Karen grabs transgender man’s genitals in public to “confirm” his gender
Tumblr media
Karen Waldron is hereby awarded the Transgender World’s 2022 Transphobic Karen Award for for grabbing a transgender man’s genitals after asking about his gender.
The 53-year-old woman was convicted of sexual assault after an attack that took place at Yates Cheltenham, a sports bar in southwest England.
LGBTNation reports:
In court, Waldron said she had been enjoying a night out with friends and was trying to protect a friend who had found the trans man attractive.
Despite her excuses, the court found her guilty and asked her to pay a legal fine of £300 ($368.15 U.S.).
The man she groped says he started transitioning in 2016.
Congratulations, Karen. The award is well deserved.

Female characters are nowdays all terrible and lack proper characterization
All of them? Ummmm.. no.
I know we mostly spend time criticizing the bad ones so... time for the good ones.
How about all the women in Black Panther? Nakia is fantastic and she's the one who finally convinces T'Challa to open Wakanda to the world. Shuri is great and her inventions quite literally save her brother's life more than once. Queen Ramonda is everything you want out of a queen. Okoye is a magnificent warrior and fiercely loyal to her home. They all have their own personalities, arcs and agency.
And Black Widow? Imo it's the best iteration of Natasha, Yelena's characterization is on point, they handled the whole morally grey part of them and Melina pretty well (I still think Melina and Alexei got away with their crimes way too easily but that's another story).
The GoTG movies have Gamora and Nebula, their story and characterization are absolutely brilliant.
I've spoken many times here of Captain Marvel. Carol has an arc, she's funny and kind and she enjoys using her powers so much, love that about her. The movie is not only about her though, Maria steals the show in every scene she's in, Mar-Vell had her own arc and Monica was great despite having a short role (she's AWESOME in WandaVision tho!). Speaking of that, Wanda in her series? Magnificent, absolutely magnificent. Darcy too.
In AoS, you can't tell me Daisy isn't an excellent character, and what about Jemma and Yo-yo and May and Aida? Aida is one of the best villains in Marvel! And in Agent Carter? Whitney Frost stole the spotlight from Mrs Brexit and did so wonderfully.
I'm yet to watch S3 of Daredevil but so far Karen and Elektra are absolutely delightful characters, I'd like to add Claire to this too because despite her not showing up much she's still a valuable character in the show. Even Marci!
Also, Christine! Especially after how Waldron almost ruined her in MoM, her role in DS1 portrayed her as a self-respecting woman who takes no bullshit from anybody, she's great.
Not to forget Jane, especially in the first two movies. I enjoyed a few things from her in L&T too, especially the beginning when she ruined her book so she could explain wormholes to the other chemo patient. I love it when she gets so excited talking about science lol
And Layla? Ooooooh she was charming waaaaay before she became an avatar. Can't believe I almost forgot Jessica Jones... that series is terrific and so is she.
My point is I'm sure I'm missing a lot and you don't need to agree with all this but there are a lot of impressive female characters out there who may not get all the praise they're due because we're usually looking at the terrible ones, and this is only Marvel-related. I know the Sylvies of the world tend to frustrate a big chunk of the audience but don't let Waldron have you believe all female characters are terrible... a lot of them are marvelous!

Title: Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1989)
Vote: 4.5/10
Although it manages to make me smile in some scenes, this movie remains one of the worst I've ever seen. It has a storyline that miraculously stands and actors that make you want to be blind and deaf.

Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death (1989)
"Are you saying the future of women is in cannibalism?"
"Face up to the truth! This is a war! A war between men and women. Anything short of cannibalism is just beating around the bush."

They need Waldron to be legit before the hot mess that DS is
McKimberley, we already told you, he already has a effing Emmy. He doesn't need to prove to the industry to be legit, they already think he is. Log off from twitter and, I don't know, go shopping with your mother Karen. Maybe you can help her speaking to the manager because she can't have a dress for free, just because she says so

It’s official!
On Saturday, Camilla Luddington – who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on the long-running ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy – and longtime boyfriend Matthew Alan – who most recently starred in Hulu’s Castle Rock – tied the knot in an intimate California coastline ceremony in front of 70 of their closest friends and family (including former Grey’s costar Jessica Capshaw!), PEOPLE exclusively confirms.
“The thing that I always said to Matt is that I just wanted to see the ocean,” the actress, 35, star exclusively told PEOPLE prior to the wedding. “That was my one thing.”
“We’re just ready to do the damn thing,” she added. “We kind of already feel married because we have a 2-year-old. But there’s something romantic to us about solidifying that family unit by having the ceremony and actually having Hayden present. To be honest, I’m just excited to get into that new normal of married life.”
Their wedding planner, Karen Waldron of Ampersand Entertainment Light, tells PEOPLE, “The couple wanted romantic elegance with lots of natural elements, set against crisp white walls mixed with wood tables, hanging rattan light fixtures, an abundance of white and green floral, that kept it beautifully classic and fresh,” adding, “Touches of gold accents were mixed into the tables for just that splash of glam.”
The bride, who wore a stunning couture gown by Mira Zwillinger with handmade embroidery, walked down the aisle to The Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition – a song that holds a special meaning to the couple.
“In 2008 we went to a Temper Trap concert together,” she said. “It was our first date!”
The English actress, who has done voice work as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video games, revealed to her followers in 2017 that she and her beau welcomed their daughter, Hayden, into the world.
“We have a new great love in our lives… our sweet baby girl…Hayden,” the new mom captioned a black-and-white clip of the pair with the newborn.
And in January 2018, the couple announced that they were engaged.
“Sooo this happened on New Year’s Eve,” Luddington, 34, captioned three photos that showcased her diamond engagement ring.
“I’m not sure I even let Matt get through his proposal before I started yelling YES YES YES!! Of course it was a yes!” she wrote and quipped that their daughter, gave her stamp of approval: “Also… Hayden approves.. 😉 💍✨✨✨.“

Thank you to Vincent, Karen and the team at Fotokino and le Signe for inviting me to participate, and show my work in this incredible new space.
