An important discovery
When my sister was a teenager, she had a thing for Asian music and movies and stuff like that, mainly Japanese. Well, one of her favourite movies back then was Cutie Honey(2004).
Last weekend, I tried to find it on amazon prime, and watched it. I could also still remember it a little, from when I watched it when I was younger. The day after, I watched it again with my sister.
While we were watching, she was looking up the actors of the movie, how they look like today, how everyone would do.
She looked at the actor who played Seiji, bcs I said he looks kinda cute and she said, that he doesn't anymore(even tho he does, in my eyes) . Then she went to look at pictures and some seconds later bursted out laughing.
I was so curious as to why she would react that way, til she showed me the pictures and after I saw that the other person was Nijiro, she explained it to me. "At first I thought, they have a picture together, that's kinda cool" and when she looked at the name of the picture, she was like "hey, doesn't he have a different first name?" because the name under the picture was 'Jun Murakami' til she realised, that Jun must be Nijiro's dad. xD
So like, this man (pic from: Cutie Honey 2004)
Is this cute bean's father.
And for the rest of the movie, I actually noticed the resemblance. Because when I watched the movie a day before, I just didn't bother think if he looked similar to anyone.
In a joking manner, I replied "Hey back then you liked his dad and now you like him" xD
I love this, lol.

First Love (2019)
Summary: Up-and-coming boxer Leo (Masataka Kubota) and call girl Yuri (Sakurako Konishi) get roped into a drug-smuggling scheme.
Energetic, comedic, bloody, and wildly entertaining, even if the romance between two leads isn't as convicing as intended.
Rating: 3.75/5

please please please infodump to me about grasshopper i crave knowledge
GLADLY.
This is just mostly the main people you would need to know just for the main plot...and whoever else I want to add.
The Beginners Guide to M!Grasshopper/Three Assassins.
Grasshopper or グラスホッパ- is a 2015 (Released on November 7th 2015) japanese thriller revenge movie based on Three Assassins by Kotaro Isaka, directed by Tomoyuki Takimoto.
SEMI-SPOILERS PAST THIS POINT!
Characters:
Suzuki (Toma Ikuta)
Suzuki is a former middle school teacher (he teaches Science in the movie while in the book he teaches Math) whose fiancee was killed by a man who took drugs and drove into a crosswalk during Halloween. He wants to take revenge on the killer so he joins a underground crime business in order to do so.
~
Yuriko (Haru)
Suzuki's Fiancee who was on her way to get her engagement ring resized, got killed on Halloween because she threw a kid out of the way of the car.
~
Kujira/The Whale (Tadanobu Asano)
Kujira (Also known as The Whale) is a Contract Killer who makes people die via suicide which adds them to the collection of "sinners" he sees when he starts seeing "ghosts". He's my favorite out of all of them but you will probably not like what he does to the rest of the cast-
~
Semi/The Cicada (Ryosuke Yamada)
Semi is a contract killer working for his b- partner Iwanishi. He gets a ringing in his ears which only stops when he kills people or listens to Iwanishi talk. He loves Shijimi bubbles and watches them constantly through the movie, to him it's a symbol of life in someone, "seeing their bubbles".
~
Iwanishi (Jun Murakami)
Iwanishi is Semi's boss/handler book wise, movie-wise they work for Terahera btw. Iwanishi is a contract killer who partners up with Semi to kill others. He loves Jack Crispin and listens to the vinyl all the time, quotes him a lot too. Aw he was so. Cute.
~
Asagao/The Pusher (Hidetaka Yoshioka)
I can't say anything about him without spoiling the whole movie so lets just say HOT MAN. HOT SOFT MAN. SHIP HIM WITH SUZUKI. YEP.
That's all for now!
Thank youuuuu
Credits to these for screengrabs and the link to watch the movie (in low quality but it works):

Uketsuke Komachi "Reception Komachi" (1985) by Shigeki Toyama, Jun Toyoda, Minoru Sashida, Hiroshi Sasaki, and Genkyu Ishii, Namco, Tokyo, Japan.
When Namco's headquarters was relocated to Yaguchi, Ota-ku, Tokyo in 1985, President Masaya Nakamura said "Make the receptionist a robot." Consequently, receptionist robot Uketsuke Komachi (受付小町?) was assigned to the reception desk in Namco's headquarters. She also appears in Namco games, including the six Namco Museum games. When Namco merged with Bandai to become Bandai Namco, she relocated to Shinagawa.
"I headed to the office of Bandai Namco Studio in Monzennakacho. When you go through the automatic door at the entrance of the building, you will hear a woman's voice saying, "Good morning." It's a synthetic voice that reminds me of Hatsune Miku. ... The human-shaped reception robot dyed in gorgeous cherry blossom color was smiling gently. She is a 31-year-old veteran robot, "Reception Komachi." She doesn't have eyes or a nose, and her sleek, smooth design is vaguely similar to Pepper's. Although she cannot walk, she can move her torso and arms, and can also bow. ... Each time she greets a visitor, she bows and says, "Good morning." When a visitor arrives, she directs them to an extension phone, saying, "Welcome. Reception is available on this screen." If you look closely, you can see that her mouth moves depending on what she says." – Namco President: "Make the reception a robot" Legendary creators talk about the recklessness of 30 years ago, Manjun Murakami, ITmedia.

the period from thanks to news is jazz season. I'm going to make you listen to jazz fusion albums I like.
this one has a cool owl on the cover
I also don't like how a lot of these albums just have the composer's name and not any of the rest of the musicians on the project, so I'm gonna stick the full credits from rateyourmusic under a read more
