With CPC ending, I guess there's no better time than now to post what I had drawn for Nell and Jolie's wedding. This was originally intended for the fourth day of @cursed-princess-club's CPC Week back in September of 2023, but I got caught up in life events and put off finishing it until today.

Thank you, Lambcat, for crafting such a beautiful story. It's been a fun run keeping up with the series, and now that it's over it feels bittersweet. I can't wait to see what other projects are to come ♥

Update

My friend is reading Cursed Princess Club and is currently cursing my name because I got her into it haha. She called me yesterday talking about how she was almost late to work because she couldn't stop reading. She's currently terrified of Nell's prophecy and adores Gwen. (Naturally) Jamie seems to be her favorite character so far. Hopefully she can catch up in time for the series finale.

My First CPC fanart ever!

An AU where Frederick becomes sorta evil after dethroning his father and taking everything tired of the abuse and belittling

I call this one the ‘The Cruel King and his Generous Queen’ note: that he isn’t cruel to his loved ones or his kingdom but you can still be cruel if it’s to people you hate. Evil comes in all its forms.

The second one I call ‘Sink or Swim, Father’ No one knows what happened to the former king of the Plaid Kingdom well except for Frederick. He locked his Father in a darker and dirtier dungeon than the one his father locked him in, whenever he gets angry he takes his rage out on his chained up father.

This one is called ‘You lost Blaine’. Blaine wasn’t going to lose his position to the throne that easily but in the end all of Frederick’s anger and pent up hatred towards his “perfect” brother powered him through the battle and defeated him. Frederick didn’t want someone who betrays their family in his kingdom Frederick exiled his brother until he could learn to let go of his selfishness, his ego, and his perfection. Then he can come back.

And lastly the one I’m most proud of is called ‘The reason for Everything’ all the things he has done wasn’t just for him but for the people he loves including his beloved Gwendolyn. Of course he had the children after becoming king, exiling his brother and marrying his loved one, but having children didn’t change his opinion on the cruel world he would never let his father out and he would never let his brother come back not if it meant putting his children in harm’s way. No one would ever hurt his sparkling spoiled Mariana (I didn’t know how to make her glow) or his cherished little Brandon.

So I’m trying to figure out how many more books we are going to be expecting based on how many episodes are in each book?

1st one has 34 episodes

The 2nd book has 27 episodes

And 3rd has 18 episodes including the two bonus shorts.

So assuming I did my counting right I say about 4 maybe 5 more books coming up?! We’ll just have to wait and see but that’s my prediction!

El - Ok, I know I did a post about Cursed Princess Club last week! (Check it out here if you haven’t seen it. Shameless plug!)

But as a person who loves Whitney as a character a lot, this week’s episode was just a delight! He has grown so much since we first saw him in the story and I loved every bit of his character development. And in this episode he was just amazing!

So I am sorry, but I couldn’t help myself. I just had to redraw this beautiful panel. It’s my favourite from the whole episode. Just don’t look at the hand! The hand is awful! I still have a long way to go before I manage to draw hands properly. Another interesting thing to note about this redraw is that I struggled a lot with drawing his facial expression. I just couldn’t capture the same enegry that Whitney is giving in the original panel and I figured it’s because of the way I draw eyes compared to the style of the eyes in the comic. (I absolutely adore the comic’s art style by the way.)

Anyway, it didn’t turn out as great as the original, but I am still happy with it. And I really do hope that you will enjoy it as well!

Like, I just found an important piece of foreshadowing while searching something else in the archives.

This is big, I promise, and given how Lambcat has been paying off other things I’m 99.9% convinced I’m right!

So, be careful, below the cut is theorizing but I’m pretty sure it’s going to happen!

From Episode 77, Gwen’s Portrait:

Like, seriously, how obvious is that? Leopold telling Gwen her loved ones are in her “memories” (something we draw on when we dream) and in objects.

And what does he give her?

A sketch of how much her family loves her.

And what is the narrative promising us will be used to reach Gwen in her dream????

A portrait-bound soul, that can manifest when the dream has a portrait.

And a sketch by a literal portrait artist counts, no question!!!

Now that the portrait the Plaid King stole is back in the Pastel Castle, all we need is for Gwen to remember this picture of her family’s love!!!

Hahaha I'm a mean friend but I'm so excited. I binged all of Cursed Princess Club in 3 days and now one of my friends is reading it. All i told her was that it was that I cried twice while reading it. She's terrified. (She loves stories like that so I know she'll love it to death. I'm already ordering the psychical copies for us to share)
