this is a callout post to all you lovely artists out there

STOP SAYING YOUR ART IS BAD!!!!

i stalk fandom tags all day and im constantly collecting little treasures of art of all shapes (no pun intended) and my little magpie heart is so sad when i see you apologizing for "bad quality"

i know you have the potential to do wonderful things, and you dont want people to judge you based off a doodle, but trust me, we're just happy to see art of our favorite characters

Posting my favorite snippets of art from Crowley’s Coven.

It’s easy as an artist to go back and knit pick all the “mistakes” we make and feel that wonderful imposter syndrome slide on in. So easy, in fact, that’s all some of us do.

Thus it is very important to celebrate what you’re happy about too, while also acknowledging what you could’ve done better next time.

I’m very pleased with how the characters are entwined, giving them visual heft. I want Crowley to look like he’s being HELD. I want Aziraphale to feel put upon by these witches and then him obsessively touching his Crowley when the hot chocolate hits!

And the witches are so insane and gorgeous with their grabby hands and instant nudity whenever the whims…whims them?

Anyway!

Celebrate your art! Celebrate everything you create and be proud. It’s one of the most human things we can do.

LISTEN I LOVE BELL I can't help it, he's so cool, haven't read all his lore cause I'm horribly lazy but like!!! what I've read so far is ultra cool!! and I love the whole parasitic thing he has and the stages, it's just very cool and I like him a lot

I kinda got caught up, I wanted to lean in to something more similar to your style cause it wouldn't really feel like Bell otherwise? also I'm kind of a control freak when it comes to art and when I look at your art it looks so loose and like- It looks spontaneous, so I kinda just did what I wanted and didn't bother making it perfect (which... might not have been the best to do for a request but uh... I had fun? ;^^)

I filled in a Mewtwo base by PokemonAshAus!

I found the base a while back and wanted to use it. For this one, I thought I'd use the base to at least somewhat visualize a Mewtwo Penny. (Because my crossover-y brainrotted mind could only think up a crossover to use a base like this.) I also included a Babytwo version because why not. I am thinking of using it for more concepts that I am too lazy to draw that involves Mewtwos!

The lines I added are a little wonky because I tried to mimic the line style of the original to maintain consistency but wasn't able to properly do so.

I hope this is okay!

Now that the final days of the expansions are near, I treated myself and commissioned the lovely @sbeep to draw my Paladin. He had a great time overall in Shadowlands and I LOVED that sweet, sweet Venthyr aesthetic for him.
