CFV characters at the beach except it’s not a beach episode and it’s everyone LOL (because I want to)
Aichi: he is going to be sunburnt. Emi slapped sun screen all over him but. It can only do so much. He hardly goes out in the sun no matter what so. Rest In Peace. Also his hair is gonna leak sand for the next month with no stop.
Kai: He’s got himself a hole in the sand by the water and his sunglasses on. He hasn’t moved in approximately 3 hours and the kids around there have been wondering if he’s dead and/or if they should bury him in sand. (He’s just asleep but he’s gonna be in trouble when the tide comes in)
Misaki: She’s happy to have a normal time at the beach instead of whatever training camp they used to fool around with. She’s got a cooler and a sun hat and she drew the year in the sand for a Cool Picture ™️ Lol. Also she drew a bocci course for everybody and she’s being left alone as she should (or she’s hanging out with kourin 🤭)
Kamui: He brought Chrono, Tokoha, and Shion. He is making them do stupid training. He hasn’t changed at all istg. Other than that though he’s having a great time himself in the sun and with all the sports!! He (carefully) picks up crabs from tide pools and bothers people with them.
Miwa: GUYS he found a JELLYFISH!!!!!! nooo don’t touch it you stupid bitch. He touched it and is now crying that his finger was stung!!! You idiot!!!! He helps the kids bury Kai but when the tide starts coming in they PANIC OH GOD GUYS HES STILL IN THERE DHBSBXBS
Ren: He’s having more fun looking at beach shops at stuff lol. His attention span isn’t very wide. He builds a sand castle with Asaka! He brought far too many beach things (intertubes, beach balls, pool noodles, sand buckets, everything man)
Asaka: She wanted to get a tan but currently she’s just fine following Ren around lmao we know Asaka. She did bring a boom box though it’s blasting Marina and the Diamonds lmao
Tetsu: He’s taking a long romantic walk on the beach. by himself. after having to figure out hotel situations and everything. Why is he the designated responsible person lmao. He’s having a great time actually
Kyou: He yells out SHARK SHARK but there’s no shark. He also litters on the beach. Somebody go kick his ass please
Morikawa: He is also a culprit in burying Kai, but then he too wants to be buried!!! He asks to get out IMMEDIATELY. He wears a shark fin to scare everyone!!!! It’s not funny
Izaki: Simply vibing. He brought popsicles!!!!! Buries Morikawa lmao. OH he brought a book too! Plans to relax but probably doesn’t get to with the company he keeps
Kourin: is hanging out with Misaki 🤭 also Shes just glad to be on the beach but like not for ULTRARARE media. It’s sunbathing time babey. Also she plays beach ball w the cardfighf club lol
Naoki: He just built a sand fortress. Nobody is allowed in!!!!! It’s truly something to behold but. Guys he’s getting hungy in here .... Shingo sneaks him snacks through the window
Shingo: He brought a camera and he’s taking lots of pictures !!! Misaki posing, Aichi being very scared of Kamuis crab, and Kai with the worst raccoon eyes around after digging him out. Also he is telling everybody about deep sea fish and phytoplankton! Nobody wants to get in the water anymore
Ibuki: he doesnt like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere /ref. Why is he wearing his normal outfit he looks so stupid lmao
Suiko: suns Out guns out. Stylin and whilin whatever that means. Shes taking selfie’s and also she throws Kyou across the beach for littering!!!!
Rekka: she’s in disguise but she is very fly anyway. She brought a stack of magazines and a beach chair and is absolutely vibinggggg I wanna be her then

Y/N,
It’s been two days since I left your sweet ass laying in that bed alone. I decided I’m just going to share my thoughts with you. Have you ever noticed it is so much easier to write them down than it is to say them out loud?  You have no idea how long I stood leaning against the door frame of your bedroom watching you sleep. Don’t laugh, it’s one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen, I don’t know how long I’m going to be gone and I wanted that memory seared into my brain.
I’m sitting here in a hotel room; I’m supposed to be cleaning our guns while Sam has gone to get dinner. I’ll get to it, but I wanted to write to you first. As Sam and I were driving this first leg, he was filling me in on the case but between you and I, I really wasn’t listening. Sammy knew it too, but he kept spewing out facts anyway. Driving down the highway, Zeppelin in the deck.
All I could think about was the night we met. You busted me staring at you so many times and each time you would just smile that dazzling smile at me.  Remember when I asked you to dance? You looked up at me through your lashes, tucked your hair behind your ear and smiled that sweet shy smile of yours. “I can’t, I’m working,” you said. I just laughed because you had no idea I was too. If it wasn’t for that nest of Vamps, I would have never met you. Thank God for Vampires!  I need to cut this short; I have guns to clean and Sammy will be back any minute. Please write me back, you can just send it to Bobby’s old PO Box in Sioux Falls, people in the group (usually Jodi) checks it all the time and will make sure I get it.  I miss your voice and your laugh. Stay safe until we are together again.
I Love you,
D

