Sceptile
Known to some as guardians of the forest, Sceptile are rare though powerful creatures who fiercely defend their territory. They feed on both small and large prey, but also gather energy through photosynthesis. While slower than their juvenile relatives, they are still fast enough to chase down most foes.

Inktober Day 29: Favorite Pokemon #3, Sceptile!
Many starter pokemon have been on this list, but at last we come to my favorite one overall, generation 3′s grass starter, Sceptile. My starter of choice in my Alpha Sappire playthrough, Sceptile is pretty unique for being a grass type that plays as an offensive speedster, in contrast to the bulky supporter rolls you see with most other grass types. This plant lizard has a vast movepool in both its physical and special attacks, allowing it to have some great type coverage. What’s more, its mega evolution allows Sceptile to supercharge its offensive prowess, whilst also gaining the dragon type (side note, grass and dragon happen to be my two favorite types). But my favorite attribute about Sceptile would have to be its design. Having a pokemon based off of a leaf-tiled gecko (geckos being my favorite animals) was already going to appeal to me, but giving it bladed leaves on its arms and having it run in a dinosaur-like posture? Yeah, that’s a recipe for a pokemon I’m going to love.

With all the ideas and objectives of updating existing AG episodes and adding freshly new episodes, all that can be done by the Japanese; those that made the anime. OK HOLD ON-
Tumblr media
This was posted by Anipoke_PR this morning and like um... does this mean there IS an Okido Lab scene in first ep too?
MEANING SHIGERU IS FIRST EP AND THEY JUST DON'T ADVERTISE IT?????
I am confused, where does the Azurill scene come in the- wait what if Satoshi brings in these 'mon and that's where Azurill comes in asjfgfshgfhfsgsffs.
I guess Shigeru in first ep is a possibility now.
EDIT: got suggested Satoshi might have bit of rotation going on and the Azurill scene is actually from Kasumi's ep so yeh. I'm buying it now. All is coming clear now-

Remember when Satoshi vs Citron and Satoshi-Gekkōga vs Mega Jukain happened and we all thought the anime was at its peak back then? Well screw this, right now I'm just... speechless.
Everything Sun&Moon is about, perfectly depicted in this last battle. It's the greatest battle we've seen in the Pokémon anime, surpassing Satoshi vs Shinji, change my mind!
Animators: what's the drawing limit for this episode?
OLM: Yes.
