Chapter One!

¡The Yellow Jackets!
1996
ᴼᵐⁿⁱˢᶜⁱᵉⁿᵗᵉ!
"Hey... I know that if we win today, you... will get depressed, so to speak..." Victoria's soft and warm voice echoed in Allie's room as her sister was getting ready in her uniform for the match. The younger one looked at her for a moment and let out a sarcastic chuckle.
"Allie, come on... you didn't even say good morning to me." Victoria entered the room, hiding something behind her back, piquing Allie's curiosity. "When I went out with the girls, I came across this little friend... I know you're not a baby anymore and left your dolls behind, but..." Without further ado, the girl turned around, observing the small plush dinosaur in her older sister's hands, and a faint smile appeared on her face.
"It's cute, don't you think? Laura Lee named him 'Lucas'." Victoria laughed, remembering the event. "Go ahead, hold it, it's a plush toy, it won't bite." Without hesitation, Allie took the dinosaur.
"It doesn't look like a Lucas..." After the younger one's comment, both sisters burst into laughter. "Thanks for this, Vic." The older brunette pulled her sister close and hugged her.
"God, you're such an idiot." Victoria murmured, planting a kiss on her sibling's hair. "I would hate to go to Nationals." Allie grumbled, distancing herself from Victoria to attend to her own business.
"Then... break a leg," the taller one finished with a smile, leaving her sister's room.

"Darn it, I feel like I'm going to die!" A breathless voice reached my ears; it was Shauna Shipman.
"Think you're immortal and take that damn ball away from her!" I pushed my teammate a couple of times to make her chase after the ball possessed by the opposing team.
We were about to finish the game, both teams were exhausted, and our moods were nothing to write home about.
I noticed that Allie had gained possession of the ball, so I ran towards one end, getting a bit closer to her.
"Allie, don't lose it!" I exclaimed as I saw a rival player attempting to steal the ball from my sister. "Darn it, Allie," I whispered as Allie quickly lost control of the ball.
But as if God was on our side, Taissa appeared and effortlessly stole the ball back from that unknown girl. Number eight was outstanding on the field.
Shauna requested the ball without hesitation, standing in the center with no opponents nearby. Shauna was making a great move at that moment.
Taissa swiftly passed the ball to the brunette; she dodged several other players with god-knows-where speed.
"Shauna!" A voice exclaimed the brunette's name; Jackie was close to the opposing goal, and Shauna was too close to Jackie.
The dream play.
The brunette passed the ball to the captain of our team. A great pass.
I held my breath; everything became tense and icy. We all watched the ball fly towards Jackie.
The sound of a whistle pierced my ears. I was left completely blinded, but a loud commotion and celebration filled the air.
I felt happiness, laughter, tears, and much more.
We had won thanks to Jackie's goal.
We were in the darn Nationals.
"Damn, we're in the Nationals!" someone shouted in my ear; it was Vanessa.
Grabbing my hand, she dragged me towards the circle that had formed in the middle of the field; all the Yellow Jackets were cheering and happy.
"Buzz Buzz Buzz" I heard them shouting and jumping; I separated from Vanessa and composed myself.
We were one step away from fulfilling our dreams.
<=>
Upon entering the locker room, the rhythm of "Shoop" and the voices of the other girls greeted me. Smiles and applause were present. A little dance was set up between Natalie and Lottie, they both looked really happy and that turned me on even more.
When I got to my locker that voice spoke to me.
"Great strategy in the first half, I don't know what we would do without your tactics Vic..."
"Natalie Scatorccio as always complimenting each of my planned moves"
"Not a thank you at least?"
"You're so sweet Scatorccio" her eyes rolled as she bit her bottom lip a little.
"I'll go with my sister... see you later Naty" I greeted her with a small handshake and left.
I made it to the small bathroom where Allie was, but she wasn't alone.
"You're getting cute to show off that you're in the nationals I guess"
A laugh from the older chestnut was heard; I got even closer to the girls. I noticed that Jackie was drawing a little bee on Allie's cheek.
"Jackie said they're giving me something to masturbate to," she spat out of nowhere.
"What?" My face changed, I looked quickly at the captain and she kept laughing. -I demand an explanation-
"Allie, don't mix words"
"So you won't give me anything?" she asked.
"Not dreaming Allie," I denied with crossed arms.
"I didn't know that the captain drew very well," I said as I kept looking at the drawing and wanted to change the conversation.
But before Jackie could answer, a voice interrupted.
"Jackie the director wants to talk to you"
Lottie, at what point did she leave?
"Okay" The oldest one turned to me "Can you finish it?" She pointed to the bee that apparently lacked a bit of yellow.
"Oh no, I suck at drawing," I answered.
"I'll do it" Van came after Lottie with a small smile, Jackie handed her the brush and left the bathroom leaving Lottie at the door looking at Van.
"My dress was going to be amazing..."
'Not again...' "It's not fair, Victoria told me that the dance and the Nationals didn't clash"
"Did you tell him that?" Lottie asked me.
"Allie, the dates move, you know it very well" I answered, bowing my head.
"But it is not fair..."
"Go to the bright side, you can use it next year" Van suggested.
"It's easy to say when you didn't even go to a dance" Lottie and I looked at each other, then I looked at Van, she was clearly biting her tongue to keep from spitting poison.
"That's it... go with your sister" Van's voice came out rough, she didn't look at me, she kept touching her hands and turned around.
"Allie walks," I said, and then she went straight to the bathroom exit. "Sorry Van" The aforementioned she only answered with an "mmh".
"Jesus Christ..." Lottie sighed and walked over to the orange-haired girl. I walked out of that place and watched Taissa enter it.

"Let's Rock the Arena for the New Jersey State Champions of Women's Soccer!"
Having recognition in closed spaces was not my thing. Speaking with total honesty, going to the front to give an oral exam has always been my biggest enemy, and now with all these people looking at us, some totally bored, others celebrating with us and others simply applauding out of commitment, but their eyes... All those eyes were watching us, watching me.
"Are you okay? You're too still." A hand went up my back. Upon receiving that comment I turned to see who it was. It was Laura Lee, her hand stayed a few more seconds on my back and then she took it out, she smiled at me and I noticed that she was also nervous, but not with the damn panic. "Imagine that it's just us, there's no one there in the stands..."
"If only the power of imagination were so easy" My answer made the blonde laugh. "Thanks all the same"
"It's nothing, friends are there for any moment Vic," she slowly expressed in my ear.
"You're an angel Lau" I said looking at a fixed point on the ground.
