Lucifer agere headcanons

Regresses between ages 4-8

He’s alone a lot (or at least he was before reconnecting with Charlie)  so has the time and space to be little regularly without fear of others judgment 

he usually regresses voluntarily since it helps him feel better when he's not doing so well but he also slips into his headspace easily if he’s somewhere he feels safe 

It’s been very helpful for him and he doesn't feel particularly ashamed of it. It is a sensitive subject however when it comes to charlie. He feels like he’s let her down a lot and worries that being little when she needs him to be a father to her is somehow letting her down further (it’s not but he worries)

He is pretty clumsy and accident prone when small 

Pretty talkative little. He will chatter excitedly to anyone who will listen and if no one is around he will talk to his ducks, himself, furniture he accidentally ran into, a loud sound he heard etc.

It’s very difficult to put little lucifer to bed due to his energy level and his general aversion to sleeping (little and big he gets night terrors of the fall) 

Love’s the bath! When else are his duckies going to get a chance to swim?

Like’s to draw and build and play pretend. He also likes to go flying although unless vaggie is around (or husk is feeling particularly helpful) he’s not allowed to after an incident where he got stuck in the chandelier of the hotel 

Like’s apples naturally. He also loves peanut butter, goldfish, fruit snacks and popcorn. Has an easier time eating lots of little snacks throughout the day than he does remembering to eat a full three meals

Tends to bring snacks to wherever he’s currently p;aying and then gets distracted and forget about them and leave them there 

He has his ducks to play with and he also will make use of the hotel's shared toy box when the mood strikes him. He has one of  those big art kits too which he loved 

He has a lot of fidgets he likes to keep near him at all times. Hes especially fond of chewlery 

Lilith knew about his regression but wasn't very involved with it

He doesn't have a caregiver and doesn't necessarily feel like he needs one. Those at the hotel look after him if he’s small the same way they do with other regressors but he doesn't really have a caregiver that is his. Vaggie will sometimes return the favor of helping him with having aspects of heaven that he misses 

When he's little anytime he shape shifts he becomes the baby version of whatever creature he's shifting into

🦆 Absolutely LOVES Blue's Clues! His favorite character is Joe because they both like ducks. He even watches it with Angel whenever he's little, too. They even play Blue's Clues together and pretend to look for pawprints that are on the clues (👐 Blue's Clues 👐).

🍎 Lucifer even made his own Boris stuffie when he was big so he can be like Joe ^^

🎪 He also loves these shows: Sarah and Duck, Peep and the Big Wide World, Wonder Pets, Mighty Ducks, The Backyardigans, Jellystone!, DuckTales (both classic and reboot), Mister Roger's Neighborhood, Sesame Street (Ernie is his favorite character because they both love rubber duckies), Sitting Ducks, and Pecola.

🦆 He loves bubbles! He can make them into animals like balloon animals.

🍎 He has his own mini circus tent that he goes into whenever he's feeling big feelings (idea heavily inspired by @shhtickerbook).

🎪 Lucifer also has a Blue's Clues tent. He and Angel play in it together when they're both tiny.

🦆 Lucifer can sometimes be forgetful and accidentally lose track of things, like books and toys. He doesn't even fully remember where he had them last, but he finds them with encouragement and retracing his steps.

🍎 Lucifier doesn't really know his regressed age range. All he knows is that he regresses to kidspace.

**[A few hours later]**

Little Lucifer: *Stirring awake, clutching his abdomen* Oww... my tummy hurts...

Angel: *Immediately at his side, comforting* It’s okay, Luci. Bel is here. She’s going to check on you.

Husk: *Alert, moving quickly* Bel, Luci is awake. He’s complaining of tummy aches.

Bel: *Quickly approaching* Let me see, Lucifer. *Examines him* Oh dear... Lucifer, you’re having contractions. You’re going into labor.

Little Lucifer: *Wide-eyed and frightened* No, no, I don’t want this! I don’t want to be sick!

Bel: *Calmly but urgently* Lucifer, listen to me. It’s okay. Your body is doing what it needs to do. We’re going to help you through this, alright?

