This Lando biography thing only for Lando or other drivers also have that book about themselves? Also the dyslexic one is him or his father?
if you're talking about the biography i was reading a bit ago, it's about lando only (the title is lando norris: a biography and it's by sports journalist ben hunt), but i'm pretty sure there are similar biographies about other drivers/athletes (max verstappen i know has a few, including one that came out earlier this year). you can probably just type "name + biography" into amazon if you're looking!
and the dyslexia mention in the book is about lando's dad (quoted below—the first paragraph is a quote from adam norris, and i'm also including the paragraph after it because i think it's interesting to read), but even though it's not stated in this biography i'm pretty sure lando himself is also dyslexic (he implies it in this quadrant skribbl.io video). idk if he's ever really talked about it publicly though.

'Charles Leclerc' and 'Lando Norris' biographies reviewed | Reviews
New biographies of McLaren star Lando Norris and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc are two of a slew of F1 driver profiles released this summer (watch this space for forthcoming reviews), many being published by Icon Books. While it is easy to roll your eyes, in reality this signifies the renewed interest in F1 as a result of Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’. Not since the heady days of the mid-to-late nineties have there been so many contemporaneous F1 books (especially driver profiles) released. So what of these Norris and Leclerc biographies, then? While neither are likely to tip into all-time top ten F1 book lists, both authors, Ben Hunt (Norris) and Adam Hay-Nicholls (Leclerc), do a fine job with the material available, producing highly readable and engaging biographies. While not an official biography, Hunt clearly has more direct access to Norris’s inner circle. His management team are included in the list of interviewees, as is former McLaren communications manager Charlotte Sefton who worked closely with Norris during his early days at the team. It’ unlikely that either would have provided material without at least tacit approval from Norris himself. Meanwhile Hay-Nicholls has to rely a little bit more on third-hand sources and interviews completed during Leclerc’s time in F1. However, he deserves a Pulitzer nomination for stretching ‘working class’ to its absolute limits on multiple occasions. Yes, Leclerc had to secure management and Ferrari backing to climb up the single-seater ladder on his way to Formula 1, but Nigel Mansell selling his house this is not. The portraits that emerge are generally sympathetic, but also with deep currents. These are young men fulfilling their dream, becoming global brand ambassadors and amassing immense fan bases all while at a very young age. My main criticism is the same across both books: both drivers’ time in junior formulae is rattled through quickly, with notable coyness (more so from Hunt) about the costs and investment involved to make a serious run at the levels before F1. Both Norris and Leclerc’s graduation to the world championship level was long seen as inevitable and I would have liked a bit more detail on how both prepared for their destinies. For young drivers who are early in their careers, there is only so much that a biography can say or do, particularly without first-hand access to their subjects. However, both Hunt and Hay-Nicholls have lean and immensely readable writing styles which means neither book ever drags, while there are enough nuggets to keep the hardcore interested. As beach reads for F1 fans new and old, both books are enjoyable primers on two of the newest generation of the sport’s world class talents. Driver profile : Y/N L/N
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Name : Y/N M/N M/L/N
Nicknames : N/N , bella , demon spawn, amour , love , sprout.
Nicknames by fans : Valkyrie, the unofficial official grid mom , Merc queen, red bull princess, angel, f2 grid mom , stargirl .
Age : I estimated her to be around 27 (it's not fixed so you can change it to whatever you like)
Birthday : 23 . October . (Same thing , you can put yours or any other date🤷🏻‍♀️)
Birthplace : Sydney, Australia
Blood type : B+
Languages : fluent in English, french + (language of choice) , basic Dutch , Spanish , and a little bit of Arabic.
Resident : between Monaco, London, New York and Sydney.
Personality : spitfire on track , a power that install fear in the hearts of every team and any driver she's up against , believes in actions and hard work rather than words spewed around , so if you have the balls and nerves to poke her , you better have the results to back you up or you won't see the end of it from her or her fans or the rest of the grid .
Known as The grid keeper/ no#1 mom who keeps them in line but could be found in the midst of chaos leading them with their antics and pranks . off track , she's an introverted small bean that can scare the daylight out of you if you rubbed her the wrong way, shy and closed off is the first impression that everyone gets when meeting her but once you get to know her she's the sweetest and most genuine/spontaneous person you'll ever meet , her RBF hides a gentle kind soul , that makes her the best person to give comfort and assurance even if she denies it. Protective bear of her loved ones and won't stop at anything till she make sure they're okay. She either acts like an old lady that complains about her back and knees , or like a little kid on a sugar rush , it's a normal day to find her around the grid at the most confusing places : climbing motorhomes just because/hiding behind tyres while everyone lose their minds trying to find her /sleeping in an ice tup cause she got too comfortable.
Habits: play with her hands when nervous, pout unconsciously when she's too focused on something, pick at her fingers when uncomfortable/stressed (if close , Charles would give her one of his rings to play with , or others would let her play with their fingers to distract her) , jumps whenever she gets exited, tilt her head when confused, clenches her fists/jaw when she gets irritated ( the guys knows when to interfere to stop her from beating someone), sings/humms absentmindedly through her day , do a little dance when happy, talks to herself in a quiet voice.