Y/N had just moved to Lincoln, Nebraska 6 months before. It was where the dart landed when she closed her eyes and threw it at the map. This was her new lease on life, she promised herself that wherever the dart landed is where she would go to open her photography studio.
“Ugh, corn,” she groaned to herself. That’s all she knew about Nebraska is that they have corn…and pigs. She was going to be so mad if all she took pictures of was prize winning pigs at the 4-H Fair.
She picked up her camera and took a picture of the map. She would blow it up and hang it in her new studio to remind her of her new lease on life. She pulled the map from the dingy motel room wall, folded it and put it in her backpack.
Zipping it up she thought about one of those inspirational posters she saw once that said “The greatest adventure is what lies ahead”. Walking out, the heavy motel room door slams behind her, almost as a sign that she was never going to look back, only forward.
She threw her backpack in the passenger seat of her 2008 black Jeep Wrangler hardtop that was already packed with her camera equipment and the few belongings that she had. She pushed the Spotify app on her phone, “More Than A Feeling” by Boston began to play and she pointed the nose of her Jeep west, towards a new life.
Six months, Y/N had been in Lincoln and business was finally picking up. The owner of a honky tonk and blues bar called The Zoo wanted her to come take pictures for their new advertisements. Y/N walked through the door shabby club at 6:00pm on a Thursday night. It was country night, the first night of a 3-day shoot. She had her black skinny jeans tucked into a pair of black cowboy boots with black stitching and a knee length black jacket over a white form fitting T Shirt. She fit in, but not too much, after all she was a little more Rock-N-Roll than country.
Walking up to the bar she saw Travis, the owner, immediately. She set her backpack on the bar and leaned over to shake his hand. “Nice to see you again Y/N, glad we could put this together.”
“Me too,” she smiled back. “Can I just stow my bag behind the bar so I can be hands free to get the shots we talked about?” “Of course.” Travis nodded. Y/N unzipped the backpack to retrieve her camera, closed it back up and handed the bag to Travis with a nod of thanks. Turning her back to the bar she scanned the crowd. She could not believe it was already half full so early on a Thursday.
The band just walked on stage, welcomed the crowd and dived right into “Country Girl” by Luke Bryan. As the dancefloor began to fill up, Y/N once again scanned the crowd. Her gaze stopped at two tall men over at a table in the corner, one has longish hair almost to his shoulders and the other is just an inch shorter than his company. She locked eyes with the man who is of smaller stature as he brought a bottle of beer to his lips. She could feel the heat creeping up her face and she smiled at him.
Tumblr media
As he pulled the beverage from his mouth, the side of his mouth quirked up and he winked at her. She looked down at her camera quickly, fumbling with the lens cap. She could feel her cheeks flush as a tiny bit of sweat popped up on the back of her neck.
“Holy shit,” she breathed. That man was beautiful. Starting with his black work boots, up his Levi clad legs, to his fitted white T-shirt under a red and white open flannel. His hair was brown but what shook her were his piercing eyes. She was too far away to see their color, but they were laser focused. It was like he looked right into her soul.
“Shake it off,” she chastised herself, “you’re here for a job.” She slid the lens cap in her back pocket next to her phone and brought the camera up to her face. Pointing at the crowd she began to take pictures; she took a few shots of the whole crowd but then began to focus on individual couples and the band on the stage.
Throughout the night as she moved around the bar to get different shots, she would try to sneak a glimpse of the stranger in the corner. Each time she would catch sight of him, he was watching her. She would quickly smile and look away. They played this game most of the night.
As the band came back to the stage from their last break of the night, she had just returned from the back of the office area where she was showing Travis the pictures she had taken to confirm she was capturing the ambience he wanted for the promotional push. She glanced up to what she now referred to in her mind as “The Hot Guy Corner”. Her stomach dropped immediately; he was gone.
Y/N didn’t know what she expected but she expected...something. “For God’s sake, he was staring at me all night,” she thought. Shrugging to herself, she plastered a smile on her face to chase the sadness away and scanned the crowd looking for the next set of shots.
“Hey, sweetheart,” a deep voice rumbled, the breath warm against the shell of her ear. Y/N gasped and stumbled backwards into a hard wall of chest. Two large hands grasped her shoulders to steady her. “Sorry,” he chuckled next to her ear. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
Straightening her spine, she turned around. Looking up, she peered into the most stunning moss green eyes that she had ever seen.  “H-H-Hey,” she stuttered, “you just surprised me that’s all.” She stepped back out of his grasp.
“Yeah, again sorry about that.” He smiled. Looking down at you he continued, “so I was wondering, would you like to dance?” She tucked her hair behind her ear like she always did when she was nervous and looked up at him smiling. “I can’t, I’m working.” She gestured with her camera.
“Well I figured it was close to the end of the night, so you might have time for a dance, ya know, just one.” He indicated to the dance floor. “Um, yeah I’d like that. Can you catch me at the last song of the night? That way I can finish up the shoot and put my camera away.”
“Sure.” He grinned, “I’ll find you for the last song.” He reached over and lightly squeezed her free hand, turned on his heel and walked back towards the corner table.
Before she knew it, the band leader was thanking the crowd for joining them on a Thursday night and that they would now close the night with “Colder Weather” by the Zac Brown Band. Y/N felt her heart begin to beat faster as she quickly put her camera back into her backpack behind the bar. She zipped up the bag and as she stood her eyes drifted to the dance floor.
There he stood in all his handsome magnificence as he locked eyes with her, smiling as he began lifting his hand towards her. She smiled back as the butterflies were riotous in her stomach and her body began to tremble. Walking over she took his outstretched palm as he led her to the middle of the dance floor.
As they turned to each other, she put her left hand on his shoulder and her right hand in his as she felt his palm rest on the small of her back. Looking up at him through her lashes, she smiled. “Hey again,” he grinned. She huffed out a laugh, “Hey yourself.”
She concentrated on moving her feet to the music and prayed her hands didn’t get sweaty as his enveloped hers. She feels his touch lightly on her back as he leads her through the dance, and she swears it is burning a hole through her clothes. They didn’t speak after that, moving around the dancefloor as if they had done this together a million times.
Tumblr media
The song was over too soon, and she was mentally kicking herself that she hadn’t taken this man up on the offer to dance an hour ago. As the final cords of the song came to an end, Y/N reluctantly stepped back. As she did, this denim and flannel clad man held gently but firmly onto her hand.
“I wish I would have asked you to dance sooner,” the corner of his mouth lifted in a half smile.
“Well, unfortunately I was still working.” She wasn’t sure why he was still holding her hand, but she couldn’t look at them for fear she could actually see the sparks zinging off their linked fingers. Hesitantly she let go, finding comfort in the front pocket of her jeans.
“Thank you for the dance.” She stood there awkwardly for a moment. When she looked up at him again, he was just staring at her closely. She smiled uncertainly at him and then turned on her heel to walk to the bar and grab her bag.
“Wait!” She stopped in her tracks and looked back over her shoulder. “Can I walk you to your car?”
“No, it’s ok.” She shook her head with a slight smile, “I parked under a light.”
She grabbed her bag quickly off the bar where Travis set it and with a quick wave she headed toward the door. As she made it out of the bar into the parking lot, she began taking deep gulping breaths of fresh air.
“Why did he make me so nervous?” she asked herself. It’s just ridiculous. As she rummaged through her bag for her keys, she looked up to notice her dance partner’s tall friend leaning against a dark colored muscle car, parked a few spaces away from her Jeep. He wasn’t watching her exactly, but she could feel eyes on her. With keys in hand she unlocked the door and glanced toward the bar.
Standing in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe watching her was “Smoking Hot Flannel Guy”. He lifted his hand in a wave, she smiled and waved back. She jumped in her Jeep, cranked the engine and with Bob Seger’s “Her Strut” blaring from the speakers, she peeled out of the gravel parking lot with the silliest grin plastered on her face.
Tumblr media
The roads were deserted this time of night as she drove like a bat out of hell, which is normal, no concern there, towards her little two-bedroom bungalow. Suddenly a light bulb went off in her head and she slammed on her brakes in the middle of the two-lane road. Quickly she looked in the rear-view mirror to make sure someone wasn’t about to plow right into the ass end of her Jeep.
She began banging on her steering wheel “Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit!” Y/N couldn’t believe it. She never even asked him what his name was. She was a people person, she always asked people their name. His mere presence made her so unsettled she forgot to ask a simple question. He didn’t ask what her name was either. “Well,” her mental dialogue began “maybe he would have if you let him walk you to your Jeep.”
“Ugh,” she thumped her head against the head rest. “This is what happens when you rarely find someone attractive.” She shook her head slightly. “You totally forget how to construct a sentence like a basic human being.”
She clutched the steering wheel and jammed her foot on the gas toward home. Her euphoric mood quickly dissipating. Y/N was never going to see the tall, handsome stranger again and she didn’t even know his damn name.

