Random Lupin x Cardia Headcanons

Lupin's love language is probably a mix of Words of Affirmation/Physical Touch.

Lupin is a boob man. He tries to act like a gentleman all the time, but once he gets more intimate with Cardia, his hands run up there.

His favorite nickname for Cardia is "my treasure"

He loves teasing her with "surprise attacks", like a kiss on the shoulders/neck, just to see her face turns red.

But Cardia is a quick learner and when she does the same Lupin's face turns bright red.

I usually don't have headcanon about my ships having children, but I believe Cardia would like to have one in the future, after watching other couples over there. Then, they would discover that Cardia, as an artificial form of life, is infertile, but before she fell into some depression shit about not being "a real human", Lupin would suggest adoption. After all, he is an orphan and knows how important a parental figure was to him back then. So they would adopt a little boy and live happily forever.

Spoilers for Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth:

Finished Lupin’s route and loved it. I’ll post an overall game experience later so just comments about Lupin’s route for now. First of all, I could tell this was ”the true ending” because all the other character’s stories were wrapped up and their relationship building from start to finish was extremely natural.

I loved Lupin as a character and he remains one of my favourites, but I think wrapping up the main plot took away from the romance. Despite that, there was plenty of fluff. I like him with Cardia, I think they make a cute couple. The wedding was lovely and I enjoyed his extra chapter (dude is hot). I’ve heard Future Blessings and Wintertide Miracles will give more romance with this pair and I’ll definitely buy those.

Many things made me laugh during this route. Especially Van Helsing threatening to shoot everyone during the wedding if the guests won’t shut up. Leonhardt crying at the wedding was also hilarious. Lupin cracking jokes about blowing up his father-in-law made me laugh so much my husband asked me if I was okay. Things that made me emotional were Saint protecting Cardia, Lupin kissing Cardia in the air and Cardia’s self doubt during the whole route.

Overall a very pleasant experience and I look forward to writing a more collective post about the game. I took over 4000 screenshots during playing so I will probably post the best scenes (in my opinion) at some point too.

I finally started Code Realize. It's good so far. I can't wait to learn more about the story!

I already love Cardia.😁 I started with Impey. He's so funny.😆

His story was interesting and like a RPG.😁 But I'm a bit disappointed by the ending. Cardia still has her big problem. How can it end like this?!😧 (I wonder if the other stories will end like this one.)

Abraham Van Helsing’s route is done. I love him too!🥰 His story was so sad.🥺 And because of Cardia’s poison, he can’t even kiss her at the end.😞

I really love his extra scene!🫣 Omg I want to jump into bed with him!🤤😏

Victor’s route is now done! His story was really great & his ending is the best so far.😁 Victor is cute & sweet with Cardia.

I just finished Saint-Germain’s route. I really didn't like the first chapters of his story. I had a hard time playing them.😖 Fortunately, the last chapters were good.😌 I even cried a bit for him.

A lot has happened recently irl, but now things are calmer. I can play video games again and I just finished Lupin’s story. I love him as much as Impey!!!❤️

His story was amazing. The best in this game.👌 Finally the real ending!😁 Lupin x Cardia is the best ship in Code Realize. They are so cute together.🥰

I hope you don't mind me asking you this but have you ever thought of playing otome games from switch? games like Amnesia, Piofiore, Olympia Soiree, Café Enchante, Cupid Parasite, Birushana, etc. ?? they have beautiful and thoughtful MCs!

Thought? I WANT to play these games but too bad I don't own switch. But yeah, I can play it on a PC using an emulator. I downloaded Piofiore and played like 1 chapter of the prologue and didn't continue because I didn't have time(not that it was boring, it was very interesting). I've played the mobile version of Amnesia (only the prologue because you have to pay for playing the routes) and I've seen the anime (was quite boring!).

Cafe Enchante and Birushana are on my MUST PLAY LIST, but I haven't officially played them myself because...again, I have no time. But let me tell you, I sometimes watch playthroughs of these games on youtube. There is a youtube called dirili , who narrates the stories. I may not sit through the whole route but I listen to certain chapters of each game in the background when I'm doing something else. If you can count that as playing a game, then I've played:

Code realize - Lupin's route.

Collar x Malice - Little bit of Enamoto and Sasazuka

Period cube - Zain

Birushana - Tomomori (this asshole!), Noritsune (only that one scene where Tomomori and Shigehira dress Shana as a girl! I played that on loop!)

