新金型ではありませんが、200km/h対応のMD台車と気密構造、コルゲート屋根の2等開放室客車です。個人的にこのBpmz 29X 系列は大好きなんです。種車は43765のIC客車(同形式)だと思われます。2両入ってます。

まだちゃんとMünchen-Nürnberg Expressのロゴを載せてませんでしたね。これです
スカート部の排気メッシュのモールドが繊細かつくっきり輪郭でお気に入り。スイッチやレバー類のモールドの色塗りは、ますます磨きがかかったように思います。数年前から比べて随分上手くなったなーと…

伝統の(?)MD523台車。ドアの窓下左側の点は汚れじゃなくてちゃんと印刷です。細かすぎるぞ…
白はちょっと梨地気味で、インクジェットプリンタと思われます。最近のメルクリンはどうもこれに頼りがちですが、どうにかならんかな…?

1等/2等客車です。実車は4両だけが存在したMüNüExp専用車両です。両端の黄色線の入ったコンパートメントが1等、他は2等です。2等のコンパートメントは、子供連れ向けのファミリーコンパートメントかな?

プラグドアの構造がBpmz 295.4と違います。ドア窓も大きめ。

車端妻面より。電源のケーブルがそれっぽくモールドされているのが魅力。端部も塗り分けはっきりで好印象。メルクリン的には、モデルの元は43680のIC客車(Bvmz 185.5)で間違い無いでしょう。メルクリン公式曰く、「インテリアは新金型」だそうです。
●その他:新型導電カプラーのおはなし
カプラーが、ウワサの薄型導電カプラーでした。50個入りの単品はまだ販売されていないとのことで、私自身、初めてみました。

HRSで試走時に、我が家のBR 101(従来カプラー装備)を持ち込んだんですが、坂やカーブの途中で頻繁に外れるので、新旧カプラーでどうも相性問題がありそうだと感じました。ただ、我が家でも色々実験したのですが、この不具合事象を未だ再現できていません(=問題なく走りました)。たまたまそのカプラがよくなかった可能性も否定できず、今のところは「どうも怪しいな?」くらいしかいえないです。もうちょっと検証したいところです。
なお、新型カプラ同士では何の問題もありませんでした。

総評
今までなぜ発売がなかったんだろう?というくらいの列車ですが、実車を調べてみるとそれなりに新金型での製作が必要だったことがわかりました。最近の標準的な出来でソツなくまとめているあたりはさすがです。塗装のクオリティはどうするかな…近寄ると気になっちゃう。

Chapter 11: Under the Spotlight
The Media Days have started! Join the Bundesliga boys and girls as they prepare for the part of the season they wished they could skip!