Little Lucifer: *Attempting to get out of bed, tears streaming down his face* I-I can’t... I don’t want to...

Angel: *Gently but firmly holding him* Luci, it’s going to be okay. We won’t let anything happen to you. Trust us.

Husk: *Assisting Angel in gently guiding Lucifer back to bed* Come on, Luci. You need to stay here. Bel needs to help you and the baby.

Little Lucifer: *Clings tightly to Angel, feeling vulnerable and scared* Please... don’t let it hurt... I’m scared...

Angel: *Holding him close, whispering soothingly* We’re right here, Luci. We won’t leave your side. Trust Bel. She knows what to do.

Bel: *Prepares for the birth, gathering supplies and setting up* Lucifer, I need you to try to relax as much as possible. This is going to be difficult, but we’re here with you every step of the way.

**[Several hours into labor]**

Lucifer: *Gritting his teeth through a contraction, his demeanor shifting from little to his normal self* It hurts... so much...

Bel: *Wiping his forehead gently* You’re doing great, Lucifer. Just a little longer.

Angel: *Holding Lucifer’s hand tightly* You’re so strong, love. We’re here with you.

Husk: *Offering words of encouragement* You’re almost there, Luci. Just keep breathing.

Lucifer: *Struggling through another contraction, tears in his eyes* I... I can’t...

Bel: *Checking the progress* You’re almost fully dilated, Lucifer. You’re doing perfectly.

Lucifer: *Grits his teeth, trying to stay calm* Please... make it stop...

Angel: *Stroking his hair gently* Just a little more, Luci. We’re here.

Husk: *Supporting him through each painful moment* You’re doing amazing, Lu.

Bel: *Prepares for the final stages of labor* Push when you feel ready, Lucifer.

Lucifer: *Nods, pushing with all his strength* I... I can’t...

Bel: *Encouragingly* You can do this, Lucifer. Just a little more. Deep breaths, and push when you’re ready.

Angel: *Kissing Lucifer’s forehead, holding his hand* We’re here with you, love. You’ve got this.

Husk: *By Lucifer’s side, offering support* You’re almost there, Lu. Just keep going.

Lucifer: *Takes a deep breath, pushing hard through the pain* Aahhh... it hurts so much...

Bel: *Reassuringly* That’s it, Lucifer. You’re doing great. I can see the baby’s head. Just one more big push.

Lucifer: *Screams through the effort, pushing with everything he has*

Angel: *Whispering softly* You’re almost there, Luci. Just one more.

Husk: *Holding Lucifer steady, his voice steady* We’re right here. You’re not alone.

Lucifer: *With a final, powerful push, collapses back, panting heavily* Is... is the baby...?

Bel: *Carefully delivering the baby, a look of relief on her face* You did it, Lucifer. The baby is here. *Gently wrapping the newborn in a blanket, handing them to Lucifer*

Lucifer: *Tears of relief and joy streaming down his face as he holds the baby* Oh... oh my God...

Angel: *Crying with happiness, leaning in close to see the baby* You did it, Luci. Look at our beautiful baby.

Husk: *Eyes filled with emotion, watching the new family* You were amazing, Luci. Absolutely amazing.

Bel: *Smiling warmly, checking on both Lucifer and the baby* Both of you are healthy. Rest now, Lucifer. You’ve done an incredible job.

Lucifer: *Looking down at the baby, overwhelmed with love and relief* Thank you... all of you...

Angel: *Kissing Lucifer and the baby* We love you so much, Luci. You’re incredible.

Husk: *Nodding, his voice choked with emotion* We’re so proud of you.

