[Exclusivo para Portugal] Helldorado: o El Dorado da música rock, punk e metal | Reportagem Fotográfica

Guillermo Izquierdo dos Angelus Apatrida | mais fotos clicar aqui O parceiro do headLiner João Machado, para a área fotográfica, teve acesso pela primeira vez ao festival Helldorado. Realizou-se no passado dia 18 de novembro no Klokgebouw na cidade de Eindhoven. Este local é um edifício em que no rés-do-chão existem uns armazéns enormes. São instalados palcos em três armazéns: Lion Stage, Cobra Stage e Tarantula Stage.

Neste El Dorado da música rock, punk e metal tocaram, ao todo, 20 bandas. Apenas uma delas é mais conhecida pelos portugueses, já têm por cá alguns fãs e atuaram com muito sucesso recentemente no nosso país. Falamos do trio belga Brutus. Eles atuaram no Hard Club no Porto a 9 de outubro e no LAV em Lisboa a 10 de outubro.

Estas bandas todas foram captadas pela lente do João. Aproveitamos agora a ocasião para dar-vos a conhecer um pouco melhor 4 delas: Blood Command, Bad Nerves, Peter Pan Speedrock e Life Of Agony.

Começamos estas apresentações pelo quinteto Blood Command, banda norueguesa oriunda de Bergen e identificam-se como punk rock e deathpop. São liderados pela irreverente vocalista Nikki Brumen. Existem desde 2008, já editaram 5 álbuns e 4 EPs. São conhecidos pelas suas atuações frescas e vibrantes.

Este quinteto oriundo de Essex do leste de Londres são uma das s mais recentes sensações do punk-rock do Reino Unido. Eles que prestam tributo a bandas lendárias como os Sex Pistols e The Clash. A imprensa inglesa diz que são “caóticos, imprevisíveis e muitos divertidos”. Já partilharam o palco, numa tournée mundial, com os Royal Blood e estão destinados a voos bem mais proeminentes.

Não podia faltar o destaque para uma banda da casa, literalmente. Os neerlandeses Peter Pan Speedrock são de Eindhoven, cidade que acolheu o Helldorado. Atualmente são um trio e o projeto existe desde 1995. A discografia é já bastante vasta. O seu hard rock fez e continua a fazer carreira nos Países Baixos. Atualmente o trio é composto por Piet Van Elderen (vocalista e guitarrista), Bart Nederhand (bateria) e Bartman (baixo).

Visão do palco durante a atuação dos Peter Pan Speedrock | mais fotos clicar aqui Para foco final ficaram os Life Of Agony. Esta formação de metal alternativo é originária de Brooklyn em Nova Iorque. São já veteranos com mais de 30 anos de carreira. Neste mês de novembro tocaram em vários países europeus, como por exemplo Alemanha, Suécia ou Eslováquia, na celebração dessa data com a tournée “River Runs Red”. Apelidada com o título do primeiro álbum da banda. O guitarrista Joey Z, o baixista Alan Robert e a baterista Veronica Bellino foram os elementos de serviço neste festival.

Em 2024 o evento Helldorado regressará a 16 de novembro e terá, com toda a certeza, lotação esgotada como sucedeu na edição deste ano.

In 2025 zijn de 21 gemeenten uit de regio Brainport Eindhoven samen met de provincie Noord-Brabant gastregio voor het VNG Jaarcongres 2025. Dat maakte de VNG (Vereniging Nederlandse Gemeenten) bekend tijdens het Jaarcongres 2024 in het Groene Hart. Niet eerder kwam het voor dat zo’n grote groep gemeenten in samenwerking met de provincie het congres organiseerde. De congresdagen vinden volgend jaar plaats op 17 en 18 juni. Burgemeester Ederveen zit samen met de burgemeesters van Deurne, Eindhoven, Helmond, Reusel-de Mierden en Veldhoven in de stuurgroep van de organisatie. Voorzitter van de stuurgroep Organisatie VNG Jaarcongres, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, is trots dat de 21 gemeenten uit de regio Brainport Eindhoven en de provincie Noord-Brabant samen het congres gaan organiseren. “We kijken er enorm naar uit om bestuurlijk Nederland in Brainport Eindhoven te mogen ontvangen. Het VNG Jaarcongres biedt onze regio de mogelijkheid om het verhaal van Brainport te vertellen. Een regio waar het fijn wonen, werken en leven is en waar we hecht samenwerken aan innovatieve oplossingen voor wereldwijde maatschappelijke vraagstukken. Dat is goed nieuws voor de economie. Maar het stelt ons als regio ook voor grote uitdagingen. Die treden we tegemoet met onze inwoners, het bedrijfsleven, het onderwijs en maatschappelijke partners. We nodigen alle VNG-congresbezoekers uit om met ons mee te denken. Want samen maken we hier de toekomst.” Het is de verwachting dat het organiseren van het VNG Jaarcongres veel oplevert voor diverse partijen, zoals horeca, toerisme, middenstand en hoteliers in de hele regio. VNG Jaarcongres Het VNG Jaarcongres is een tweedaags congres dat jaarlijks wordt bezocht door ruim 3000 gemeentebestuurders, gemeenteambtenaren en vertegenwoordigers van provincies en rijksoverheid. Tijdens het event maken bezoekers kennis met de regio, vinden discussiebijeenkomsten en kennissessies plaats en is er ruimte voor netwerken. De locatie voor het gezamenlijke deel van het congres en de informatiebeurs is het Klokgebouw op Strijp-S in Eindhoven. Zo’n 60 deelsessies op de eerste dag, vinden verspreid over de regio plaats. Doel is om in iedere gemeente minstens één deelsessie te organiseren. De komende tijd wordt het programma verder voorbereid in samenwerking met de VNG, de 21 gemeenten en de provincie Noord-Brabant.