Whoever’s documenting us, SV Darmstadt 98 thought as she reread the address on her phone, must be lazy as fuck…
Somehow, she wasn’t surprised at her vocabulary – hanging out (well, arguing) with Karlsruhe, Kaiserslautern and Braunschweig would do that to anyone…
Hmm, speaking of those three, it was unfortunate for such big clubs with rich history to not get promoted, wasn’t it? But naaaah, Darmstadt grinned mischievously. She was definitely looking forward to filling the next page of her football fairytale!
FC Ingolstadt 04 looked up at his coach slowly. “Papa?” he called, tugging the sleeve of Ralph Hasenhüttl’s shirt.
“Yes, Ingolstadt?” Papa asked. His face looked sooo bored, but Ingolstadt knew anyone would be, like really! It seemed like they’d been on this train for years! “Papa, are we there yet?” he whined, secretly hoping that asking would make the trip faster.
“Not yet, Ingolstadt,” Papa replied, messing his hair. “No, Papa, don’t do that!” he protested, swatting his large hand off his head, “I’m not a kid anymore!” He was already eleven years old, okay? He didn’t need a Papa. He wanted to live alone like RB Leipzig, to do whatever and whenever he wanted! Why did the bosses still force him to live with a “father figure”? He’s a personification, not a normal kid! Why should he go to a boring school? Why should he be watched while eating? Everyone knew he hated vegetables! Why?!
“Ingolstadt,” Papa said, touching his cheek instead, “I’m sorry, okay? You know I like your hair when it’s neatly trimmed like this.” He chuckled a little. Ingolstadt pouted. “Of course you like it, Papa, you trimmed it yourself!” the boy playfully punched his caretaker, “Why can’t I have long hair like Bochum?”
“Bochum?” Papa asked, raising an eyebrow, “His hair is awful. Especially with that hairclip.”
The little Bavarian groaned. “But- but I want my hair to touch my shoulders! It’s so cool, Papa!” He patted Papa’s shoulder for good measure, but all he got was an unconvinced glare. “Fine,” he grumbled, “at least I can grow bangs? Like Karlsruhe?”
Papa’s eyes were unfocused. Maybe he was picturing his (old, haha!) bully, with his shaggy brown hair.
“He looks like he doesn’t have a comb,” Papa finally said. Ingolstadt decided to change tactics. In a second, he was staring at his coach with dark eyes as big as saucers, causing Hasenhüttl to wince and changed the topic himself. “Anyway, are you excited for the Media Days?”
Ingolstadt’s face brightened that instant. “Of course, Papa! I can’t wait to meet the others!” He was jumping on his seat now, earning him annoyed looks from other passengers. “Especially Bayern. She’s so… so badass!”
When Ingolstadt realized what he’d just said, his hands comically flew to cover his mouth. “Sorry, Papa,” he squeaked.
Now, Ralph Hasenhüttl couldn’t bring himself to be harsh to the spoiled, irritating boy that was the physical embodiment of FC Ingolstadt, but he couldn’t the child grow up with no manners, either.
“Ingolstadt,” Hasenhüttl said, a patronizing hand on the 11-year-old’s shoulder, “what did I tell you about bad words?”
The personification sighed, head hung in shame. “I must not say them, Papa,”
“Good,” the manager nodded. Let’s all pray the first division clubs wouldn’t undo everything he’d taught his ‘son’…
Elsewhere…
 As usual, Europe-bound clubs gather on a corner of whatever meeting place they were in (in this case, studio), FC Augsburg looking out of place.
The UEL club was sandwiched between 25-time-German champions, FC Bayern München, and her chaser, VfL Wolfsburg, his lean body a stark contrast from the fanservice muscles of the two. It didn’t trouble Augsburg much, though. What troubled him was how… casually the six other clubs spoke of trebles, Spanish giants and the like, and though he was an expert at poker faces, intimidation froze him in place.
“Earth to Augsburg,” Bayern called with a hard pat on his back, “you still there?”
He blinked before meeting her gaze. “Yeah.”
“Don’t be so shy, mate,” Gladbach added, flashing the ginger a toothy grin. “It’s my first time in Champions League, too. Ish."
“But you’ve been in Europa,” Augsburg said matter-of-factly.
“Yeah, but you’ll make it!” Dortmund cheered from opposite his seat, a fist punching the air. “Sure, I’ll be your rival later on, but I’m rooting for you! You’re too good to go down…” He trailed off. Must be remembering Freiburg, Augsburg mused, feeling a pang of sympathy for the relegated club and the friend she’d left behind. Would he have to sacrifice Europe for domestic survival, like she had?
“Tch. No one’s ‘too good’ to go down,” Gladbach spat as if forcing everyone to recall his recent brushes with relegation.
“But I think you’ll do well, FCA,” Schalke piped up, a grudging note in his deep voice. “You’re more consistent than Lüdenscheid over here,” he poked his fellow Ruhr club right on his ‘BVB 09, Echte Liebe’ tattoo.
“Oh, shut up, Scheiße,” Dortmund snapped, “just because you consistently suck, doesn’t mean you can bully those who don’t.” A sneer twisted Die Schwarzgelben’s handsome face, practically begging the Royal Blues to punch it. And so, Schalke did.
“Ouch,” Gladbach snickered. That was one hell of a punch. Leverkusen hid his snicker behind his hands.
“You…” Dortmund growled, rubbing his aching nose.
With Schalke sneering back, they left the group for a more physical Revierderby.
A chuckle escaped Bayern at her enemies’ antics. “Oi, Augsburg!” she called again. The ginger beside her responded with a ‘hmm’. “How does it feel to watch the two up close?”
Wolfsburg and the Rhine boys stared hard at the younger Bavarian, trying to coax an answer out of the stoic man.
“Funny?” Augsburg answered, with a tone that made it sound like a question. Wolfsburg laughed. “You don’t sound like you mean it!”
The Fuggerstädter shrugged. “I guess I’m used to it.” He really was used to seeing clubs fight. Nürnberg and Fürth's drunken Oktoberfest brawls weren't much different from the Ruhr Valley rivals', really. He hoped he could be used to being in the company of these giants, too…
There were confident people, and then there was Hamburger SV.
Six-time German champion, playoff specialist (Fürth and Karlsruhe could stay in 2. Bundesliga forever, he didn’t care) and especially beater of “oh-so-great” Gladbach, Augsburg and Bayern was entering the studio with a swagger unseen in him before.
Unfortunately, his swag didn't impressed anyone, except if you count Hannover’s friendly ‘hi’ as an expression of awe. Even worse, Mainz and Frankfurt didn’t even try to hide their laughter (or in the case of Hoffenheim, his derisive remarks). Ugh. He should find Werder lest he died of boredom here. He opened his mouth to ask his boyfriend where the shit is, but when he saw Hertha’s suspicious glances, an imaginary light bulb appeared over his head.