<ᴼᵐⁿⁱˢᶜⁱᵉⁿᵗᵉ>
At the end of the celebration for both high school clubs, some of the yellow jackets girls separated into groups. But they all knew that they had to go back to the soccer field to have a practice as usual.
A group quite far from the field were discussing someone in particular, Allie.
"It seems that you don't even care."
"Are you kidding? You're an insensitive piece of shit, Taissa..."
"We've been working so hard...all season." Taissa crossed her arms, her eyes flickering slightly and she positioned herself on a 4th person who had just arrived to join the conversation, Shauna.
"Guys, what are you talking about?" The newcomer asked.
"It's... about Allie," Lottie answered, holding her neck.
“What's wrong with her?” She asked again.
"She shit on the state, she literally suffocated," Turner explained with displeasure.
"He's in first grade, Ty," Natalie cut in, justifying her classmate's younger sister.
"It is a disaster"
"And what do you want to do with her?" Shauna asked again and Taissa only admitted that "She can't screw up if she doesn't get the ball."
"Do you want to exclude her?"
"She is one of several and ideas, at least we would know what to expect" Taissa's gesture became rough and cold.
"She's terrible... but I don't know Ty, should we talk to Victoria better?", Lottie said, not being sure of her friend's plan.
"This sucks!" the blonde exclaimed, further upsetting Ty.
"Oh come on, so what's your plan?" the brunette huffed sarcastically.
“Let's see…let her older sister handle it or play as a fucking team and win?” The blonde sighed heavily as she frowned. "So far it's worked..."
"Everything works until it doesn't." Turner crossed his arms, kept his face serious. "And just so you know, you reek of alcohol, let's see if you focus a little more, eh"
The blonde let out a dry laugh, tilting her head a little, the features of her face contracted.
"You know what? Fuck this,” Natalie said before starting to walk towards the campus with obvious disgust.
"It doesn't seem right to me," Matthew commented, taking her bag and running towards Natalie, he wanted to accompany her and discuss this.
The other two stayed, both looking at each other how complicit.
"Jackie won't like this," the brunette stated, raising her eyebrows.
"Jackie is the least of Shauna"
"She only talks to Victoria Ty...she can understand it." The aforementioned she shook her head.
"I know her, she won't agree..."
"Just don't go too far this time."
<ᴾᵒᵛ' ⱽⁱᶜᵗᵒʳⁱᵃ>
The whole team was warming up on campus in separate groups, some had already finished several reps and stood aside, others just kept going and going, one of those was Allie who was being cheered on by me.
"Rest little monkey" I said smiling at her, I walked over to where she was and handed her a bottle of warm water which she gladly accepted. "You're doing well, don't push yourself too much..." I suggested rubbing her back. Allie finished drinking her water and tossed the bottle somewhere in the field.
"If not I'll go to the dance so at least I have to excel in these highly acclaimed nationals..."she answered me, to which she snorted with amusement.
"Oh Allie, no one is perfect, much less this team." She looked at me and raised her eyebrow. "Just stay within your limit and be yourself." She just pouted her lips before pulling away from me and starting to jog again.
But the sound of the whistle made us all look at Coach Scott.
"Very good damsels, all on your knees," he ordered playfully; I ran to the circle that had formed around the coach and quickly got as he said "How do you find state champions?" He asked with an immense joy that stood out from him, that joy spread to all of us that we began to clap and whistle. "Very little ones, I was thinking of playing a quiet match against the first years, is that okay with you?" They all nodded positively 'Ok... Coach Martinez has a family matter" The older man reported incidentally "But hey... let's get to work !" He exclaimed.
But before we started dividing us, a honeyed voice intervened.
"Excuse me Coach, but shouldn't we pray first?" Laura Lee, not surprising.
"It's just a training session, Laura Lee..." A little out of sorts answered Scott, I turned to the blonde again and saw how his face changed "Who am I to say no..."
"Okay... heavenly father..."
The blonde began to pray, asking for our efforts and other things, I just sighed and looked at the sky.
But of course, something was wrong. Not everything can go well on such a happy day. Something bad would have to happen since it was the law of the universe.
"Amen" They all exclaimed making me come back from my thoughts. I looked to my sides and got up from the ground.
We began to divide ourselves, I would play in the first half as a right back.
The game had started, I was in my position waiting for some action to attack or receive the ball.
But this one was at the feet of several girls, I started to get bored so I looked at the sky again. What could go wrong on this day? buffet. Scott's whistle rang in my ears.
"Come on, Allie should have been yours!" After this comment, I looked at my sister, who was only laughing a little with a partner. But then I noticed Taissa, she was going towards the coach. Apparently she had asked him to change teams. "Taissa asked for a change to see how they fight" Again the whistle blew.
I could only watch the game that the opposing team was trying to play.
Allie got the ball back in a clean way. But number eight ran towards her with great speed. I managed to see how she had pushed my sister and how she had said something to her.
A free kick for our team had come out of nowhere. Laura Lee had to kick where she wanted.
The ball rolled back to Allie, but she was being pressured by Taissa.
"It's a stupid light match," I whispered.
Shauna called for the pass, Allie passed the ball to Shauna's position. But this she was under too much pressure too.
So there was no choice but to return the ball to Allie.
My sister received this item again. She ran a bit.
Several players blocked my view, but I knew Allie was close to the goal. I smiled a little, I sensed a goal from her.
But suddenly my little slice of happiness collapsed, I noticed through a slight opening Allie collapsed on the grass, screaming desperately. The two teams were surrounding her in a circle quickly.
I suffocated. Why was she on the ground?
I started running praying that it was just a finger injury. I ran blinded, worried, my heart screaming to get out of my body.
The comments reached my ears, but I didn't listen to them. Coach Scott walked over to my sister.
"Allie!, Allie look at me, don't worry..." I quickly threw myself close to her, took her hand and pressed her head on her grass so that she lay down on it. Suddenly I felt a liquid on my knees. Blood.
"W-what happened..." I whispered to her. I could feel how the coach asked for space, also that Misty was going to call an ambulance, but my attention was focused on reassuring my little girl.
"Water, give me water!" I yelled looking at the girls. Laura and Lottie went to get my order.
"Everything will be fine, I'm here..." I kissed Allie's forehead, she couldn't speak, she just sobbed, choking on her own saliva and screaming. She had dropped the damn bone out of her. The girls handed me two bottles of water, I handed it to Allie to start drinking, her lips began to dry and tremble as well.
The current situation was a mess, just the sounds of Allie and I trying to reassure and comfort her at the same time.
