These accidentally involved my post game AU hcs but I don’t mention any ships or anything romantic here. Enjoy ^^

Strange idea but I hc that Rantaro is one of the first people that Kiyo is extremely comfortable around. They actually comfortably stim around Rantaro first before anyone else because they’re afraid of receiving the same judgement that they did in school. Rantaro doesn’t care though. Kiyo will actually be all excited around him and he thinks it’s cute. He’s glad Kiyo is comfortable around him and he’s not gonna judge them for being happy.

Kiyo actually also likes to mess with Rantaro. Mostly by throwing things at him like crumpled up paper and pillows and random garbage. Rantaro does the exact same thing to them. Kiyo also likes to surprise rantaro by going up behind him and yelling boo as loud as possible or standing behind him silently and waiting for him to turn around.

Kiyo likes to repeat words when they’re excited. A common one is “tarotarotarotarotaro” to either show him something or get his attention, to which he will repeat “kiyokiyokiyokiyokiyo” which just makes Kiyo say it more lol.

Rantaro listens to Kiyo ramble and actually becomes really close with Kiyo since they bond over travelling and Rantaro is just generally really chill and also is one of the first to notice that Kiyo tends to isolate themselves.

Kirumi is the second person Kiyo warmed up to. They started stimming around them as well which got a very positive reaction. Kiyo gets very excited over anthropology or myths or any shows they enjoy and kirumi calmly listens. While she doesn’t match their excitement like Rantaro does, she doesn’t tell them to calm down and judge them. She’ll usually just smile at them or laugh (in a nice way. Not at them in a mean way)

Kiyo will often grab them by the hands and jump up and down or shake their hands a bunch. It makes kirumi smile.

Kiyo also makes Kirumi feel a lot better about physical contact and being excited herself. She actually started doing the grabbing Kiyo’s hands and shaking them/ jumping up and down thing. Kiyo will just excitedly join them.

Kirumi, Kiyo, and Rantaro all really like caffeine which always gives them something to do. They go out for coffee a lot. They will sometimes just buy coffee from the gas station (the cold canned stuff) and have that at the skate park. I feel like Rantaro would have a scooter or a skateboard.

Rantaro isn’t around super often because he’s usually travelling but every time he gets back he gets a very excited greeting from the two. They’ll usually go out for dinner all together or go to Kirumis place and watch some horrors.

He and Kirumi end up becoming really good friends with them in treatment because they both noticed that they were clearly in a really bad place. They always sat with them at mealtime and would sit with them in their room and watch them draw while talking about who knows what. (Kiyo really liked to draw while in treatment. It helped them calm down)

They all sorta became a little group as they learned the entirety of each other’s traumatic pasts. They bonded over their appearances of being extremely mature and strong. They bonded over their want to just live as an individual rather than living for someone else.

Kirumi and Rantaro are Kiyo’s closest friends. They consider them to be family. They all are very understanding of each other’s struggles and have some similar experiences (they bond a lot over their shared experiences with gender and sexuality)

Yeah yeah these are my favourite type of hcs. This is not a ship!! I personally don’t ship Amaguji or Kirukiyo or Kirutaro or kirukiyotaro but no hate to those who ship them!!! Just not my personal cup of tea! I still enjoy ship content for them though because it’s always quite cute!!

Oh boy, here we go.

Shuichi Saihara

The two would get along well, although they don’t have much in common aside from anxiety

Shuichi is already in love with a musician so why not befriending another?

Rantaro Amami

Rantaro would be a little suspicious of him at first, but after some time they would get along.

Platonic love solidarity!

B!Rantaro would have a lot of respect for him for trying so hard to find his sisters.

Miu Iruma

Since B!Miu is kinda flirty-ish, Miu would be a mess. B!Miu would stop that very quickly though.

B!Miu would try to act kinda like a big sister and help her with her confidence.

But the sex jokes would annoy her a tad too much.

Kaito Momota

B!Kaito was not prepared for this level of bro-ness and motivation. They would be very good bros. Not as good bros as B!Miu/B!Kaito or Kaito/Shuichi but still.

Kaito would try at first to train him but problems come in very quickly.

He would still have a lot of respect for working so hard for his goal with a missing leg.

Kaede Akamatsu

The two would get along very well! Although Kaede would try to boost B!Kaede’s confidence a little.

B!Kaede would be very inspired to write while listening to Kaede’s music.

Maki Harukawa

Maki would probably get bored rather quickly and not really care about tailor work, to B!Maki’s dismay.

At least B!Maki wasn’t really annoying to her.

Tenko Chabashira

Of course the other Tenko would be a fighter. That’s what defines her!

The two would spar regularly, no rules. Tenko would win more often since Neo-Aïkido is a bit more aggressive, though.

But those two would be good friends!