Facts and background infos :
‌she's the only daughter of the L/N family , but chose to race with her grandmother's maiden name instead . She wanted to establish herself away from her father's name .
‌very independent , and mature beyond her age .‌
she's the backbone of her family, both her brothers and father own it to her for helping them through their lives .
‌she had a complicated relationship with her mother to say the least, she was the one who suffered the most when she left .
‌her parents split up when she was only 5 . her mom walked away leaving them with her baby brother who was barely months old .
‌her mother tried to forcefully take Eddie (the eldest) along with her while their father was out with Tommy, but he refused to part from his sister , resulting in a very traumatic day for the two kids.
‌she watched her dad as he struggled with taking care of them three , feeling like a failure who couldn't tend to his own children.
‌so she took it up on herself to help him take care, comfort and nurture her baby brother.
‌he tried to get her to live her age but she won't stop worrying about her brother and he won't settle unless she's close .
‌just hearing her voice got him from screaming his lungs out to cooing and giggling.
‌their bond only grew stronger as they grew up .
‌he was at his best behaviour when she's around, forgetting about the tantrums and wailing matches he had with his traumatized babysitter who quit the moment their father came back home .
‌her childhood wasn't the most ideal but she got her family with her and that was more than enough for her.
‌her dad was more than relieved when she finally had interest in something other than studying or taking care of them .
‌he watched as her love for racing grow untill he offered to take her to her first grand Prix.
‌she didn't sleep for days after .
‌daniel was her first friend in the sport .
‌they met through one of her uncles friends back in Australia , both didn't like eachother at all .
she was the quiet observing kid and he was the bouncing ball of energy , but they bonded through their love for racing .
‌she moved to Europe (between UK and France) with her dad where she found more suitable competitions to partake in, but she tried to keep in touch with him through the years , but they both got busy and lost connection.
‌she kept to herself and worked hard to build her skills.
Maintaining a healthy balance between her studies and racing .
‌untill she met some of the kids older/close to her age , most didn't take her seriously and even encouraged her to drop racing . But she also met little max .
Both acknowledged the other but kept their distance on the beginning.
‌the boy was blunt and she was unfazed.
‌they respected the other hard work and we're motivated to beat eachother at every race.
‌they surprisingly became best friends with time .
‌both acting too mature for their own good but unknowingly, they both got eachother to act their age as they grew closer .
‌they gave eachother tips and pointers as they sat away from the others before every race they were in together .
‌he'd talk her ears off after every race explaining every detail and every corner and she'd patiently listen to him , adding her own opinion here and there .
‌they were at eachother neck every race, but their friendship was as strong as it could be.
‌they celebrated the winner and encouraged the loser , both hated to lose , but they raced fairly.
‌she got discovered by Christian , and found her way to red bull academy program, Max a year after her .
‌and guess who's there ? Daniel Joseph Ricciardo.
‌they reunited after years , both inseparable even more when she got a seat at Toro rosso .
‌the team was on the brink of a collective breakdown, they already had Seb to worry about , now add those two with Max?
‌cue chaos and mischief , sirens going off with Seb laughing and Christian screaming in the background.
‌fernando saw her and declared war upon whoever dares to hurt this small bean .
Forming a small protection squad (more like him forcing Seb Kimi and Jenson to participate)
Kimi got robbed into it , he didn't even know until he found himself along with the others planning to slash a reporter tires for calling her slow and ignorant .
He thought they were getting coffee !?!! .
‌she was supposed to move to red bull in 2016 but Marko opposed, max was promoted instead, and she left to Renault the following season.
‌in 2018 she moved to alpha Romeo (saubar) alongside Charles leclerc .
Rookie Charles was low-key scared of her , he knew her from their carting days but still felt uneasy with her quiet personality and focused mentality.
The first time they met was a disaster at it's finest.
But she knew how tense and overwhelmed rookies could be in their first season so she tried her best to help him through it .
‌it was an exhausting season but they both survived .
Charles moved to Ferrari and her to Mercedes.
‌Toto offered her a Merc seat for 2019 .
‌lewis had his share of teammates and it didn't end well to say the least with his former friend/teammate (RIP brocedes) or valtteri after .
‌so when she first came in it didn't go well for her .
‌both her and Lewis are hardheaded and closed off, refusing to acknowledge the other Or give in to know eachother.
‌they stayed professional and moved out of the other's way, untill she came around, finding him in the back of his driver's room, sitting on the floor , his head on his hands after a shitty with a dnf .
‌she kept quiet and sat down with him letting him have his moment of silence but assuring he don't have to be alone .
‌after an hour or so, she took out her phone , showing him her family dog pics and videos , getting him to crack a smile and even few laughs before she let him talk about his own Roscoe, promising to let her meet him when they go to Silverstone.
‌the roles reversed when he found her in an empty office at the back of the garage , she got an earful from Toto and couldn't get a word in , her notes are always dismissed and her engineer wasted time until it's too late to listen.
‌he sat beside her, letting her lean on his shoulder in a way of comfort , letting her play with his rings to calm down.
‌they built a support system . and it resulted in building a solid foundation for a dynamic team.
But that won't mean she'll let her work go to waste because of the team's orders.
... : Y/N.
Y/N : yes?
James : Y/N, This is James, listen.....
Y/N : no James! You listen! Just because..........
Her radio messages never disappoint.
Yeah they give her a hard time , but they didn't know what was waiting for them .
She adapted quickly to the new team and their methods of work , it went as well as it could be up to 2021 .
Shit hit the fan and she almost die/quit .
But she stayed put , ending the season in 3d 🥉.
2022 things moved up a little, with her chances of getting the championship almost equalling Max's, him being ahead with only 24 point .
But Mercedes had their own plans.
Mid-season change in plans Leading to her leaving/getting replaced with George Russell , concluding her journey with Mercedes AMG team.
*Let me know if I missed something ✨