Little age- 5-8

-He loves baths(with all his rubber ducks)

-He always wears socks because of his sensory issues

Lucifer agere headcanons

He tends to regress either very little, 1 or younger, or regress to a middle space around 10 with no real in between 

He has a much harder time with his regression than his brothers and does it very rarely 

Lucifer is a prideful man and hates the vulnerability that comes with regressing, especially because his regression age can get so young. He feels like he needs to always be big so that he can take care of his brothers 

He has a bad habit of pushing his regression off as much as he can so that he can take care of everyone else. He has such a strong will that he rarely slips unless he is 100% alone with no chance of anyone needing him 

Logically he knows there isn't anything wrong with being little but it hurts his pride that he needs it. He thinks that if he were just a little stronger, just a little better, he wouldn’t need regression at all and it frustrates him endlessly that he relies on it so heavily 

He has an easier time regressing to his older age because he still feels somewhat in control 

When he’s in his younger headspace he becomes somewhat helpless. He can barely walk and fine motor skills are almost gone 

When he’s in his babyspace he doesn't have any real control over his emotions the way he does while big or even while in his older headspace 

Lucifer will go completely nonverbal in his younger headspace and ends up crying or babbling to communicate his needs and becoming very frustrated with both himself and you when he isn’t understood 

Since he usually regresses alone his younger self is not used to having someone there to take care of him. Once he has had a taste of having you there to care for him he can’t get enough and becomes very clingy. 

Little Lucifer tends to have issues with his memories and generally gets memories from when he’s big in blurs or flashes which he quickly loses hold of. He knows how he feels about things but the actual reasons why often escape him 

Naptime is huge for Lucifer when he’s regressed. Because it’s one of the few times that he physically can’t get any work done he doesn’t feel guilty for getting the sleep he desperately needs and on more than one occasion Lucifer has spent his entire regression fast asleep 

If you carry him and he will hide his face in your shoulder in embarrassment to avoid having to look into your eyes but he really does like it 

If you are watching him he will do bathtime. When Lucifer trusts you enough to watch him while regressed it means he trusts you with everything and this includes bathing him while he’s tiny 

Little Lucifer loves music and has several records that he likes to have on specifically when he’s little. 

He isn’t a very active little all things considered. He does so much every day that when he finally allows himself to regress he doesn’t want to do anything that takes a lot of effort. This, combined with the fact that he won't regress outside his room, means activities are somewhat limited 

His favorite snack is poison apple slices with honey and and warm milk 

If he’s little he won’t leave his room so unless he has snacks tucked away or you are watching him and willing to run down to the kitchen he doesn’t usually eat while little

He loves when you bottle feed him. He finds it incredibly soothing to be held close to you while he eats 

He has one stuffed animal that you got him after learning about his regression which is a peacock and a baby blanket that he loves to be swaddled up in. they are his biggest comfort items when small 

On his own he will remove a few of his layers and let himself be less formally dressed when little. If you are there taking care of him he will let you put him in almost any outfit you want as long as he thinks it looks good 

Lucifer started using a paci when he started sucking his thumb while regressing to try and avoid that particular habit. The downside is that he often times finds them to be yet another frustrating roadblock to making his wants and needs understood 

Getting him to wear diapers while little is the biggest struggle. It’s the thing he feels most insecure about regarding his regression and for a long time he decided it was better to have to clean his sheets every time he regressed rather than risk being caught purchasing or wearing diapers. Even with a caregiver he trusts it’s terrifying and deeply embarrassing for him and being changed usually results in him crying. With a lot of praise and comfort he is learning to accept it though 

Absolutely no one knows about his regression besides you. Barbatos has his suspicions but he would never let Lucifer know about them out of respect for the man. He only told you after you two got together and made a pact because he didn’t want there to be anymore secrets between you 

He started regressing shortly after the fall when the weight of becoming a demon, loosing his sister, birthing satan and adjusting to his new life became too much

Husk: *wakes up due to a soft smack on his face* Huh?

Little Luci: *holding Osian with the biggest smile on his face* Ocey is all better! The doctor’s are saying it’s a miracle!

Husk: *sits up and sees Luci holding Osian* Is he truly better? Like not contagious?!

Little Luci: Yeah! No sign of the virus. And he didn’t loose his hearing! He can hear how much I love him! My baby is a tough baby!

Husk: *feels a strong way of relief wash over him* Oh thank god! He’s healthy.

Little Luci: *turns his head and coughs in his elbow*

Husk: ?! Luci?! You okay?!

Little Luci: Yeah. Just a tickle in my throat! *Luci has a high fever and is fighting a stress-related illness*

Husk: Can I hold Ozzie?

Little Luci: Sure! *gently passes Osian to Husk.
