I just think Tallulah gets to be upset about this. “It’s not Wilbur’s fault” “He’s not a bad dad” “He loves his daughter so much” yes! These are all true! And it’s not his fault! But he’s still not there. And Tallulah has gone through so much and still hasn’t seen him, the one time he was around was the one time she wasn’t, and all she has are letters and “I’m thinking of you always” and things that used to be theirs together, but he’s still not there. She’s waited and she’s been patient and she’s loved him all the same, and he’s still not there. Like yesterday, and the day before, and the day before, from the happy milestones to the traumatic events, he’s still not there.
She knows that it’s not his fault, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s absent. That in and of itself just adds to the sorrow, because she knows why he’s gone, and she’s been told time and time again it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care, she knows this - it doesn’t mean it doesn’t sting, that it doesn’t hurt, that she doesn’t yearn for her father to be there more than anything in the world, and he’s just not there.
So yes, she gets to be upset, and be caustic, and stomp her feet and write bitter messages, and be angry and vitriolic, because she’s a little girl missing her father, who feels things with her whole heart and soul - and that means she gets to feel the ugly parts of it, too.

Never in your life have you ever seen a pancake as bad as the ones i'm making right now. I should be banned from every kitchen

People who see entire demographics of humanity as “the enemy” are so baffling to me, whether they’re incels/misogynists or racists or radfems or whomever I just look at them and wonder why you’d choose a life of such misery. People of a certain gender, sexuality, race or whatever demographic are not inherently your enemy just because they are part of said demographic. Gender and race essentialism is incredibly dangerous and untrue and it especially confuses me when people who claim to be trans allies abide by the former because that mindset is especially dangerous to trans people.
People are individuals, not a hive mind. Society as a whole has massive issues, and some groups may benefit from them more than others (like how the patriarchy hurts men but they still benefit from it far more than women ever will because it has men in mind, albeit only a certain type of man), but individuals are individuals. And what a depressing life it must be to instead navigate the world believing that millions of people are beneath you before they’ve even spoken a word.

the thing about having roommates is i HAVE cast irons. but they’re in the basement and i don’t use them because i have roommates. i just bought a VERY cute set of four little dessert size plates with poppies on them from a secondhand store the other week but i’m afraid to actually put them in the kitchen because i have roommates. the last set of little plates i bought has gone almost completely missing, two knives from my set of good knives disappeared some years ago, a vintage bowl from my grandmother from the 40s completely disappeared. i feel like i can’t put anything i actually care about in shared living spaces because i don’t trust anyone! and i don’t want to ban people from using my stuff because that’s not fair!

i keep seeing bridget in all these promo stuff with ky sin ram and sol that i’ve subconsciously started seeing her as ky’s daughter
I imagine Ky's the kind of dude where after he has kids of his own, he starts adopting any other random young person/kid that hangs out with his own kids. Like the neighborhood dad that's got an insane income and doesn't really know what to do with it so he just feeds whoever shows up at the dinner table in the evening