We only had to wait for the ambulance.
"I'm going with her..." I said looking at the coach, he nodded.
"It's over. Everyone to the dressing rooms!"
<=>
The doors of the vehicle were closed with force, she was next to my little girl, holding her hand and wiping away the tears that escaped from her totally red eyes.
We had arrived at a hospital, Allie was carried on a stretcher by two guards, they began to ask me for information about her and me, which I answered.
"Your parents will be here in a while, you must wait in the girl's room," one of them told me while he took me away from Allie.
"I'll be here Allie!"
<Flash Forward>
"I'll talk to Ty, maybe he just got carried away..."
"Vicky did it with bad intentions..."
"I... I don't know, what if it wasn't like that?"
He didn't even apologize! Now I'm going to be hospitalized like a fucking cripple!” I rolled my eyes, but my mind kept overthinking this statement.
"Allie I know her, I know she wouldn't hurt you on purpose"
"You're so ridiculous..." She was affected, she wasn't me, but she wasn't going to let him vent like this on me. She didn't deserve it.
"You're not defending me, you're defending stupid Taissa Turner," Allie continued. "Why did you care so much if you can't even blame her?" She hurt me Victoria" Well, right now I feel a little guilty. "You will not say anything?"
"Should I tell you something?" I answered without measuring my words, I screwed up. Her eyes widened and her lips began to tremble.
"What kind of sister role do you play?"
"Allie, I'm really sorry, I didn't mean…" I rubbed my hands around my face, I shouldn't have responded that way.
She crystallized, clenched the sheets with her hands, lowering her head.
"Allie rest...I'll talk to Ty about this..." She Sarcastically she laughed.
"You even mention it with too obvious affection, wow"
The door opened, it was our parents who went to speak at the reception a few minutes ago.
They started talking to Allie, asking her how she felt, if she needed anything, etc.
Until finally dad noticed my existence.
"Victoria, will you go home alone or shall I take you?"
"It's almost eight o'clock at night, what do you think, Dad?"
<=>
The ride home as my father's co-pilot was always overwhelming, I could smell tobacco smoked hours ago. We didn't talk much, he just gave me a few "rules" for tomorrow, how I should behave, make our last name clear and socialize with people who have good titles. He would always look for people of high rank to match them.
"Regarding your sister..." A dialogue began again "Give me the name of the young lady who hurt her..."
"Dad, it was an accident."
"Your sister knows that she did it on purpose, do you agree that they harm your little sister?"
"Of course not"
"Then why don't you make her respect you, she's your bloody sister, you should take care of her"
"I know, but that was an accident!" As all the "chats" that I have with my father always consist in arguing, I mentally prepared myself to shut up and listen. I limited myself to looking at the window as I usually do at times like these, my father's voice touched my ears but he didn't give it a bit of attention, and he went like that until he got to our house.
"I hope you have understood that you should not let any inferior person harm those of your blood" He finished, leaving the car in front of our house. I took off my belt and looked at him out of the corner of my eye.
"I love my sister, but what you're saying is totally stupid," I stated firmly.
"Get out of the car, when you return from the trip we'll talk about this" Perfect, now I'll be the bad guy in the movie.
“Will you pick me up in the morning?” I asked muttering as he opened the door and started to stick my feet out.
"I don't have time, ask for a taxi Victoria" Just like that I got out of the car without turning around to greet him. When I left I closed the door and headed towards my house. Totally lonely.
I opened the door and turned on the lights, this was already familiar with my day to day. The only difference was that at least I had my sister, but now...
Now I am totally alone.
Then I started to think again as I walked towards the kitchen, I wasn't going to eat but to prepare my food for tomorrow.
'What if Allie was right?' Nah, I know Allie doesn't get along with Ty, but...
No, Ty knows how I am about my sister. He wouldn't let anyone hurt him...I think so...
'He didn't apologize to Allie' Well, it was for the shock, plus Ty isn't one to apologize if he isn't face to face.
'Taissa Turner at first didn't want girls first' Ty always thought all the best for the team, always was.
Suddenly the landline phone in the living room rang clearing me of my argument with myself.
<ᴼᵐⁿⁱˢᶜⁱᵉⁿᵗᵉ>
"Stevens family..."
"Vic, I'm Shauna."
"Shauna? Weren't you at a party?" The aforementioned she took a breath making herself heard through the phone. "Shau... is something wrong?"
"I'm calling you from Jackie's house, we'll be leaving soon"
"Okay? Shauna unfortunately I will not go, there is no need to pick me up, I am very exhausted"
"No Vic... I didn't call you for that... if I'm honest I called you about five times approximately..." The brunette on the other line was totally confused. This is crazy, she thought.
"Shauna tomorrow we'll talk, if she's about the nationals... yes I'll go... don't worry..."
"Listen to me Vic... I have a great conscience charge, you know that I really appreciate you and that for me you are like my sister from the heart and... God "
"Ehh Shau... are you okay?"
"What I want to explain to you is that... shit Victoria, Natalie, Lottie and I knew what Ty was planning..." The brunette frowned when she heard the names of the girls, she didn't understand anything.
"I don't understand... why do you mention them to the girls?" What was Taissa planning... Touching her forehead, Victoria closed her eyes waiting for a better explanation.
"Taissa... she wanted to leave Allie out of the nationals..." As if a bucket of cold water had been thrown in her face, Victoria choked on her own saliva and began to cough while the other girl was listening. "I know I should have told you before... but I didn't think Ty was planning to seriously harm your sister, I'm... sorry Vic"
“What?” Her heart skipped a beat, her knees began to give out. "Taissa really wanted to harm my sister?"
"Seriously, I'm so sorry Vic... tomorrow if you want to talk about it, we'll discuss it with the others..."
"Tomorrow?... Tomorrow Shauna?! My sister is in the hospital because of all of you, you are rubbish!" Shipman was totally embarrassed, he didn't dare answer. His words would not calm the anger formed by his friend. "Remember Shipman, an eye for an eye" And without thinking any further, Victoria negatively spilling anger cut off the call.
<ᴾᵒᵛ 'ⱽⁱᶜᵗᵒʳⁱᵃ>
"At what time I got to this place ..."
The noise already formed a great time ago made me fall into account that I was close, different aromas had received me. Everything was with little lighting, I did not see where I walked, from time to time I stumbled upon some small stones and my sore feet asked for shouting that I stopped to rest. Since hanging with Shauna, nothing had rested; I left my house totally blind, running to this place in the middle of the forest where most whs were supposed to celebrate both tríunfos.
