True story. And here's the thing: drama is TIRING. It's completely exhausting and it drains the energy from you and starts to change your attitude and mindset in a negative way. Who has time for that kind of change? Believe me, as a single parent I have more than enough going on in my life and don't need to add any drama into the mix. Plus, it's a part of having personal growth and maturity. Just don't engage the drama. Did you know that you don't HAVE to respond to drama and negativity? Just because you receive an invitation to it, it doesn't mean you have to respond. You can CHOOSE to walk away, and how freeing is that?! It is the most freeing thing in the world, y'all. So when others invite you to participate in their negativity, choose to walk away from the invitation to drama. Choose to walk away from the fights and the manipulation.