what book I would give each current formula one driver to introduce them to the joy of reading
an intellectual exercise no one* asked for
Max Verstappen: Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond - if you are nd and have read this book, you may understand me. otherwise just trust me. the impetus for this post
Checo Perez: The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White - this is an excellent read-aloud book for Sergio Jr.'s age, and there is nothing as wonderful as reading a compelling book to a kid you love, imho
Charles Leclerc: The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman - he is on the record as a Potter enjoyer. also, I think he would enjoy having a little animal friend
Carlos Sainz: Priestdaddy by Patricia Lockwood - okay yes this is partially a joke about the title, but this is a hilarious and wonderful memoir, about weird families and Catholicism, and I think Carlos would enjoy it.
Lando Norris: Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett - in my mind Lando is a little bit like @bright-and-burning but less cool, so this fits. also, the combination of high number of jokes/page + action/mystery seems like a good fit
Oscar Piastri: Ancillary Justice by Ann Leckie - this book has the kind of mystery that really draws you in, plus I think Oscar would dig the questions about AI it digs into. I choose to believe with zero evidence that he would be interested in the funky gender stuff
Fernando Alonso: Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell - look me in the eye and tell me this book wasn't written for Fernando Alonso
Lance Stroll: Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card - yeah
Lewis Hamilton: Die Trying by Lee Child - Lewis deserves to read mildly trashy thrillers <3 plus there's a Tom Cruise movie
George Russell: Changing My Mind by Zadie Smith - as a proud Brit, George should be reading one of the premiere English authors of the 21st century. her first book of essays is a fun and readable place to start
Yuki Tsunoda: Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel - I don't have a Yuki-lore explanation, I just want to give him one of my favorite books
Daniel Ricciardo: The Gunslinger by Steven King - The Dark Tower series is Lord of the Rings-esque in scope but Western-inflected in aesthetic and written by The Horror Guy, I think DR would enjoy
Alex Albon: The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer by Siddhartha Mukherjee - I say this with so much love in my heart, but Alex wants to be seen as smart. this book is brilliantly written pop science
Logan Sargeant: Bloomability by Sharon Creech - yes this is a book for tween girls, but it's about boarding school in Switzerland, and Sharon Creech is a genius. if I could convince him to read it, I think he would love it
Valtteri Bottas: The Fellowship of the Ring by JRR Tolkien - what are hobbits if not humanoid moomins?
Zhou Guanyu: Piranesi by Susannah Clarke - a fun, exciting, stylishly written book for a stylish guy
Kevin Magnussen: Watership Down by Richard Adams - rabbit warfare <3
Nico Hulkenberg: A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles - Hulk SEEMS like a Dad Who Reads Historical Fiction, even if he isn't yet
Pierre Gasly: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo - I almost said A Game of Thrones but I don't think that would be good for him. so, Six of Crows. he likes heists!
Esteban Ocon: City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty - a superhero origin story of sorts for Mr. Spiderman
Bonus: Liam Lawson: Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir - lesbian from New Zealand. let me have this
*ro asked for it, take it up with them @oscarpiastriwdc

