South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (R) is now banned from all tribal lands in the state after the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe voted to bar her from their reservation Wednesday, citing her repeated claims that tribal leaders work with drug cartels.

Noem sparked the controversy in March when she said tribal leaders benefit from the presence of cartels operating on their land.

“We’ve got some tribal leaders that I believe are personally benefiting from the cartels being there, and that’s why they attack me every day,” the governor said at a forum in March. “But I’m going to fight for the people who actually live in those situations, who call me and text me every day and say, ‘Please, dear governor, please come help us in Pine Ridge. We are scared.’”

Trump's possible pick for VP is a puppy killer so I absolutely hate her. Her reason was that it wasn't being trained fast enough or something.

Yeah, I know that I defended Lauren Boebert before for the actions she didn't even take when her neighbor accused her of killing her dog, but even the neighbor's version of what happened makes it justifiable.

Her story is that her husky got loose, got close to Boebert's goats and Boebert confused the dog for a wolf. And that's not even what happened! I hate her, but I do believe Boebert when she told her side of the story. Her story added up more. And again, even if it didn't I'd still take her side.

But this is different. There's not a single thing to justify murdering a puppy just because it wasn't becoming a hunting dog fast enough.

I can't believe somebody would brag about how heartless they are like this.

Reaching for an example of her unflinching preparedness to do anything “difficult, messy and ugly” if it needs to be done, Kristi Noem landed on a chilling example: the time she killed her pet dog, Cricket, in an execution-style gravel pit slaying.

The South Dakota governor, whose unbreakable devotion to Donald Trump has propelled her to somewhere near the top of his list of his potential 2024 running mates, reportedly included her disturbing tale of canicide in a book set to be published next month. “I guess if I were a better politician I wouldn’t tell the story here,” Noem writes, according to The Guardian, which obtained a copy.

According to the newspaper, Noem recounts the story of how she not only killed Cricket—a female “wirehair pointer, about 14 months old”—but then also proceeded to botch the killing of an unnamed goat that she owned to which she had taken a disliking.

“I hated that dog,” Noem reportedly writes, adding that Cricket was simply “untrainable” and “dangerous to anyone she came in contact with.” It was then that she realized “I had to put her down,” she adds.

Noem explains that she grabbed her gun and took Cricket to a gravel pit. “It was not a pleasant job,” she writes, “But it had to be done.” Afterward, she writes, she decided she also needed to kill a male goat she owned that was “nasty and mean” because it was uncastrated, complaining that the buck “loved to chase” Noem’s children around and would wreck their clothes by knocking them down.

She reportedly writes of the goat that she “dragged him to a gravel pit” like Cricket, but the killing did not go as smoothly. The goat jumped when she pulled the trigger, Noem says, meaning the goat survived the shot. She adds that she went to her truck to get another shell and then “hurried back to the gravel pit and put him down.”

Noem says that a construction crew had seen her killing both the dog and the goat. She also writes that when her daughter, Kennedy, came home from school, she “looked around confused” and asked: “Hey, where’s Cricket?”

Conventional wisdom suggests it’s not politically smart to brag about killing puppies, but South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem is challenging that theory. In a new book, “No Going Back: The Truth on What’s Wrong with Politics and How We Move America Forward,” Noem reveals that she once killed a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer because she was “less than worthless” as a hunting dog. Even stranger: She suggests her willingness to kill the animal is a political selling point since it shows she will do anything that needs to be done, no matter how “difficult, messy and ugly” it may be. And it was definitely all three of those things based on an advance copy obtained by the Guardian. Noem writes the dog, Cricket, had an “aggressive personality” and needed training before she could be used to hunt pheasant, per the Guardian’s review. Although Noem thought taking Cricket hunting with older dogs would calm her down, she kept ruining things by “chasing all those birds and having the time of her life.” An electronic collar also failed to bring Cricket under control — a fact that she said became woefully apparent after the hunt when Noem stopped to talk with a local family. Cricket managed to escape the truck and attack the family’s chickens, “crunching [each chicken] to death with one bite, then dropping it to attack another.”

As if Trump couldn't stoop any lower! ATTENTION ANIMAL LOWERS! The woman Trump wants as his VP candidate BOASTED about murdering her puppy (a literal puppy) with a gun after she decided he was "untrainable." She then killed a goat she owned she didn't like, screwed that up so that the goat survived but was suffering so she had to reload her gun and shoot him again. Even worse, she had a small child who came home from school and asked "Where's Cricket?" (The puppy). This wasn't even a full grown dog, this was a literal puppy. I'm having trouble wrapping my mind around this. Did Trump just pick Cruella de Ville as his running mate? This is sick.

She BRAGS about this in her book! This isn't hearsay! This is the person Trump wants as his VP and she's using this puppy murder story as proof she'll "do what needs to be done."

I'm reeling at the pure evil of this. A literal puppy killer VP candidate. That's beyond cartoonish levels of evil where you think "This can't be real."