I stopped in a fire near the crowd, observe each character carefully. I quickly saw Lottie who held a glass of red plastic. I approach her. While walking several people recognized me and greeted me, without omitting the fact that they were already with enough alcohol in their system.
Being a little closer to the girl, she decided to leave her place by giving my back, I accelerated the step. I was about to exclaim his name until one hand grabbed my arm, turning my heels.
"Why are you here? And you still continue with the uniform ..." His accent made him account for who was treated, Natalie. Holding my forearm with some force led me to a separated part.
"So now I am the one I must give explanations?"
"I shouted to greet you, what happens to you Imbecil?"
"I don't know, dimin your posture," his position changed, his shrugs and his gaze diverted a little over my shoulder.
"I don't understand what you're talking about," he hesitated a bit.
"Notes this stain? It is the damn blood of my younger sister Natalie" I said pointing to the great stain that had settled in my clothes. The blonde looked quickly and then posed her eyes towards the same place she was seeing a few seconds ago.
"As ... as she continues ..."
"Are you kidding me Natalie?"
"Shauna told me, I really tried to convince her not to do it,"
"Sufficient ..." I placed my hand centimeters from her face to shut her up. "How didn't you tell me before?" As they think of hiding something as horrible as that "plan" - I whispered by quoting with my fingers, Natalie did not respond. "Nat ... it's not fair," I said sighing.
"I don't know what to answer you, just ... I regret too much ..." His hand took mine and stroked her gently. "If I could go back time, I thought I would prevent this and other things ..." I did not dare to release it, she was warm and I wanted to speak with sincerity, her eyes never lie to me. "But if you want to take" revenge. "Victoria is not It is the solution - he approached me.
"No?" I asked, I was lost in the colorful color of her eyes. Natalie denied smiling "You wouldn't be able to kill or a fly even if you were given the opportunity Vic"
"Are you telling me weak?" I asked playing.
"I'm trying to say that violence is not the solution in this situation ... Talk to him with Ty," it was delicately advised, it was a tender moment and only she had reassured me. " Natalie Scatoraccio always reached my person in simple ways, and I loved her.
But the tender moment ended when he heard Shauna's voice shout how drunk towards a person.
With Nat we looked at each other and started running where the others were. The blonde spotted the girls and took me there.
"Side me all!" The chestnut exclaimed. "We don't have to worry about little Allie! Because Taissa solved the problem" upon arriving with Nat, Laura Lee asked us that Shauna was talking to what the blonde replied "She talks about Taissa's little plan"
Natalie when speaking made the attention of the girls perch on her and in me, the situation was tense and ugly. Taissa seeing me swallowed and spoke nervously.
"Natalie please, since when you cared? Shouldn't you smoke any peta or suck any cock? "Why are you here?" Ty now went to me. "
"Don't talk to them like this!" Shauna intervened again, the hand that pressed me now let me breathe, Natalie was about to answer. "
"Go to shit, Shauna, I don't need you to defend me or defend it." As I remember you were totally in accordance with the strategy of excluding your friend's sister! " The blonde replied. That sincerely did not come to me.
"What are they talking about?" Laura asked again, earning a "closes his mouth, Laura Lee" for all except for me, was entertaining looking at Shauna and starting talking.
"Is it true?" I asked. "Did you make the damn dead fly calling me on the phone so that I now discover thanks to Natalie that you agreed from the beginning?" They all shut up. "What a team is this ..." Shauna just drank more in front of me.
"Oh, let's, someone has to take this drunk home," Taissa added with contempt
"Repeal that, fox," again they began to argue but now with more volume.
"Or do you want me to repeat it?"
Nat looked at me. "They are crazy ... and that I didn't drink absolutely anything to say that this is totally funny ..." I whispered towards her a little, seeing how between Shauna and Taissa they wanted to hit themselves and they go with Lottie they tried to separate them.
"Oh oh ... the armed force came" Natalie said in my ear causing my head to see Jackie arrive with a totally serious countenance.
"Have now!" Enough!" our captain shouted managing to reassure both girls. Jackie turned her head to look at all the crowd that had formed. Jackie noticing that we didn't follow her shouted again. "Now!"
Natalie laughed with me as we walked behind all the others. Upon arriving at X Site Jackie started talking.
"I don't know what shit has happened but what I know is that it ended," her gaze perched on me. " "What shit, when did you appear?"
"Create me or I have an idea," I replied.
"In the end ... girls are nothing national ... and because of what I see we may not even bother us to climb the plane," Jackie was right, what we were happening was not common among all. " I released Natalie's hand and hugged myself feeling the fresh breeze of the night to greet my body. Why didn't I put on a stupid jacket? Natalie noticing my absence in her hand looked at me. But before I can ask me something Jackie spoke again.
"Very well, all in training." Each one of us looks at our captain without understanding her order, "I say it seriously, in training," we listened to what he asked, I had to separate from Nat to stay in the middle of Laura Read and go.
"This is what we will do ..." Jackie reported. "I want each of you to go and say something good about each of the team - your proposal caused me to roll my eyes.
"Is this a summer female camp?" Taissa spit with irony by laughing.
Jackie asked who wanted to be the first, as no one replied Laura Lee set out to be.
He started with Taissa telling him with total honesty and affection how Bella was in the eyes of "our" Lord. This made me laugh but I had to shut up so as not to show disrespect.
Laura continued by Van and the blonde was going to tell her the same thing that had told Taissa previously if it weren't for Lottie who exclaimed a little irritated "do not fuck me."
"Laura read what you did, but retire," without pretexts Jackie didn't let the little blonde end. " "Very good ... I'll be the first one," and just as Laura Lee started, Jackie did the same. "
"Taissa Turner you are the most fighter person I have never met, your great determination inspires me."
"Vanessa Palmer your smile always makes me happy."
"Victoria Stevens"
"I'm me ..." I whispered nervously
"I must recognize that you are the support of this team, if it were not for you the Yellow Jackets would not have existed. You deserve the respect of all those here" he released without hesitation and taking my shoulders, a smile grew on my face and a thank you barely audible came out of my lips.
"Laura Lee ... I admire your faith very."
"Nat, I love that you do not think about you and that you are always yourself,"
"Oh and is lethal playing Beer Pong," he intervened out of nowhere, the pelinanja taking several laughter from all.
"Then come, say it," Jackie separated some of us to give us space. " As I saw that it was alone I went to her.
