hi, I have a little question... um so there's a situation i kinda like this guy, and i think they know it.. but we never had a face to face interaction.. the thing is he was a senior in my uni and then they passed out and after that every one kinda came to know about my crush and then I think by mutuals he kinda came to know about but I don't have the chance to meet or anything else like face to face right now or in near future.. and i kinda want to approach them but at same time don't.. the only time we interacted was wishing each other happy birthday on social... it feels really a far fetched thing.. I tried getting this crush thing over but it seems to not work well.... i don't know what to do. I don't even know if I do approach what I should even say or what I even talk about or anything.. ugh this is so embarrassing...

I can't tell you what you should do, altough, If it were me, I would have confessed my feelings to that someone without expecting anything in return.

If it works out the way I want (Awesome) if it doesn't, it's okay, she would know what I felt for her.

Ultimately, I would be moving on with a thought that she is happy without me being in her life. In the end, that's what we want isn't it ? People we love to be happy ?

hi grace!! i hope ur weeks going well so far ^^ i'm new to the whole writing scene (especially the xreader writing scene) and have been struggling to put out updates/chapters for some of my works. i think i'm just in dire need for a beta-reader, but i have no idea where i would begin to find one! do you have any tips on how i could start finding people? any help would be much appreciated! -GB anon

well, honestly when I first got into rottmnt and rlly wanted to start making fanfics for the fandom, I started messaging other writers of the fandom, asked for advice on what tags to use, specific formats and things like that, it led to me making some friendships/mutuals and from there people were happy to help one another!

so I think reaching out to those who are friendly and want to talk with others, making connections and then asking for help! it definitely wasn’t a quick process, I’ve been here for a year now and I feel comfortable enough to ask others for feedback or help edit my own stuff, (tbh I don’t have a beta reader but sometimes me and marlowe edit for one another when the other asks!)

maybe there is someone in the fandom who loves to beta read! i dont know anyone like that myself but perhaps other fanfic writers know of one?

Aye. I had a think about it during the week (i.e. was it worth it (time and effort) - and whether people like to admit it or not you can learn some interesting stuff on this platform, especially about film and art) then a compromise with myself to try and not spend too much time on here (as I want to do more photography and writing).

But the other blog (kyushu) is dead as they won't let me have it back even though what they accused me of is total BS, and they are still taking my monthly direct debit (which is theft I believe).

So, I thought, why not give it another shot and see how long it is before they pull me down this time.
