Been binge watching Camp Cretaceous and one thing has been bothering me since watching the episode showing us Kenji's penthouse.

Why didn't their parents make a effort to find them right away? Even their bodies? I mean we are to believe the parents just accepted their kids were dead and gone? Even after the camp counselors believed they were alive.

Epecially Kenji's dad? Sure he's being portrayed as a absentee father but even a father like that wouldn't just abandon his heir like that. Epecially for financial reasons. It's clear by everything at the penthouse that he had resources.

So why isn't he hiring a fleet of helicopters to scour the island for his son?

It's just unrealistic that the parents didn't demand a rescue team to return to the island for them right away.
