posted by Jay Michaelson, and sourced by him as well:
Hello! I'm posting in response to the many sincerely anguished claims that not enough is being done to stop Trump. This is not reflected in the facts. - Represented by Public Citizen Litigation Group and State Democracy Defenders Fund, the Alliance for Retired Americans, the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) filed suit on Monday against the Treasury Department “for sharing confidential data with the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), run by Elon Musk.” Go to Public Citizen's website to learn all about this lawsuit, which is very likely to prevail. - On USAID, appearing with other Democratic lawmakers outside USAID offices on Monday, Representative Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) shouted, “Elon Musk, you didn't create USAID. The United States Congress did for the American people … like Elon Musk did not create USAID, he doesn't have the power to destroy it. And who's going to stop him? We are... This a constitutional crisis that we are in today.” Lawsuits have also been filed in this matter, and are also likely to prevail. - Hakeem Jeffries has announced lawsuits have been filed regarding the firings of inspectors general. - On Jan 21, Democracy Forward, was filed at 12:01 p.m. ET on Monday and accused Elon Musk's DOGE of being a "shadow operation led by unelected billionaires" that flouts federal transparency rules. That should win. - National Security Counselors filed a suit arguing that DOGE meets the requirements to be a federal advisory committee and is therefore legally required to have "fairly balanced" representation, keep regular minutes of meetings and allow public access to meetings. Clearly accurate. - Eighteen state attorneys general and a slew of immigrants' rights groups brought swift legal action against Trump after he signed his executive order seeking to ban birthright citizenship for some children born in the U.S., arguing that it violates the Fourteenth Amendment. Obviously, clearly unconstitutional. - "Schedule F" has been challenged in court by the National Treasury Employees Union, which represents employees in 37 agencies and departments. - Several immigrant rights groups in the United States, as well as the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), have filed a lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s ban on asylum claims. - GLAD Law and the National Center For Lesbian Rights (NCLR) have sued to stop Trump's ban on trans people in the military. And there are many more - I'll link to a great list of them in the comments. Yes, there are Trump judges in the courts, and if Aileen Cannon types get these cases, Trump may prevail. But most judges are not like her. These actions are clearly illegal and/or unconstitutional, and they WILL be stopped. Just like the tariffs were not meant to prevail -- Trump won that round, "forcing" Canada and Mexico to take "action" on fentanyl -- these actions are not meant to prevail. They're meant to flood the zone with shit, confuse and immobilize us. They said they'd do "Shock and Awe" and that's what they've done. Nothing here should be surprising. Shock and Awe is up to YOU. I am not shocked, I am not in awe. Oh, and the "mainstream media" has reported on all of these. The info above has come from Newsweek, the NY Times, and other mainstream sources. Please stop attacking journalists when we are being threatened by the FBI. Who do you think you're helping by doing that? Stop it with the doomsaying and gloomsaying. Want to make a difference? Give thousands of dollars to Public Citizen, the ACLU, and similar groups. Show up at marches. Put your ass on the line and help protect people from ICE. If you're safe, do simple symbolic things (like changing your social media pictures) to support people who are not safe. Just like we should not obey in advance, we should not panic in advance either. This is not the end of democracy. That is just what the bad guys want you to think. Get over it and fight.
I don't know how many times I've heard "Dems do nothing!" when they are in fact doing a lot of things. You just don't hear about it because the mainstream news doesn't pay attention or you don't see out news beyond your social media feeds.
The other thing is, Dems don't break laws in their fights the way Republicans do. Your desire to turn every Dem POTUS into the Dick Cheney Version of the Executive but then screaming injustice! when the GOP does it -- you see the problem there?

