I'm here to request for a Mr Ken Lemmons, cause I believe he deserves some attention (best engineer at 19 and all!) Could you write something maybe about how he is as a married man, being married young, maybe how they met and decided to be married at 19, how he treats his lady (OC) and how OC deals with being a young wife with a husband who's away at war (maybe even a reunion scene👀).

Well Ken Lemmons is a REAL wife guy and cheating is not even something that computes in his love-struck little mind (I’m side-eying Crosby for being a cheating wife guy haha)

-I think for him to be married so young (he’s only 19 after all), it means that he either met you in his first year of university, in High School, or you’ve known each other your entire lives :)

-Now considering how young he is when he’s in Europe, it’s safe to say that the actual engagement was a short one and that the marriage didn’t get all that much attention before he left

-And his letters are the best part of your week (especially the ones that make you blush because he’s going on about how he wants to see you pregnant and have his children haha)

-But either way, nothing would quite compare to the way you and Ken feel when the war is over and he arrives home

-He manages to hold it together until you’re sprinting at him full force to try and hug him….and then he’s crying and kissing you and it’s the sweetest thing ever

HEADCANON: Ken’s got crushes on EVERYBODY, because you know, he works on their planes all the time, knows them like the back of his hand, and all the guys know that he’s down bad for pretty much every flyboy, so they heap affection on him. They all love their ground crew chief with all their hearts.

OH MY GOD YES! YOU GET IT!

He's honestly like a little wife to all of them, you know. He doesn't get to go on any of the missions but he's always waiting when they get back, immediately at their side, ready to fix their ships to make sure they're safe for the next one.

It's hard for him to see all the men he's got a crush on coming back injured, or missing, or-

Well, he tries not to think on it, tries to be grateful for those he still has.

They worship him, ruffling his hair, swinging their arm around him, pulling him to them. Sometimes the groups will hoist him up if he's done something particularly impressive or tough. He'll beam, flushing from all the attention, from all the contact.

He's like a little puppy dog, following them around when they're out on base, hoping they'll come visit him, tail practically wagging the moment he spots company.

He gets bashful when they compliment his efforts, knowing it's because he tries his best, but still unable to handle people calling him out on his worth because it gets him so flustered.

They have pet names for him, a lot of the boys will be like: "Oh where's my sweetheart?" "Where's my little Kenny?" "C'mere darlin, did you miss me?" Etc etc

It's meant to just be playful, but it has a real reaction on him. He thinks about it when he goes to sleep, feels how his cheeks warm, already planning out what he'll say in return the next time someone says something like that to him. "Honey, welcome home!" The idea of saying that has him pressing his cheek into his pillow, picturing one of the soldiers leaning down, sweeping him up into his arms like a bride.

He groans from the thought, hating himself for how hot it makes him feel inside his clothes, and then-

🍋: Of course you would, love. Here are some cute little Kenny things I came up with. This has been a busy weekend for me but I ended up more inspired than I thought! I hope you enjoy.

You and Ken Lemmons are true highschool sweethearts, meeting on the first day of freshman year and not mustering up the courage to admit your feelings for eachother until the last day of school before spring break

It was a beautiful day in the local park, only about an hour after the final bell rung, freeing you from responsibility for the next two weeks

You two walked hand in hand, a gesture that has become second nature as you have done it many plenty of times before, making your way down the rocky stone path

After sitting down on the grass together in a comfortable and beautiful silence, the only sounds being the noises of soft nature, Kenny tucks a piece of hair behind your ear

You noticed how his usually steady hands shook in nervousness while his finger glided down the side of your ear and as you contemplated the specific reason why that may be, his pretty face started to come closer to yours

His eyes flutter closed and he kisses you

It’s something both of you have dreamed about, a scenario rehearsed and repeated in both of your young minds hundreds of times while zoning out in class, your teacher droning on about a new math problem

The kiss was slow and gentle, his lips softer than the blanket of green grass sitting underneath your two bodies

Some nosy individuals had doubts on how such a young, newborn marriage would last due to such a long distance and so much time apart

It takes the same amount of love, dedication, and hard work that reminds Kenny of his time in Thorpe Abbotts

They all have his pretty smile and his unwavering determination

They’re natural born problem solvers and teamworkers, working together to create the most elaborate pillow forts and interesting inventions

He helps them with school projects. The school science fair? The Lemmons children win every year. Whether it be a homemade volcano or potato light bulb, a bunch of soft blue ribbons and shiny gold trophies collect over the years.