"Jackie Taylor," I said subtly, she looked at me expectantly. "I appreciate having the confidence you give me in different situations, I admire you Jack ..." She only opened her arms to give me a hug, which I corresponded without hesitation. We separate after second and move away from her.
I managed to see Taissa alone.
"The ..." He turned my biting lips nervously.
"Vicky ... shit I know that my apologies do not solve anything but I want you to understand ... I really didn't want to damage Allie. I spend with my selfishness and my greed, I seriously hope you can understand me ..."
"I can not forgive you to leave my sister wrong, but if I understand you ..." the highest smiled at me while playing with the rings of her fingers." I just talk to me, I'm your friend and I will understand your point Sight because you know the best for the team, and that is what I highlight from you"
"Are we surely friends?" He asked with remarkable happiness, I nodded his question.
We both looked at each other with joy, until Shauna arrived and asked me for permission to talk to Ty.
At the end of this all experiment proposed by Jackie, we all divide. I lost sight of Natalie, Van and Taissa went together as well as Shauna and Jackie. We were Lottie, Laura Lee and me.
"I must go home, I prepared absolutely anything ..." I told both of them, they said the same.
"I can take you, just like Laura"
"If there is no space you get into the trunk," the blonde joked. We were walking to get to the route outside the forest, only on another way not to cross the people who remained there.
"Is it normal to want to take all my room?" Lottie asked to get the topic of conversation.
"We'll go for a Charlotte day"
<=>
"See you in a few hours, Victoria!" The black-haired woman yelled at me from the window.
"Rest!" I replied reaching to open the door of my house.
I heard the car engine start again. Lottie's father had brought us and he had been talking to us about how we would travel in a private plane he had taken out by himself.
I went through the door and locked it again, everything was as I had left it before. The half-full lunch box with some unsalted crackers, three bottles of water that were possibly already hot. I hurried to continue preparing my things. I had to have provisions to be with more energy before the game.
I separated my clothes in a suitcase along with other belongings like combs, makeup, and colognes.
In a handbag for hands I put what I would need so as not to get bored on the flight. A pair of headphones and an MP3 player with various song downloads. And so I continued until 4 am, when I finished I deigned to take a bath. The soap ran over and over again through the blood on my thigh and much of my abdomen. "I have to talk to Allie".
I thought. I left the bathroom so that I finally lay down to sleep. Tomorrow would be the big day. It would be our big day.
<Flash Forward>
"I take everything I need Mom...yes...oh for God's sake why would I take condoms?"
"Mom I have to go the taxi has arrived... I love you too... send my sister kisses, Bye"
Leaving with two medium suitcases from my house totally alone was a new stimulus. I wonder if when I move I will have the same feeling as now.
"Where, miss?"
"To the airport please and... good morning"
The way to the airport was fun, the taxi driver made me talk and some other laughs. Upon arrival he only charged me half the fee and honestly made me even happier. He helped me get my bags out of the car and said goodbye as if he were a relative of mine.
"Victoria!" They called me, I looked over my shoulder and it was Coach Scott.
"Coach, I was just about to come by, good morning"
"Good morning to you too, little one," he sighed and took a breath. "Do you need help? I see that one is heavier than the other," he said referring to the suitcases, I nodded quickly, in one suitcase I had everything that had to do with clothes and coats, in the other only objects to remember Canada.
The coach took my suitcase and we started walking together.
"The flight leaves in a few minutes if I'm not mistaken, I'm grateful to Mr. Matthew, if it wasn't for him I don't know what we would do right now"
"Did it cost you to find means of transportation?"
"Mmm something like that, the institute didn't have that much budget to pay for a flight," he stated. Like a true gentleman he opened the door for me and let me go first.
"What manners coach" I joked.
"I'm a mother's son," he said winking at me, he ordered me to stay close to him since he was going to look for the rest of the team and he didn't want to be kidnapped. "Hey Stevens, we're the last to arrive," he informed her.
"The last will be the first" My field of vision settled on the entire team with a woman who apparently was our guide? Scott walked faster and left me behind, basically in order to keep up with him he had to run.
"Here we are, thanks for waiting for us," the adult thanked, looking at our other coach, Mr. Martinez.
"Perfect, please follow me all" The lady in charge of our group took us to the private plane, at no time did she stop talking to Scott about boring things, I felt like an expectant girl listening to how unknown women wanted to flirt with my father. Noticing that we had already arrived, the lady informed us that we could begin to get on the plane and take a seat, the pilots would arrive later.
"I'll give you guys a hand," Ben said as he put his bag and my suitcase together in a drawer.
"What happened..." he released the blonde looking everywhere.
"I can't believe your father paid for a private plane."
"It's the only thing he does as a father... I guess I'll accept that," Lottie said exhaling dejectedly. I watched her out of the corner of my eye.
"Oh well, thank you Mr. Matthew..." The orange-haired girl and Laura Lee spoke in unison "thanking" the aforementioned man.
"Dad present-absent?" I asked, drawing the attention of the black-haired girl who was behind me.
"Of course," she replied. "Where are you going to sit?"
"I don't know... I feel a little tired so I'll go to the last seats" I turned to her to give her a face. Lottie hesitated to say anything to me apparently. "What's wrong?" She Holding her neck, she stopped at a seat located in the middle.
"Nothing, do you want me to help you?" With her finger I point to my suitcase "It looks a bit heavy for you to put it up there by yourself" she considered after accommodating her own luggage.
"Would you do me a big favor Lottie?" I tilted my head to indicate that he would follow me. My feet only dragged on the floor of the plane until I reached the seat. 'Give it to me' her hand pushed me a little to grab my suitcase, she opened that drawer and put it in simply"Strong as an oak tree" She laughed when she heard my compliment.
"I could lift the plane with one finger." Now it was my turn to laugh. Lottie moved to the side to make room for me to sit, which I did.
"Put your seat belt on, I wouldn't like to see you fly" The next act, the black-haired woman squatted and grabbed my seat belt to secure me to my seat. "You know I can do it myself right?" I whispered noticing her ear close to my face.
"Well... I want to make sure you're safe and well" I continued the game of whispering to each other, but this time she was centimeters from my face, looking at me with that smile that highlights her fangs, I adore them.
"Oh thank you Superwoman" I joked this time without whispering "I didn't know I had a superhero at my disposal" We laughed again. The black-haired woman tucked a lock behind her ear and looked down the hallway, noticing that only the Martinez family was standing.
"I'll go sit down, whatever happens come with me," she said, looking at me again. I raised my eyebrow playfully judging her "Don't look at me like that" And without further ado she went to her seat, leaving me alone and in silence with a small smile forming on my lips.
