Sibling Showdown!!!
Tumblr media
This showdown consists of 64 sibling sets facing off against each other, as well as a few one-off polls of sets who didn’t make the actual bracket but who I wanted to include in some capacity.  Polls will last a week.  Round One of section A will go live on April 16, with section B going live the day after, section C the day after that, and section D the day after that.
Propaganda is allowed!  I just ask that it be kept positive.  Argue for your faves instead of against someone else’s.  Every sibling set who made it in the showdown is there because someone wanted them to be, so keep it kind.
Will the winners be the siblings that love each other the most?  That are most capable of killing other sibling groups with their bare hands?  That have the most sibling swag?  It’s up to you to decide!  You get to choose the manner and parameters you judge each sibling set for.

Okay but literally what if Merlin hadn’t told Arthur that Morgause was lying in ‘Sins of the Father’ (2x08) and he killed Uther, setting it up so that the primary antagonists of the back half of the show were Camelot’s nobility pushing back at a rule founded on regicide and the legalization of magic??
Bonus points if Arthur feels conflicted after the act since y’know he literally ordered the slaughter of a camp of druids 2 eps prior and no one shakes off a lifetime of prejudice and violence that quickly, but since he is now publicly Allied With Magic (since the genocide of magical people is his sole justification for patricide) Merlin and Morgana have very real leverage with which to pressure him into actually enforcing the protections he has nominally agreed to (by which I mean not just going ‘hey magic is okay now’ while turning a blind eye to lynchings bc it’s technically not his knights that are doing it).
There would still be plenty of plot/conflict to work with, so it’s not like it would wrap up the narrative too quickly, but it wouldn’t be so fucking,, Like That y’know?? Also it would mean getting into the politics of all the ppl whom the narrative skirts around (ex. would Gwaine still join the knights? He obv hates nobles and adores Merlin but he also spouts some significant anti-magic rhetoric so?? And what about Gwen, who never seems particularly hostile to magic but does co-rule a kingdom that continues to persecute sorcerers for several years— what would she do? What would Elyan?)
Other benefits of this AU are that the shift is before Freya, Balinor, and Lancelot’s deaths, so any of them have a shot at making it out alive. Plus potential for that sweet sweet Merlin-Mordred friendship (I still think Kara should show up and go off about how monarchy is still shit actually and the life or death of an entire race of people shouldn’t be dependent on there being a Nice Guy In Charge but maybe she doesn’t get fucking executed this time)

IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Read Through-Part 7
Tumblr media
Writer - Brian Lynch Artist - Andy Kuhn Colors - Bill Crabtree The Dresden Heist
The second of the Micro Series features Michelangelo on his own on New Years Eve looking for some fun,. He soon finds it at a masquerade party in which he winds up becoming entangled with a few crooks intent on stealing a valuable jewel. He manages to somewhat foil their plot, but the ending is rather vague and to be honest, I am not sure he did the right thing. I hope that the ending plot thread is brought up again, as I would like to see the character of Kara gain and would like to know if she was telling the truth.
While not as much fun as the previous micro issue, Lynch still manages to keep me captivated in this one off story and the art by Kuhn was great. One of the things I am enjoying about this series as a whole so far is the fact that they manage to take the time to let us know what time of year it is which I hope is something that continues on.
My favorite moment from this issue was Michelangelo entering the party.