“Yo, Karlsruhe’s whore!”
At her death glare, he couldn’t help but think: This photoshoot won’t be so boring after all.
“Welcome to the Bundesliga!” Eintracht Frankfurt exclaimed, snaking a hand around Darmstadt's shoulders with a less-than-friendly laugh. At the physical contact, she tensed, but took it in stride a moment later. “Thank you, Frankfurt. How are you?”
“Great,” the Eagles replied. “And you, Darmstadt?”
She looked up at him with a beam. “Never better!”
“How can you not?” Frankfurt’s hearty laugh rang in the hallway, “really, I can congratulate you all day.” There was a strangely comfortable silence as they walked inside the studio. “Anyway,” the taller man continued, “Ready for the derby?” Challenge sparkled in his red eyes, dangerous yet inviting.
“Of course,” Darmstadt accepted, her blue eyes echoing his. “And I’m gonna win them all!”
If there was one thing every club preferred their archenemy over, that thing would be a makeover.
Bayern was insisting “Hertha’s kind of makeup” didn’t suit her, demanding the poor makeup artist to 'fix her up' the way she did the male personifications.
Stuttgart had had his dark brown dye forcefully removed, leaving his hair very, very blond. “It will bring out your eyes,” the makeup artist had said, his green eyes glinting with evil.
Even Hertha almost cried when they said she had to take off her bow (a parting gift from her lover years ago) despite accepting her new, layered hairstyle.
So when 1. FC Köln came in to a horde of dissatisfied clubs, he feared for himself as he took his seat on the torture chair.
“Hi, Köln,” his makeup artist, a young woman whose build reminded him of Nuernberg. “Don’t be afraid, ‘kay?”
“Uh…” Köln said, “do I have to take this off?” He indicated at the thin hair tie holding his ponytail.
“Of course,” she smirked.
And then, the torture began.
“Afternoon, everyone!”
Seventeen Bundesliga clubs gathered in the middle of the spacious studio, prepped and pumped for the so-called ‘BL Media Days’. Or for it to be over, but that didn’t really matter. A DFL official welcomed them in their headquarters. The greetings/bullshit was followed by Darmstadt’s introduction, and of course: “But most importantly, have fun!”
The first photoshoot was standard – they’d be photographed head to waist with hands on their hips, a plain white wall their background.
To make things simpler, the officials would call the impatient personifications in alphabetical order, because of which, Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg decided to treat themselves (and the others, on the officials’ insistence) lunch.
“FC Augsburg!” came the first call, and true to his no-nonsense personality, it only took him a minute or two, even with the touch-ups.
“Bayer 04 Leverkusen!”
The Retortenclub rolled his eyes. “Later, okay” he told Bayern, who gave him a thumb up in reply. As a true PR man, Leverkusen stepped up to the stage with confidence, a charming smile set to melt fangirls and fanboys’ hearts on his face.
“Hello, cutie,” the makeup artist teased, applying a dash of bronzer on Leverkusen’s cheek. He responded accordingly – with a wink and “Hello to you too!”
Then crash! The door to the studio slammed open, causing almost everyone to jump in surprise, and came in Ralph Hasenhüttl, red-faced and panting as he helped his charge up from his face-down fall. “We… apologize for our lateness,” the coach said. Beside him, FC Ingolstadt 04 stood with a broken nose and tearful eyes. A laugh could be heard from his fellow Aufsteiger, but she disguised it as a cough before Hasenhüttl could do anything.
“No problem, Sir!” one of the officials said amicably. After a grateful nod from the manager (and a three-minute chiding to Germany’s youngest club), he left. “Use Darmstadt’s phone to call me when I’m done, okay?”
Darmstadt’s fists clenched - she couldn’t make a bad impression in front of the Bundesligists, but everyone was laughing at her! Not to mention Inge’s annoying ‘okay, Papa! See you later!’
Like she hadn’t had enough of that squirt in the second division…
Desperate to stop the laughter directed at him, the club nicknamed Die Schanzer turned to face his new ‘friends’. “Hi, guys!” he shouted, waving his hands in the air. “I’m FC Ingolstadt! And you?” He jumped to a bench where two clubs, one in green and the other blue, sat. “What’s your name?”
The guy in green stood up, and damn he was huge! Ingolstadt had to stand on his toes just to see his beard! Fortunately, he could see his arms, his legs, and woah he had so much hair… how cool! I wish I had a body like that, the little boy thought, hand almost touching his muscular calf… almost… almost…
“Wolfsburg,” the huge man answered, snatching Ingolstadt’s hand to shake it. “And this is Hoffenheim,” he gestured to the man in blue, who was black-haired, blue-eyed and sulking.
(The introductions, unnecessary as they were, continued, much to the officials’ annoyance – to make it worse, everyone was either too amused or too mesmerized by the pint-sized Bavarian’s “cuteness” to stop him.
Seven minutes and thirty-one seconds later – “THANK GOD!” one of the officials whooped – Ingolstadt had made himself known to every club but Die Werkself, who had just finished posing for the cameras.)
When Leverkusen stepped off the stage with another stranger’s (well, at least she wasn’t a Scheißbock fan) phone number, a red-haired boy – promoted Ingolstadt, Leverkusen read his club crest – approached him, confusion narrowing his dark eyes.
“What’s wrong, Ingolstadt?” he asked, letting his persona do the job.
“I’m confused, Sir,” the boy replied, scratching his head with a pudgy finger. “This thing is for… personifications only, right?”
He’s more stupid than I thought, Leverkusen made a mental groan, but outwardly, he kneeled to the Audi-backed club’s eye level, his hands on his small shoulders. “Yes, it is,” he said, his voice as soft as the gaze he sent the Bavarian, “you may be young, Ingolstadt dear… but you are one of us.”
To Leverkusen’s surprise, Ingolstadt didn’t jump up and down with renewed self-esteem, but gave him a blank stare instead. “’Us’? “You’re Bayer Leverkusen?!” the boy echoed, dumbstruck as he squinted at the cross and lions on his chest. “I thought… I thought you were a player!”
He could hear Gladbach and Köln’s too-loud whispers of ‘The guy looks like Kießling and he doesn't even admit it'.
"Fuck you," Leverkusen muttered, turning on his heel to leave the baby boy. He'd give those two assholes a lesson... but first, he needed a plastic surgery.

