Commemorative reading for the blog!

Thinking - King of Cups aka Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, inverted; trickery or bad advice, someone who is otherwise an expert is still subject to mistakes or flaws. This has definitely on my mind, seeking instruction or direction to learn and grow. I've found some podcasts that seem reliable and useful, and I've also found some that..... aren't for me. They say even a broken clock is right twice a day, this card says the opposite to me, even the king can be wrong or be unclear or be unhelpful. Always listen, never follow blindly.

Feeling- 9 of cups aka Spring // Mind; comfort, luxury, emotional stability. I am finally starting to feel like my practice has found a path and feel confident that, tho i am by NO MEANS an expert, my opinions valid and useful and worth sharing. Thus the motivation to make this blog

Doing - Ace of Pentacles, aka Wayfarer's Bauble; opportunity, a new venture. I love this deck because it is very literal and straight forward. You're right, deck, I am starting a new blog. Thanks for telling me. Sarcasm aside, i take this as encouragement, that this was a worthwhile use of my time and has potential for growth.

Can something be replaced with something that can't happen? Example: I have an Abyssal Persecutor (I can't win the game) in play, alongside a Jace, Wielder of Mysteries (if I would draw from an empty library, I win instead). What happens if I draw from an empty library? Is the draw replaced but then the win has no effect and the game continues, or do I lose because the replacement could not happen? It looks like the former to me but I'm uncertain. Thank you so much!

An event can indeed be replaced by something that can't happen, but that thing will just not happen and as much of the modified effect as possible will happen. Jace replaces drawing from your empty library with winning the game, but you can't win the game so drawing from your empty library is just replaced with nothing at all. You don't lose since the draw is replaced, though.

It's finally here, gang! Welcome to the Magic Planeswalker Ultimate Bracket! We are gonna see whose ultimate ability (aka the most expensive one) is the favoured among Tumblr!

Now, I thought about it a lot, and here's what I want you to have in your minds for your criteria: what ability is worth your investment? You paid the mana, you waited for however many turns... which ability makes you glad you put in the resources you did to get there?

As for how I selected the entrants, I went to EDHREC and pulled up the 64 top planeswalkers (no flipwalkers, sorry) and ranked them by popularity and used PrintYourBrackets to set up the matchups. It may not be perfect, but dang, I can't argue with those matchups! Really diverse!

Also? You may notice that this is coming out a bit late in the day (sorry east coast peeps). Simply put, I'm a little low energy lately, so... eight at a time this time? ... eight at a time this time.
