“I think I’ll just sketch this concept,” the artist says to themselves, not realizing they’re already domed by the narrative. *Proceeds to spend 10 hrs+ on hyperfixation bullshit*
(Seriously tho I learned so much throughout my process of drawing this!)
This was an idea I had for “One of Us” that will not make it into the fic, just because it doesn’t fit my plans. HOWEVER. Imagining Mystery disguised as Ricky to torment their enemies was too fun and on-brand not to draw. I then got carried away with said “sketch” (the last panel), made it MAGNIFICENT, and then created the rest of the comic to give it context.

Idk how to describe it, but George Emerson and Mr Darcy are on exact opposite ends of romantic lead spectrum yet both possess insane amounts of autistic swag just executed in wildly different ways

The fabulous Judi Dench performs “Folies Bergere” in the film version of the Broadway musical Nine.
Nine is a 2009 romantic musical drama film directed and co-produced by Rob Marshall from a screenplay by Michael Tolkin and Anthony Minghella, based on the stage musical of the same name, which in turn is based on the 1963 film 8½. In addition to songs from the stage musical, all written by Maury Yeston, the film has three original songs, also written by Yeston (Take It All, Cinema Italiano and Guarda La Luna). The ensemble cast consists of Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penélope Cruz, Judi Dench, Fergie, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman, and Sophia Loren.

2023 Writer Wrap Up
Instead of writing tonight, I spent a stupid amount of time on this.
I know I already made an AO3 wrap, but it was before December and I couldn't find it to edit it. Oh well. Updated.
I was surprised to see that only 30% of my fics were mature or explicit, it feels like a lot more when I'm writing them.