He also builds trains models for himself and the littles

Every December there is a train making its way around the Christmas tree, tracks sitting comfortably on the hem of the red and green skirt

Kenny also does all the yard work

Mowing the lawn, raking the leaves, you name it

Whenever he rakes leaves, he gathers them into a giant pile for the kids to jump in

It doesn’t matter one bit to him that he has to rake it all up again at the end of their activity, his children’s smiles make all the work worth it

You want a new shed? A greenhouse? A chicken coop? If you bring it up dismissively over breakfast, it will be built and completed by the end of the day

Imagine bringing him a glass of cold lemonade, your sundress flowing behind you as you walk over to him

Ahhh, I'm so glad you liked that fic! I have so many thoughts about them, they're just two gorgeous competent, curly-haired sweethearts. I think they'd have fun together.

4. Which one is more protective? Who needs to be ‘protected’?

If you ask either one of them, they will say the other is more protective and they will also say the other needs to be protected more.

Ken thinks Rosie's far too selfless and risks himself beyond the point of what is reasonable and he will get up in arms against anyone he even remotely thinks is taking advantage of Rosie in that way. There's not always something he can directly do about it - there is rank to consider after all - which Ken finds very frustrating.

On the flipside, Rosie also thinks Ken pushes himself beyond the point of what's reasonable, but protecting him more takes the form of protecting him from himself - he will force the issue of a break or a meal.

Outside of their work, if it's a physical threat, I think they're both protective of each other in physically different ways. I think Ken is quicker to square up to a potential threat, though he'll wait to make sure what he does is the right thing, but Rosie's more likely to go straight to knocking it out after assessing the situation. It's like, defensive versus decisive, but mutually assuming the other one is the one that needs to be looked after.

They are both very adamant in their belief that *they* are the caretaker in the relationship.

Oh Nonny, Nonny….🤭 I do have a few thoughts on the matter!

Surgery is complete and I am now just trying to distract from the pain by catching up on requests :) Feel free to keep sending in requests to keep me busy or distracted though haha! Cut for length, spice under the cut:

-Ken Lemmons has a sweet soul of devotion and focus....so your sex drive being particularly high and you being turned on by him simply doing his job? He's wholly unprepared for it

-Which is not to say that he doesn't enjoy it and have a ton of fun with that

-But the surprise on his face is real when you're yanking him into some plane or into a supply closet or whisking him away in a jeep for some alone time

-He's a blushing mess of hormones but he's not stupid and he's not about to say no to you haha

-Now when it comes to having an insatiable sex drive/high libido? That's something he can get on board with and finds a lot of confidence and pleasure in. There's something particularly satisfying to him knowing that you can go for several relentless rounds and still need and want more.

-Those times where the two of you are sneaking into a plane? Absolutely had the lead-up of making out or doing some sort of sexual act against the plane in the first place, but then the sneaking into the planes is particularly thrilling to him

-Soft dom! Ken Lemmons? Absolutely.

-We all know that he's insanely talented with his hands and his mind works fast

John and Gale struggled with fertility for years, the first few times were extra hard. Gale was living alone on an air force base while John was deployed. They were young and hadn’t even been married a full year.

Around week eight of Gales pregnancy and Johns first tour, Gale sends him a letter with the photos of the sonogram. theoretically, he could've told him over email or Skype. But it just didn't seem like something he could fathom saying out loud if this wasn't something John wanted.

Curt can attest to the actual tears John shed after tearing open the letter, he was so excited. He spent the next month blabbing about how excited he was to be a dad. He would blab in the fighter jets during missions about what he was going to name their kid. John literally talked about being a dad 24/7.

Then he got the heartbreaking email then call from Gale. He was at the hospital and he had miscarried.

Curt ends up emailing his partner Ken what’s going on and maybe to stop over.

Ken and Gale become instant friends after the day.

Unfortunately, John and Gale had six different miscarriages over the next eight years. Getting less and less excited and hopeful each time.