Azula Week 2020: Day 5 -Fireflies In A Cloud
Prompt: Smiles Pair: Toph/Azula Song: Zac Brown Band - Chicken Fried
Summary: It is Azula's turn to pick the activity and she takes Toph to a beach barbecue.
She doesn’t think that she has ever been happier. Every day is a new adventure and a new kind of smile. It is nice to smile after so long of not being able to, after so many times where the smile only reaches her lips. Azula supposes that it makes sense that she can smile so much now considering who she spends most of her days with.
The girl in question slaps her back between the shoulder blades and pushes a blue raspberry slushie into her hand. Azula hears the clatter of a skateboard and Toph fixes her green baseball cap, backwards, onto Azula’s head.
“So what are our plans for today?” Toph asks.
Azula shrugs. “You usually pick the places.”
“Exactly, that’s why I’m leaving it up to you this time.”
Azula thinks for a moment. They haven’t snuck into a nightclub in a while. But she thinks that they might be overdue for a calmer kind of day or night. “What about the beach? I heard that there is going to be a barbeque and a firework display.”
“Beach sounds great, but don’t expect your girl  to go in the water.” Toph declares.
“I’m not much of a water person either.” Azula shrugs. It is her way of subtly noting that she is actually rather afraid of the water, largely due in part to that she can’t swim.
“Then why the beach?”
“Because I’m a suntan and sunglasses kind of person.”
“You’re definitely a sun person.” Toph says, “ya know, minus the happy sunshiney demeanor.”
“I’m not…!” She starts
“I didn’t say you were a stormcloud either.” Toph shrugs. “I’m just saying that you don’t shit rainbows and glitter like TyLee and Katata!” Azula crinkles her nose. And just because Toph is well aware of how she reacts to the crass imagery she continues, “you’re more of a flaming shitter, like when you eat…”
Azula swats her with the magazine she had been reading, “you need to stop.”
“You should see your face right now! I mean I can’t either, but, like I have my imagination and it is hilarious.”
To be honest, Azula can’t imagine that Toph’s mental image is too far off.
“Hey, wanna try my skateboard?”
Azula peers at Toph’s skinned knees and neon bandaids. “Depends, how often am I going to get scrapes like those?”
“Depends how good you are. You’re good at almost every sport and you’ve got good balance, so I think you can handle it. We can go skating on the boardwalk!”
“So that I can land on my ass, not just in front of you, but the entire beach and then some.”
“Exactly!” Toph declares. “Your therapist did say to do some shame attacking activities.”
Azula rolls her eyes, “sounds fantastic. And since you can’t tell I’m…”
“Rolling my eyes?” Toph fills in. “I feel like your eyes are rolling more than they aren’t.”
.oOo.
The beach is rather packed. Toph is sticking band aids to Azula’s freshly bleeding knee. She misses several times until they begin playing a game of ‘hot, cold’. “Absolutely on fire.” Azula mutters as Toph hovers the bandaid over Azula’s scrap.
Toph grins and sticks it down. Azula now wears a very bright and electric blue dinosaur print bandaid that doesn’t match her ripped jean shorts and her red, gold dragon print crop top. Perhaps she should have worn the blue flame shirt with the black backdrop.
She adjusts her gold framed sunglasses and the hat Toph insisted that she keep on for the duration of the barbecue. Even Toph is more color coordinated than she is. Her neon green bandaids match her faded, muddied shorts and her deep green sports jersey. ‘Laogai Lizards 03’ it reads in white text. Her sneakers are white and decorated with lines and doodled stars of green sharpie.
The smell of burnt hamburgers drifts over the boardwalk. “I’m going to guess that the barbeque has begun.” Azula comments.
“Did you get the stuff?” Toph asks.
Azula loads the skateboard into her car and retrieves a bagful of sparklers and smoke bombs.
Toph grins mischievously. “Perfect.”
The sun is well on its way down by the time they make their way onto the beach. Azula spies Zuko mingling with Jet and Katara. Sokka is off with Suki and Aang, engaged in a game of beach volleyball. And Mai is suffering through TyLee weaving seashells into her locks.
"Burger or wiener?" Chan asks.
"Can't you just call it a hotdog like everyone else?" Azula asks.
"Burger it is m'lady." He plucks a patty onto a bun, squeezes an absurd amount of ketchup and mustard onto it, and hands it to Azula.
"And for you?" Chan looks at Toph.
"One wiener and one burger."
"Of course!" He hands her her food.
Azula finds them a spot on the beach and spreads their towels down. She pats the spot in her lap. She remembers that the gesture means nothing to Toph when the girl plops herself down next to Azula instead. She slings an arm over Azula's shoulder.
For the longest while they simply sit there, Azula starring at the darkening sky and Toph taking in the smell of the multiple fires lighting up the sand. Palm fronds dance in the breeze as the first firework lunches into the air.
Toph jolts. She rubs the back of her head, "gee, princess, you sure know how to pick the fun activities."
"That one was orange, it kind of drooped down like a shower faucet." Azula describes as she massages Toph's shoulders. That is how they spend the next hour or so. Fireworks bursting and Azula doing her best to paint an image of them in Toph's mind.
"Challenge mode!" Toph declares at the grand finale as Azula struggles to keep pace with the sparkling bursts.
After the show wraps up, Azula leads the two of them down the beach. Water tugs and pushes the sand as the tide recedes. ."Here, hold this." Azula places two smoke bombs in either of her hands; one blue and one green. She draws a match and lights them and then lights a sparkler to herself.
"Now picture this."
Toph nods.
"There are two large billowing clouds, one green and one blue. And in them, a bunch of fireflies blink. They're small and bright yellow, bright enough to be seen through the smoke."
"Sounds pretty badass." Toph says.
"It's quite beautiful." Azula comments as she waves the sparkler through the smoke.
"Ya know what else is beautiful?" Toph asks.
"Me?" Azula asks.
"Well I was gonna say that noise Sokka makes when you step on his little toe. But yeah, I guess that you're beautiful too."
Azula gives a humored sniff. "Truly, that is actually a hideous noise."
Toph gives one of her booming laughs. "Man, we should do this again some time, princess. It's not as daring and adventurous but we should do it again."
"We will." Azula replies. She sets her finished sparkler to the side and kisses the other girl. "And many more things."

