Doing MK11 Tower Endings

MD: Lets see what Jacqui’s tower ending is

Computer: I know you’ll never hear this, but goodbye dad

I love Jacqui because I think she’s cool, so that why I did the tower ending. I wanted to actually strangle myself after I finished the tower. From now on I’m gaslighting myself into thinking that didn’t happen and she got a happy ending where her and her dad live on a farm together taking care of cows

So this old man didn’t really stop being my constant enemy during faction wars, challenge tower and Shao Kahn tower and now he decided to join my now not so little Fujin orphanage of fighters that even fresh sexy cadavers (aka Klassic Ermac) are welcome lol 😆

gaaaaah i wanna do replies but mk may have me roped in again!!! and it made me realize that, as much as i love tek... it's seriously missing content. especially tek7. like i'm unsure about mk1's other modes because i haven't played 'em other than story and versus. but in mk11, i used to play that game for 8 hours straight at a time because there's so much to do. there's so many cosmetics/stuff you can collect. there's the klassic towers to unlock all character endings, and yes - they're longer than one fuckin fight. there's the krypt, which will have you exploring for a long time for stuff, there's the towers of time - which is constantly changing, and even has the "race against time" that encourages you to play more and more bc if you're in the top 10%, you get more special items, i believe there were other modes, too but ones i didn't play so much. in tek7... there's only treasure battle to collect the cosmetics... and that's all you do, just play treasure battle. it gets repetitive fast, and not as exciting to collect things as mk11 was. then tek7 only has story mode (which is ok, but you don't wanna replay it over and over again) and the arcade... like tekken just doesn't offer much if you're a single player / don't always like to play online mode.

i'm REALLY hoping tek8 will remedy this. i'm really hoping tek8 will offer more offline modes so that i can play it for literally all day like i can with the mk games!! anyway... i may do some replies (there's especially some inbox things i wanna get to!) or i may play more mk1 to see how it stacks up against mk11 so far (rn tho i'm REALLY enjoying it! might have to develop a mk verse for my boys more!)

The video gave me a lot to think about, and trying to play the Klassic Tower right after watching it was an awful idea (I eventually did win, unlocked Jacqui’s ending!)

First of all, of course, Harumi my beloved <3 <3 No matter how brief her part may be, I am already happy she is there

Also yeah! I said that Hanzo’s ending was going to be important! I know this is just a side story, but the video says that timeline was the mk1 timeline, so I think it will be at least canon compliant. The main thing is that I thought the way things are shown to work in the ending is how things are going to work in canon.

Kuai of all people being the one to end up with Harumi is funny. Some classic “they’re not gay they both like the same woman” thing. I get that the main goal was to make Hanzo and Kuai fight but still

(If I see anyone bashing Harumi for “getting in the way” of their ship I will block on sight. This shit is ridiculous, it’s not 2005 anymore, and I’ve liked her since before it was cool)

Also if that is indeed the mk1 timeline this does answer why the heck Kuai is Scorpion, he is not even Shirai Ryu, how did this happen. It’s Harumi. She is the one that made it happen. Scorpion has to be her husband no matter what

(I will find a way to let NRS know that she should be Scorpion next)

Finally, for Hanzo to decide to destroy the only timeline in which the love of his life didn’t die an early tragic death… I know he is anger issues personified but that’s too much. Specially considering the one she marries is one of the people he trusts most, his ally, his equal… but then again this anger is probably just to mask the grief and pain of knowing that he is somehow responsible for her tragedy in every other timeline. That’s so messed up. I love it

All of this is absolutely ot3 material. I started shipping these three in a V configuration, as shown in Second Chances but I have since been brought to the full triangle. I like it both ways and I can’t wait for the fic this will bring us