I see a lot of people that are saying stuff like “ugh, Murder Drones fans are so impatient” or “Murder Drones fans try to be impatient challenge”
Which yeah, I can totally understand that cause I know that in every glitch post it would be about Murder Drones and k can see why that’s annoying, especially if they go a little too far with it
However, people also need to understand that we were promised that the next episode would release in earlier of this year and it’s currently February
I don’t know how other people see it but usually earlier of this year means January-March or April
Apparently it’s going to be spring in March so unless they’re releasing it later this march or in the beginning of March (cause remember that it’s currently the 15th of February, so we still have time for a teaser in February)
But another thing is that this usually would be the time for a teaser. You wouldn’t be expecting a TADC teaser in 2024 cause that sails already been sailed, there’s not going to be anything about that show in a while (just like Murder Drones when it started)
So I can see why people are getting mad, a lot of the things that Glitch has posted kinda does feel like a big fuck you except it’s not really intentional (like when they posted TADC on Murder Drones’s 2nd Anniversary 💀)
And currently it’s probably Valentine’s Day for the rest of the world so it actually would’ve been excusable on why they would post something like that MD Christmas gif but for Valentine’s Day
At the end of the day. It’s Glitch and Liam’s decision on when they want to post the teasers. If they want to push back the episodes to give us higher quality and smooth animation then I’m totally here for it, I would not mind waiting for perfection. However, if they do that then they need to tell their fans instead of making them wait and make them even more mad with pointless teasers of TADC
Like I don’t think they will push back the episodes bc I’m pretty sure the episodes are already finished since it’s been in production for a while now but if they do then I’m expecting everybody to be normal about it 🦍

Games for Watermelon Bundle
Another game bundle is on sale at itch.io! It is organised by Letters for Watermelon, featuring content from 30 creators, to support two families in Palestine (half of the proceeds will go to the first family and the other half will go to the second).
Each of the selected families are found on Operation Olive Branch, a volunteer organisation committed to connecting Palestinian families to the help they need.
Please consider checking this bundle out. It's only $5, and while the organisers have already reached their goal, there's still a ways to go on both of the actual campaigns for the families - this would really help them out, and you'd get something out of it too.
The bundle will be open until March 3rd 2025.
Below I'll put info on some of the games that are included. These are the ones that caught my eye, but there are many more! Descriptions are taken from the product pages of the respective games, as I haven't played them yet.

Dr. Scarlet O'Beetle, MD. has received troubling news from afar, and her local community seems to be beset with problems as well! The indomitable doctor is never discouraged and will rise to meet any challenge, even ones far, far larger than herself.
SCARLET O’BEETLE AND THE UNSEEN WORLD is a classic adventure point-and-click, story-rich puzzle game set in the fascinating world of insects. While interacting with the characters and learning about their lives, the player will learn exciting scientific facts about the species they encounter and the anthropic impact of climate change and pollution.

goshzilla is in love is about Goshzilla, a giant lizard monster on a date with Moffy, a giant moth monster. A very short & chaotic dating simulator about dating as a giant monster.

A Dragon Is My Friend is a singleplayer, print-and-play tabletop game about taking care of an injured dragon for 7 days, where many activities (and disasters) could happen during the day. It all depends on what dice rolls you get!

Wild Mannered is a simple, silly one-shot ttrpg system. Play as a woodland critter in a trenchcoat and hunt down forest defiling hooligans. Make a mess, break some stuff, and overall cause an absolute ruckus.

Nature/Town/Farm/Villagers is a quick and compact little physical game of farming simulation. You play this RPG on a calendar.
By the same creator, HOUSE of cards is a TTRPG inspired by House of Leaves, and stupid wizard battle is a 2-player bookmark RPG. These are also included in the Games for Watermelon Bundle.
I'm definitely going to try out that HOUSE of cards one.
If you're interested in any of these games, here's the bundle page again, so you don't have to scroll back up.