Mateja was from Nürnberg and had been scouted as a model in her mid-teens. Like most slim male models with androgynous faces and slender figures, her entire career had been from the very beginning sculpted by her agency as informed by the archetypes she could already be placed into, prefabricated and predestined, as laid out for her as the clothing items themselves. She had done H&M campaigns in effete floral blouses, clad in bell-bottom pants and donning Quentin-Crisp-esque scarves and broad-brimmed hats, round sunglasses, ethereal photoshoots standing in meadows, wreathed in lavender. Tresses intertwined with leaves and open shirts slipping off of pale bony shoulders, a glamorous pastoral in which a certain suspended belief in the existence of masculinity was engineered by an industry presently dominated by Andreja Pejić pre-transition. At the height of Mateja’s career, the industry had only just realized that androgyny was lucrative, apparently, because even before I had met her I knew her. Pictures of her crossed my Tumblr dashboard from time to time. She blended in with the other thousands of models being styled exactly as she was, but she was there nonetheless, a part of this bizarre vision someone was curating, the ultra-wispy waifish male model clothed in these strange Little Lord Fauntleroy outfits as if he had himself been dressed by some Victorian nanny, given dissolute-1920s-schoolboy floppy haircuts. At one point I felt like a day couldn’t pass by without me seeing someone reblog a picture of one of these models in a sheer button down that showcased his ribs and collarbones, one blue eye peeking at the camera because the other was covered by the hair flop, a boater hat perched on top of that, cultivating the kind of gossamer construct Thomas Mann might have chased through Venice in a 1913 fantasy. Spindly hands, hollow cheeks, emphasized undereye circles that reiterated the eternal toxic marriage between the anemic image and the marketable queer one. The only way to be androgynous: rail thin, white as Christmas in Finland, consumptive. Models were scouted, packaged this way, then disposed of once they had aged out of the fey aesthetic. Something about seeing them years later on Instagram, sloppy, weird, greasy, chainsmoking, partying, was satisfying, the shedding of the artificial skin and the assumption of the unmarketable identity, the inundation of the Instagram account with memes instead of photoshoot outtakes, the gaining of weight and the growing of patchy beards, the eschewing of the sheer blouse in favor of kitschy t-shirts with stock photos of European-Union-themed nail art silkscreened across the front. High-waters paired with dirty running shoes. If Thomas Mann had seen them all now he may never have written Der Tod in Venedig. This is what his Tadzio would become? A smelly Prenzlauer Berg hipster in Dahmer glasses? Good.
Mateja was of a slightly different variety of industry pariahs, though. Once she left her representing agency, she grew her hair out, started wearing PVC skirts over black leotards, changed her name, started her own modeling agency for trans, genderqueer, nonbinary, and otherwise non-cisgender people. That was how we met. “The agency is called Das Modell,” she said as we sat at Südblock, casually inhaling an entire Flammkuchen while we talked about her work. “With two L’s. You know, like a concept, a theory, not like a person. And das, because it’s neutrisch. So is das Model, but the meanings are not quite the same.” I thought about the song by Kraftwerk and its rudimentary lyrics – “she is a model and she’s looking good / I’d like to take her home, that’s understood” – and how I had seen the German title of that song spelled both ways, with and without the extra L at the end. Of course, obsessed with all things robotic and scientific as they were, it would have made sense if the same wordplay had been intended there. “I just got sick of many things in this mainstream fashion industry,” she went on. “I left this agency because I told them I was not a male and they didn’t know what to do about that. They wanted to make me like Andreja, but I wasn’t like her. She knew she was a woman for many years, you know. She just didn’t come out because she knew she could make more money as a male model who looked like a woman than she could doing the same thing but identifying as a woman. Her whole career was relying on this one difference. I told them I was not this. They had no use for me. So I started my own agency.”
We had done a few photoshoots, all of which involved me in all black with my silver-blond hair, gaunt face, and crooked left ear front-and-center. I was not shaping up to be a Tadzio. I was 5’6”, my personal brand of androgyny was more evocative of clear and present illness than of foppish wastrel, my head was the size of a jovian planet, I had tattoos that I didn’t feel like showing, I wore drapey clothing that managed to convey the suggestion that I had a body somewhere without actually having to show it. My hair, which had held the same side-part for my entire life, would not do anything except lay exactly the way it wanted to. Mateja had been putting me in all-black turtlenecks for our shoots because they apparently emphasized my jawline. I hated turtlenecks enthusiastically, but I liked Mateja, so I endured. By the time we were halfway through one of our photoshoots, a roll of film in an empty room at the Neue Schule für Fotografie, filled with cracked mirrors that refracted the late-afternoon sunlight across the distinctly DDR parquet flooring, I was ready to shave my hair off and go around for the next months wearing a scarf-wig, Little Edie in Grey Gardens style, clad in a monk’s robe. I had seen myself standing in every unflattering angle I could possibly achieve in every cracked mirror that shot beams of Minority Report lighting across my face and washed out my nose. I sat on a dinosaur of a desk that had been pushed to the wall while Mateja changed a film roll, squinting out at the sunset over a particularly dingy part of Mitte. I had shown up to the photoshoot with only the clothes I was wearing, an attempt to avoid the bringing-up of a tight black turtleneck. The shirt I had chosen had a band collar and was loose. She did not express disapproval of it, but it was most likely not what she would have chosen, either.