Then it happened after they stopped trying for awhile. Gale was pregnant and unsure if he even wanted to try and go through the pregnancy. He didn’t want to suffer the heartbreak of losing another one. But after lots of discussion with John and his doctors and therapist they decided to continue the pregnancy.

They were worried and scared their entire pregnancy. Every time Gale had unexplainable cramps or anything abnormal they would rush to the hospital. They would assure them everything was alright.

Then they found out they were having twins!!! They were boys and they were so very excited. They spent a full month thinking about a second name before landing on Andrew and Arlo.

They also went out and basically bought an additional second of everything…

They would sit in the nursery together a lot. Gale would sit in John’s lap in the chair. His long hair tied back and John’s got his arms around him. He’s rambling about how great of dads they’re going to be.

Gales pregnancy cravings were INTENSE but John was jumping up to get him whatever he wanted!! No matter how odd it is.

Strawberries, peanut butter, and Doritos…pickles and ice cream…spaghetti o’s…

John almost passed out while Gale was giving birth…the nurses literally had to get him juice and crackers. Gale was rolling his eyes and telling John to quit being dramatic. …He almost passed out again when they cut the umbilical cords.

The first week of course was rough, Gale was healing the boys weren’t sleeping. John was jumping up to take care of them at night and making Gale lay down.

After a couple weeks they’re more under control, Gale sits in the chair they got for the nursery. Gale breast feeds one while John holds the other. He leans against the footrest singing blue skies to them softly rocking them.

Arlo ends up having dark brown curls like John and Andrew has cute little blonde curls. Gale loves to sit and play with the boys curls.

Curt and Ken are the go to baby sitters, obviously. They literally live next door to them.

The first vacation they have after the twins are one is hard for them. Gale feels guilty leaving them but John keeps assuring him that the boys will be okay.

However, Curt and Ken do FaceTime Gale and John a couple times a day so they can see the boys.

They really do get to relax though, couple massages, and spa days, Gale really got the treatment he deserved.

Part three of this series now, I've done the Cleven twins, and the Hamilton twins. Someone asked for the Egan twins so here is twenty thoughts on the Egan twins.

1. His name is Joseph James Egan, or Joey as his brother calls him, the 100th calls him Kangaroo because of Bucky calling him Joey.

2. Joey is the younger twin by five minutes, Bucky jokes that he was planned, Joey was not which always earns him a smack.

3. Joey is always wrangling Bucky, he drags his brother by the ear when he's not behaving.

4. Joey's a Bombardier because he didn't want to be a pilot like his brother, because he wanted to break the stereotype that twins do everything together.

5. He's married, has been married since the dinosaurs at least according to Bucky which earns a eyeroll from Joey.

6. Scary flexible, like he can put his own foot in his mouth.

7. Joey is also a dancer like this man can dance unlike his twin.

8. Joey can play the guitar and sing, he's actually part of the 100th band. Bucky jokes he's over compensating for something mostly because he's jealous, but he'd never admit it.

9. Joey is naturally blonde, and Buckys hair is natural though nobody believes them.

10. Joey does cartwheels with Curt and Crosby they make it a competition.

11. He also can fight, he can take down anyone half his size, he doesn't fight like a girl like Bucky. When Joey says that, Bucky flips him off.

12. Joey is the taller twin which Bucky hates.

13. Joey reads the paper every morning with a tea, Bucky calls him a little old man.

14. Joey doesn't smoke or drink.

15. He knew Bucky was in love with Buck before Bucky ever realized.

16. When Bucky and Buck had their girl fight in the prison camp, Joey grabbed them dragging Buck by his hair and Bucky by his ear, he put them in a qoute on qoute time out corner until they made up again.

17. When they were all in the train car thinking they were going to be taken to be killed, Joey sang Amazing Grace to calm nerves.

18. Best friends with Ken, he was the one who gave Ken his harmonica.

19. Joey works for the newspaper back home, he's a investigative reporter, so he has an eye for things.

20. Joey is fluent in German and French, so he listened a lot to the Krauts well they were in the prison camp. He was there little spy which made him feel like he was at home doing his job.

