Originally, Kitty was born and raised in San Francisco, but while she was still living with her parents, they moved to a small, picket fence, cookie cutter town in Kansas. The kind where it was mandatory to attend church if you wanted to exist in the elusive community of he wash up up, boring and bland who make plastic mannequins seem real. The only upside of it is being able to chase the jerk who tried to peek under her skirt with a rifle in hand.

Bobby is from Houston, not having stepped foot much outside his hometown. The furthest he's been from home was running away from the baseball field he grew disdain for when he realized he was the only one who remember it was just a game. He hitched a ride to the next town, somewhere between Angletown and Bay city before his father found and made him walk home beside the car. He doesn't like baseball anymore after that.

Jubilee lived in a crime reeking neighbourhood in Seol, SK, cornered by people who thought it was painfully interesting that a 6 year old could do what she did.

Despite growing up in the Mansion, Charles always made sure to tell Kurt that his roots can always be found in Berlin, in case he ever wants to explore his past. Sometimes, when he was little, Kurt would teleport in Logan's room to play with his old army equipment, his favorite items would be the steel plates with the German map on it. Logan sat through him painting every town, village, and city, because Kurt was excited about the possibility of finding his parents.

Laura's origins seem similar to the ones she had in Logan, - her birth place may have been Eden Labs, but she seems to be very knowledge about Spanish. My take on it is that the nurse who sent Charles and Logan the message in the movie smuggled as many kids as she could to Mexico before she was caught.

Despite Logan saying "I know parenting 'bout as much as Charles knows about track racin' " it's an unspoken rule that every problem or issue linked to the kids is linked to him. Scott will always give him a hard time,- at this point, it's all they know and all they can. Logan is impulsive and rash and curt, too untamed, too aggressive and too little of what Scott respects for them to bond properly, but he will never criticize Logan on how he is around kids, nor will he let anyone else to.

Nightmare or night terror or a school affair, superhero insecurity, being alienated for their x gene or general bigotry, - They can all help with those, but the kids ( Storm deliberately calls them Logan's kids and no one is looking to contradict her) actively seek him out, not because they trust them less, but because they trust Logan the most as he just? Knows what their specific needs are, understands that it's both an isolated and individual incident, tip toeing across the line of mutant and human. He just Knows.

Logan of course freaks out about having been seen as a father figure-- The man should barely be seen as a person figure, let alone a pillar of discipline, protection, security and guidance. Storm and Charles don't really know how to break it to him that when he drives the kids to the mall, movies, park, buys them stuff and makes them eat and take breaks and just generally not die,, it's a bit top late to say he doesn't want to be a dad JSJSJSM

Clyde Logan / Fair Headcanons

Clyde’s always been real good at the fair games. He’s learned early on just how everything’s rigged; knows that if one of the milk jugs is off kilter even just a fraction then it’ll absorb the blow from the softball that’s bein’ thrown. He knocks ‘em down every time, though, winnin’ you that big ol’ stuffed bunny you’ve been eyein’ up all night.

He swears up and down that he’s not much for ridin’ the carnival rides, but the second that Jimmy shows up, talkin’ all that mess about how he can really mess Clyde up at bumper cars, you know it’s game on. It’s the one and only time that Clyde’s eager to leave your side in favor of racin’ Jimmy to the bumper car arena. But Mellie’s there with you, ‘n’ he wouldn’t dare leave you alone otherwise.

It wouldn’t be the fair without food, and Clyde’s always got a hankerin’ for the cinnamon sugar cider donuts at the Ben Ellen donut tent. He doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but he’d easily down a baker’s dozen if he’s feelin’ so inclined (which he normally is).

If there’s one place within the fair grounds that you have to physically pull Clyde away from, it’s the Car Show. He’s never fancied himself much of a tinkerer with cars ‘n’ such, but he reckons he can still appreciate a good ol’ classic when he sees one, and boy, does the fair serve ‘em up by the hundreds.

Nighttime at the fair always holds a special place in Clyde’s heart. In keepin’ with tradition, the two of you ride the ferris wheel, taking in the sights and the sounds of the fair below. It’s there on that very ferris wheel where Clyde first admitted his feelings to you; told you how gorgeous you were in the glowing lights ‘n’ how much he just absolutely loved you. Knew it the moment he first laid eyes on you, though he’d been afraid to admit it out loud until that very moment. He still tells you every time you find yourselves on that ferris wheel, and every time still feels like the first.