I settled better in my seat, my head was still on the back of it, I closed my eyes ready to sleep.
"May I sit down?" A male's voice made my eyes snap open. My sight adjusted to the figure standing in front of me. He was a skinny boy with a sad face.
"Of course," I answered, getting up from my seat so the boy passed. "Are you the son of Coach Martinez?" I asked, sitting back down once we were ready.
The dark-haired man looked at me and then nodded to my question before directing his attention to the window.
"You must be Javi, a pleasure" I closed my eyes again when I received no answers.
“How are you so sure I'm not Travis?” He asked me, but without opening my eyes I gave him a crooked smile.
"You don't look like a moron." Also... I know your brother, unfortunately..." Javi didn't answer, this made my left eye open and look at him out of the corner of my eye. A small smile formed on her lips but he hid it by directing his head towards the view of the window. "I'll sleep a little little Javi, wake me up when we land" An 'agree' affirmed the minor. I settled better in my seat, sighed a little and concentrated on resting. It was going to be a long flight to Canadá...

20 years of blogging at Boing Boing
Tumblr media
Twenty years ago today, Boing Boing became a blog. Mark Frauenfelder's first post linked to Street Tech, a now-dormant gadget blog. Now there are 160,000 more posts just like it and the impossible task of summarizing the best of them in yet another.
Founded as a print zine in 1988 by Mark and Carla Sinclair, Mark's personal retrospective posted earlier today is a must-read; following are a few of our greatest hits, proudest accomplishments, clickiest traffic monsters, and best features of all time.
Despite the tens of millions of words in our database – mostly wonderful things – it's oftentimes the shortest posts that get the most attention.
So it was with Xeni Jardin's Ralph Lauren opens new outlet store in the Uncanny Valley, a single-sentence reblog of a now-vanished post at another site highlighting the incompetently dysmorphic photomanipulations in one of the fashion house's ads.
Ralph Lauren tried to force us to remove the post, to no avail.
That wasn't our first rodeo, either. In 2008, were were sued by MagicJack, makers of a VoIP dongle, after criticizing its terms of service. We stood our ground and beat them in court. Ten years later, Playboy sued us for posting about someone else's uploaded cover collection, claiming that linking to things is a form of copyright infringement. We beat them too, with the help of able friends at the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
It's not all law and chaos, though.
Mark Frauenfelder says he's most proud of his two-part series on the fortified residential mailboxes of Los Angeles, Survival of the fittest mailbox and Fortified mailboxes, part 2. Readers, though, say his greatest gift to the world of letters is the gentlemen of Boing Boing.
A trilogy of Cory Doctorow's most incisive writing on technology, policy and freedom is found in Lockdown, based on his keynote speech to the Chaos Computer Congress in 2011, The Coming Civil War over General Purpose Computing, and Anodyne Anonymity. Also, would you just look at that banana. Furthermore, Christ, what an asshole.
David Pescovitz is a collector of unpopular culture with an affinity for haunted ontology, mall nostalgia and cryptids (more!, with a Grammy on the shelf for his part in reissuing the Voyager Golden Record.
But it's his touching obituary for Mark, his older brother, that will not be forgotten.
Xeni Jardin's posted countless articles about cutting-edge tech and light-hearted nods to the wonders of the web, and more seriously about politics, but it's her writing about cancer, hers and others', that sticks with readers. The Diagnosis; When life hands you cancer, make cancer-ade; Obamacare saved my life; Cancer and cannabis: How I learned to stop worrying and love medical marijuana; A medal for completing breast cancer treatment; and We should be worried that science has not yet brought us closer to understanding cancer.
Rob Beschizza's The Weird of Wendy Pini profiles one of America's most successful women cartoonists. His random generators include the Psygnosis Game Generator, the North Korean Press Release Generator and the Audiophile Hardware Review Generator. (For those who don't revile them, Rob's disturbing mouth-eyed politician shoops are collected in the gallery item Corinthian Leather). Fissure opens in Chess AI scene is a deep dive into a code-plagiarism scandal. He once reviewed a loaf of snot.
He eulogized his mother, Mandy Johnson, in 2016.
Did you know Boing Boing publisher Jason Weisberger was namechecked in a saucy romance novel?
Jason has also written obituaries for his close friends Molly, Lucy, Calliope and Nemo.
We published critical games writing under the aegis of Offworld, edited by Leigh Alexander: All the women I know in video games are tired and Why Silent Hill mattered. Zoë Quinn's call to creative arms, Punk Games, remains as relevant now as it was five years ago.
Laura Hudson's Women take a place at the pinball table is a deep look at a unique competetive area, complemented by her excellent reviews of games as different as Undertale — choose to kill monsters or understand them — and Bloodborne — In Bloodborne's brutal world, I found myself.
Our longtime science editor Maggie Koerth-Baker's analysis of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster was featured in the anthology The Best Science Writing Online 2012. Don't miss her profile of James Watson, either.
Though known for chaingun blogging, we pioneered the trend toward Fancy Lookin' Features on the web, such as Maggie's Cassini Trip Reset, highlighting the astonishing imagery from NASA's probe, and Rob Beschizza's Friendly Darkness in the Palace of Utopian Fantasy, linking rare threads of modern and Victorian fantasy.
Here's just a few more of the nice features we've published over the years:
1906: Vintage Photographs by Mike Shaughnessy Leaking Secrets, leaking Blood by Raul Gutierrez Death in Space, by Maggie Koerth-Baker Ghost Babies, by Mark Dery A Season in Hell, by Mark Dery Hajj for Heathens, by Omar Chatriwala Maps, by Simon Parkin
Other guests are too many to mention – there are more than five hundred contributors in our archives now – but they account for many of our finest posts. Among the best are Sawyer Rosenstein's Don't tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon and the many annual iterations of David Ng and Ben Cohen's Halloween Candy Hierarchy.
Glenn Fleishman's Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto is typeset in the then-new Google typeface it was about, and What it's like to be on Jeopardy is about his brief but impressive stint on the game show.
Unseen World War I photos: German Trenches reveals a unique collection of photographs inherited by Dean Putney, our longtime developer, from his great-grandfather Walter Koessler.
Carl Malamud is well-known for Liberating America's secret, for-pay laws, and we're immensely proud to have helped him make his stand.
We've also published loads of fiction over the years, including our own, such as Cory's By His Things Will You Know Him and The Man Who Sold The Moon, Jason's Kevin's List, and Rob's Mixtape of the Lost Decade, Such Bravery and Nomen Ludi.