Parte forte il 2024 elettronico targato Bolgia - Bergamo. Venerdì 5 gennaio 2024 arriva sul palco il top dj produttore inglese AnD. Con lui, nella notte che precede la festa della Befana, fanno scatenare il Bolgia anche Ankkh, super duo milanese, e WarinD, artista partenopeo. Sono quattro arttisti in forte crescita nella scena techno. 

E' Dimitri Poumplidism, all'anagrafe, il vero nome di AnD, dj e produttore di base a Manchester, in Inghilterra uno degli artisti sul palco del Bolgia il 5 gennaio 2024. E' uno dei dj producer specializzati in hard techno ormai più richiesti nei club di mezzo mondo. Questo progetto nasce in realtà come duo. Nel 2020, la decisione di portarlo avanti da solo. A Dimitri sono legate realtà discografiche di riferimento in questo genere come l'omonima And, dove ha pubblicato la serie "The Hardware Sessions", faro per chi ama questo suono potente e futuristico, e pure l'etichetta Dimi, dedicata anche essa alla sperimentazione. AnD è un pioniere nel mondo di una techno veloce e potente. I suoi set e le sue capacità di DJing ipnotizzano il pubblico di rinomati eventi globali, consolidando la sua eccezionale reputazione. Dopo un top club come il Bolgia - Bergamo, infatti, nella stessa data del 27/1/24 fa ballare due club olandesi: il Klokgebouw di Eindhoven ed il Al Hemkade 48 ad Amsterdam. 

Sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda (sonora) viaggia il duo milanese ANKKH, sul palco del Bolgia di Bergamo il 5 gennaio 2024. Sono Kristofer ed Ektor e portano sul palco un vero spettacolo che combina un suono techno e sottoculture come cyberpunk e hyper pop, e un pizzico d'arte. Il 5/1/24 al Bolgia c'è poi in console il partenopeo WarinD, dal 2015 al capo della omonima label dedicata a generi come industrial e hardgroove techno. Chiude il cerchio, in Club Room, WM. Il Bolgia apre alle ore 23.30 e si balla fino alle 6 del mattino. 

L'appuntamento di venerdì 5 gennaio 2024 al Bolgia di Bergamo con AnD + Ankkh + WarinD x Epiphany Event in console è solo l'ennesimo di peso per il top club sull'A4. During these premieres a number of band members will. (GMT+1) and will be available through the websites of Epica and Klokgebouw. Tickets will go on sale on the 15th of September at 10 a.m. Both as a 2DVD/3CD and 2Blu-ray/3CD version. Retrospect will be Epica’s most ambitious project to date, joined by a 70-piece symphonic orchestra and choir, international guests and lots of special effects. On the 8 th of November Nuclear Blast will release »Retrospect« as a deluxe hardcover book with 48 pages. In addition to a collection of the band’s biggest hits from across the spectrum of their entire catalog, this once-in-a-lifetime spectacular also features the live debut of ‘Twin Flames’ and the previously unreleased ‘Retrospect’, covers of classics by Vivaldi, Pergolesi, and Oscar-winning film composer John Williams, two guest collaborations with the venerable Floor Jansen (Nightwish, ReVamp), and a very special performance of their breakthrough single, ‘Quietus’, with founding members Jeroen Simons, Ad Sluijter, and Yves Huts. The band invited the Hungarian Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and the Choir of Miskolc. The concert which would be called Retrospect, would be held in Klokgebouw with a 70-piece orchestra, choirs, international guests and many special effects. Ten high definition cameras captured this very special sold-out show while EPICA played in front of nearly five thousand ecstatic fans in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The band announced on their official website that on March 23, 2013, they would celebrate the 10th anniversary of Epica in Eindhoven, Netherlands. Eindhoven - Jams & Gems Festival en World Breaking Classic zijn terug! Op zaterdag 29 juni bruist het Ketelhuisplein met muziek, dans, kunst en heerlijke hapjes, allemaal samengebracht onder het thema "Digging For Gold". Een unieke gelegenheid om de verborgen parels van de stad te ontdekken. Een hoogtepunt van het festival is World Breaking Classic, waar de beste dansers ter wereld de strijd met elkaar aan gaan tijdens de grootste 2vs2 Breaking Battle van het jaar. Op zaterdag krijgen deelnemers bij Jams & Gems de laatste kans om zich te kwalificeren voor de finale die op zondag plaatsvindt in het Klokgebouw.  Het festival wordt georganiseerd door danscollectief The Ruggeds, meervoudig wereldkampioenen Breaking die als ware schatgravers unieke parels hebben verzameld tijdens hun reizen over de hele wereld.