“I think what we concentrate on the most is your face and your hands,” Mateja said. She began to take photos of me as I sat on the desk. “These are your best features.” My hands? They were German Expressionist monstrosities disproportionate to the rest of my body, but I did like them. My face, though? At times I was at peace with it, at other times I wanted to take my fingernails and gore it into unrecognizability. I had strong bone structure because I was sick, not because I was effortlessly beautiful like the Tadzios. None of this would have been interesting to Mateja, who simply commented on how good I was at sitting still and catching the best light with the slightest inclinations of my head. I was just trying to hide that damn ear.
Later that summer, Mateja asked me if I was interested in doing a group photo series for a fashion publication called Achtung, shot by a Köln-based photographer named Eva, centered around Mateja’s fashion endeavor and showcasing some of the agency’s talent. As it happened, the photoshoot was to be the day Sam and I left Berlin for our overnight through-the-whole-Czech-Republic odyssey to Vienna. “Eva says she wants to do some shots of us individually, then as groups, just in the apartment, then at night to go out and photograph us at some bars,” Mateja said. “I explained to her and the magazine what we expected of pronouns, proper language, things like this. They told us to bring several pieces of clothing that we feel the most comfortable in, our favorite things to wear.” I agreed to the daytime photoshoot, noting that I would not make the evening half of the project because I had a bus to catch with a friend.
It was July and a massive heat-wave was preparing to seize all of Germany by the throat and hold it fast all the way until the end of August. It was already smoldering in Bavaria and Austria, but had not yet crept up to Berlin. I could still comfortably spend a day outdoors in black shitkicker Docs, heavy black knee-socks, black schoolboy shorts, a white collared button-down, a crust punk neckerchief, and a black blazer with the lapels covered in buttons and brooches, inspired by Rik Mayall’s moody anarchist character from The Young Ones. In Berlin nobody looks twice if you wear the same outfit for a month. It felt only right that this should be the ensemble I brought along.
I think I was the most difficult to style. In attendance were Mateja, a young transwoman from München named Kim, Mateja’s genderqueer roommate whose name I don’t remember, a model and fashion designer named Leni with a look and backstory very similar to Mateja’s, and myself. The two stylists from the magazine looked at what I was wearing, evaluated my face, and made an executive decision: turtlenecks. Put him in turtlenecks. I wanted to scream. My foray into modeling was shaping up to be one backless infinite wardrobe filled with Hermès turtlenecks. “These make your face look incredible,” said the stylists to me in German. “Much more masculine jawline.” I didn’t want a masculine jawline. “Was für ein Gesicht,” Eva said as she snapped photos.
Exactly none of the clothes I was put into were clothes I would wear in any setting ever. Giant 1970s flared pants with platform-heel boots and turtlenecks, awful leather pants and Gucci jean jackets and turtlenecks, everything shot from the front to avoid acknowledging that Sam and I had cut my hair the night before with what could have been a chainsaw and a cheese knife, the crooked ear front-and-center again. I wanted to demand to know why my own clothes didn’t suffice. No, it wasn’t sleek, but neither was punk, neither was queer. I thought about the crust punks who hung out around Warschauer Straße with their dogs and their witty cardboard signs, about the squatters who tromped around Kreuzberg in their boots and bandannas. Did the people from this magazine know nothing about this?
After the main shoot began wrapping up, I got back into my clothes while Mateja and everyone else suited up for their night out, choosing other clothes to bring along for wardrobe changes. Mateja’s first outfit was a slim-cut suit with no shirt underneath, and Leni put on a matching ensemble. Together they put on music and danced while Eva snapped photos, them waiting for it to get dark enough for phase two, me waiting for the right time to leave. They moved like cats, tossing their hair about and embracing each other. I stood to the side, watching and holding my backpack which held enough CLIF bars to last Sam and I through our entire Austrian trek in the coming 36 hours. At some point Eva noticed me, my buttons, my boots, and called me over to snap a picture of me, just standing there, still holding my backpack, in front of this wall, dance music still blaring. Somewhere out there that picture exists. Months later, when Mateja met up with me to give me a hard copy of the magazine, she sighed and simply said, “I don’t know if I’m happy with this series. Eva did very well shooting us, but I think the magazine missed the point.”

