Only 6 more models to go for my NOVA Open list! These 5 scouts join the last 5 as objective grabbers and action doers. Gave this crew shotguns from the BT upgrade kit because they look cool and they ain’t gonna be shooting much anyway.

I wonder what it says about me that I absolutely love mad bombers as a character concept. And that I love to kitbash them. I just love a nut job with too many explosives, it's like how GW in general loves pyromaniacs.

Parts-wise he has a heap of sources asides from the obvious Hearthkyn bits. His head and his satchel are off an Orlock quadbike (with some liquid greenstuff burns). The detonator and one of his toolkits are from the Genestealer Cult Saboteur and his other toolkit and extra grenades are from the Iron head Squat sprue. There was a LOT of careful cutting for both his left hand and the detonator, lemme tell ya.

He also ended up with a different base body than the regular guy, at first thus was for the pose but I later realised this also kind of implies he blew his legs off at some point. Maybe when he got burned so bad? Maybe those were all 3 separate explosions? He does seem to be currently threatening to blow himself and anyone else in the room up, which in the 42nd millennium might actually encourage his enemies but such is life in the grimdark future.

I really like Noise Marines from Warhammer, but only 1 modern model of them exists. So kitbashed a whole Kill Team of them, in some of my favourite colours :3

My empire of unfinished green lol.

Planning on painting the trenches with a Modge podge base then using a grout mixture to emulate mud.

Planning on carving stones into the bridge and supports, basing black, and then dry brushing gray. Used bondo to seal cracks on supports which is not idea but I think will still be workable.

Planning on using these for 40k, killteam, Legion, and Turnip28. Any advice? Is the bridge too tall?

Kill Team time comes once again, and this round it bears space dwarves, the Hearthkyn Salvagers. These guys have a lot of options, and I did an indulgence to pick up some extra bodies so I could make everything. They've got funny names like Theyn, Lokatr, Kognitaar, and Grenadier. What even is that last one, that's not a real language.

Anyway, I went a little wild with some of the details here, from the heated metal weapons, to trying to up the metallics a little bit, to sculpting and printing some jetpack exhaust for the one guy.

These guys apparently haven't been doing too well as far as stats go, but I'm excited to finally get a chance to try them out all the same.

You know, with all the alien- and mutant-options 40k offers, I wonder if GW eventually makes the plunge into meme-territory and makes a Militarum or Inquisition based Felind killteam.

Catboys and -girls are canon in 40k, and they have been for decades. It's about time we get some proper models for them! Do you think they make those helmets with holes for the ears? Or would they get protective headsets?

I think I’m gonna repaint this dude tonight, I might just turn him into sisters of purification. I think it would be fun to free hand the little logo.

Where are the initiates? A squad of Black Templars Scouts/Neophytes! Nice and easy unit to paint up for objective play.

Did my Dozr. Only a slight bit of kitbashing here with his helmet clipped onto his belt (from an Einhyr to cover up the mark left when I popped one of the big grenade clusters the grenadier gets when I decided he needed a totally different body...)
