My wife went a bit overboard, but I am very appreciative.

I believe the "Women of NASA" lego set is the only lego space shuttle I don't have in my collection now.

I got her the succulents set.

i have a couple of the seasonal sets, and stuff from lunar new year, but i need more plants so bad

Dried Flower Arrangement 10314. I received this as a gift and definitely wouldn’t have chosen it myself. The palette is fairly muted and dull but it does fit the Thanksgiving centrepiece it’s trying to be, I guess. The oranges and burgundies are nice but there’s only one sage green colour.

My build review: This was a slog!!! The many elements are fiddly and the connections to the body aren’t very strong. When you go to assemble them they are all in the way of all the other pieces and parts fall off quite easily (like the gerbera petals, rose bloom, wheat stalks). Very frustrating.

I quite enjoyed the construction of the rose element (again, not overly stable to attach) and I do quite like the dark nougat/tan colour for the flower.

Overall I didn’t enjoy building this set. It took me about 2 hours. The wheat and pearl millet (as identified in the instructions?) were hard on the fingers and the many clusters of yellow flowers on stalks were tiresome, even though they were super cute once finished.

Also the bags need to opened 1-5-3-4-2-6-7 even though essentially 2 and 5 are the same components minus 1 pumpkin and whip combo. I ended up with like 6 extra whips and wasn’t sure what to do with them.

Much have rather built the orchid set IMHO. I will spend January trying to kitbash this to see what else I can come up with, just for fun.

MK has a certain connection with plants, he asked Pigsy of why he bought that plant for him when he was a child, Pigsy answered with "I don't know kid. You had a look in your eyes at that time, like you were longing for something...if i didn't bought that plant, i would feel very guilty for some reason..."