Tirade: Pünktlich wie ein Deutscher Zug... Eine Odyssee (Hinfahrt)
Ach r/de,
Ich muss jetzt mal meinen Frust mit der Bahn bei euch auslassen. Ich sitze gerade noch im Ersatzzug auf dem Heimweg nach München und hab deswegen bestimmt noch genug Zeit das zu schreiben.
Wie kam es dazu? Verlängertes Wochenende bei Tante und Onkel in Berlin.
Weil der ganze Text bisschen länger wird, mach ich wenn gewünscht einen Zweiten Teil in dem die aktuell noch nicht vollendete Odyssee der Rückfahrt erklärt wird. Hier also die Hinfahrt:
Am Samstag früh ging es los. Mein Wecker klingelt und am Hauptbahnhof München wird der ICE 1600 (nach Hamburg) +ICE 1710 (nach Ostseebad Binz) mit Abfahrt um 8:37 schon vorbereitet... dachte ich.
Pünktlich um 8:20 kommt die U-Bahn in dem Bahnhof an und voller Vorfreude suche ich Gleis 23 auf. Ich laufe am Bahnsteig ganz vor, weil der ICE 3 vorne Plätze hat, bei denen man dem Fahrer zuschauen kann und ich sowas ziemlich cool finde.
Ganz vorne steht auch schon ein anderer, vielleicht so 26 Jähriger den wir mal Marko nennen. Wir kommen ins Gespräch und Unterhalten uns über unsere Ziele: Berlin für mich und ein kleines Dorf im Umland von Krakau für ihn. Marko muss dafür in Berlin seinen Berlin-Warschau-Express um 15:20 erwischen.
Inzwischen die erste Durchsage: "Aufgrund einer verspäteten Bereitstellung kommt ICE 1600 mit ice 1710 20min später" Das war mir egal... passiert halt nunmal und 20min sollte der zug bis Berlin auch aufgeholt haben.
Die zwei weiteren Durchsagen sind noch weniger erfreulich: "Das Zugteil 1600 nach Hamburg fällt heute aus. Fahrgäste nach Hamburg steigen bitte in den ICE auf dem Nachbargleis, Fahrgäste nach Berlin nehmen bitte das andere Zugteil" Und "Der ICE 1710 fährt heute von gleis 21"
Nachdem Marko abgeklärt hat, ob er durch die Verspätung nun auch freie Zugwahl hat, entschließen wir uns, nicht weiter auf den ice 1710 (der im Endeffekt auch nicht kam) zu warten, sondern den ICE 800 zu nehmen.
9:54 Uhr Abfahrt und die Reise beginnt nun aber wirklich. Planmäßige Ankunft war nun eine Stunde später um ca. 14:30 statt 13:30 aber das war für Marko und mich okay. Der Zug war komplett voll. Wir haben uns auf einen 4er Platz gesetzt, der ab Bamberg besetzt sein sollte.
In Erlangen und Bamberg sind auch sehr viele genervte Gäste eingestiegen. Der ICE 1600/1710 ist komplett ausgefallen und die Gäste mussten mit S-Bahn und Regionalexpress den Bahnhof wechseln, weil unser ICE 800 nicht in Nürnberg hält. Was zum Glück nicht dabei war: die Besitzer von unseren Sitzen.
Einige Minuten später in Erfurt geht der Spaß weiter: "Die Abfahrt unseres Zuges verlängert sich um wenige Minuten". Und das beste: "Wir können nicht weiterfahren. Grund hierfür ist, dass der Zug zu voll ist... ". Nachdem die Frauenstimme nun zum 6. Mal diesen Satz durchs Micro in den überfüllten Zug gebrüllt hat und dazu noch 30€ Gutscheine für die, die sich Opfern angeboten hat, war der Zug anscheinend leer genug, um los zu fahren.
"Die Fahr verzögert sich um 30 Minuten, weil auf der Strecke nach Halle eine Signalstörung ist. Mit dem unfreiwilligen Aufenthalt in Erfurt haben wir nun eine Verspätung von 50 minuten" Langsam wird Marko nervös. Den Berlin Warschau express kann er wohl vergessen, wenn das so weiter geht.
Genervt schau ich aus dem Fenster und verfolge auf dem ICE Portal den Standort des Zuges. Wir sind nicht Richtung Halle gefahren... wir sind nach Leipzig gefahren, um dann nach Halle abzubiegen. Inzwischen hat sich auch die 50min Verspätung als euphemistisch herausgestellt. Neue Ansage: 70min.
Na toll. Ich wollte um 13:30 am Hauptbahnhof sein. Angekommen bin ich um 16:10.
Da standen wir also nun beide bei dem DB Servicecenter: ich für mein Fahrgastrechteformular, Marko um irgendwie weiter zu kommen. Er hatte mittlerweile aufgegeben am selben Tag bei seiner Oma anzukommen. Neuer Plan für Marko war es mit der DB Service Tante den Zug umzubuchen um zu seinem Onkel zu fahren und dort ein Auto zu leihen, mit dem er dann weiter zur Oma kommt. Ob er es geschafft hat? Ich wünsche es ihm.
Ich bin eigentlich wirklich großer Fan von der Bahn. Ich suche mir meine Zugverbindung nach ICE Baureihe aus. Umso mehr tut es weh solche Erlebnisse regelmäßig zu erleben. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wie die Bahn das macht. In den letzten Jahren ist es erst einmal passiert, dass ich auf einer Fahrt in den Urlaub nicht deutlich zu spät gekommen bin. Ich hab schon so viel Geld für die BahnCard und Tickets gezahlt, dass ich doch ein Mindestmaß an Zuverlässigkeit erwarten möchte. Vergeblich. Ich wollte kein Auto aber ich werde förmlich dazu genötigt mir für die paar Fahrten im Monat eines zu kaufen... Mal schauen...
Aktuell sitze ich noch die nächste Stunde (es ist 23:00) im ICE nach München. Eigentlich sollte ich um 22:00 ankommen aber die Geschichte wäre etwas für einen Teil zwei...