Finally, here are our top traffic posts since we started counting: a master key for winning at blogging. But only if you have a time machine, because the web, as they say, is dead.
1. Nigerian astronaut lost in space
2. Rickrolling is sexist, racist and often transphobic in context
3. 'To Donald Trump,' by Leland Melvin, former NASA Astronaut and NFL Player
4. 16-year-old girl who took nude selfie photos faces adult sex charges
5. Campus rapist given lenient sentence to avoid "severe impact on him"
6. Man stole $122m from Facebook and Google by sending them random bills, which the companies dutifully paid
7. Climate change denier Rupert Murdoch just bought National Geographic, which gives grants to scientists
8. Trump is angry at NBC News for using this photo of him, so please don't use this enhanced, enlarged version of it for anything
9. I'm married. I'm a woman. I'm addicted to porn.
10. For sale: (1) California ghost town

It does make quite some sense. I think in a previous post too you mentioned how this is what also has her go against Coach Ben. There is no authority in Laura Lee's life but God, and it's not like that dude will come and say "hey maybe you should do things differently".
I think that last point provides very fertile soil for a Laura Lee corruption arc, had she been around for longer.
She already says/does what she thinks is right back in Wiskayok, which is still within the confines of social acceptability. In the locker room scene she sings along to Shoop with the rest + she attends the party after nationals, which shows that she's not entirely without branching out of her bubble.
But indeed, Coach Ben and the funeral and interpreting Lottie's visions as something from God have something in them that could go hard in another direction. It makes sense for her character, she was likely raised this way. But when everything comes down to being "God's plan", there is quite some room to excuse your own wrongs at some point.
I wouldn't have been surprised if she had interpreted the snow falling when Jackie slept outside as some divine punishment. Whatever is in the woods influencing Lottie could through her indirectly pull Laura Lee into its grasp. And there is nobody around that she may feel the need to justify herself to. Maybe Lottie, but I think in a Laura Lee survives scenario Lottie would just follow her for that sort of anchor that she can provide.
THINKING of how the first time we see laura lee sort of connect with any of the girls is when lottie comes to her for guidance. like her conviction and faith and - to be frank - her lack of consideration for others' faith or lack thereof really alienates her from the others. in some ways the most isolated ones on that team are her and nat (and misty but misty is not even IN the team. she carries equipment). interesting how technically what jackie says to nat in the pilot kind of does apply to laura lee too in that she doesn't seem to care about how others perceive her. where nat confronts others and calls them out on their bullshit, laura lee defends her beliefs even when she's met with scoffs. and so with this in mind there is something about lottie connecting with them both and how lottie is the first girl we see either of them have a real connection with in the wilderness. because lottie feels/becomes someone alienated from the rest too albeit for different reasons

Duty Calls
Being an intern on the Spider-Man: Homecoming set gets you into some interesting situations...
(2,250 words)
Warnings: mostly fluff with some smut at the end (oral-male receiving)
Tumblr media
When you got an internship with Marvel after your second year of college, you thought life was perfect. You’d be working with real directors, real publicists, and even real actors. You had been majoring in film production, and after especially impressing one of your professors, he put in a good word for you with some friends of his at Marvel. Before you knew it, you were on a plane to Atlanta to help with the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. You thought you’d be in the action—reviewing film, setting up interviews, sitting in on meetings. Little did you know, intern was basically codeword for errand girl. Every morning you woke up at five so you could get all of the directors and leads their coffee before they arrived on set, then going back to grab the orders for all of the extras and crew. You were constantly running paperwork and messages back and forth, making phone call after phone call. The only cool part was letting the actors know that they were needed back on set when they were in their trailers. Typically you just knocked on their doors and gave a little “Mr./Miss Whoever, you’re needed on set.” Which was normally followed by a “be right out!” Sometimes they even added your name on the end. It wasn’t much, but it meant a lot that they cared enough to remember your name, and whenever they passed you on set they’d be sure to thank you for coffee or whatever else you had done for them that day. You could never figure out why people tried to demonize movie stars. Either all of them were amazing people, or you were on the nicest set ever.
If you ever had free time, you would spend it with a boy named Harrison. He was best friends with Tom Holland, and tagged along on set all the time. You two got along really well, probably because you were the only two there who weren’t professionals. You never wanted to intrude on their little time together though, so whenever Tom came round when you and Harrison were hanging out, you made sure to come up with an excuse to leave them be. Tom and Harrison would always fake pout and beg you to stay around, but you would always reply “duty calls,” which would earn a “duty sucks,” from the boys. It was your little inside joke and you savored it. You had an inside joke with a movie star. “Y/N!” One of the directors called to you. You got together all of the papers you were working on and rushed over. “Listen, Laura’s feeling pretty sick. I think this heat wave has finally gotten to her. Anyways, I just sent Tom off to take twenty, can you let him know that we’re done for the day and that we’re starting an hour early tomorrow? Then you’re free to go, great work today.” “Yes sir, see you bright and early!” You made your way to Tom’s trailer, you could hear him listening to 90’s R&B inside. You knocked louder than usual to make sure he could hear you over the music. “Mr. Holland? John wanted me to let you know that-” You were cut off by him swinging the door open. “How many times have I told you to call me Tom?” He said with a raised eyebrow. “And how many times have I continued to call you Mr. Holland? I’m like the assistant to the assistant to the assistant to your assistant. I need to keep it professional,” you stated. “Anyway, Laura feels pretty sick so we’re all done for the day. We’re starting an hour early tomorrow to make up for lost time. Have a good night.” “Wait!” You spun around to see what was the matter. “Uhh, could you help me get out of this suit?” “Uh, yeah, of course.” He opened the door more to let you into his trailer, Shoop by Salt-N-Pepa was blaring over the speaker. He quickly went to his phone to turn it down, looking slightly embarrassed by his song choice. “I love Salt-N-Pepa,” you said. “No way!” He sounded like a teenager from Queens, he cleared his throat and tried again in a much deeper, English voice, “uh, no way.” You couldn’t help but laugh as a blush started to form on his cheeks. “Sorry, sometimes I just get a little stuck in Peter-mode.” You brushed off the situation so as to protect him from any more embarrassment. “R U Ready was the only song I danced to at my senior prom, I’m still amazed they played a song that good.”