My father, his Knights and fellow royals had to use their combined powers to send us here to be reborn and find each other again.  The problem was none of us had any memory of our pasts until our respective guardians found us and reunited us.  But that is another story for another time.  Anyway, when we were all reborn here, I was born Jamison Logan McKagan the eldest daughter of Robert and Veronica McKagan also known as Thor and Kyiandra Thunderis of Thunderia.  But you already know that, if you know my story.  Anyway, I am getting outrageously off track.  But when this all started, I had no doubt how it would end because of Karyson and our past together.  But boy was I wrong.  I had never felt so betrayed in my life.  How I came into this as Reimeiko Thunderis instead of who I am in the human form?  Well I will tell you.  It all starts here at the Coronation Ball.  On this night, not only will Garyson be taking his place as king, but he will also be choosing his future bride.  At the doors of the grand ballroom stood Jamison Logan McKagan Llewellyn also known as Reimeiko Christyne Amaryllis Thunderis Wolfe of Thunderia and Thaddea.  The Lady Knight of Thunder was getting ready to make a grand entrance.  Tonight was the night for her.  As she entered the ballroom, the herald announced her.

        "Lady Reimeiko Christyne Thunderis." the herald announced. She walked further into the ballroom spotting her friends and Knights from back home as well as some of the friends she had made along the way or so she thought.  Her brother and sister in their Knight forms showed up close to her speaking telepathically.

     (I know that the connection between Karyson and Reimeiko is solid.) Knight Shadow said. (But you might want to take the connection between Jamison McKagan and Tristan Llewellyn into consideration.)

      (Tristan is Karyson’s human form though, remember brother?) Knight Nova replied. (They were separated into their own individual personas somehow and we must figure out how to reunite them, but now is not the time.  The Knights are all stationed throughout the palace grounds, fully powered but dressed for this ball.)

      (Do you not think that you are overdoing it just a bit?) She asked. (How are all the background checks into the key players going?  One cannot know how to play the game without a scorecard and details on everyone involved especially who gains and loses the most.  There are a lot of secrets here and I want to know all of it.  Not just the key players but the background players too.  Leave no stone unturned, leave no passage unexplored.  We had orders to do that before we left.)

(Our wisdom knights are taking care of that and have been since before Dad debriefed us.) Shadow replied. (Anyway, we will keep in close contact with you as the night progresses)

Shadow and Nova made their way into the crowd to check in with the other Knights as Jamison glided over to talk to two other suitors in the competition.  For some reason, she suddenly felt uneasy, why, she did not know.  Granted, she had seen and dealt with her share of evil tyrants, love rivals, band rivals, and threatened hostile takeovers, but she and her Knights had always made it through almost unscathed.

    “Reimeiko, you look so beautiful.” Elenia Zhang gushed. “The prince will not be able to take his eyes off of you all night in that gown.” Jamison drifted back and forth between the first debriefing and present day.

    “First off we have Elenia Zhang.” Marco said. “There is not much known about her and her family except that they are Thaddean nobles who live outside the typical line.  In addition to being a Thaddean noble, Elenia is multi-talented which will be one of her strengths and make her a good ally as well.  Knowing you Jamie, you would have her and everyone else won over in no time.”

    “Hah, he might like the way she looks,” Lamani Evander sneered. “But when it comes to choosing his future queen, he knows who will be able to rule by his side and that woman will be me and me alone.” Back to the debriefing.

   Lamani Evander, she was so evil that she made Dariana Lanoson look and act like an angel, but even though she could scare or intimidate others, she did not scare or intimidate Jamison or Reimeiko.  Long before, Jamison had faced off with the Federation of Evil’s many different factors, love rivals, rival bands, threatened hostile take-overs and she knew how to fight dirty if she had to.  In her royal form of Reimeiko Thunderis, she fought like a man although she was a woman.  Along with her siblings and fellow Knights, she trained from the time she was young to be able to take down and fight the forces of evil who continued relentlessly to take them down and take over the universe.  Reimeiko and Jamison were rejoined or reunited when Jamison was fifteen and was discovered being Princess Reimeiko Thunderis while in her hero form of Knight Thunder and her boyfriend Tristan Llewellyn in his hero form of Knight Wolf was discovered as being Prince Karyson Wolfe of Thaddea which was who Jamison and the others were vying for.  She knew something about Karyson, his true siblings Corydon and Racine, and Samuel and Francine that the other people present did not know.  Samuel, Francine, and the Thaddean Trio were immortal like Reimeiko, her siblings, and Knights; and no matter what the other ladies of court thought, Karyson was Reimeiko’s eternal soulmate.

“Well I can say this without any conviction.” Jamison said. “It will be his choice who rules by his side not yours, and may the best woman win.” To herself she said. “I know it will be me because I have been to the future, I am the Queen in it and none of you are there.”

“I am sure that I will win because I have known him all his life.” Lamani replied.