42988 „München-Nürnberg Express“ その1
こちらはだいぶんご無沙汰しております。Twitterメインに移行してしまい、ブログ的に書けるネタはたくさんあれど、忙しいのと面倒くさいのときっとほとんど誰にも見られてないだろうというので書くモチベーションがなかなか沸かなかったのです。
そんな中、メルクリンのMünchen-Nürnberg Express(以下MüNüExp)の客車セットが入線し、調べてみると色々面白かったので備忘録としてこちらに書いておきたいと思った次第です。気が変わらないうちに、まとめておきます。
このMüNüExpですが、その名の通りミュンヘン〜ニュルンベルク間を結ぶRegional Express(RE)で、扱いとしては追加料金のいらない快速ですが、最大の特徴は、ICEと同じニュルンベルグ〜インゴルシュタット間高速新線(NBS)を通り、最速200km/hで爆走するドイツ最速のREであることです。牽引する機関車は200km/h運転に耐えるBR 101で、DB Bahn Personenverkehr(DB AGの長距離旅客部門)からわざわざリースしています。なお、実際の運用は、すでにシュコダの2階建客車に代わってしまいました。
模型の方は、2022年の新製品として発表されましたが、大方の予想通り、2023年に入ってもなかなか発売されず、2023年3月に出荷開始。日本にも4月に入る直前で入ってきたものです。外装はミュンヘン→ニュルンベルクのRE4018を再現しています。