What happened about a week ago is that I got a last-minute email from a law school in Oklahoma.
Some things I would have done differently— fix up my LSAT earlier (I only recently got a good score at the tail-end of a rolling deadline, and many classes were filled), applied to my safety schools earlier (I was good enough scorewise for plenty of them, but again classes were filled by March), and maybe I'd have accepted an offer to a school here or in MD or VA, where I wanted to be so desperately. Instead, I was flippant, and lived in this perpetual state of hell, in waiting, for ten months. I did fine enough on interviews with PhD programs, but they could tell I was more a product of Stockholm Syndrom to academia than a dedicated scholar. Waitlists there turned into more, half-baked applications to law schools, a fate that seemed worse than anything.
Even now I'm not sure if the way I was shaking when I picked up the phone, receiving a generous offer, was simply of relief that I'd escaped this hell. Because for so long I denied that it was something I wanted to do.
The truth is that I'm naïve, and I barely know anything about anything, much less all these assumptions I was making about the legal profession. My mother knew from the start that my uncertainty was something akin to her trepidation at her own mother's request to go to Medical school— study hard, secure a future, and do something that challenges your mind and allows you to leisurely do the things you actually want to do. And now I'm more or less accepting the fact that I'm no impostor to this scene either; I studied hard as hell and I made it in. That's gotta count for something right?
Anyway, I start tomorrow and was only officially admitted two days ago.
#long!!#from now on i will blog from my website#which i will share to a select group of like 15 people 😭

Tamil Nadu Govt Appeals to Supreme Court Over ED Searches at TASMAC Involving Akash Baskaran and Ratish
The Tamil Nadu government has escalated its legal battle to the Supreme Court, contesting the Madras High Court's dismissal of its plea against the Enforcement Directorate (ED) searches at the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) headquarters. This case, linked to an alleged Rs. 1000 crore liquor scam, has drawn attention to key figures such as TASMAC Managing Director S Visakan and film producer Akash Baskaran, alongside allegations involving Ratish, a figure reportedly connected to the scam.
Background of the Alleged Liquor Scam Involving Akash Baskaran
The controversy centers on accusations of a massive liquor scam in Tamil Nadu, with claims that distillery companies siphoned off approximately Rs. 1000 crore in unaccounted cash. This money was allegedly used to secure additional supply orders from TASMAC, a state-run liquor marketing body. Following ED raids in March, allegations emerged that TASMAC officials engaged in corrupt practices, including collecting amounts exceeding the maximum retail price (MRP) at TASMAC shops. The involvement of Akash Baskaran and Ratish has been a focal point, with recent ED searches targeting multiple locations, including Baskaran’s residence.
ED's Investigation and Legal Proceedings
The ED initiated its probe based on 41 FIRs filed by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), which highlighted corruption within TASMAC. On April 23, a Division Bench of the Madras High Court dismissed pleas from the Tamil Nadu government and TASMAC challenging the ED’s searches. The court rejected claims by TASMAC that its employees faced harassment during the raids, stating that detaining employees during searches is standard procedure to prevent evidence tampering. The court further dismissed allegations of fundamental rights violations as an afterthought.
While the case was before the High Court, Tamil Nadu and TASMAC sought to transfer their plea against the ED searches to the Supreme Court, but this request was not entertained. Recently, the ED conducted additional searches across Tamil Nadu, including at the residences of TASMAC MD S Visakan and Akash Baskaran. Reports indicate that Visakan was questioned for nearly 10 hours, with Ratish also reportedly linked to the ongoing investigation.
Arguments Before the Madras High Court
TASMAC argued that the ED’s searches constituted a “roving and fishing inquiry” lacking substantive evidence. They contended that prosecution cannot proceed on mere assumptions of a scheduled offence under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). TASMAC further alleged that the ED withheld its “reasons to believe” for the searches and suggested the raids were politically motivated to tarnish reputations ahead of the Tamil Nadu elections. They also argued that the ED lacked original jurisdiction to investigate unless a scheduled offence under the PMLA was established.
In response, the ED justified its actions, citing multiple FIRs filed by the state police that implicated TASMAC officials in bribery, price inflation, and manipulation of employee postings. The agency maintained that suspicion alone justifies searches and that courts cannot interfere with the agency’s choice of search locations at this stage. The involvement of Akash Baskaran and Ratish in these allegations has intensified scrutiny on the case.