Jamison rolled her eyes and shook her head as Lamani walked away.  The only other woman in the running so-to-speak was a woman by the name of Almeda Fitzgerald who was being sponsored by the present queen Alyssa Candelaria.  No one had really seen her through the competition because she had been staying close to the queen.  Just then a trumpet sounded, and a herald announced the arrival of Karyson Tristan Michael Llewellyn Wolfe Prince of Thaddea and he was heading right in the direction of Jamison and Elenia.  He took her hand and bowed. “Princess Reimeiko, may I have the pleasure of the next dance with you?” Prince Karyson asked.

“You want to dance with me?” Jamison asked. “I am ready to do much more than just dance with you, but I would love to.”

“I was hoping you would say that.” Karyson replied. He took her hand and whisked her away to the dance floor of the grand ballroom.  As the orchestra plays, he leads her into a waltz around the room her gown swirling as they glide through the steps.

“To think a few months ago as Jamison McKagan,” Jamison acknowledged. “I did not even know the first steps to the waltz.”

“And now no one would ever know that your human form was not born into this life.” Karyson replied. “I hope you never have cause to regret coming here.”

“What do you mean?  Why would you say that?” Jamison asked. “You and Tristan will be reunited before this crazy adventure is over, then so will we be.”

“So much has happened.” he said pausing as the song winds, his hands lingering on her waist and his eyes searched hers which were filled with uncertainty, fear, and confusion. “I need to speak with you.”

“Is something wrong?” Jamison asked, fearful of what the answer would be.  Despite the soulmate connection between them, she knew that something was not right.

“There is nothing really wrong per se.” he replied. “It has been nearly impossible to even get a moment alone with you these last few days, but I need to know--”

“Prince Garyson, may I be so bold as to cut in?” Duchess Lamani Evander asked.

“Oh yes of course.” Karyson replied. “Do not worry, Reimeiko, we will talk later.”

[Yeah right] Jamison thought sourly.  As Lamani and Karyson glided away, Jamison found herself wandering off the dance floor and running into a familiar face in the crowd. “Derrick? I did not know that you would be here tonight.  You look so handsome in your formal uniform instead of your usual mix of clothes.”

“Karyson insisted.” Derrick replied. “I guess I should congratulate you.  You look exactly like one of them.  I guess you are one of them now in these days.”

“Please do not lump me in with those two-faced, hypocritical, narcissistic fleet of bozos and bimbos.” Jamison pleaded. “Real people like you are more fun to be around.  You and I are cut from the same cloth.  We do not fit into their world of snobby losers and I thank God that we do not.”

“This time tomorrow, you might be queen and then our lives are going to go in very different directions.” he said.

“If I am chosen to be his bride, but I have a sick feeling that I will not be,” Jamison said. “I will still be me.  Titles do not make me who I am or who I will be.  Nothing will take me over.”

“Looking at you right now, it is hard to believe that.” Derrick said with a sad look. “This place has a tendency of changing people, and some of us like the woman you used to be.  You know, that right?”

“I promise, I am the same person I was from the beginning, even under this fancy, hard to breathe in a ball gown.” Jamison replied. “Despite everything that has happened, I have not changed.  I am the same Reimeiko Christyne Amaryllis Thunderis, Jamison Logan McKagan Llewellyn.  If there is ever a time you feel that I get too cocky, just remind me of the first time we met, I was taking out the garbage to the big dumpster outside and waiting tables at Russo’s bar and grill.”

“It does feel like it was so long ago.” Derrick acknowledged. “I cannot believe that it has only been a few months since this all began, and it feels more like once upon a time now more than ever after everything.”