“Rules: You can usually tell a lot about a person by the type of music they listen to! Put your playlist on shuffle and list the first 10 songs, and then tag 10 people! No skipping!” Now I know there’s no such thing as a guilty pleasure, there are just things that I like and people can sod off, but I followed @theburialofstrawberries’s instructions and by some small miracle I didn’t feel sufficiently exposed™ by the results of this shuffle, so I have provided editorialisation in brackets to really twist the knife on my shame
1. Paul - Big Thief (when I heart this song I envisage a dramatic montage where Reed and RK900 break up over communication issues because I’ve got great taste in music but terrible taste in video games) 2. I Love You Like A Madman - The Wave Pictures (this is actually just a really cool song, the instrumentation and vocal performance is really evocative but the lyrics are deeply fun) 3. Shelter From The Storm (1976 Live Version) - Bob Dylan (embarrassing fact! I first learned about this version of this song, and gained pretentious opinions about its superiority to the studio version, from a Destiel AU fic like eight years ago) 4. Do Your Thing - Basement Jaxx (features on my playlist I Just Robbed A Casino) 5. Violet Gibson - Lisa O’Neil (this is a very intense song about a lady who tried to assassinate Mussolini and spent test of her life in a mental asylum, and I saw Lisa O’Neil play it live when she opened for Iron & Wine and Calexico last November, wherein I was sat dead centre front row damn near seeing Sam Beam SWEAT, which was honestly kind of intense and unfortunately meant he did see me cry real tears) 6. Townie - Mitzi (this is not the Mitzi song that touches my rawest insecurity but it is the one that I cathartically scream along to in the car) 7. Knee Deep - Jimmy Buffett & Zac Brown Band (I had a case of the Mondays... I just wanted to live on island time...) 8. Norgaard - The Vaccines (features on my playlist Songs To Make People At House Parties Think I’m Cool) 9. New Rules (Initial Talk Remix) - Dua Lipa (this is the officially endorsed 80s remix and reflects my need to feel like I have ever-so-slightly more obscure music taste than people around me but also like, see item 2, so) 10. Such A Night - Elvis Presley (I only have this saved because on an episode of Queer Eye a cover version was the wedding song of a hero when he got married at the end)

Tagged by @ikesenhell, thanks for the questions!
Rules: answer these questions then tag 20 blogs you’d like to know better
Nickname: There’s a long list but the most common ones are Torrie, Tor, or T you may pick
Zodiac Sign: Virgo
Height:  5′5″ I think it’s average right? Most people I know are 5′10″ or taller so I don’t even know anymore...
Time: 11:22 pm
Favorite band/artist: Krewella?? They’re probably one of the only artists I don’t skip songs on when I shuffle...I’ve been really diggin Valley and Nefex lately though. Sorry. My taste in music is literally all over the place.
Song stuck in my head: It was ‘Knee Deep’ by Zac Brown Band but then I ready Yesha’s post and now it’s ‘Mr. Brightside’ Thanks Yesha
Last movie I saw: Winnie the Pooh...judge me!
Last thing I googled: Sticky things that seep from trees
Other blogs: Got my personal, you can find it in the description if you’re really curious...significantly more anime found there...mostly just for browsing the depths of tumblr...
Do I get asks: Occasionally
Why did I chose this username: I wanted something creative and passed a little girl selling lemonade at the top of my street...and...it just sort of happened
Following: 369 (coincidentally a very pleasing number for me to look at...) It’s sort of fantastic! Thanks everyone for reading my stuff! :)
Average amount of sleep: 6 hours? If I’m lucky
Lucky number: anything that adds up to 9 idk...specifically 27...idk why, don’t ask...
What am I wearing: My boyfriends sweatshirt and some volleyballs shorts
Dream job: I’m living the dream baby! But honestly...maybe a travel guide/agent
Dream trip: I want to see the Amalfi coast...like really bad
Favorite food: Mac and Cheese...no contest
Play any instruments: I sing...does that count?
Eye color: Brown with a bit of amber if you look really really hard in direct sunlight. (so...brown)
Hair color: Naturally it’s as dark brown as you can get before you would consider it black, and unfortunately at this ripe young age of mine (23)...there’s some gray...life is stressful. I do have wild streaks of purple kind of all over the place, that’s pretty fun.
Describe yourself as aesthetic things: A firework show in the middle of summer over the ocean; Water reflecting on the bottom of a pool on a sunny day; A drive in a convertible on a breezy day,top down with an open road; A corner in the library on a rainy day; The sound of bare feet running on wet concrete during a thunderstorm