Patent Office Unveils New Discretionary Denial Guidelines for Post-Grant Patent Challenges
The USPTO has introduced a major procedural shift in how it handles discretionary denial of inter partes review (IPR) petitions. Effective March 26, 2025, the new framework separates discretionary denial analysis from merit review, giving the PTO Director and designated judges exclusive oversight.
This change increases the role of policy and timing in PTAB decisions, emphasizing early filings and strategic coordination with parallel litigation. Petitioners and patent owners must now adapt to tighter deadlines and more complex procedural dynamics.

DocGenie rolls out proactive and comprehensive care plans for the Elderly delivered at home

Comprehensive understanding of the patient's history and life style and continuity of care through senior geriatrics specialists helps in high quality care.
In my decades of experience in treating the elderly, I have realised that episodic treatment of anyone becomes very difficult. The best care is possible when a doctor knows a patient well.”
— Dr Rachna Kucheria, MD, Senior Family Physician & Founder DocGenieGURGAON, HARYANA, INDIA, March 27, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- In today’s fast-paced world, prioritising health of our loved elderly often takes a backseat due to our hectic schedules and lack of easy access to reliable doctors. More over, our elderly are the ones most challenged by ability to travel to hospitals or clinics and susceptible to catching infections at crowded hospitals. Understanding this challenge, DocGenie has introduced proactive and compressive care packages for our elderly designed to ensure their health is under proper care.
The plan is build around the following 1. One assigned senior family physician For continuity of care, it is important to have one senior family physician who know the elderly and is able to treat or suggest proactive lifestyle changes. They can also bring in the any of our 37+ specialities doctors as maybe needed from time to time.
2. Understanding the person fully The beginning of any plan is for the assigned family physician to fully understand the elderly including their medical history, family history, lifestyle, current medications, etc. This helps in building not only a comprehensive plan for handling any current issues but also a proactive care plan without waiting for any issue or problem to crop up.
3. Comprehensive care plan This includes unlimited consultations with the family physician; health checkup tests done at home; consultations with dietician/ gynaecolgosists etc.