Reine des fleurs (one of the most visually pretty otome games I've ever seen! and there is also a blonde hair blue eyes guy!)

Then some very mediocre other games on mobile (these are those when I first started getting into otome games)

And yeah, I do think the MCs in these games are extremely beautiful. Even if some of them have long brown hair, at least they have a unique-looking hairstyle (for example Ichika from Collar x Malice) they wear beautiful-looking dresses (for example Cardia from Code realize and Shana from Birushana). They all still look very beautiful and actually looks like a main character of a game.

So...still playing Code Realize...I know,I know...I’m slow,I’m sorry...but anyway...I may have jumped the gun when I said I shipped Cardia x Lupin. Since I’m actually playing the game now,I’ll wait till I actually finish it to determine my ship. That said,I still ship Tokiya x Haruka (UtaPri) because of the anime,and even if the otome games are localized and I get to play them,I will still ship it. But I’m fine with Haruka with any of the boys.

Headcanon: Cardia experiencing sexual arousal

I think because touching things is something new to Cardia, she is, probably, hypersensitive to being touched and doesn't understand the reactions of her body when her lover, for example, kisses her passionately.

I mean, until now, she didn't have the opportunity to learn basic things about her own body. She's flustered about feeling suddenly hot and... wet? She will ask about it.

(I imagined this situation clearly with Victor, Sainty-G and Lupin so this is what I have to offer today)

Victor

It felt natural for Cardia to just go and ask Victor since he isn't only her lover, but a doctor as well. He was writing some reports for the Royal Society when she walked into the room and started talking about feeling her body differently.

Victor stopped his writing, ready to reassure her that the Horologium was under control and that whatever she was feeling was just inside her head because of her fear, but then she told him that nothing was wrong with the jewel embedded in her chest, but between her legs.

"I-I beg your pardon?" he startled, the glasses falling off his face.

Cardia tried to be more specific, for a better diagnosis, and the more she described, the more Victor felt he could die right there. It was an honor to know that he made Cardia feel sexual desire but to put this conclusion into words...

"... So, do you know what's my problem?" she looked so hopeful that he felt idiot for considering a way to dodge the question. It was just part of Cardia's dream of living like a normal girl.

He took a deep breath before acting 100% professionally and info-dumping her about sexual arousal. Cardia listened carefully and by the end of the explanation her face was kinda red, but she was curious about the next steps after those strange symptoms.

Saint-Germain

Actually, since their very first making out session, Saint-Germain found out about Cardia's sensitiveness, and from that day, he's been purposefully doing things like letting his hands run freely on Cardia's back to turn her on and, God, he was secretly having fun with it, watching her reactions and small whimpers, wondering how long she would be quiet before asking anything.

When she finally approached the topic with a timid "I've been feeling strange these days...", Saint was happy inside, but only said "Oya, what could it be, miss Cardia?" with a very innocent tone.

But that tone doesn't work with Cardia anymore, no after all they'd been through together. She stopped her worrying and cupped his face with both hands, looking into those closed eyes with a pout. "Do you know what's wrong with me?"

He couldn't hold anymore and just put his right hand over her left hand before revealing his emerald eyes with a muffled laugh. For Cardia, seeing those eyes felt like she had taken the bait.

"Maybe it's time for some lecture, miss Cardia?"

Lupin

Since their first kiss, Lupin always said to Cardia things like "I want to love every inch of your body" but he was pretty sure she didn't fully understand what he meant by that, she probably believed it was just about kissing and cuddling.

And nothing wrong with that, really! But Cardia is a quick learner, so her kissing skills were improving fast and driving him crazy. He was willing to approach that topic but didn't know how.

But then, when she unexpectantly talked about her "strange symptoms", he didn't know how to respond besides turning red. It seemed, by her description, that she wanted the same as him, but like the lady she was, she didn't know it yet. While asking, she looked so innocent...

So, he hide his embarrassment under the mask of the Gentleman Thief and told her that everything she's been talking about was perfectly normal, proof that she was alive and nothing to be ashamed of. And, if she wanted, he was right there to help her to discover and understand other new sensations. He would do his best to make her happy, after all.

"But only with your permission, mademoiselle. Do you trust me?"

