I was in need of boater hats for my boys to cover their heads in warm weather. Too tired to search the internet and in an intense fit of procrastination I decided to create my first custom content!
“Keep reading” to Download:
The hat is not perfect (e.g. doesn’t fit many female hair meshes), but it includes classic colours that are true to its worn era (1880s-1920s). Men didn’t wear light coloured boaters which were rather worn by women and children. Of course mix and match however you like.

Young Burns & Nigel hanging out on a [northern] winter night.
I really wanted to try and make a (♥ω♥*) fur coat render...!
Also relevant to a small story I’m brewing up.

‘banner ladies’ who were walking advertisements
The 'banner ladies' phenomenon began in the United States in the 1870s as a way to advertise products
Shops and companies would drape women in their wares and have them pose up for photographs
This could see women wear everything from pretzels to horseshoes and lightbulbs on their dresses
Others can be seen wearing funnels and miniature chairs on their heads or even a specially made 'bread hat'
Wich one is your favorite?
Info and photos from the dailymail.