In my hs au but grown, Gale and John really only became horse people. Because when they bought their old farmhouse there were already stables/barnes. That and the house just came with a free miniature pony from the previous owners 😭. John loves that damn pony so much, so does Meatball. Although, Patches is not as big of a fan of Meatball. They decide to get two horses after awhile of thinking about it. Both fall in love with riding and they really end up exploring on the land. Finding a lake out there too, it’s just really dreamy.

They also end up getting Ken and Curt on board 👍👍 Gale could see how the horses were both so calming for them during their recoveries. I mean they literally moved a half mile down the road to another farmhouse and got horses of their own :3

3. He was born in Lincoln Illinois which the irony is hilarious.

4. Photographer for the same newspaper that Buck works for.

5. Dating the guy Bubbles is inhabiting for like seven years.

6. He is in fact realted to John Wilkes Booth in this timeline, as Crosby says he can't escape the lookalike contest. Manhunt reference.

7. Collects stamps, which Crosby doesn't understand either.

8. Irish-American, the accent throws him off sometimes.

The man that Everett Ernest Blakely is inhabiting.

1. Full name David Jonas Sheilds, one of the most normal name in the group.

2. He looks pretty much the same except his hair is slightly shorter.

3. Born in Tampa Florida.

4. He's a therapist, and because of this Blakely has started nitpicking everyone.

5. Has a pet crab, which is friends with Bucks tarantula. Everyone makes fun of Blakely for the crab joking he has crabs.

6. American, no accent but he is the honorary Curt translator.

The man that John Brady is inhabiting.

1. Full name Benjamin John Sutton.

2. He looks pretty much the same, maybe a little younger.

3. Born in San Francisco California

4. Fashion designer which was obvious to Brady almost immediately, because he got jump scared by one of the mans mannequins.

5. Steals mannequins from department stores.

6.The most fashionable one in the group, which he doesn't do on purpose.

The man that Howard "Hambone" Hamilton is inhabiting.

1. Jordan Claire Washington, or Claire which Hambone hates but he's getting use to it.

2. He looks pretty much the same except the brown hair and lip ring he has going on.

3. Born in Washington state.

4. Tattoo artist which took Hambone awhile to figure out, he thought he was an artist at first.

5. Engaged to the man Douglass is inhabiting.

6. He uses the guy Ken is inhabiting as his human test subject for tattoos.

7. Dresses like the poster boy of every early 2000s emo band.

8. British-American, the accent is a little worse then Buckys.

9. Collects cat statutes and sea shells.

The man that Bernard "Benny" DeMarco is inhabiting.

1. Full name Adam Campbell Long, the last name makes everyone giggle.

2. Looks exactly the same.

3. Born in Albany New York.

4. Bartender at a strip club, which DeMarco finds hilarious mostly because of his last name.

5. Can make a killer margarita.

6. Has OCD which drives DeMarco insane.

7. American, with a slight New York accent.

8. Owns a husky named Meatball, which makes DeMarco so happy that Meatball and him are together in every timeline.

The man James Douglass is inhabiting.

1. Full name Elliott Edward Parker

2. Looks pretty much the same, the only thing that's missing is his hair which Douglass complains about on a daily basis.

3. Born in Saint Louis Missouri.

4. Stripper Cop at the same strip club that DeMarco works at as a bartender, Douglass finds it fucking hilarious he loves this timeline version of him.

5. Engaged to the man Hambone is inhabiting.

6. Douglass wouldn't stop taking off his clothes once he figured out his profession of choice, he also gave Blakely a lap dance which Hambone dared him to.

The man John B. "Jack" Kidd is inhabiting.

1. Full name Ashley Edward Johnson, which Kidd hates with a passion.

2. Born in Salt Lake City Utah.

3. Fifth grade science teacher, which makes so much sense to Kidd because he already deals with children in the 40s, so why not modern day.

The man Kenneth "Ken" Lemmons is inhabiting.

1. Full name Samuel Kai Lawson, which Ken finds kickass.

2. Born in Grand Rapids Michigan.

3. He owns his own mechanic shop.

4. His tattoos and ear piercing were all done by the man Hambone is inhabiting, who uses him as a test subject. Even after Hambone took over, Ken let him practice on him.

5. He's been dating the man Rosie is inhabiting for two years.

6. Owns a cat named Fleas, which Ken finds kinda of insulting to the cat.