Excerpts from Lando Norris biography - part II
What's the naughtiest thing you've ever done?
When I was five, I stole a sweet from the sweet shop. My parents found out and I lied and said they were given to us from school. Then my mum said she was going to ask the teacher, that’s when I knew it was all going to go wrong, so I had to own up to it.
lol 😂
Charlotte said Lando was at the MTC a LOT when he was a McLaren junior, more than Fernando, Jenson or Stoffel, because he lived nearby. When there's media commitments others don't want to do or cannot do, it's always Lando's job to do it
When Lando became an F1 driver in 2019, Jon and Mark made it clear to Charlotte that they should "in no way mollycoddle him". They actually asked Charlotte to tell them every time Lando's late or did anything wrong. On the other hand they are all very supportive of Lando when he did good, eg. getting a podium, and Lando would be very chuffed about it
But Lando was "forever trying to rebel" (😂), by not wearing the correct team gear etc, and Charlotte had to become a big sister for him. "He once asked me why I was always telling him about Carlos, and I told him to come back to me once he’d done five years in F1." Lando and Charlotte also got really close over time, "Sometimes I’d just go and sit with him in his driver’s room and chat about life."
Charlotte on Carlando (at the beginning): she said Carlos came into McLaren with a mindset of trying to establish himself, as a valuable F1 driver and as no.1 driver in the team, so he treated Lando as a little brother
Before his first GP in Australia 2019, Lando was very very nervous, "he just went very, very quiet. Like steely quiet". He texted Charlotte that he did not want to muck up, and Charlotte had to try to lower expectations for him and reassure him. He did not sleep at all the night before Sunday's race. Charlotte said he put way too much pressure on himself
The accident in Spa 2019 hit his dad Adam really hard, that "he felt very sick". Lando had to reassure his family about his safety (🥺)
Charlotte said that podium for Carlos in Brazil 2019 became a defining moment for Norris, "deep down, he wanted to be the one who had delivered that podium for the team"
(I'll move on to 2020 and 2021 tomorrow)

Omg, I haven't read James Allen's biography and probably won't, but how the hell he can write sth cruel like that. Can't he get sued for false info or somtheing
The book was published in 2006, without the blessing of the Schumachers, and with quotes coming from people who were around at the time but not close to Michael - like Webber - plus a bunch of cut and paste stuff from various interviews and articles. Webber recounted the time Schumi sought him out after his maiden race to congratulate him on getting points (only ten or so cars finished the race so he'd have been hard pressed not to get any) and, at the time, he felt delighted and honoured to have been singled out for praise by the great man himself. Then he told James Allen that it was just a cynical photo opportunity because there were cameras everywhere. I mean, wtf?!? This is Michael Schumacher we're talking about; the cameras followed him everywhere, regardless of what he was doing. I thought that was a pretty nasty attitude from Webber and I lost a great deal of respect for him when I read that.
This is why I won't buy unauthorised biographies anymore; they're just hatchet jobs by gutter press journalists who don't give a damn about their subject but know they can make a quick buck by writing about them. I'd love to read a biography about Lando Norris but the only one so far was churned out by a crappy little sports reporter - I'm loathe to call him a journalist - from The Sun (lowest of the low in terms of the UK gutter press) and I don't even want to read what he has to say about the man, let alone pay the price of the book to do so.
If you'd like to read a biography of Schumacher, I recommend the ones by Christopher Hilton or Pino Allievi (the latter is an absolutely gorgeous coffee table book).

