Quax and Char now have the Itemfinder Mark too. Just Luna left. I did try but it’s being just as temperamental with the Itemfinder Mark as it is with the Partner Mark plus my Switch’s battery is low. I can’t actually remember how many of my Violet aces have it I just know Cherry has it

Chapter 48- Part 9
CW: mention of child death
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, seems like the situation here is being handled just fine, so let’s head out and look for-
Tumblr media
Oh, there’s more? Okay, neat, what’s this now?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wha-!? THIS is how you get the Bicycle in this game!? I did the first Magma Gang quest back like- before the third Badge, right? That was like…more than twenty chapters ago! That was back in May! I could’ve had the Bicycle this whole time??
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
…oh.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
…Well, that…shifted the mood of this encounter. Now I definitely don’t want this to go to waste…and now I definitely want to beat up even more Meteor people. We can only do one of those right now though, so…to the Bike Shop, then.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry dude, I know it’s a sore subject, but someone’s gotta put it to use…!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So…there it is, I guess. What’s it look like in the Bag, I wonder…?
Tumblr media
Yup, that sure is a Bicycle. I’ll just register it real fast…
Tumblr media
Makes it a little less convenient to spam the Itemfinder, but I can work around that, having the Bicycle as an option is a good trade-off.

there’s a secret passage to the sanctum? I’ve been playing for a while and I’ve never heard of this. do you mind telling me? I’m always looking for reborn trivia
In Neo Reborn City, it is the house where you originally double battle the fisherman conman and his partner. You interact with the TV and choose the Weather channel. It doesn't get you anything new, it's just a different path that doesn't require going through 7th Street.
...Another secret: you can get an item if you very thoroughly search under the canopy near where the youngsters are in the park south of that house. It doesn't show up with the itemfinder.

Welcome to Mineral Town
Quaint and quiet are the words most often used to describe Mineral Town. This small town houses the laboratory of the esteemed Professor Baobab and as a result is the first stop for all trainers as they must select a starter pokemon from the professor. The professor will also give trainers their most important tool, the Pokedex. Riwon’s Pokedex is unique from others in that it resembles a pair of glasses. It still scans pokemon and gathers information on them. It still keeps track of which pokemon a trainer owns. But it has other features too: * Holographic AR interface with the Pokedex * Phone with Holovid tech * Radio * Monitors the trainer’s vital signs After a trainer experiences the Bio Boost Baobab will upgrade the pokedex to monitor the user’s aura and keep track of how long and how many times they can safely use it in a period of time. Other upgrades include * Short range pokemon scanner to find hidden pokemon * Itemfinder * Flashlight

SEPTEMBER 16TH
In Pokémon Violet, I finally made my way to the next signpost. And even though it took a day to get there, Kieran still showed up last.
Tumblr media
More lore was shed on the legends of this country before Kieran gushed about how cool Ogrepon was.
Tumblr media
Whatever Ogrepon is, I feel like I can really relate to it.
I thought we'd go to the last signpost. But I agreed to go with Kieran to check out Ogrepon's den. A task that proved difficult after I found out I had to climb a mountain.
Tumblr media
Thankfully, it only took me a few hours to get there. Kieran suggested a battle would be just the thing to make Ogrepon appear. So, I was forced into a match against him.
To be fair, it wasn't THAT big a deal. He'd be even more shocked if I made Pikachu use Volt Tackle instead.
Even after all that, Ogrepon was nowhere to be found. But I did like this one comment from Kieran:
Tumblr media
I wonder if people can use these new Pokémon in tournaments...
I thought we would've backtracked to the last signpost, but Kieran suddenly noticed that time existed and decided to save it for the day after the festival.
While on my way to his house, I went back to finding an Itemfinder Mark for Braixen.
Tumblr media
Couldn't they have bothered to give this item any other name than THAT?
SEPTEMBER 17TH
I have a good design for the Dreams page on my website. I just have to draw it on paper and digitize it. But before I can get to that, I should finish those other art pieces.
My time with Pokémon Violet was a little short. Probably due to me finishing some work for school. While traveling back to Moussi Town, I met this man in a strange mask.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Apparently, he's part of a clan of Trainers. He was a lot tougher than I thought he'd be. It isn't an exaggeration when I say that he gave me more of a challenge than any of the Gym Leaders in Paldea.
I guess I should find the other Ogre Clan members to get a cool item.
After the battle, I set up the picnic site so me and my Pokémon could eat a sandwich. While at it, I set up the new chairs I received a few days ago. Let's just say I was less than impressed with the design of the Monstrous Chairs.
Tumblr media
So I set up some Academy Chairs instead.

Bzzt, wrong. Professor Liss was wrongly persecuted by the ESTABLISHMENT because she got TOO CLOSE to the TRUTH.
What 'truth' would that be, exactly?
If you will forgive my being rude, Cara Liss could not find the 'truth' with an industrial-grade Itemfinder.

Apple got its first mark - the Itemfinder Mark!
*A few songs later*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And in the span of one pickle sandwich, we went from all three Proto Beasts needing the Gourmand Mark to only Apple needing it - Blueberry and Lemon must have enjoyed that sandwich. Blueberry’s Mark collection is now complete as well. That was all I was waiting for for it