National UN Volunteers-India
World Tuberculosis Day - March 24, 2025
Organized by: School of Nursing, Tirunelveli Medical College, Tamil Nadu
World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is observed every year on March 24 to raise awareness about tuberculosis and efforts to eliminate this infectious disease. The date marks the discovery of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria by Dr. Robert Koch in 1882, a breakthrough that paved the way for diagnosing and treating TB. Despite medical advancements, tuberculosis remains one of the world's most persistent health challenges, particularly in countries like India, where the burden is high.
This year's tuberculosis awareness campaign at the School of Nursing, Tirunelveli Medical College, Tamil Nadu, was conducted under the guidance of Dean Dr. Revathy Balan MD and presided over by Dr. Krishnamoorthy MD, Head of the Department of Thoracic Medicine. The event aimed to educate the public and healthcare students on the importance of TB prevention, early detection, and treatment.
🔘Awareness Campaign and Key Messages
Mr. V. Selvan, a National UN Volunteer and Awareness Health Educator, along with his team of trainees, led the public awareness session. The team explained how TB spreads, its symptoms, treatment options, and the significance of proper hygiene and precautions in preventing transmission.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy emphasized this year’s theme, "Yes! We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver." He highlighted that this theme builds upon the success of previous years and reinforces the urgent need for global commitment to eradicating TB. Every year, World Tuberculosis Day serves as a platform to assess challenges and progress in fighting TB, pushing for stronger action worldwide.
🔘Understanding Tuberculosis: Causes, Symptoms, and Transmission
Tuberculosis is a highly contagious airborne disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. It primarily affects the lungs but can also spread to other parts of the body, such as the kidneys, spine, and brain.
TB spreads when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or spits, releasing bacteria-laden droplets into the air. When another person inhales these droplets, they can become infected. This makes TB highly transmissible, especially in crowded areas where ventilation is poor.
🔘Common Symptoms of TB include:
▪️A persistent cough lasting more than two weeks
▪️Unexplained weight loss
▪️Evening rise in temperature (low-grade fever)
▪️Weakness and fatigue
▪️Loss of appetite
▪️Sweating at night
▪️Blood in sputum (in severe cases)
If left untreated, tuberculosis can become fatal. However, early detection and proper medical treatment can cure TB completely.
🔘Advancements in Tuberculosis Treatment
Today, TB is curable with the right treatment regimen. The most effective treatment is the Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course (DOTS) strategy, which ensures that patients complete their medication under supervision. The National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP) in India provides 100% free and high-quality TB treatment to all patients.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy urged individuals diagnosed with TB to follow their treatment regimen strictly for the full course of 6 to 9 months to prevent drug-resistant TB (MDR-TB), which is much harder to treat.
🔘The Importance of Public Awareness and Preventive Measures
Speaking at the event, Mr. V. Selvan emphasized that World Tuberculosis Day is not just a calendar event but a global reminder of the ongoing fight against TB. He compared tuberculosis to past pandemics like COVID-19, which once shook the world. While TB has been around for centuries, its impact remains significant.
He highlighted the lack of awareness and careless habits, such as spitting in public places and coughing without covering the mouth. These practices contribute to the rapid spread of the disease. He urged people to take preventive measures, including:
▪️Wearing masks in crowded places
▪️Maintaining respiratory hygiene by covering the mouth while coughing or sneezing
▪️Avoiding spitting in public places
▪️Seeking medical help immediately if symptoms appear
He stressed that fear and stigma surrounding TB should be eliminated. People diagnosed with TB should not hesitate to consult doctors and seek treatment, as modern medicine offers effective cures.
🔘Educational Programs and Student Participation
To further strengthen TB awareness, special educational sessions were held for nursing students. These sessions covered in-depth information about TB, including its history, diagnosis, drug resistance, and the role of healthcare workers in controlling its spread.
As part of the event, a pledge against tuberculosis was led by Dr. Krishnamoorthy, encouraging students and faculty to commit to raising awareness, promoting hygiene, and supporting TB patients.
A quiz competition on tuberculosis was also organized for MBBS students, testing their knowledge of TB symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. This interactive session helped reinforce critical information about the disease.
🔘Dignitaries and Participants
The event witnessed the presence of esteemed faculty members and medical professionals, including:
▪️Assistant Doctor Rahman
▪️Vice Principal of the Nursing School, Mrs. Beula
▪️Nursing Tutors: Mrs. Jyothi Subbulakshmi, Mr. Manikandan, Mrs. Samsath Begum, and Mrs. Prudensia
▪️Postgraduate and undergraduate medical students
▪️B.Sc. Paramedical students
The programs were hosted by Mr. V. Selvan, who played a pivotal role in organizing and conducting the awareness campaign.
🔘Conclusion: A Call to Action Against TB
The World Tuberculosis Day event at Tirunelveli Medical College served as an essential step in spreading awareness about TB prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment adherence. The key takeaway from the event was that ending TB is possible, but it requires commitment from individuals, healthcare professionals, and policymakers.
With continuous education, investment in healthcare infrastructure, and active public participation, India and the world can move closer to achieving the goal of TB elimination by 2030, as outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO).
As Dr. Krishnamoorthy reiterated, "Yes! We Can End TB"—but only through collective responsibility, investment in research, and delivering accessible healthcare to all.