Eagles and Jimmy Buffett in Minneapolis, June 30, 2018
Here's my complete review of the Eagles concert at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN.
Now that I've gotten my thoughts together about Saturday's Eagles concert in Minneapolis, it's time to post about it!
First off, I want to mention that the venue of Target Field was... hectic, to say the least. There was seemingly one entrance to the whole stadium where everyone had to file through and go through bag checks and metal detectors. Apparently there were over 42,000 people at the show, so you can imagine the pace of just getting through the line to go in!
It was incredibly hot, surprisingly, for a Minnesotan summer day. Jimmy Buffett even called it "tropical." It would have been considered uncomfortable and almost unbearable if the anticipation of seeing the Eagles play hadn't set in. But, Jimmy Buffett came first as an opening act, and thankfully arrived promptly to the stage right at 7.
I'm no "Parrothead," but I found Jimmy and his Coral Reefer Band's set to be enjoyable. He played all of his recognizable hits, like "Cheeseburger in Paradise," "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes," "Come Monday," and "Margaritaville." He also played "Knee Deep" and "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," songs that were originally recorded with Zac Brown and Alan Jackson, respectively. I was also impressed with his cover of Crosby Stills and Nash's "Southern Cross," a crowd-pleaser that brought everyone together to sing along to the chorus, as well as Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl." He also included the live rarity "Gypsies in the Palace," which he attributed beforehand as a co-write with his late friend and former neighbor, Glenn Frey.
Walking around the stadium and seeing the droves of fans, I found it striking that so many of them had on Margaritaville t-shirts and parrot hats. One guy seated in my section was swinging his hips to "Fins" wearing a belly-baring tube top, a skirt, and a hat piled high with an assortment of fruits. He looked like the mascot for Chiquita bananas!
After reading the review of the show in the Pioneer Press, I was surprised that the reviewer called Jimmy's music "terrible." Are his lyrics filled with deep meaning? For the most part, no. But his music is something enjoyable that you can get up and sing along to. It's also the first show I've seen where the crowd bops beach balls back and forth throughout the whole stadium. Something about that was oddly appealing to me, even though I got hit in the face with an errant ball not just once, but twice. 😂 His set just gave off a chill, easygoing vibe that I think set up the Eagles show pretty well. And I'm sure Jimmy doesn't care one bit that the Pioneer Press called his music terrible... I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank, considering he's got a successful Broadway musical to his name, as well as Margaritaville retirement communities and his own Land Shark Lager beer.
FUN FACT: According to the Wikipedia article on "Parrotheads," Timothy B. Schmit was the one to coin the term during his tenure with the Coral Reefer Band.
Now, onto the Eagles set. They opened the show promptly at 9 PM with "Seven Bridges Road," which I thought was a great song for an opener; it was a song that I thought should have been in the set list for the History of the Eagles tour. The three remaining Eagles' voices meshed with new voices Vince Gill and Deacon Frey perfectly, and it shows that they've really been working at perfecting the harmonies in this new phase of the band. The second song was "Take It Easy," which introduced Deacon Frey on lead vocals. Later when Don introduced Deacon to the crowd, he said, "We are particularly delighted, our hearts are full, and we are grateful to have Glenn's son Deacon up here with us." The crowd erupted into applause as Deacon emerged into the spotlight to soak it all in for a few seconds, wearing a Minnesota Twins jersey with "Frey" emblazoned on the back. As the applause died down, Deacon thanked the crowd and went on to say that he had spent some time in Minnesota before, saying, "My dad used to take me fishing in Brainerd." Some can recall that Glenn played a concert with Deacon in Brainerd in 2008 at the Manhattan Beach Lodge. It was probably one of the first, if not the first time that Deacon took the stage with his dad publicly. Fast forward ten years, and that young man's playing in front of 42,000 people at Target Field! I'm sure Glenn would be so proud of how cool, calm, and collected Deacon is onstage! He delivered solid performances on "Already Gone" and "Peaceful Easy Feeling," and I honestly believe that he's perfectly capable of handling more of Glenn's songs in concert.
The third song was "One of These Nights," and I was honestly in awe that Don Henley could still hit those high notes almost spot-on, after all these years! Next up was "Take It To The Limit," which introduced Vince Gill on lead vocals, and, in my opinion, it was perfection. He seemed to hit all the high notes just right, and I would venture to say that it's the best I've seen the song performed since Randy Meisner sang lead vocals on it in the 70s.
Can we just talk about how great Vince Gill is for a second? Not only does the guy have the voice of an angel (seriously, look up his solo work if you aren't familiar with it), but he can keep up and hold his own playing guitar licks, too! I'm thrilled that he's playing with the Eagles now, because I've been a fan of his for a long time. His backing vocals add something special to the mix, too, especially on songs like "I Can't Tell You Why," where he's singing harmony to Timothy's lead vocals. Vince recorded his own version of "I Can't Tell You Why" for the Common Thread album of Eagles covers, and that's a great listen, too!
Some reviewers have said that Timothy's voice sounds "rougher" than it used to, but in my opinion, it still sounds really good. As I said before, Vince and Timothy's voices compliment each other well, and Timothy gave great performances of "I Can't Tell You Why" and "Love Will Keep Us Alive."
I was pleasantly surprised to hear a track from Long Road Out of Eden played at this show, with Deacon and Don trading lead vocal duties on "How Long." I actually captured a video of the full song, so I'll post that soon. It also shocked me that Don didn't sing as many songs as he used to during this tour, but instead chose to stay in the background, playing drums. I suppose this is all by design, to get the audience acquainted to the new faces in the band, but I still missed hearing him sing songs like "The Long Run" and "Victim of Love." Still, his live renditions of "Witchy Woman," "Life in the Fast Lane," and "Those Shoes" can't be beat!
Another welcomed surprise was the addition of a Vince Gill solo song to the mix, "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away." Vince traded a few guitar licks with Joe Walsh and Steuart Smith, and the audience ate it up. I heard a guy in the stands behind me yell, "Atta boy, Vince!" Atta boy, indeed.
Speaking of guitar riffs, I should mention that this latest incarnation of the band has not just one or two, but THREE skilled guitar players between Joe, Vince, and Steuart. I have no other words to describe Joe's playing on Saturday except that he kicked ass! In my opinion, he's got to be one of the greatest guitar players of all time, and it still shows to this day when he just blows everyone away with his guitar licks. From "Funk #49" to "Rocky Mountain Way," Joe had the audience up and energized!
Just to mention a few random tidbits:
•Don began the show by saying, "We are gonna play about two and a half hours of music for you... because we can!" 👏 👏 👏 I was so relieved to hear that the Eagles are still a band that plays 25 awesome songs every night!
•The horn section is back in action! They played a big part in the performance of "Funk #49" and the instrumental horn introduction to "Hotel California."
•Since I mentioned "Hotel California," I'll mention that NOTHING beats the sound of 42,000 people singing right along with Don, and the rhythm of that fantastic guitar duel between Joe and Steuart... absolutely nothing!
•The screen graphics for this tour are pretty cool. Songs that had graphics that stood out to me were "Witchy Woman" and "Hotel California." Both gave off a creepy-in-a-good-way vibe, with "Witchy Woman" panning past scraggly-looking trees and barbed wire fences in a night lit by a full moon, and "Hotel California" passing through the empty, tiled corridors of the mysterious hotel. My description doesn't do it justice... just go see a show to see it in person!
•A photo of Glenn was projected on the screen at the end of "Peaceful Easy Feeling," and I came close to crying. Not out of sadness, totally, but for the fact that Deacon was up on stage, doing such a great job of keeping his dad's legacy alive.
•The main difference I noticed between this show and the one I had seen when Glenn was alive was how much I missed Glenn's jokes. Now the joking is almost solely Joe's thing, and I miss hearing, "This was written for my first wife, Plaintiff," before "Lyin' Eyes," among other things.
•I also miss Glenn's band intros. We all know that Glenn was an illustrious master of ceremonies at Eagles shows, and he always took the time to introduce each and every member of the band, along with where they were from.
All things considered, the Eagles still know how to put on a good show, even without Glenn. Moving forward with Deacon and Vince singing Glenn's songs is keeping his legacy alive for future generations of Eagles fans. And while things will never be quite the same without Glenn, I'm sure glad that these guys chose to continue playing together, "because (they) can," and I can't wait to attend another show!

