I just thought of him being created with the sole purpose of knowledge and duty ( being affiliated with the stars and astrology ), being a high-ranked angel but not enough to be one of the archangels. Having the titles, it's as if he's similar or close to Lucifer's role (before the fall) or maybe an extension. He does everything to fulfill his purpose. However, the downside is that he always gets compared with Lucifer (pre-fall).

So what he does is look up to him, idolizing someone he has never met, he's practically devoted at some point, nearing a follower. But oh so bitter and sour because all he gets is to be COMPARED.

Cherry on top that he wants to impress Michael, but Michael can barely look at him because all he sees is Lucifer.

All of his hard work feels like it's going to waste because he'll always be a shadow of someone he never knew. And that created grudges, created hate, created his rage. Thus, it's the reason for his Fall. Bro's identity revolves around a dead person (Angel Luci). That's why he's a narcissistic asshole with fucking identity and anger issues.

What's worse is meeting Lucifer himself, the person he looked up to all his life, doesn't know him.

It's not Lucifer's fault though.

OKAY HERE'S A WILD CARD. I tried to make a few people guess this one on discord and NOBODY could guess. My friend is on a Batman kick right now and has been catching me ( woefully ignorant of all superhero media ) up to speed. You know who jumped out at me and tugged on the heartstrings? Bruce, you'd think, right? Neg's RP The Main Character Syndrome™️? ...Well okay yes but 1) that's a boring answer coming from me and 2) I have NOT consumed enough Batman media to feel confident writing him.

No, you know who gave me instant serotonin every time he came on the screen? Motherfucking ALFRED. I can't explain it. I think he lights up the same areas of my brain that Ignis FFXV does? Advisor to rich MC dude that operates on tough love. Maybe I just gravitate to him because holy shit if I had my own Alfred all my problems would be solved, my depression would be cured, and my pores would be clear. ( Maybe this just means I'm on track to end up writing Bruce anyway LMAO. )

IDK MAN, I'm not sure I'd be super good at him, I dunno if I'm smart enough to do him justice, but man he just gives me warm fuzzies. He'd probably have to be Telltale exclusive because that's the only continuity ( besides Lego ) that I've actually finished. But aaaaah my special old man. Everyone's gotta have at least one I guess.

I'm off and on about wanting to go on T and not. Sometimes I wish I was on it so badly and other times I just think "eh I'm happy without it". Mostly concerning my voice. I want a deeper voice so bad, I've never felt like my voice was mine it just sounds so wrong to me, I like some things about it but overall I just want a deep voice. The only issue is I don't want to come out to my family and I think they'd notice if my voice was suddenly lower. It's just frustrating because it's a hard and big choice that I would have to make for myself.

So I read A Civil Campaign, and I had a great time. And I have some criticisms of how Bujold writes children!

She’s not without sympathy for the Condition of Children, and she doesn’t romanticize innocence, and that’s very welcome. But it feels like in the effort to not romanticize, or maybe in the joy of not pretending kids are 100% wonderful, the portrayal becomes All Shortcomings All The Time. “Lack of adult wisdom” seems to be the defining quality of a child in her work...

And what makes it really feel stark is that she DOESN’T portray everyone this way. Most characters get delightful rosy lighting-- even the nasty people, in their own way. Like it's said that ImpSec does terrifying things for the Greater Good, but how long has it been since we saw how they harmed someone, or even got the wrong guy? I’m not saying they need to be portrayed in an unbiased way, that's not what the vorkosigan saga is about, but I am asking: Why are the secret police so much more charming than any of the kids??

Hah- it's ... You are confused if it's like a crossover sorta au? (like 'from the archives' which is a hermitcraft × tma au, the only example I can think of haha)

Well not like that, it's just an fantasy sci-fi au, where the word and story is original but heavily inspired by events from the origin series (that being hermitcraft as well as elements from life series and empires)

Basically, sci-fi fantasy au, with story that is stitched together with reference or similar arcs from the original series??

Honestly... No idea if I'm explaining it well. No idea how frequent fandom goers would describe it, asides from just ...au