Kokichi Ouma

B!Kokichi would run away immediately and get chased by an enraged supreme leader. But B!Kokichi is faster so he gets away easily.

Kokichi would probably not believe B!Kokichi’s talent is real at first but quickly realizes it’s real when he keeps tripping down for no reason.

A very bad relationship overall.

Himiko Yumeno

“We’re gonna be the best of friends!!” "Nyeh... There’s an astronaut for you somewhere else. Leave me alone.”

B!Himiko would lowkey believe she is a real mage, though.

Himiko wouldn’t be able to keep up with her bursts of energy. But overall they could be friends.

Therapy time. He doesn’t have a choice.

Kiyo would find B!Kiyo interesting, though. Therapy is looking at humanity from another angle. Not only discovering humanity but healing it.

B!Tsumugi would be annoyed very easily and would just leave to study.

Kinda cold relationship.

Ryoma Hoshi

B!Ryoma wouldn’t exactly care about Ryoma killing an entire mafia as revenge. He wasn’t exactly better.

They could get along since B!Ryoma doesn’t feel like pressuring people for no reason.

Although I feel like Ryoma would have mixed feelings about him being an active soldier.

Kirumi Tojo

B!Kirumi wouldn’t care much about Kirumi as long as she minds her own business.

Kirumi would be very suspicious of her and eventually try to find out who she is, somehow. Not that B!Kirumi is going to let her, though.

Kirumi headcanons again because she’s underrated and only known as mom

She hangs out with Maki a lot (you can see this as romantic or platonic. Romantically I’ll see it as maki is dating kirumi and Kaito while kirumi is only dating maki sorta deal since I really like kaimaki but that’s just my take.)

Maki likes to skateboard and Kirumi roller blades so they vibe at the skatepark a lot. They tend to go really early in the mornings or later at night so they don’t have to worry about teenage boys being loud and in the way.

She loves going to concerts. She’ll usually bring Kiyo with them but he can’t handle loud noises so he’ll wear noise canceling headphones and just enjoy observing how everyone functions.

She dyes their hair a lot. She also cuts it a lot. Usually just small trims and adjustments but sometimes she’ll cut it into a sort of longer pixie cut.

She platonically cuddles with Kiyo a lot. They get along super well and are super close because Kiyo never really treated them like a parent so they end up cuddling on the couch and watching horror movies together a lot.

She’ll hang out with Rantaro and Kiyo lots when he’s home from his travels for a bit. Rantaro and Kirumi both have quite an attachment to Kiyo because theyre both slightly overprotective of them especially since he has no family (that are in the picture. Most are dead or neglectful, anyways enough about Kiyo,,)

Since she’s learning to live like a teenager she’ll have a lot of pop and candy in their house. She’s good about being healthy during the week but on weekends it’s chill time.

She takes the bus to school and work. She wears a mask if she’s taking public transit because Kiyo suggested it and she doesn’t want to get sick.

One of their many hobbies is scaring Kiyo. He stays over at their place a lot so she has many opportunities. She’ll usually use Jack ( @saiharasbitch for the name) or just jump at them. She obviously doesn’t go too far with the spiders and won’t actually let the spider close enough to them to make them panic. She’s not that mean.

I mentioned before that she rollerblades. (Or roller skates idfk anything so correct me if I’m wrong about this one) she likes to learn tricks and impress maki. She’ll sometimes just go around the neighborhood/city though.

(As I was creating this I realized how absolutely wonderful kirumaki is so they’re together now. Maki can still be with Kaito but damn kirumaki 🥰)

Kirumi has an awful sleep schedule. She’ll stay up late and wake up early. She also wakes up multiple times in the night.

She struggles with isolating themselves from everyone in their life. She’ll ignore Kiyo and stop hanging out with Maki and hide in their house all alone forcing themselves to clean and reorganize and not letting themselves relax. Kiyo can usually spot this and he’ll go to their place (sometimes he’ll drag maki) and drag them out of their depressing loop.

She’ll sometimes have maki over and they’ll just lay together. Maki usually falls asleep in their arms. Kirumi absolutely loves it. Maki does too but she’ll never say.

Sometimes Kiyo and Maki will come over and watch them play horror games. Maki usually cuddles into Kirumi pretty hard because she’s scared (but won’t admit it) and Kiyo only gets scared at certain parts. If he does he will also snuggle into kirumi.

Once some dumb kids ding dong ditched kirumi while Kiyo and maki were over so the two got dressed up in the scariest looks they could muster, ignoring kirumis protest, and scared the living shit out of those dumb kids. They ran home screaming. They never bothered kirumi again.

1: Since Kaede liked to think she knew Saihara best, she noticed things about him most people might not. Like how recently, he had been spending more time around Amami. She hadn’t really thought much of it, honestly