“I still don’t get the difference between homecoming and prom.” “Well,” you started to explain as you began undoing the back of his suit, “homecoming is like a cheaper version of prom, and everyone is allowed to go. Only upperclassmen can go to prom, unless you get asked by one. Plus homecoming is usually like a community thing, too. There’s a week full of activities to lead up to it, then a big assembly on Friday where all of the classes compete against each other, seniors always win. And then there’s the huge football game, one of the players will usually have an afterparty, and then the next day you dress up, fight a hangover, then go get more drunk.” You explained  as he shimmied out of the muscle suit, leaving himself in nothing but a little thong that the costume crew forced him to wear with the suit. You turned around quickly, seeing as you could practically see half of his dick under the tiny fabric. “Sorry! Sorry, uhh, I kinda forgot. Costume crew is just really used to it to be honest. I’m sorry.” Both of your cheeks were bright red. “No, no. You’re fine, I get it,” you laughed, trying to diffuse the situation. Luckily Tom quickly changed the subject back as he threw on a pair of nike joggers. “Did you ever get asked when you were younger?” “Yeah I went all four years actually.” “Doesn’t surprise me.”
“Why do you say that?” “Well because, you’re you.” You laughed at the pitiful response, “What’s that supposed to mean, Spidey?” “Oh come on, you’re smart and sweet.. and beautiful.” “Oh please, you’re only saying that because I never mess up your coffee order.” You said with a smirk. “No really, I mean it. Why do you always act so, cool around me? I mean, I’m not trying to say that I’m some big shot actor that every girl should swoon over. But, the makeup team always flirts with me and tries to talk to me off set. You almost seem to run away from me. Do you not like me?” “No! Tom, it’s nothing like that. It’s just, I know you get treated like that all the time, and I figured you didn’t like it much. So I didn’t want to be that person, I guess.” “I would like it if it was coming from you.” He looked at you sheepishly. “What?” He took a step towards you, putting a hand on your waist. “I would like it, if you tried flirting with me. I always try to with you but, you always seem to run away before I really have a chance.” He put a hand on your chin and lifted your face up, you were inches from his lips. Your heart was beating so fast. You wanted nothing more than to crash your lips into his, but wait.
“Is this a test?” You asked, slightly stepping away. “Jesus, Y/N, stop thinking about the internship for one goddamn second, and think about the moment.’’ With that, he pressed his lips against yours. It was easily the best kiss of your life. It felt like you were in the movie. “That was so cheesy,” you laughed. He fake frowned at your remark before grabbing your hands and falling back onto the couch, bringing you down with him. You straddled his lap and continued to kiss him, running your hands through those perfect curls. You started kissing along his jawbone, working your way down to neck. You kissed more aggressively at the nape of his neck, surely leaving marks. Makeup crew is gonna be so pissed. Tom let out a deep, throaty moan, “You’ve already found my weakness,” he chuckled. You were confused at first, then you felt the bulge start growing underneath you. You raised an eyebrow, letting him know you were fully aware of his growing erection. “C’mon, there’s very thin fabric between us and you were kissing my neck. There’s really nothing-” You cut him off with a kiss, knowing he would defend himself forever. A moan escaped your lips as you began grinding on him. Noticing your parted lips, Tom took the bottom one in between his teeth, pulling gently. Wetness started to pool between your legs, “looks like you’ve found mine, too.” You said with a smirk. Every professional thought completely left your head as you began palming him through his thin sweatpants. Instinct took over, and you found yourself placing kisses down his stomach. Soon you were on your knees in front of him. Tom looked down at you, biting his lip with anticipation. He lifted himself off the couch a bit so that you could pull down his sweatpants. You forgot that he wasn’t wearing any underwear underneath, so when his dick finally sprung out, you were shocked. It was just so, big. You were just sitting there, mouthing gaping, staring at Tom Holland’s dick. “You don’t have to, if you’re not comfortable I completely understand we could just talk or-” “No! Believe me that’s not it, at all. I want to.” You smiled up at him before taking his length in your hands. You gave him a few pumps before taking the tip of your tongue and barely rubbing it across the base. His jaw was clenched and he was staring at you with a desperate look in his eyes. You couldn’t help but smirk at the power you had over him. “Please, Y/N,” he moaned. And with that, you licked his length, base to tip, before swirling your tongue around the head. You lapped up the faint pre-cum that dribbled from his tip. He groaned loudly before running his hand through your hair. You began taking his length, savoring the feeling of his hand in your hair as you bobbed up and down. You could hear him muttering little praises in between throaty moans. You could tell he was close, his breathing was shaky and getting caught in his throat and the grip on your hair was getting tighter. It was time for the big finale. You looked up at him and waited for his eyes to lock on yours. Once they did you took his entire length down your throat, which you’ll admit was quite challenging. “Oh, fuck Y/N,” he groaned as hot cum filled the back of your throat. You stood up, not really knowing what the appropriate next step was in this situation. Luckily, Tom decided for you. He grabbed your hand and pulled you back down to the couch and wrapped an arm around you as he wriggled his sweats back on. You had to admit, it felt nice to be snuggled up under Tom Holland’s arm. Your bliss was rudely interrupted by a knock at the door. Both of you stood up, wide-eyed. “Tom, you in there?” It was Harrison. “Fuck!” You whispered. You would never be taken seriously if anyone found out what happened. Tom led you into the bathroom and held a finger to his lips, telling you not to make a sound. You heard to door open from the bathroom, your heart was beating so fast. “What’s up, mate?” Tom asked cooly. “I’ve been waiting at the car forever man, didn’t Y/N come by and tell you that we were done for the day?” “Oh, yeah, I just uhh, got caught up. I’ll be right out, yeah?” “Sure, hey speaking of Y/N, do you know where she is? Her car is still here but I can’t find her anywhere.” “That’s weird man, I have no idea. I’ll call her. See you at the car in five?” “Yeah see you.” Tom closed the door and let out a relieved sigh. You came out from the bathroom, still nervous. But when you and Tom made eye contact, you couldn’t help but bust out laughing. “Oh, there you are! God, Harrison’s been looking all over for you? What were you doing in there?” He joked. “Paperwork,” you retorted. The two of you giggled more before Tom came over and placed his hands on your waist. “So how would you like coming over later? We could watch a movie, drink some beers, maybe I could return the favor.” He said with a raised eyebrow. “How could I say no to that?” “Perfect, does seven sound good? I’ll text you the address.” “Sounds great, Mr. Holland.” The two of you started towards the door before you stopped him. “Wait, we probably shouldn’t leave at the same time.” “See, I knew you were the smart one.” He gave you a quick peck before you made your way out of his trailer, secretly thanking your professor for putting in that good word with Marvel.