"Knee Deep" - Zac Brown Band - Theme Song for Honu Point
Tumblr media
Every Tuesday night my girlfriends and I head into Lihue to go dancing (Tom is not a fan so he stays home). For years Rob's Good Times Grill (think "Cheers") on Rice Street has allowed our dance group to play our music from 7:30 to 10:00. We have fun dancing Swing, Cha Cha, Niteclub 2-Step, Country 2-Step, Salsa and more. For the rest of the people at the restaurant, we are quite the entertainment.
Darrel and I take turns creating a musical playlist each week. One song Darrel always includes is "Knee Deep" by the Zac Brown Band (featuring Jimmy Buffet). Every time it comes on my girlfriend starts singing and says, "That should be the theme song for Honu Point." So, finally, I thought I would share it with you, just for fun. I have included two videos and the lyrics. Let me know what you think.
Knee Deep
Gonna put the world away for a minute Pretend I don't live in it Sunshine gonna wash my blues away Had sweet love but I lost it She got too close so I fought it Now I'm lost in the world tryin' to find me a better way
Wishin' I was Knee deep in the water somewhere Got the blue sky, breeze and it don't seem fair The only worry in the world Is the tide gonna reach my chair Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky Never been so happy Never felt so high And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise
Wrote a note, said "Be back in a minute" Bought a boat and I sailed off in it Don't think anybody's gonna miss me anyway Mind on a permanent vacation The ocean is my only medication Wishin' my condition ain't ever gonna go away
'Cause now I'm knee deep in the water somewhere Got the blue sky breeze blowin' wind through my hair Only worry in the world Is the tide gonna reach my chair Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky Never been so happy Never felt so high And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise
This champagne shore watchin' over me It's a sweet sweet life livin' by the salty sea One day you can be as lost as me Change your geography and maybe you might be
Knee deep in the water somewhere Got the blue sky breeze blowin' wind through my hair Only worry in the world Is the tide gonna reach my chair Sunrise, there's a fire in the sky Never been so happy Never felt so high And I think I might have found me my own kind of paradise
Come on in The waters nice Find yourself a little slice Grab a backpack Otherwise you'll never know until you try When you lose yourself You find a key to paradise
Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Coy Bowles / Zac Brown / Wyatt Durrette / Jeffrey Steele Knee Deep lyrics © Reach Music Publishing, Blackstone Entertainment
You do not have to be running away from something to find what they are singing about. We have plenty of blue skies, firey sunrises and "knee deep" water on Kauai. In fact, SeaLodge Beach (pictured above) is directly below Honu Point. So, think about changing your geography for a week or two and coming to the Garden Island. You just may be able to "lose yourself" and "find the key to Paradise."
BTW, come dance with us at Rob's while you're at it!

Sophomore year of high school my family had a boat we would take out on Lake Lanier almost every weekend. One weekend my parents let me drive the boat alone and bring some friends out for the evening while they sat back on the dock. Up until this point I NEVER liked country music but for some reason I really enjoyed “Knee Deep” by The Zac Brown Band.  I just imagined myself on the beach with my friends hanging out having a good time. Now this song is my buddies from high school and I’s anthem. We play is all the time and it just reminds us of the unbreakable bond and good memories we have together.

We are the only place in the world where these baseball bats are made and you’re walking right through the heart of our production line. We just renovated our factory tour, so it’s a whole new experience. And our next stop is renovating our galleries and our store. We had sort of a red, white and blue stars and stripes logo for him with his arched John Fogerty logo. We can’t wait to get our hands on that after he’s signed it and put it out for folks to see,” Jewell mentioned. “Even folks who aren’t that big of baseball fans but are music fans, we get a chance to tell them a little bit of the story of baseball too.”

Chef Rusty handles Brown’s “Eat and Greet” every night time on tour and options a wide range of recipes on his web site, together with his tackle a New Orleans basic.
“On stage, I did a Louisiana barbecue shrimp which means just shrimp in a pan with compound butter and spices and stuff. Then I flamed it with the bourbon and it came out really well. Anything you use white wine in, almost, you can use bourbon in,” Hamlin advised Forbes backstage Sunday afternoon. “Lately I’ve been taking different barrel ash and using it for curing fish or turning it around and doing brines with it. You can incorporate that ash into a brine and it really, really helps to bring out the flavor. But, when it comes to infusing anything from sauce to ice cream, you can definitely use bourbon.”
Hamlin’s cooking for the band options bourbon in a wide range of methods and Zac Brown Band multi-instrumentalist John Driskell Hopkins and bassist Matt Mangano are each followers of the spirit.
“I’ve been hanging out today with Angel’s Envy and with the Pappy Van Winkle group. It’s great to see the families come together and this unity behind a product that everyone all over the world can enjoy,” mentioned Hopkins backstage.

“I enjoy the bourbon,” Mangano advised Forbes. “Having a bourbon is historically a gentleman’s drink and it sort of brings people together who might not normally sit together. You can sit down at a bar next to somebody and strike up a conversation about your bourbon. It’s just a fun social idea to hang out and have a whiskey and to be surrounded by so many different craftsmen too,” he continued, noting the pageant environment.
Zac Brown Band was a success Sunday night time working up their fiddle-fueled tackle cuts like “Knee Deep” early, finally working in covers ranging anyplace from Charlie Daniels Band (“Devil Went Down to Georgia”) or Kings of Leon (“Use Somebody”) to Dave Matthews Band (“Too Much”).
The totally different sounds and types explored Sunday night time at Bourbon and Beyond acted as an amazing primer for the group’s sixth studio album The Owl, which was launched final Friday and covers huge musical floor.
“I been waitin’ on this all day!” mentioned Brown, opening Sunday night time’s co-headlining set with “Homegrown.” “We’re so happy to be sharing the stage with these legends,” he continued, noting weekend performers like Fogerty, Robert Plant and ZZ Top.

“When I was at Justin’s, I tried a bourbon called Old Blowhard, which is what my kids call me,” Carolla joked of a cease at Justin’s House of Bourbon in Lexington, Kentucky. “I took a shine to that. I basically like the really expensive bourbon when it’s free.”
Elsewhere on the Sunday music slate, Edie Brickell carried out alongside the New Bohemians.

The affect of the Grateful Dead was notable within the guitar taking part in of Brickell and authentic New Bohemian Kenneth Neil Winthrow throughout a lightweight, bouncy early afternoon set Sunday.
“Serving up a little teen angst,” joked Brickell. “There’s a little part of that that’s still alive in me,” she continued establishing “Circle.

