i will say, as a poor person, i am VERY mad that a toy for rich people is being forced onto us from every angle more and more every year, and it's becoming harder to go without one. that sucks. i can't afford a piece of shit that breaks either physically when you drop it a couple times or is bricked intentionally by malicious updates because they want you to buy the next version, nor can I afford a monthly phone bill for an object i'd only be using as a glorified ID.

ok so. hm. i have no idea how to use Ubertooth One and don't feel like having to buy the little dongle thing.. (I've never really had to reverse engineer hardware much before tbh) but if I DO figure it out, (or if you tell me how to just get it working with my existing BT hardware on my Win7 machine or my OpenMediaVault server which is a repurposed PC) I'll send the sniffed stuff to you, and if possible try out any Force Band hacks over on my machines. I DO have two bands (one for main use, the other is a spare for dual-wielding, or in this case a stunt double in case something goes bad) so if we ever figure out how to mod 'em, I'd be more than glad to test out any mods! (maybe we could even make a sith/first order one like what the concept art had..)

Only bad part here is that, well, I just can't use Windows 10 so that can complicate things because DAMN NEAR EVERY REVERSE-ENGINEERED TECH TOY LIBRARY THING (e.g. lego mario python library) NEEDS WINDOWS 10 TO WORK AND ITS BULLSHIT!!

i do NOT remember how to use ubertooth unfortunately because i havent worked on that project in like two years and i kept bricking my raspi before i could really do anything meaningful with it sadly ): BUT im definitely interested in looking at this in some capacity. would be cool to get something going with it!!