4輌基本セット(42988)+2輌増結セット(42989)で全6輌の編成になります。標準色のBR 101も併せて発表されましたが、こちらは標準色としては2013年以来の再販になりました。

⚫︎制御車: Bpmbdzf 296.3

制御車は新金型です。これまでに発売済みのBpmmbdzf 286.1(上写真右側)と比較すると、窓の数・配置、屋根上のアンテナ類、運転席横のエアスクープ有無やバッファ横の昇降梯子、運転席部分の外装取り外しのラインの違いなど、ちゃんと実車を再現しているのが分かります。

後ろからの姿。幌が気密対応になっていたり、尾灯が車体エッジ部に移っていたりと286.1との違いが見えますね。
実車は元東独の所謂ハルバーシュタット客車で、東西統一後にBom 281→1999年に12両がBpmbdzf 297.3に改造→2002〜2003年にかけて全12両がBpmbdzf 296.3に改造 という来歴を辿っています。なおこの後、Bpmmbdzf 286.3へと、さらに改造されています。数値がちょっと減っていってるし、ドイツの形式番号の付け方がよくわかりません()

Der Cicero Rednerpreis soll laut Selbstdarstellung auf „die wichtige Rolle der Redekunst in einer auf Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Dialogbereitschaft angewiesenen Demokratie“ hinweisen. Er wird vergeben in den Kategorien Kultur, Politik, Wirtschaft und Wissenschaft. Namensgeber ist der Staatsmann und Philosoph Marcus Tullius Cicero.

Hanns Zischler ist als Sohn eines Steinbruchbesitzers und Steinhändlers Johann Zischler im fränkischen Dorf Langenaltheimaufgewachsen. Nach dem Tod seiner Mutter ging er auf ein protestantisches Internat in Ingolstadt zur Schule, wo sein Interesse an Musik und Philosophie gefördert wurde. Danach besuchte er das Internat Marquartstein und erlangte 1966 sein Abitur. In München und Berlin belegte er Vorlesungen in Philosophie, Ethnologie, Musikwissenschaft und Literaturwissenschaft. Zischler arbeitete als Lektor und Übersetzer von französischen Philosophen und ging 1968 an die Berliner Schaubühne, wo er von 1973 bis 1975 als Dramaturgie- und Regieassistent tätig war. In Karlsruhe und Basel inszenierte er 1976 gemeinsam mit Regisseur Harun Farocki die Theaterstücke Die Schlacht und Traktor von Heiner Müller. Er ließ die Welt des Theaters hinter sich, da er nach eigenen Angaben nicht dauerhaft in geschlossenen, fensterlosen Räumen arbeiten mochte.
Als Schauspieler war er seit den 1970er-Jahren in deutschen Filmproduktionen unter anderem von Wim Wenders, Peter Handke, Peter Lilienthal, Rudolf Thome zu sehen. In Thomes Spielfilmen trat er bisher acht Mal auf. Bekannt wurde Zischler vor allem 1976 durch das Roadmovie Im Lauf der Zeit von Wim Wenders. Auch in internationalen Produktionen von Autorenfilmern wie Claude Chabrol, Andrew Birkin und István Szabó wirkte er mit. 2005 spielte er in Steven Spielbergs Filmdrama München die Rolle des Mossad-Agenten Hans.
In der schwedischen Krimiserie Kommissar Beck – Die neuen Fälle spielte er die Rolle des Josef Hillman in den Folgen Das Kartell, Der Mann ohne Gesicht, Preis der Rache (TV, 2001), Der Junge in der Glaskugel, Tod per Inserat, Der Einsiedler und Absender unbekannt (Fernsehen, 2002). In dem auf der Berlinale 2009 uraufgeführten Film Hilde über das Leben Hildegard Knefs spielte Zischler die Rolle des UFA-Filmproduzenten Erich Pommer.
Zischler spielt seine Rollen mit sehr großer Geistesgegenwart und Präsenz. Nach Meinung von Reclams Lexikon des deutschen Films verkörpere er eine „vertrauenerweckende Männlichkeit, die jeder modischen Attitüde trotzt und sympathisch altmodisch auftritt.“ Von dem Regisseur Jean-Luc Godard wurde er als Gentleman Actor bezeichnet. Die FAZ urteilte über seine Schauspielkunst: Zischler agiere im Film auf „eine emphatische, dabei absichtsvoll zurückhaltende Weise“, sein „Markenzeichen“ sei „die expressive Lakonie“. Er ist einer der meistbeschäftigten Schauspieler Deutschlands, bis 2015 wurden mehr als 220 Film- und Fernsehrollen gezählt, in denen er sehr unterschiedliche Charaktere dargestellt hatte. Dennoch wird er bis heute vor allem nur von Filmkennern geschätzt und geachtet, deren Anerkennung ihm jedoch nach eigener Aussage genügt.
2006 gründete Zischler nach 1968 zum zweiten Mal den Alpheus Verlag in Berlin, worin von 2007 bis 2010 die Schriftenreihe TUMULT. Schriften zur Verkehrswissenschaft (herausgegeben von Walter Seitter und Frank Böckelmann) vorübergehend erschien.
Zischler wohnt seit 1968 in Berlin, lebte seit 1978 mit der Landschaftsarchitektin und Künstlerin Regina Poly (1942–2014) zusammen und war seit 2008/2009 mit ihr verheiratet. Sein Sohn Julian Middendorf (1978–2013) war als Schauspieler, Tänzer und Yoga-Lehrer tätig.
