Commission of a beautiful pupper in colour pencil. This was a fun challenge as it is a composite of several photos and the client asked me to remove some of the grey hair, returning the doggo to a younger day. I really do enjoy drawing the black dogs! . .

Why do we have such bad luck?

By that I mean both dogs that attacked Nick comming for round two in about three months

Thankfully it was Rex the neglected german shepherd who while intimidating over the fence isn't as badass without it and not Basty the brazilian fila who jumped the fence twice and went for the kill

Rex ran away and while we were going home from our walk we met him

And of course he thought about attacking us (well...Nick. He ignores people mostly. May sniff them and go away. Maaaybe beg for a treat if he knows you)

Nick was in a complete pissed off protective mode straight away. Started growling and barking

And of course I yelled something like "No! Get lost Rex!" and I guess the combination of Nick not backing down and me yelling at him by name... he ran away.

Which I'm glad because now I know what to expect if he manages to run away again and we run into him.

I really pitty that dog tho. He's fed by a neighbourg because his owners show up like twice a year. He hasn't been socialized with other dogs because they want him as a guardian so he's left there alone for most of the year.

But as long as he has a place to sleep and is fed no one will do shit about it

But no dog got hurt this time we just scared him away.

Something more positive

Nick's eyebrow is fully healed and the scar looks like a badly drawn eyebrow

and the local pet store had some yoghurt for dogs promotions for a decent price and Nick loves it and I tried it and honestly would buy it for myself

This is the last picture I took of Noddy at my home. It was during my final time dog-sitting him, on December 28, 2022. Noddy is resting peacefully on my stomach. 🥰