Big Oil's day of reckoning on the climate is here What’s happening: On Wednesday, ExxonMobil (XOM) will face off against an activist investor looking to overhaul its strategy on sustainability. Meanwhile, a Dutch court is due to rule on a landmark case against Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA) as activists try to compel the company to move faster to cut emissions. That could make for a pivotal day for the oil industry. “We’ve finally reached the point where climate inaction can cost a board member their job,” Andrew Logan, senior director of oil and gas at Ceres, a sustainability nonprofit, recently tweeted. Engine No. 1 holds just 0.02% of Exxon’s shares, but it poses a credible challenge to the company, which was once the most valuable in the world. Upset with Exxon’s financial performance and its foot-dragging on the climate, the hedge fund is seeking to oust four directors at the firm’s annual meeting. If successful, the campaign could pressure Exxon to dramatically shift its strategy by diversifying into renewable energy and pulling back on oil production. Reading the tea leaves: There’s a real chance of victory. The powerful Institutional Shareholder Services has advised stockholders to vote in favor of three of Engine No. 1’s candidates. Citing Exxon’s “questionable strategy” for the future and “diminishing returns,” Glass Lewis, another top advisory firm, urged shareholders to back two of the four candidates. “We believe Engine No. 1 has presented a compelling case that, without a more concerted response and well-developed strategy … related to the global energy transition, Exxon’s returns, cash flow and dividend, and thus its shareholder value, are increasingly at threat,” Glass Lewis wrote in its report. Reuters reports that asset manager BlackRock (BLK), which is Exxon’s third largest shareholder, is voting to support three of the four candidates. Shell has gone much further on climate than Exxon, announcing that it aims to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 — a target that includes emissions from its own operations and from the energy products it sells. But a win for Friends of the Earth Netherlands, the environmental campaign group suing Shell, could push even greater changes. This is the first time that a court will rule on whether a company needs to reduce its emissions in line with global climate goals, according to the group. While Shell claims that its carbon intensity targets are aligned with the Paris Agreement, which aims to limit global temperature increases to 1.5 degrees Celsius, Friends of the Earth Netherlands argues that the company’s ongoing investments into oil and gas extraction show it doesn’t take climate change seriously. The verdict will only be legally binding in the Netherlands. But it could open the door for similar cases in other countries. Watch this space: The courts are becoming a popular venue for fights on climate. According to a database from Columbia Law School and Arnold & Porter, there are currently more than 1,800 cases working their way through global legal venues. Big picture: The action comes just a week after the influential International Energy Agency told oil companies they need to stop drilling for oil and gas right now to prevent a climate catastrophe. “This is a really big deal,” Tracey Cameron, senior manager of corporate climate engagement at Ceres, said in a statement. “The IEA is what governments and companies all look to when they’re developing their strategies, so to say that new investment in oil and gas needs to stop really turns the page for this industry.” Taken together, these moves are a stark sign of how quickly public attitudes are changing — and could generate concrete results. The antitrust lawsuits have come for Amazon First, states filed antitrust lawsuits against Google (GOOGL) and Facebook (FB). Now, attorneys general are turning their attention to Amazon (AMZN). The latest: The District of Columbia sued Amazon on Tuesday, alleging the tech giant has abused its market dominance in e-commerce to harm competition and keep retail prices artificially high across the internet. DC Attorney General Karl Racine’s suit zeroes in on the tech company’s relationships with third-party sellers, alleging that Amazon’s contracts prohibit them from offering their products at a lower price on other websites. That means that the fees Amazon demands from its sellers are also baked into the prices shoppers see on Walmart’s website, for example, Racine told reporters on a conference call. In some cases, Racine said, Amazon sellers are charged fees amounting to 40% of the total product price on Amazon. “These restrictions allow Amazon to build and maintain monopoly power in violation of District law,” Racine said. The suit calls for a court order prohibiting Amazon from engaging in anticompetitive behavior and any other necessary measures — including a corporate breakup, if deemed necessary. In a statement, an Amazon spokesperson said Racine “has it exactly backwards.” “Sellers set their own prices for the products they offer in our store,” the statement said. “Amazon takes pride in the fact that we offer low prices across the broadest selection, and like any store we reserve the right not to highlight offers to customers that are not priced competitively.” Big picture: Court cases against Big Tech companies could weigh on the sector, even if they’re expected to drag on for years. In the meantime, their clout is only growing. Amazon, whose stock is holding steady, is reportedly in talks to buy MGM, the vaunted film studio that was a staple of Hollywood’s Golden Age. A tie-up would give the tech firm a big brand to wield as competition in streaming grows fiercer. The CEO of the biggest bank to fail is worried again The banking world nearly caved in 13 years ago. The former CEO of Washington Mutual is worried that another bubble is brewing, my CNN Business colleague Paul R. La Monica reports. Kerry Killinger was named CEO of WaMu in 1990 and was fired in September 2008 — just weeks before the bank collapsed as a growing number of mortgage loans went bad. With more than $300 billion in assets, it still ranks as the biggest-ever bank failure. Killinger thinks JPMorgan Chase and other “too big to fail banks” are in much better shape now thanks to post-crisis reforms like Dodd-Frank. “The health of the industry is great, earnings are good and oversight is strong. I’m not too concerned there,” he said. But Killinger is nervous about the fact that rock-bottom interest rates and big bond purchases by the Federal Reserve have sparked a broader mania in other assets, including cryptocurrencies and meme stocks. “The bubbles today are broader and deeper in a variety of categories, not just housing,” Killinger said. “The Fed’s policy of low rates and massive asset purchases worked well to get out of the downturn, but when you keep extending it you can cause unintended consequences.” Up next Abercrombie & Fitch (ANF) and Dick’s Sporting Goods (DKS) report results before US markets open.
