Fic Idea: Post-Game Political Drama/Existential Horror exploring Kameo adjusting to the changes in her role and what it means. Aka Kameo will be Queen, and it's a horror story.

Featuring: the reality of Kameo needing to have an Heir has soon as possible, discussion of arranged marriages, and the creeping realization that her life belongs to her kingdom now.

In which Kameo comes to turns with the horror of what her mother has done to her, the role Theena has trapped her in, and how little she wants it.

Kameo: Elements of Power is one of my favourite games.

You play as a flying, magical, shapeshifting, elf, who is also a pretty teenaged girl and you viciously kill your enemies in an array of brutally creative ways with occasional pauses to stare at the beautiful scenery, coo over your Elemental Sprites and poke around to figure out more of the lore.

My question after playing was (besides from all the thoughts about LORE and CHARACTERISATION and WHAT IF) why aren’t more games like this?

Anyone still play/remember this game? I still love it, personally <3 It was so different from all the other games out there. I had a lot of fun playing it.

Many, many, many, many, many hours later, my capstone project is complete: a mall full of my favorite guys!

Not gonna wax too poetic about my creative process because that's what the artist statement is for, but I will say that this was the most involved, ambitious, and creatively fulfilling piece I've ever gotten to do. OCs, cartoon characters, video game protagonists, DnD player characters, we've got it all here! Each of these characters is special to me in one way or another, and I had an absolute blast cramming them all into one canvas.

Tumblr got nowhere near displaying the full image so I had to condense the hell out of it to get the whole thing on there. If you want a closeup of any character in full resolution just sent me an ask! I would love to hold my little guys up to the camera for you :)

And yeah I'm gonna tag every piece of media represented. If you're seeing this in your tag, one of your fellas is in here somewhere!

I think that if you wanted to do a crossover between Kameo: Elements of Power and any of the Fable games, that the settings could feasibly be different continents on the same world.

Kameo: Elements of Power hits basically all of my ‘this is a cool game boxes’: it is fantasy based, has interesting lore, you can run around exploring the map, you fight things, your character has magic, it is pretty to look at, it has lots of female characters who are interesting, the player character is female, it has an interesting story line, the player character has magic/is an elf/has wings, you can ride animals, it can be played either single player or two player and you can kill your enemies in a number of interesting, pretty, creative and brutal ways.

It is fantastic but hardly anyone knows about it and that is a terrible shame.

Kameo is honestly such a tragically under appreciated game. Like the visual are gorgeous, the soundtrack is boppin, the lore is so interesting, and just the overall look and feel of the game is simply enchanting.

If you haven’t played it yet I HIGHLY recommend you do.

From day one till now it has been, and continues to be, one of my favourites. Often times it’s my #1 pick.