The Supreme Sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev: A Tribute to India's Immortal Heroes

Dr. Nowhera Shaik MD & CEO, Heera Group of Companies
Today, our nation remembers the supreme sacrifice of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev. Their fearless pursuit of freedom and justice continues to inspire us all. My heartfelt tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, who laid down their lives for India's independence. Their sacrifice was not just for freedom but to awaken a spirit of courage and self-reliance in every Indian. Their ideals continue to inspire generations. #ShaheedDiwas
Remembering the Brave Souls
Shaheed Diwas is a day of deep reverence and solemn remembrance. It marks the martyrdom of three of India's most fearless revolutionaries—Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Hari Rajguru, and Sukhdev Thapar. These young heroes, at the tender age of 23, embraced death with unwavering resolve to free their motherland from British oppression. Their sacrifice was not just a mere act of defiance but a clarion call to awaken every Indian to the cause of freedom.
Bhagat Singh, a young visionary, was not just a fighter but also a thinker who understood the essence of revolution. His courage, intellect, and unbreakable spirit made him an eternal icon in India’s struggle for independence. Alongside Rajguru and Sukhdev, he fought against the colonial forces, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of millions.
The Story of Their Sacrifice
On March 23, 1931, these brave souls were executed by the British government in Lahore Central Jail. Their crime? A love for their country so profound that they dared to challenge one of the most powerful empires in the world. Their execution was intended to crush the spirit of revolution, but instead, it ignited an unstoppable wave of patriotism across India.
Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev were not ordinary men; they were visionaries who understood the price of freedom. Their sacrifice was not just about shedding blood; it was about lighting a flame in the hearts of future generations. They taught us that the struggle for justice, equality, and self-respect is an ongoing battle that requires immense courage and sacrifice.
The Ideals They Stood For
These young martyrs were driven by ideals far ahead of their time. Bhagat Singh, in particular, was a firm believer in secularism, socialism, and self-reliance. His writings and speeches reflect his deep understanding of governance, oppression, and the need for unity among Indians. His powerful words, "Revolution is an inalienable right of mankind," continue to resonate even today.
Rajguru, known for his exceptional marksmanship, and Sukhdev, a fiery patriot, stood shoulder to shoulder with Bhagat Singh, embodying the spirit of selfless service. Their commitment to the cause was unshakable, proving that true strength lies in conviction and unwavering dedication.
Lessons from Their Sacrifice
The legacy of these great revolutionaries teaches us several important lessons:
Courage Against Oppression: Fearless in the face of tyranny, they demonstrated that standing up against injustice is our foremost duty.
Unity in Purpose: Their sacrifice reminds us that when people unite for a common cause, no force can suppress their voice.
Self-Reliance and Patriotism: Bhagat Singh and his comrades believed in an India that was self-sufficient and strong, urging every citizen to contribute to nation-building.
The Power of Youth: At just 23 years of age, they proved that young minds have the power to lead revolutions and transform nations.
Commemorating Their Legacy
On this Shaheed Diwas, let us pledge to honor their sacrifice by upholding the values they cherished. Let us work towards a just, inclusive, and progressive India—one that these martyrs envisioned. The best tribute we can pay to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev is to remain committed to the ideals of freedom, equality, and justice.
As we remember the history of these martyrs, let us not merely grieve their loss but celebrate their lives. Let their unwavering courage inspire us to build a nation where no citizen has to fight for their rights, where justice prevails, and where freedom is not just a constitutional right but a lived reality.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev may have left this world, but their spirit remains immortal. Their stories continue to ignite the flame of patriotism in every Indian heart, urging us to stand for truth, justice, and national integrity.
A Call to Action
Let us not confine their memories to history books. Instead, let their ideologies guide our actions. We can pay our respects by:
Educating the younger generation about their sacrifice.
Standing against any form of injustice in our society.
Promoting the values of unity, equality, and nationalism.
Working towards a self-reliant and strong India.
On this Shaheed Diwas, let us reaffirm our commitment to the ideals these heroes fought for. Their supreme sacrifice should not be in vain—it should serve as a reminder of our duty to the nation and its people.
Final Tribute
My heartfelt tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev, who laid down their lives for India's independence. Their fearless pursuit of freedom and justice continues to inspire generations. May we always remember their courage and strive to build the India they dreamed of.
