Happy Friday, Besties!!!!!

It's been a hell of a week.

I think it's time to reveal the pairing of my current WIP.

I'm not sure how long this one is gonna be, but it's heavy on the plot (...and the porn) so it's definitely going to be Fabby Length. I'm having a blast writing it, but lengthy fics take time to write, so it'll be a while before this is complete.

I've gone for a different pairing this time... it's okay if it's not your cup of tea. But godddddaaaaammmnn is it mine. Sip, sip, sip, bitch. I'm having so much fun and going so feral for the dynamic. I hope you will give it a shot, even if it's not your fav pairing.

(Though it should be, because they're hot as fuck together.)

Daniel looked over at him, dart held tightly in his fingers, only to find Lando smiling at him. 

Fuck. 

He was so pretty. 

Daniel threw his last dart at the board and then turned to face Lando properly. He wasn’t even sure where the dart had landed. It could have missed the board altogether for all he knew. They looked at each other for a long moment before Daniel asked, “Why did you cancel your club night to come here with me?” 

Silence washed over them as they looked at each other. 

Daniel wasn’t sure what he was expecting. Things with Lando were usually lighthearted and funny, so he mostly expected him to make a joke out of his question. But when Lando spoke again, his words were quiet and sincere. 

“Because I’d rather hang out with you.” 

Fuck. 

“Yeah?” Daniel asked, eyes soft and way too fond. 

“I’ve missed hanging out with you,” Lando said, shrugging a bit. His cheeks seemed to get a bit pinker, and it sent a thrill down Daniel’s spine to think he was the reason for it. 

“Yeah?” Daniel repeated, feeling like his heart might actually burst out of his chest. They looked at each other for another long moment, their eyes unmoving. When Daniel finally spoke again, there was a teasing lift to his voice. “You missed me?” 

Because he couldn’t help himself. 

Because Lando missed him. 

Fucking hell. 

“Of course I missed you, you muppet,” Lando groaned, rolling his eyes and reaching out to punch Daniel’s shoulder. In Lando’s language, that was the same as giving him a hug. Daniel was so fucking endeared by it. “You’re...” Lando started to say but trailed off. 

“I’m what?” Daniel urged, wanting to know the end of that sentence. 

“You’re Danny Ric,” Lando finally said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. It wasn’t a real answer, and it didn’t technically make any sense, but it somehow was exactly what Daniel needed to hear. He couldn’t help the blinding smile that took over his face. 

“And you’re Lando Norris,” he said, equally as stupid. 

He was pretty sure it was a love confession.

“Yeah, I am,” Lando said, grinning at him as he reached out and tweaked Daniel’s nipple.

“Ouch!” Daniel laughed, twitching out of Lando’s grasp. 

“Are you going to tell me you missed me too, or what?” Lando asked, reaching to pinch his other nipple, but Daniel batted his hand away before he could get there. Lando frowned at him as he said, “Come on, Danny. I’m a growing boy. I need constant affirmation.” 

“You’re fucking ridiculous,” Daniel said, giggling at him. Lando pouted harder, and Daniel suddenly wanted to lean forward and kiss him. He wouldn’t, obviously, but the intrusive thought was there, and it wasn’t going away. That was why he said, “Do you need people to praise you in bed, too?”

i absolutely do not vibe at all with any red hood steph concept ive ever seen because fucking nobody engages with it in any depth its just 🤔🤔 steph is basically the same as jason right? people who dont like jason online say so so it must be true~

like i need you first of all to walk back several steps and understand two major things about utrh and stephanie brown here. the first is that steph got into crime fighting in the first place bc she wanted to ~spoil~ the crimes of her c-list supervillain father. the second is that the core of the tragedy of the red hood is that batman is supposed to be his fucking dad.

so if you do want to do a red hood stephie concept here which. to be clear is not something i am INHERENTLY opposed to. you have a couple options to make it potentially coherent but you need to actually be deliberate and clear about what youre trying to do with that concept. you need to step away from jasons tragedy and look at hers and figure out where exactly her anger and hurt are coming from and who exactly theyre directed at, as well as what specifically in your au concept it would be so different than the canon one where when she comes back she wants to do pretty much the opposite of what jason wanted when *he* came back.

and. crucially. if the difference is the relationship she has to bruce being different you actually do need to show not tell that dude. im sorry but if you just *tell* me that in your universe that steph has a more deep and meaningful relationship to bruce i 100% always am like "ill believe it when i fucking see it". like, she has parents of her own and while that doesnt preclude having a more signficant relationship with bruce (see: timmy)... you really do have to do the legwork or it looks like youre just writing them out and asking us to take your word for it that Of Course steph wants bruce to adopt her, hes batman! gag, retch, spew. do notdo this.

FRANKLY in a reverse robins concept i vibe way more with steph as red robin than anything specifically her getting the dumpster costume from whoever you do put in the red hood role. (frankly x2 i still think if they really truly had to do the storyline they did in canon where shes still trying to do bruces dirty work for him and hires assassins to kill tim to ~make him better~ lmao she should have been the one who wore the Bad Robin uniform before tim got it instead of fuckin ulysses i just think it would have been more coherent and also funner for me personally)

anyway if you link me a red hood steph concept here and it sucks or does any of the things i Just finished critiquing i will be very irritated and i will not be polite to you about it. just as a fair warning.

Once you are his you are forever bound to be his- Daemon doesn't care how he has to get you or if you are already married, we all can imagine the fate of your spouse once he found out...

Either that or he will ruin your reputation completely like he tried to do to Rhaenyra so that you have no choice but marrying him, even if you try to explain what really happened.

He doesn't treat you so badly, you just have to get used to him. But if you are good he wouldnt manipulate you, he will even let you get near his dragon and see him actually happy and content.

Of course, just like Aemond, he will make you pregnant as soon as possible. Its not like he actually cares about having children, but more so his possessive side its content because you have the proof that you are his forever; a little babe that looks like the both of you
