Mizu & Fowler: a theory

IT'S A THEORY I'M REALLY PROUD OF and honestly I've already accepted it as canon. The last episode, the moment of Mizu's confrontation with Fowler:

When Fowler is squeezing the hell out of Mizu, he says "your bones break like a woman's" and has that "gasp" moment of realisation. And I think the reason for what he says next isn't that he wants to offend Mizu or he's just being misogynistic. Instead, it's because he realises that the person he's holding isn't just a random girl but someone very specific; a girl he knows very well from his past. When he calls Mizu "Little Miss", it's not to say "lmao you're a little girl". This nickname must have been used for Mizu in the past; a diminutive form of some name or another term of endearment. In the official Netflix subtitles "Miss" is also written with a capital letter.

And, then, just think about Japanese pronunciation: Miss would be pronounced "Misu", which could easily evolve to "Mizu".

Thus, Mizu "keeps getting better" because, in that moment, it stopped being about "just a man" or a random angry bastard kid. It's something much bigger and only Abijah knows that.

I’d like to think Anakin Skywalker is like, mostly humble abt his position. Mostly.

And I feel like the only exception to that is: Commander Cody.

Bc I think Anakin is 100% aware of his reputation, good and bad, so when people sort of look at him in awe and point at him on the street he’s kind and humble and tries to not let it get to his head.

Anakin doesn’t brag too often but with Cody he has a “don’t you know who I am” moment at least twice within an hour.

"It's funnier in Enochian!"

One thing I wish the writers continued on SPN is the "Enochian jokes".

I mean, one of my headcanons (well, not so much of a hc but we don't see it in later seasons) is that Cas keeps trying to be funny translating jokes from Enochian to English (just like the famous "You breed with the mouth of a goat") and people generally be like "WTF???" but then one day Sam actually gets one of those damn jokes (after so many years something just clicks) and the whole bunker is like "OMG this really really happened", like that would be THE signal that Cas is officially part of the family lol

I dunno, I find that laughter brings people together like nothing else can and I also understand the struggle of trying to be funny in another language (like, some stuff is just funnier in my native tongue and it's frustrating that it doesn't translate, you know?).

Anyway, I find it silly and cute and I wish we had more of these silly little moments <3

yeah i’m excited for the plot of acotar 6 and elriel being endgame but yk what really makes me excited? a potential bathing scene which absolutely could happen - because azriel often described himself as being unclean or being too scarred or monstrous to touch elain

imagine a scene where he comes back to the town house covered in blood, believing it to be empty, and he walks into the shower and turns it on and gets in. elain, who lives in the townhouse now, quietly follows him in & gets in with him. she begins to scrub his body wiping the blood off and starts to wash his hair.

azriel tips his head down for easy access for her but when he does so, elain sees tears rolling down his face. so she brings his head down to her chest and lowers both of them to the shower floor and just holds him and let’s him cry it out, gently combing her fingers through his hair and whispering how much she loves him in his ear. calls him beautiful over and over.

she never balks from his darkness. she accepts it with open arms. this is a scene that would show this fully i think

in my mind, James and Sirius are both pretty tall, right? Like both a little over six feet tall. And then Euphemia is like five foot three in her heels

so whenever she wants to fix James’ hair or kiss their cheeks, they have to crouch down so she can reach them. And they pretend to do so begrudgingly, they tell her to stop messing with their hair, and ‘that’s enough kisses mum!’ but like

they’re crouched down. They’re knees are obviously bent. If they just stood up she wouldn’t be able to do it.

Sky Clan Chaplain, Gerrah.

My HC is, that Gerrah was one of the few people Kotallo could bear to have around, and confide in, after his parents were killed. She quickly grew to be a sort of grandmother to him, with long, warm, and consoling embraces when Kotallo was a child, which later changed to deep talks at the campfire as a young soldier, and later yet, turning into a mutually respectful and ever-supporting relationship when he became a celebrated warrior and Marshal.

One of my personal canon about Natty is that you can give her all the wands in the world, she will always stick to wandless magic. She will hold up to her traditions even in a foreign land. And also teach her children, because you know, wandless magic is just too cool ;)

She will try to make them Animagi as well, but her partner may not agree XD

And she will cherish her inscribed stone, like all the kids cherish their letter from Hogwarts.
