"Hm? Why do I want to join the Adventurer's Guild? One time, some people came into the shop with a big request to fix up some old broken armor. It took my mom three days to fix it up! I asked the customers what happened, and they told me this awesome story about fighting a giant monster! Ever since then, I wanted to be just like them! Slaying monsters, going to far off places, and finding treasure! Mom says I could join when I'm older, but I want to join now!"

She's six years old. She's going to go to a new school next year. She hugs her friends goodbye. They tell her they're going to keep in touch. They'll still be friends. They'll tell her everything that happens.
She's fourteen now. She sits at the table across from her friends. They talk about people she doesn't know. She asks who they are, and her friends begrudgingly explain, but suddenly they're talking about some new person. She doesn't want to ask again.
They're sixteen. They invite their old friends to their birthday party because there's never been a year without them. They haven't spoken in six months due to the lockdown. I didn't know you changed your name. Oh, yeah, sorry. I didn't tell you. The distance between them is growing.
He's approaching twenty. He's back home for the summer. He sends a happy birthday text to a friend he hasn't had a serious conversation with in ages. He finds out she's eighteen now via her instagram story. He checks his other friends' stories and sees pictures of people he hasn't spoken to since he was six.
He wonders to himself, when did he burn all these bridges she promised she'd maintain?

i dont watch a lot of shows, but its been a while since i saw such an emotionally charged confrontation in a bl show. i believe great acting can elevate any confrontation scene (even if the conflict was contrived) but uh here, we knew this all along. we knew the pain was coming, i did, it was delicious, and braced for impact but i still am in shambles. wei lili packing random packets of food from the house for yuan, unable to focus on eating when yuan sits with that face, getting him to pass stuff just to talk to him. a resounding 'tell me, what's wrong?'. never have siblings been so real lol. also, i deeply appreciate the character of Sanpang, cause i think he's supposed to be the reflection of society, but in a far more gentler, loving way for he actually does care for both of them. lol he himself doesn't know 'what's wrong' exactly, just that something should be cause yk it's Wei Qian. also, he's far more nicer than in the novel i've heard. and not homophobic at the very least.

I feel like not many people know Armin is actually older than Eren and Mikasa but cus his birthday is in November they're the same age for most of the year
Armins birthday is November 3rd, 834
Mikasas birthday is feburary 10th, 835
Erens birthday is March 30th, 835
It makes sense to assume Armin is the youngest not only cus his birthday is in November but also cus the others seem to take care of him but Eren's actually the baby of the trio♡

Apologies if you have already answered this before but what do you think was ui’s reason for leaking information about fp’s rot to everyone? And could it technically be considered abuse of her phone operator powers?
i have a. look how old ask
in my inbox, which i keep wanting to reply to with a full colored comic n everything that would depict the the whole event of Innocence leaking the information, n i am Still determined to do that, so i shall withhold on saying it here
but YES. it absolutely counts as abuse of the powers given to her by bein a member of the POG. Phone Operators are Not supposed to use the things they are going to hear against their fellow Iterators or to start gossip. they listen in to the conversations n such, yes, but they are expected to abide by the moral code and use this fact only to step in if things start getting too heated to mediate and report concerning things to authorities like specific Ancients, the group senior and/or the Phone Operator Chief
the fact that Innocence leaked the stuff without offering it to either her Chief or her senior, spells some fucking trouble. since she wouldn't be able to reach Moon, she's still expected to at least go to the second oldest, aka Nish. she might get a break from him since he's Going Through It with his closest friend and only eldest sister dying, but she's def gon catch it from the local Chief, whoever that may be
the Chief might as well yell about it in the POG global group chat as a cautionary tale in this post-Mass Ascension time and you bet that Euros is just going to

Was Karna actually good in the source text, I see things about how generous and loyal he was but didn't he also fucking insult Arjuna's wife, a lot? And various other kinds of nasty things?
the real answer is: hes a complex character
he does some really shitty stuff, namely the wife insulting where he calls draupadi a whore for being married to five men and then tells another guy to strip her. Depending on the version this is in repsonse to her having earlier insulted him by saying that she wouldn't marry the son of a suta (him) at her svayamvara and not allowing him to participate, but this is only in some versions. in other versions he just fails the test at the svayamvara and thats why he doesnt get to marry her (i think some also have her say he can't participate on duryodhana's behalf which was why he'd entered in those versions? theres a lot of versions with small variations)
whereas the response on his part in all of them to this perceived insult is to say upon her refusal to come to the dice hall that she can be brought there naked if necessary, and he then insults her upon her attempts to defend herself and instigated the stripping.
hes also one of the guys who was probably the most overtly gunning for conflict throughout the story to my understanding, as there's at least one incident after this where duryodhana, attempting to mess with the pandavas, instead runs afoul of some of their allies and gets imprisoned (karna actually was present during this but leaves, leaving duryodhana behind). arjuna shows up, bails duryo out and dips, and duryodhana is so bummed by this that he considers letting the whole rivalry with the pandavas go-but karna and..i think shakuni show up and are like 'no trust me he was probably doing that bc hes just that much of a bitch you should totally keep trying to kill them'.
in some versions he also offers his own wives alongside other things (like his sons and more generic riches) to any person who can get him the location of arjuna.
that isnt to say he didnt have good qualities and couldnt be a loyal friend and ally, or that the 'protagonist' side didnt have their fair share of times when they did messed up stuff, but to say he was particularly good isnt really accurate. from my understanding he was relatively ambitious and insecure, resentful, combative/hot headed, and was prone to nursing grudges. he also cared a lot about optics, as seen by prioritizing his 'charity' in giving away his armor right before a battle for the sake of his reputation instead of his promise to his friend.
