Holy boops, I received my birthday gifts from @jennyfair7 yesterday (also known as Boop Day)!!! 😆🔴🟡🔵🟣🐸

OMG, I love the frog & mushroom stuff!!! That keychain is so froggin' cute! My frog plush feels the need for a mushroom cap now (to complete the picture) 😂 Fun Gus thinks the stickers and notepad are extra groovy! 🍄

These boba stickers are the most adorable EVER! My animal boba plushies are HERE for that representation 😂😍

Yum...maple leaf candies! 🍁 So pretty 🤩

Unfortunately Moldy Barry Bones (my only skeleton plush) is in the basement at the moment, so I gathered a few other Halloween plushies to accompany these spoopy socks! Who doesn't love some skeleton yoga? 🤣

Can't go wrong with a cactus card! 🌵 The weather was pretty rainy...but I still had a pleasant dinner at BJ's (I had a white peach boba-rita for the first time!) The strawberry shortcake pizookie was the best part of my meal 🍓🍕🍪🍨

Woooo! @jennyfair7 I received your xmas presents a week ago and several of my Christmas plushies were excited to see what I got! They crowded around to have a good look! 🤩

I opened a few every day like I said I would and I ADORE my presents!!! 🥰 Those mushroom nightlights seem really handy. I'm going to put them in my luggage and take them when I go traveling because hotels don't usually come with nightlights in the bathroom and it would be better than having to turn on the whole bathroom light at night 😆 I'm also curious to try out the Fun Guy fridge deodorizer! I keep a box of baking soda in my fridge currently, but that's not nearly as aesthetically pleasing as a mushroom!! 🍄 (Fun Gus approves of your shroom gifts!)

Meanwhile, my worms obviously approve of your Labyrinth worm pouch! It's so adorable 😍 Your postcards, stickers, and greeting card were pretty and cute! ☺

King Corvid thinks your taste in books is questionable and wants to have a word with you 👀 I think the book is hilarious though 😂

Upon seeing these snacks, my spouse was like, "Wha?? Did she pull these straight outta my childhood?" Apparently, he hasn't had them since the 1990s! I'm eager to try them when I return home from vacation 😋

My personal greatest introduction to a new employee was to say "Check this shit out", drop to the floor, and put my leg around my neck. Except later on it turned out that we'd previously attended the same training course, where I'd rushed in several minutes late with the statement of "I'm sorry I'm late, I had to help a nun catch a bus*!", which had amused the new employee. *(The nun had needed help with the timetables.)

Fanfic writer ask game! ✏️ The first fanfiction you ever wrote? (doesn’t have to be a posted fic) 😊 The fic that you’re the most proud of?

First fanfic... goodness, that would have been a very long time ago! I suppose the first what I would call properly finished fic was one that’s now lost, written back in about 2001, I think. It was a Doctor Who piece in the universe of the Eighth Doctor novels, about the Doctor getting his memory back after destroying Gallifrey and having (unsurprisingly) a very hard time coming to terms with it. It’s a shame I can’t find the disc it must have been saved to as now I’m thinking about it I’d quite like to read it again! The first one I actually posted was The Visitors, which is sort of connected and now all that remains of it.

Fic I’m most proud of... Well, I was very proud to discover the other day that one of my Holmes fics, Jottings from a Doctor’s Journal, has racked up over 90,000 views on ff.net! Proud and very, very surprised, given it’s just a collection of little ficlets that happened to occur to me at different times. It’s difficult really to choose but I suppose my rather epic Phantom fics Beyond the Green Baize Door and its immediate sequel The Garish Light of Day would count; I somehow managed to post every week for more than two years, what was intended to be another collection of random pieces in the vein of Jottings (as the note at the beginning still claims) gradually turning into a retellling of the musical and beyond. If you put the two together it’s the longest thing I’ve ever written; I am still quite amazed that I managed to keep a coherent story going for all that time given I don’t really plan things out!