Hii! <3
I was wondering if you could do a little research for me since I know you're something like the greatest Carlando archive which is tbh absolutely amazing!!
So: Do you know where I can find old Carlando insta interactions?
Bc like I just read Lando's biography and it had this line in chapter "Put on Hold" (page 84 if you have the book) in which Carlos is quoted replying to Lando's insta post about his Twitch Stream Aid (shaving his head). Anyways I immediately wondered if there where any more insta interactions I haven't heard about and thought maybe you'd know?
Expecting a masterpost on this topic... (only if you're up for it!)
Enjoy your weekend! 😘✨
Hey there! 👋🏼
Anon, you are talking to the right person here 😜 I think I have what you are looking for! Here and here you can find all Carlando interactions on the internet I know. If the links shouldn’t work, just search my account for 'Carlando good old times' and maybe also 'my favourite Carlando moment'
Anyway, this one is my personal favourite 🥰❤️

Kat's Max Verstappen Primer
Note: I'm posting this privately because I am an active member of the fandom, and although I want people to have this information. I don't want this listed on my blog where my own fictional works reside. This also may turn into multiple parts, I don't know if I plan on covering everything that's gone on with Max in recent years.
2024: Will keep updating as the 2024 season unfolds.
Let's start with some basic facts.
Max was born in Hasselt, Belgium on September 30, 1997 (making him a Libra) to parents Sophie Kumpen and Jos Verstappen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He has four younger siblings, Victoria (full sister), Blue Jaye, Jason, and Mila (who are all fathered by Jos). I'm not going to list any of their ages.
Max started karting at the age of 4. He asked Jos if he could pursue karting, and Jos let him. Max also played Football (Soccer) when he was younger, but gave it up to keep karting.
Jos and Sophie divorced in 2008 when Max was 10 and Jos' career in Formula 1 had come to an end. From what I can find, Max started living with Jos full-time after Jos and Sophie divorced (Sophie did have a restraining order against Jos filed given that he had hit her). While Jos was coaching Max in karting, Jos would work during the week while Max was at school, and on weekends Max and Jos would travel around Europe to compete in karting competitions.
Jos Verstappen
Jos' treatment of Max is pretty well documented by auto-biographies, sound bites, interviews from people in the Verstappen camp, and even by Max himself.
From an early age, when Max made it first known to Jos that he wanted to start karting, Jos did what he thought was right and pushed Max to succeed to the point where most people (even some in the Verstappen camp) viewed Jos' coaching as if he was being too hard on Max (ie. abuse). Jos himself had a similar upbringing to Max, but unlike Jos, Max was able to overcome what he was put through as a child (his father hitting him with his helmet on when he didn't do well, Max not taking off his helmet being afraid he would get hit, leaving Max at a gas station after losing a race is a notable incident given that it happened twice, and Jos not talking to Max for a full week after losing a race). Max would become a champion three times over despite Jos always telling him that he wouldn't amount to anything.
Jos Verstappen is an interesting figure in the world of Formula 1, from his 2 podiums to fathering a now 3-time world champion. He is not a well-liked person in the sport, Jos is known for talking to the media about his son, with the knowledge that he and his son don't share opinions when it comes to the sport. (see the rumors about Max possibly leaving Red Bull, and Jos commenting on it.) Max always has to rebuff Jos' statements to the media even though Jos no longer races in F1, or had a particularly successful career during his 8-years in the sport. Jos was also teammates with 7-time Formula 1 World Champion Michael Schumacker, who is considered to be one of the greatest of all time in the sport.
Despite Jos' treatment of Max, Max seems greatful for the pressure that Jos put on him when he was growing up. It resulted in the winning mentality that Max has now, going in with a mindset to win each race that Max and his ex-trainer/physiotherapist Bradley Scanes had helped him with.
Before Formula 1