Spoilers for Code: Realize - Guardian of Rebirth and Future Blessings:

Having now finished the whole game and all the possible endings and extras, I wanted to write about the experience as a whole. My thoughts on the routes were a but more rushed so I plan on taking my time with this post.

All in all I am extremely happy with this game. I understand why it’s often recommended as a first otome game to play (alongside Piofiore, Collar x Malice etc), and it was the first otome game for me as well. Graphics were beautiful and I enjoyed the overall flow of the game pretty well. I didn’t want to miss anything so I played everything from the beginning with all the guys. The common route being quite long got a little tedious by the end of the game, but I found it went quite quickly if I put the auto skip on until there were parts I hadn’t played before. The only times I didn’t use the skip function were the first run (obviously) and the last because I wanted to enjoy the full experience during Lupin’s route. Path of Genesis came in handy after I decided to replay couple of the routes after finishing the game.

The extras were quite funny and enjoyable. I thought all of them added something to the characters and revealed new sides of them. I don’t think I will ever recover from Van’s hotness or Saint playing dumb while making Cardia help him get dressed (bless her poor innocent soul). The event gallery is very handy too. I like that you can play the scenes or just look at the pretty pictures. I’m currently playing Future Blessings and I’m similarly excited about Holmes’ route (or Sholmes, whichever) and Delly’s room.

When it comes to characters, nothing went as I thought it would. My prediction was I would love Lupin and Fran the most. Wroooooong. In the common route I found Lupin very distant until I played his scenes on it. He is still sort of a favourite but a lot of that has to do with the anime. I ended up watching that from Crunchyroll and oh boy, I loved Lupin x Cardia in that. Now the anime and the game have fused in my head and I do like Lupin’s route. I wished it was longer though, because a lot of his route is taken by the non-romantic aspects of the plot. I still cried when they fell off Nautilus though.

Saint was a surprise entirely. During common route he was downright boring. Obviously during his own route it became incredibly clear why he was so distant. I love his eyes, expressions and voice acting. The angst was immense and there are so many possibilities for their life together post-game. Before I got to Saint’s route I was not looking forward to it at all. That’s why his route felt like being slapped in the face by a ton of emotions. I sobbed so much while playing that I was a mess by the time his route ended. Saint had a ton of character growth and he is one of my favourites, absolutely.

I had Fran marked as a likely favourite before I played. I love sweet and intelligent guys and was really looking forward to it. My thoughts have changed slightly from my initial opinion after playing his route. I ended up playing his route twice, once during the recommended order and once after finishing the whole game once. After first play through, I thought his route was sweet but lacked the angst level I had realised I loved. I also thought there was too much of ‘I’ll save you’. After second play through I will have to acknowledge my thoughts have changed. His route is still sugary sweet and there is a lot of saving involved, BUT there was more angst simmering underneath the surface than I had initially thought. All in all, I took a while for his route to grow on me but after that it was great.

Now Van was another surprise. He is so emotionally constipated, it was hard for me to imagine where the story would go. His route is absolutely brilliant. The angst is all there and Ripper is one of my favourite side characters of any games. His route has the most sexual tension out of all the routes (in my opinion). That notion is also amplified by the extra chapter. Cardia was fierce during this route. She is otherwise as well but it was the most visible to me during this one. Van has a lot of character growth, like Saint, and I feel like he could make Cardia very happy. On the flip-side there is so much potential for trauma bonding, considering Cardia and Van are both traumatised. I replayed Van’s route as well and loved it as much the second time, if not more.

Impey was my least favourite (sorry, Impey lovers). The reasons actually have very little do with him and more to do with me. He is cheery, cute and funny. But he flirts a lot and is so over the top with it, I find it hard to take it seriously. I was happy to find out more about Nemo, but that character annoyed me with how he spoke. Impey being a vampire was a surprise. Impey’s route had some loving moments and I think he is a lovely guy but sadly, he is not for me.

Then some random thoughts in the end. I’m excited for more scenes with Delly in Future Blessings. He is such a sweet boy who deserves all the love. Sisi is a little cutie too. Everytime he is on the screen, I swoon. I have started playing Future Blessings now too. I won’t get into that too much, but I have been thinking about doing an AU ending fanfic for Victor’s route in that. Additionally, I’ll be posting a load of screenshots I’ve taken once I go through them all. I might do some thoughts posts about Future Blessings as well.
