I’d say that these are the series I’m constantly rereading and have several volumes of in my collection (I’m still building it but fruits basket and inuyasha volumes are really hard to find where I am tbh so I’ve mostly read online what I don’t physically own yet) but also honourable mention to Sailor Moon, Yona of the Dawn, Black Bird by Kanoko Sakurakoji, Peach Girl, Futari de Koi wo Suru Riyuu (does this manga have an English title?? I don’t even know but it’s cute af), and lastly In the Clear Moonlit Dusk by Yamamori Mika amongst many others

I know you said you’re behind on manga but which ones do you like? any you recommend?
I'm more than happy to provide some manga recommendations, Anon (:
Since there are a multitude of manga series I am not caught up with yet (either reading or owning the physical manga volumes), I will list a few series that I am caught up with/own the completed collection or have read in it's entirety online. I'll also include little descriptions, though I apologize if they aren't explained very well... I don't want to accidentally reveal any spoilers lol
Recommendation #1 :
Black Bird by Kanoko Sakurakoji
Black Bird was one of the first manga series I seriously got into. It tells the story of a human girl who can see supernatural beings and ultimately gets pulled into the world of yokai, more specifically tengu. If you enjoy Romance and Fantasy/Supernatural manga, then I highly recommend Black Bird. It's 18 Volumes long, all of which can be found on Barnes&Noble, RightStuf, and probably a few other sites.
Recommendation #2 :
The Way of the Househusband by Kousuke Oono
What can I say about this manga? To put it simply... I love it. The Way of the Househusband follows an ex-yakuza member named Tatsu in his "normal" daily life as a househusband. There are lots of misunderstandings between Tatsu and the people he interacts with due to his intimidating appearance, mannerisms, and way with words. But that's where the comedic value comes into play. So if you enjoy Comedy and Slice of Life, then I recommend this series. It's still ongoing and can be found on a lot of sites as well as in-person at Barnes&Noble and Books-A-Million (from my experience).
Recommendation #3
My Hero Academia by Kohei Horikoshi
This is, without a doubt, my absolute favorite series ever. Both the anime and manga are complete masterpieces, and that's coming from someone who initially went into My Hero Academia thinking "I'm not gonna like this at all". But oh boy, was I wrong. For those who aren't familiar, this series is set in a world where a large majority of the world's population has developed superpowers called "quirks". One boy, Izuku Midoriya, dreams of becoming a hero despite being born quirkless. This series follows his journey, as well as a bunch of other characters, events, and battles that all become intertwined with one another. If you enjoy Action and Superhero stories, then there is a very high possibility that My Hero Academia will be right up your alley. This series is also still ongoing, and can be found many places both online and in-store.
Recommendation #4
Black Butler by Yana Toboso
I used to be hopelessly obsessed with Black Butler when I was younger, so this series will forever hold a special place in my heart. It tells the story of a young boy named Ciel who forms a contract with a demon, one of which poses as the boy's butler. In exchange for his soul, Sebastian the demon butler carries out his duties while simultaneously aiming to fulfill Ciel's desire for revenge against the people who wronged him. If you enjoy Dark Fantasy/Supernatural series as well as extremely attractive demon boys, then I highly recommend Black Butler. From my knowledge, the manga series is still ongoing. It can be found online and in stores, just like Recommendations #2 and #3.
Recommendation #5
Pandora Hearts by Jun Mochizuki
Pandora Hearts is another series I had gotten into pretty early on in my collecting journey. It follows the story of Oz, a boy who is forced into a supernatural world called Abyss after being told that his existence is a sin. While there, he makes a contract with a creature/being called a Chain before escaping from Abyss. But when they return, 10 years have seemingly passed by suddenly. Wanting to understand why his existence is supposedly a sin, he teams up with a few other characters and gets involved in a series of events. Personally, I love Jun Mochizuki's artwork in this manga (another wonderful series she created is The Case Study of Vanitas, which I have every intention on collecting the manga ASAP). If you enjoy Adventure, Dark Fantasy, and Mystery, then I recommend Pandora Hearts. This series has a total of 25 volumes, which can all be found on RightStuf and I assume a few other sites.
Honorable Mention :
Killing Stalking by Koogi
While this is technically not a manga, but rather a manhwa.... Killing Stalking is my ultimate guilty pleasure. It tells the story of a troubled young man named Yoon Bum who develops an infatuation with another guy named Oh Sangwoo. After breaking into his home, Yoon Bum discovers that Sangwoo isn't the nice guy he originally thought him to be. I will say that Killing Stalking isn't for the faint of heart or for people who are easily triggered. This series has an abundance of violence, gore, torture, murder, depictions of abusive and manipulative relationship dynamics, and other content that can be extremely disturbing to people such as rape/molestation and suicide/mentions of suicide attempts/self harm. So proceed with caution. But if Horror and Psychological Thrillers are your cup of tea (two of my top favorite genres, which is why I like this series so much), then Killing Stalking may be worth diving into. It has a total of 67 Chapters which can be found online. But to both my surprise and happiness, I found out a few weeks ago that Killing Stalking is officially being published and released in physical English volumes. Volume 1 is currently out (it comes with a dark yet beautiful mini poster of Yoon Bum that I can't stop looking at <3) and a few other Volumes are available for pre-order online.
