So I have to do a big birthday shout out to my little baby brother Ean!!! He is absolutely amazing!!!! My Brother

So i decided recently to go back to college, and in order to submit my application they require me to write a personal essay. At first i was going to write about my adoption, something that i went through but then it hit me that i do not remember much but only from what my family has told me and a lot of it is not good. So, i thought about what else i can write about and hit me i could write how i helped raise my brother since the age of 3/4 years old. I was adopted and at the age of 19 i left my parents to go and find out who my biological parents were, in doing so i met my brother Devin who at the time was 3 years old. He is my inspiration to go back to school and get my degree in Nursing. Not only am i doing this for myself but i am also doing this for him.

Choosing to have a pet over having a baby… it’s like… the same thing. Now I haven’t had a baby, but I do have a little sister and a little brother, and in my culture my younger siblings are “technically” my kids lol.

Now my little brother isn’t that much younger than me we went to highschool together for 2 years, and I was at all his football games bc I signed up for the sports medicine class, but my sister? God. My Sister is basically my child, and I blame and don’t blame my parents but.. that’s a whole ‘nother story for another day.

What I’m trying to say is that I grew up waking up and making my sister her bottles, changing her diapers, bathing her, helping my mom feed her and take care of her. My sister and I have been sharing a room for as long as I can remember. I went to her teacher meetings went to her awards ceremonies her games, dance competitions, she asks me for permission to do things, other than food and bills I provide her clothes, shoes, uniforms, and everything else she needs for hair makeup , skin care , etc. so yea. Lol

Wow… this is what I mean about word vomit. Lol

Anyways what I’m trying to say is that I don’t want a puppy or a child, both very high maintenance and I just don’t have the patience in me to take care of a puppy, or a child.. and I can’t train for shit bc I get frustrated my point is they’re both a handful they’re both clingy, Whiny crybaby’s. And I type this while my sister is cuddled up to my lower back and my new puppy is cuddled up to my chest/neck in bed.

I wouldn’t change it though, they are my home.

But right now I can’t even take care of myself. My thoughts and feelings are too overwhelming to me. And you are the one who hugs me. You says it’s okay to feel like this.
