are securely fitted to a stout and robust ash hardwood haft.
War hammers generally had a faceted hammer for blows and a sharper pointed side which could be used for piercing/ripping.

"Breaking Me Down" by Soil
"A Secret Place (2004 remastered)" by Megadeth
"Descent - Aftermath" from the DAI Descent DLC soundtrack
"Tooth Fairy" by Nanowar of Steel
...and it didn't. hahahah I mean, except the Descent suite which is like, my favorite soundtrack throughout the games << at risk of being controversial, I prefer it to the Trespasser one. They're both gorgeous of course, but I can't really command my preferences

The Stiletto is a dagger with a long, needle-like blade, primarily intended as a stabbing weapon. It was a development from the Rondel and Misericorde daggers of the medieval period. The word 'stiletto' derives from the Latin 'stilus', a thin pointed Roman writing tool. Often a secondary weapon of knights, it was used to deliver the fatal blow or finish off a heavily damaged opponent. A popular weapon of the Italian Renaissance and through to the end of the 19th century, it followed Italian diaspora to the United States. The city of New Orleans suffered so many Stiletto related deaths it outlawed the sale of ant Stiletto in the city limits in 1879.

I know that the costuming is really subtle, and that it’s not like, the point, but can we at least talk about Sofia’s scarf? The one Katya wears in the last part of the film.
Like, the whole scene where she lends it to her, wraps it around her neck and says ‘it suits you. Keep it.’ And it’s like, Katya’s been wearing white the whole film, she keeps putting away the black dress because she feels guilty about her father, unworthy of grieving him, and it’s like Sofia’s giving her permission to mourn, and it looks black in every scene she wears it in, the dinner party, the scene in the bistro, all of it, right up until she tries to shoot Goncharov and misses, and when she steps out under the streetlight, all in black except now it’s obvious the scarf’s been blood red the whole time. It’s one of the more stunning bits of costuming in the era, never mind the film, in my opinion, and I can’t believe we’re all sleeping on it.