When Max was coming up in karting, one of Max's strongest rivals was now Scuderia Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. In 2012, Max and Charles had a collision while they were racing in the second round of the WSK Euro Series, which resulted in the, "Nothing just an inchident." comment from Leclerc. You can find the cut version with both of Max and Charles' answers here. They would both end up getting disqualified from that race.
Tumblr media
Max would also race against another eventual F1 driver; Lando Norris who is currently driving for McLaren. Lando was 13 in the photos and Max was 15.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Max had quite a prolific karting career, placing first in 23 championships in the 9 years he was racing in karts. He would place 2nd in 5 championships in those 9 years, and 3rd once in his last year before starting in Formula 3. Max competed in a total of 45 Championships during his karting career.
Tumblr media
After competing in Formula 3, and winning a championship. He skipped Formula 2 and went straight to Formula 1.
Coming to F1
When Max first made it to Formula 1, he was given the nickname Mad Max by some of the media given his temper when he wouldn't perform well, or the car ended up having issues like an engine failure.
Max joined F1 in 2015 driving for Toro Rosso (now VCARB), making him the youngest driver to ever compete in Formula 1, because of this the FIA has a rule that a driver needs to be 18 to compete in the sport. In 2016, he ended up being called up by Red Bull, taking Daniil Kyvet's seat after the first four races that year, and Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo would become his teammate.
Daniel and Max became good friends off the track, despite what the first season of Netflix's Drive to Survive would have some fans think. Daniel was the first person to welcome Max into the sport and wish him luck when Max was testing for his superlicence. They originally met in 2011 for the RTL GP Masters of Formula 3 when Max was 13, and Daniel was 22.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
gifs by: @arturleclerc
In recent years, Max has been given the nickname Super Max given how fast he is on the track, and the way he can utilize the car to its full potential with the help of Red Bull's engineers.
World Championship(s):
2021
In 2021, Max would go on to win his first championship. Max and Lewis Hamilton were equal in points in the Drivers' Championship before the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Max qualified on Pole Position, and had a slow start off the line, and ended up dropping into second place. Max was trailing after Lewis by over ten seconds until a late safety car was called due to a crash involving (then) Williams driver Nicholas Letifi on lap 53. Max was on fresher tires when Letifi crashed.
And this was where the confusion started. There was a safety car called, and Max went to get fresh tires (softs). Lewis complained about not pitting for fresh tires on team radio while the safety car was out. This was a big advantage for Max, pitting while the safety car was first called out. Red Bull had a clear strategy that they utilizing in that moment.
There were cars that were out of position given the numbers of laps that they had completed, and they wanted to give those cars a chance to unlap themselves.
With two laps left in the race, race control announce that the lapped cars were not allowed to unlap themselves. The safety car came in before lap 57. Then at the start of lap 57, race control made another announcement that the lapped cars could unlap themselves. The only cars that unlapped themselves were in between Lewis and Max. On the last lap of the race, with 3.2 miles left. Max was able to overtake Lewis in turn 5, and finished the race in first.

2022
In 2022, Formula 1 had a change of regulations, from the aerodynamics of the car, the size of the tyers, a change in sporting regulations, and financial regulations which were introducing the year before.
There was reports stirring about a Cost Cap breech in Singapore. The day after Max won the drivers' championship in Japan, the FIA announced that two teams had also breached the financial regulations, it was Red Bull and Aston Martin (and Williams which came out in May 31st.)
Red Bull ended up paying the FIA $7 million and the team would have a 10% reduction in allocated Restricted Wind tunnel Testing. The 7 million was for Red Bull going over with their catering costs. As is seen on Drive to Survive.
Red Bull and Max would end up keeping both their Constructors and Drivers Championships.

