Stream It Or Skip It: ‘The Visitor’ on Amazon Prime Video, Another Small Budget Blumhouse Production Aiming For Big Scares
The Visitor (now on Amazon Prime Video) is another in a long line of Blumhouse horror-thriller cheapies, and I don’t say that to throw shade – some of those cheapies ended up being quite good, Nocturne, The Vigil and most recently M3gan among them. This one stars Game of Thrones and Iron Fist star Finn Jones and Mortal Kombat veteran Jessica McNamee as a couple who move into an old house in a…

It was a frustrating draft. Juan Soto and Corbin Burnes were the marquee players and garnered huge bids of $51 and $39. A part of me wishes I had taken Burnes, but I can’t pay $40 for a starting pitcher. I just can’t.

Ano kayang pwedeng isulat?

Lang's Bowlarama, A New Providence Hotspot!
Located on 225 Niantic Ave, Cranston RI, Lang's Bowlarama is a hip and affordable place to spend your Saturday nights with friends & family!
Of course when the weekend arrives as finals are coming to an end, some students (myself) just want a break from studying to relax and hang with friends! Luckily for me, I found an amazing spot to spend my Saturday night (and future ones to come,) Lang's Bowlarama!
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays its college night! And for only $15 all college students get unlimited bowling, which was very useful information for my friends and I. However, since I came to the bowling alley on a Saturday night, I paid $15 for 1 hour of "ATOMIC BOWLING." There were lights, lasers, and great music. The atmosphere was very lively and everyone was just having a fantastic time. Lang's also had a large selection of traditional bowling alley food such as: pizza, burgers, salads, and fries. My favorite option, however, was the spiked cold brews that they had, I could not resist their famous "Thin Mint" flavor. Overall, the food was great and affordable, making Lang's a great place for college students looking for a low-budget night of fun.
I would definitely recommend checking out Lang's Bowlarama if you're a college student or family looking for an affordable night of fun. The atmosphere is great for all ages, making it a great place to spend time with relatives this coming holiday season. Just make sure you're energized and ready to go, because you will be exhausted at the end of the night! Check out their website www.Langsbowlarama.com for more information, until then see you soon!
P.S. Check out the second episode of my podcast attached above! Where I review my night at Lang's for those who prefer listening over reading.

https://yg-life.com/archives/179576?lang=ko

Quick-bite reviews: The Visitor (2022) dir. Justin P. Lange
A newlywed couple move to the wife’s father’s willed estate, but her UK-born husband feels uneasy about the small town of Briar Glen, an uneasiness that intensifies when he begins to find a series of paintings and photos depicting a figure called ‘The Visitor’ who bears an uncanny resemblance to him...
I think the worst sin a movie can commit is to be bad in a really boring way, and this fits the bill. Flat filming and performances, writing that belies a lot of insecurity up until the ludicrous third act when it seems to gain some unearned confidence. The ‘jokes’ are in that vein of ‘ugh it’s so dumb that I’m making a movie, right guys?’ and it doesn’t trust its audience to understand anything that isn’t stated directly. Characters will see something and share a meaningful look, but then also explain exactly what’s happening onscreen and how they feel about it. Funniest detail is that the inciting incident is all about how the first painting this guy finds looks exactly like him and.. no it doesn’t? Most baffling detail is that it’s explained that The Visitor’s appearance corresponds to the worst moments in human history, but unlike the Illumination Minions movie it isn’t tactful about what those worst moments are as he’s photoshopped into things like, uh, the Cambodian genocide and Belgian occupation of the DRC. I thought I knew where it was all going but it turned out to be going in a much stupider direction, so at least something surprised me.
Buy a ticket? Hard pass