ZZ Top set the stage for Zac Brown with a rollicking biggest hits set that began robust with “Got Me Under Pressure.”
Guitarist Billy Gibbons and bass participant Dusty Hill strutted in sync to the foot of the stage, pointing at each other as “I Thank You” kicked in subsequent.
The group’s patented fuzzy guitars have been out for “Legs” and Hill appeared to the group, cupping his ear, hamming it up as Gibbons took over “La Grange.”
“Tush” was a efficiency throughout which Hill dealt with the lead vocal, permitting Gibbons to get pleasure from a cigar as he ripped off a scorching slide guitar solo.
“We’ve been coming around here for 50 years,” noticed Gibbons of the group’s historical past in Louisville, introducing bandmates Hill and drummer Frank Beard. “Same three guys right here, same three chords.”

MSR (Midnight Star Review) - Zac Brown Band - Welcome Home
So today I will be reviewing the newest album from the Zac Brown Band titled “Welcome home”. Zac Brown Band released this album on May 12th, 2017.
And the lead single off of this album was “My old man” which is their tribute to Fathers all over the world but also telling their experience with their dads. The second single that has started to be played on radios is “Roots”. This track tells you about how when you grow up and you move away and you can never outrun your roots.
A stand out song is “2 places at 1 time”. It would be better to be in 2 places at 1 time. And also Kacey Musgraves joins Zac Brown Band on “Trying to drive”. And Pharrell Williams join Zac Brown Band on “All the best”. Pharrell Williams we know from the voice with Blake Shelton.
Other songs we have heard from Zac Brown Band are “Chicken fried” which got country radio to start playing them. “Colder Weather”, “As she’s walking away” which features Alan Jackson, and “Knee Deep” which features Jimmy Buffet.
On this album there is 10 tracks. And here they are.
Track list 1. Roots 2. Real Thing 3. Long Haul 4. 2 Places At 1 Time 5. Family Table 6. My Old Man 7. Start Over 8. Your Majesty 9. Trying To Drive 10. All The Best
And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review) I would have to give this cd a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I felt like this album is a great addition to my collection. Zac Brown Band and his band never seem to disappoint as always. Thanks for taking the time to read this review. See ya all next time.

I was tagged by @ilovethings-somuch - Thank you for this!! Sorry it took me so long to get this done!
Rules: 1. Always post the rules. 2. Answer the questions given by the person who tagged you. 3. Write 11 questions of your own. 4. Tag 11 people.
1. What’s the craziest, or most exciting thing you’ve ever done?
Ummmm.... nothing exciting really ever happens? Iowa is pretty boring. Closest thing to any of these is gonna be the time I hid in my closet and scared the crap out of my roommate.
2. What’s your favorite thing about yourself?
Oh goodness, that’s hard. If we’re talking physical features, I’m gonna go with my eyes. Maybe it’s the artist in me talking, but eyes in general are fascinating, and mine are this weird mix of green and brown. Like, the outside ring is a dark, dark greenish brown. Then there’s a green bit, but right around the pupil is definitely brown.
If we’re talking just anything, I’d have to go with either my ability to make people laugh or the one to have a snappy, witty comeback when someone pisses me off. It’s just fun to make people smile! Admittedly, the comeback one is more smiling for spectators, but I get defensive fairly quickly (more so than I should, but oh well...)
3. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a veterinarian (still do, tbh - actually going to school for my bachelor’s in bio right now). It started when I watched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and my obsession grew from there. But I saw it pretty young
4. Favorite song and why?
Knee Deep by Zac Brown Band (with Jimmy Buffett). I dunno why, really. It’s just a song that I can go back to and always be in the mood for. It relaxes me, even though I can’t quite hit all the notes when I sing along, haha.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just like it, I guess.
5. Do you have any reoccurring dreams? or if not, what’s the wildest dream you’ve ever had?
In all honesty, I don’t really ever remember my good dreams. The only reoccurring one I can think of is a nightmare I’ve been having since I was a kid. I mean it’s reoccurring, but I won’t subject y’all to that. Wildest dream... also a nightmare, but it’s slightly less terrifying. Basic gist (read as: filtered for consumption) is that I’m going for a walk in my neighborhood when some squirrel runs across the sidewalk in front of me. The squirrel proceeds to turn into this giant porcupine-esque monster, and suddenly I’m running for my life alongside most of my friends.
6. Who’s the most important person in your life right now?
Laura, the person who has been my best friend since junior high. She’s pretty great. We’ve written an entire book together (trust me when I say it needs some major reworking  complete overhauling) and hung out, and we have so many inside jokes it’s not even funny.
7. If money was no object, what would you do in life?
I’d travel the world. Cliche as it sounds, I really really want to. And I’d learn all the languages I could fit in my brain. And learn to play the guitar and just about any instrument I could get my hands on. And write books. And ride horses more (like, have my own, actually go to competitions, etc.)... I guess I have a bunch of things
8. What’s your most prized possession (excluding electronic devices)
My horse, but I don’t really own her (yes, I’m pulling a Chris Evans here, though I really mean it - she technically isn’t mine).
As far as things I actually own, I’d go with my flute.
9.  What’s your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
Curled up under a blanket with a book, for sure.
10. Are you superstitious?
Nope.
11. What are some small things that make you happy?
When something reminds someone of me (fingers crossed it’s a good thing); warm sun on my back;  days when my hair/makeup actually cooperate; walking in the rain; days mum doesn’t yell; getting a new book and it having new book smell; a clean stall after I’ve just mucked it out; just cruising along in the car...
My 11 Questions
1. What would you ask a genie for if you got only one wish? (no asking for more wishes, rules from Aladdin apply)
2. Favorite season and why? (For those confused, this means like winter, fall, spring, summer. Not seasons of a show)
3. What do you want in life, more than anything else?
4. Coolest thing you’ve ever learned?
5. If the Doctor came and offered you one trip in the TARDIS, where and when would you go and why?
6. Are you a pillow or a book and why? (My roommate had a game where we would come up with two things, and you had to decide which you were and why, so this is slightly less random than it looks)
7. What fictional character do you wish would show up on your doorstep?
8. Paper books or e-books?
9.  What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
10. One thing you’d like to change about the world?
11. What are some small things that make you happy?
Alrighty, now I’m gonna tag some people. Feel free to not do it, or if I didn’t tag you but you want to then go for it!