2023
Max and Red Bull pretty much ran away with the drivers and constructors championship in 2023.
Max won 19 out of 22 races, Max won his third championship during the Sprint Race in Qatar. Sergio "Checo" Perez, his teammate won 2 races, and Carlos Sainz Jr., driver for Ferrari won the Singapore Grand Prix.
There is a crazy state that I've seen online countless times that says even if Max wasn't 20 seconds ahead of the rest of the field, he still would have won the Drivers Championship.

Random Max fact(s):
Max's favorite food is Tomato soup, Beef Carpaccio, and his mom's cooking. Max can't cook. Max doesn't like shellfish, but he likes fish as he'll eat sushi.
Max Sim races in his free time when he's not working, he finds it's a great way to destress from F1. Max will only stream on the official Team Redline Twitch channel, and even then it's not as often as he used to. On Team Redline streams they will always list when Max is going to be on stream.
Max has two Bangal cats; Jimmy and Sassy (They're siblings), who are named after nightclubs (Jimmy'z and Sass Café) in Monaco where he lives.

Okay so hypothetical scenario: f1 drivers actually read books (i'm not sure anyone of them does it actually if yes drop the recs guys)
What books would they actually read?
Well i've got my theories and i've actually put them into different groups (i was bored leave me alone) so here's something no one asked about
Group 1: Non fiction only!!;
Pierre: he'd read like the Elon Musk biography and would find it extremely inspiriational
Lewis: The why are you here Café and stuff like that, the Alchemist .. and everything about the inner child
Nico H: Power by Robert Greene (concerning book choice imo)
Group 2: Romance Readers <3
Lando: historical romance, bridgerton vibes , handsome knights and beautiful princesses, the ones with the ugly Covers, the ones that make you dream about being in love and being a damsel in distress
Lance: i don't know why but he would read Colleen Hoover, while drinking a glass of white wine and candle light.
Charles: he'd read one book a year but it would be about love or the very tragic ones . He loves depressing music so probably me before you is like his favourite novel of all time
Group 3 : Crime and Thriller because i'm a man
Kev kev: the hardcore scandinavian Thrillers, he's a girl dad he needs the variety
Checo: better read about it in a book than commit murder in real life i guess
Group 4: literary fiction
Oscar and Estie bestie: not necessarily the books that won any prices but books that are rooted in real life . Family issues , lone man on a roadtrip, that kind of stuff
Alex: the lighthearted literary fiction but the ones that also give you something to think about ..
Zhou: he'd drop the best recs i'm sure of it. Reads a lot and just good books..knows they are good before anyone else does
Group 5: gay fiction
Yuki: loves a good gay story, roots for the lesbians to finally get together
Group 6: fantasy
Nyck: the witcher, game of thrones.. started with Percy Jackson and now he's living in lord of the rings Land
Group 7: keeping it classy
Georgie boy ..who else
Group 8: magazines only
Fernando (when he's on the cover) and Carlos (when it's about golf)
Max occasionally
Group 9: doesn't read even in this hypothetical situation:
Logan
Valterri (he reads wikipedia articles though whenever he's bored)

I am always surprised on how much people are surprised Charles gets chased by other teams. He is one of the top drivers of course every team wants him. When they say they don’t they lie. When he says he hasn’t talked to other teams, he lies. It’s not the first time RB tried to get him, they might try every year. Lando is not their first choice when Charles exists. And not wanting two top drivers is just the excuse they say because they can’t sign him.
There is a weird narrative around Charles sometimes that leads people to be surprised by how good he is. I don’t feel like George gets the same treatment for example.
Charles is surrounded by weird narratives and hugely underestimated in press. Imagine, British bias said that George had great rookie season. And yes, it was good, but c'mon Leclerc and Sauber are literally exists.
And of course he lies when he says he doesn't talk to anyone. As we know he is the PR king. And sometimes I wish he was less PR. I mean he is unproblematic and it's amazing, but I would like some real thoughts about Silverstone hahahah. Maybe in 30 years we will read them in his biography.

i just ordered the biography a couple hours ago too bc call me pathetic but i knew reading about the sochi stuff would inevitably make me sad until he got his redemption for it. this win is so validating and freeing as a fan, i can't even imagine the happiness and weight off his shoulders he's feeling.
this is so real, Lando deserved this win and its very sweet to be able to celebrate after the heartbreak. have a feeling now that he's got that first win, we're going to see even better things from Lando🧡
hope you enjoy the biography!
