/ artist advice of the day! how to impulse the habit of drawing art every day or on a frequent basis without burning out or feeling it like a pain? do ur drawings based on characters you truly love. It doesn't matter if only you and 3 other people know about them, it doesn't matter whether they are popular or not, it has to be someone YOU like a lot, and it doesn't matter if they turn out not looking like the way you envisioned, or even fisnished!, just keep drawing the same character ! i found that this makes warming up before taking on a bigger piece much more entertaining and comforting as u start with something ur comfortable with and then advance to something new; it is like ur fav character is cheering u on already before u take that big step, its like they are coaching u in a way !

/ I've noticed that at this point I'm not even writing on any blog anymore, I just come and yell about some blorbo and leave. Rinse and repeat my lieges

#;ooc #ooc #insert that pic of the guy explaining something on a board: jaguar warrior m.octe #apparently a lot of the outfits were made with feathers -mimicking- the colors of jaguars #so it wasnt necessarily the entirety of a jaguar's skin #the actual jaguar skin could have been worn by people of high ranking in the military too but mostly under a ceremonial context #either is the case; the symbolism was there as jaguars represented t.ezcatlipoca and these outfits were worn bc #they were thought to give the warriors the power of the animal #which is why there's also eagles too #all intimidating and powerful animals indeed #the heads were also made of wood sometimes too; wood covered by feathers and shaped in the form of an eagle or jaguar head #the pain of never finishing wips #i have a c.amazotz too that never saw the light of day; blah! one day brain #;m.octezuma ii