Okay. Maybe slight unpopular opinion time. This isn’t an attack on anyone, and if you do this I will get over it. But when people liberally use italics, bold, and underlines to stylize posts. Coming from an academic writing background, each of those writing formats has a meaning and a use. And I will read your posts just as you stylized it. I emphasize bold in my mind, it’s hard to describe how italics sound but it is different, and underline is… well, again, it’s hard to explain. My mind focuses and highlights depending on how you write it. If someone has too stylized a formatting post and uses those too much, it can make it really hard for me to get a feel for the voice. It feels cluttered and I can’t tell what is actually important and what is just there for style’s sake. I mean, everything is important, but like- I prefer keeping bold, underline, and italics for very precise occasions. A result of writing training in an academic environment perhaps XD But like I said, it’s not a deal breaker- I just might have a bit of trouble reading your post.
🌹 = my opinion on your character
I honestly at first didn’t give too much thought to Croc. He was the arc’s villain, he was an asshole, cold and conniving, calculating. A good villain, but I didn’t think I’d need to care too much about him past the arc. And then he showed up again way later and I got to see more of his character when he’s not putting on a show. And well, he became a character type that I very much enjoy. A character who doesn’t really go by ‘good’ and ‘evil’ - who does what he wants and acts on whims. I loved seeing him help save Luffy, if for no other reason than to not let the Marines have their way. Personally, that switch right there shows so much more into his character than what we got when he was just being a scheming sonuvabitch. It gives room to play with his character further, and I love seeing writers such as yourself really explore a character we’ve been given little- but significant- pieces of.
🌻 = a character I wish to write with
I want to write with more Marines to be honest, especially Marines who have misconceptions about Shanks as a person. I love playing with those sorts of relationships and situations, and I feel I haven’t been able to explore that too much with him. Most seem to be willing to listen to Shanks or willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, which can be fun too, but I’d like to write more conflict. Also, royalty. I dunno, but it’s one of my favorite romantic tropes- a princess or noble with a pirate/rogue of sorts. So any princesses of any fandom even XD Perhaps this goes under my reasoning for writing with a Marine. Oh, and more specifically in terms of Marine, a Coby would be very fun I think. Especially after the war.
🌼 = a song I identify with your character
Mr. Sandman  Nah XD For some reason, I can’t not associate 40′ by Franz Ferdinand with Crocodile. It’s weird and odd I know but XD Sorry!
🌷 = a song I identify with my character
I can never listen to Knee Deep by the Zac Brown Band without thinking about Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates.

All the asks!!!
Oh my. This was a lot. XD Some are repeats from other asks just so you know.•bubble bath: do you have any routines before bedtime? like skin care, etc. what are they?Hoo boy. You're asking someone who cares almost the LEAST about themselves. XD It's generally just wipe my face with a wet washcloth and brush my teeth. That's about it. And acne cream (Woohoo).•champagne: what topic could you talk about for hours?Batfamily...•crushed velvet: have you ever used your charm to get something you want?Nope. If I have, it was totally unintentional. I have no charm. XD•diamonds: how do you feel about excessively spending money?I hate it. I feel super guilty after.•faux fur: describe your wardrobe.Tank tops, t-shirts, shorts and jeans. All pretty normal stuff. I have some nice dresses that I wear on occasion.•glitter: describe someone special to you.Oh dear. I have too many special people, and I'd feel bad if I didn't include a few of them. So I'll describe my dog. He's a dork who thinks he's human (I kid you not, he likes to sit at tables and play on trampolines.) He loves snuggles, to give kisses and be as close to you as he possibly can. He also loves to dance. He's a strange, sweet dog with a bad habit of burping in people's faces.•gold: describe what you would call the most perfect meal.Olive Garden's salad, soup and breadsticks. And then a big slice of apple crisp with ice cream. TwT•jazz: name a song that resonates with you and your emotions. explain the reason why.Oh boy. I hate looking into my personal emotional stuff. I don't touch those things with a ten foot pole. But I guess "Lion" by Hollywood Undead? I tend to resonate with strong, powerful things because I like that feeling. Not in a "I'll crush you and destroy you" sort of way, but a protective and strong way. Does that make sense? It mentions some stuff about things one has gone through, and stuff like that. And I want people to see me as something strong and know that I'm ferocious to those who hurt those important to me.I guess? I don't really like to share thoughts about something like this, so that's why this is kinda vague. Sorry. :(•lace: what is something in your life completely different from last year?Uhhhhh... not much. *shrug* I lost weight? I guess?•lingerie: do you consider yourself a promiscuous person?PSSSH NO•lipstick: do you enjoy talking to strangers? Not really. I'm pretty nervous around people I don't know if I'm invited to a gathering or party or something. Unless I'm with a friend, then I step up.•pearls: what's something about your personality that surprises others?I'm pretty mild, super apologetic and sweet around people who I don't know. But when I get to know people or they hear from others they know that I'm aggressive and highly opinionated around my friends, it surprises them. X3 (I'm still super apologetic and sweet... I hope.)•penthouse: what would you consider your dream home? describe it.I have two moods, sometimes it's a small log cabin on a hill in the woods or a nice cottage down by the beach. ❤•perfume: if you could make your own signature fragrance, what would it smell like?Huh, I dunno. I don't wear perfume because it aggravates my asthma. But something citrus would probably be my choice.•robe: how do you prepare for an evening alone with a loved one/date?Well... I've never been on a date. So I have no clue. But I guess shower, dress nicely and actually put on eyeshadow instead of just mascara? I'm not entirely sure. ^^; I'm not very good at girl things.•roses: If it had to be winter, autumn, spring or summer for the rest of your life, which would you choose?Hoooooooo boy that's hard... Spring maybe? Because it's not too hot, but there are some nice warm days. Plus I love all the foliage starting to grow. :O But I don't like the allergies. X3 So hm. I'm stumped... Let's go with summer. TANK TOPS WOO!!!•satin: what is your most favorite article of clothing? My summer butterfly dress. ❤•sheet mask: what's your favorite lazy activity?Lounging in bed and watching shows. And sleeping.•silk: do you have more inner or outer beauty?I have no clue. ^^; Inner maybe?•silver: do you have any obscure hobbies? what are they?I don't think I do. >:d I collect Japanese soda bottles, does that count?•sparkling water: what are your top three songs for the summer?Ocean by Boy Kiss GirlMermaid by TrainKnee Deep by Zac Brown Band•wine: what kind of drunk are you (happy/affectionate, angry, sad, fun/wild)? if you don't drink, what kind do you think you WOULD be?I've never been drunk (and don't ever plan on it personally), so I'm not sure. Maybe a very affectionate one? Or sometimes angry?Thank you for asking!! :D
