Something that I’ve realized through my 30s is that you cannot progress and develop yourself as a person if you do not make mistakes. When you mess up and truly learn from the experience, it causes you to grow from the error that was made and in most cases, you correct what you did so in the future you do better. I consider myself a perfectionist or used to anyways. Do get me wrong, I still try to do everything to the T, but I realize that it’s okay if I make mistakes. The lesson is in the mistake and if you’re smart, you’ll find what it is trying to teach you. #mistakes #error #actor #blunder #toerrishuman #toforgivedivine #fitness #malelifecoach #lifecoach #malepodcast #podcast #podcastersofinstagram #podcasts #podcastlife #empath #goeasyonyourself #masculinity #testosterone #menswork #maturity #letitgo #lessons #lessonslearnedinlife #fyp (at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZIlOZZteEV/?utm_medium=tumblr

On the penultimate episode in this 1st season of #MikesMomentOf I speak with my good friend Alayna Hughes about her journey so far as an audio engineer and music technologist.
Alayna was born and raised in Florida, but don´t hold that against her. She started recording music at age 15 and began playing guitar and drums as main instruments as well as making weird noises with drum machines. She attended Full Sail for Recording Arts and Berklee College of Music for Music Production and Engineering while being a drum set principle. After that, she worked in New York for companies such as Avatar Studios and Broadway Video before moving to Valencia to earn a Masters in Music Technology. Besides creating projects as Curiosibot, she creates electronic-rock music, creates videos, and experiments with game environments. Currently, she is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Information and Technology in the Multimodal Interaction Group within the Music Technology Group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona.
You might not know it but, Hazel Ramsay-McClune accompanied Olive Lewin around Jamaica meeting people and documenting the culture in the 60’s and 70’s. This is the first of a few conversations I plan to have with her. #MikesMomentOf Folk Invitation.
Joan Andrea Hutchinson @glademmache joins me on Ep 32 of #MikesMomentOf . We explore some Jamaican proverbs amidst stories of her inspiring journey so far. @aelsean

If you have to ridicule me, go ahead I am neither gold or diamond that need to be securely kept, adored by people I am human. I allow myself to experience beauty and terror. Even now, as broken as you may feel, you are still so strong. There’s something to be said for how you hold yourself together and keep moving, even though you feel like shattering. Don’t stop. This is your healing. It doesn’t have to be pretty, or graceful. You just have to keep going. #keepgoing #meditation #malepodcast #malelifecoach #male #masculinity #masculine #podcastersofinstagram #podcast #podcastlife #empathy #muscle #mindmuscle #musclememory #family #actor #vocalist #personaltrainer #nasmcertified #counselor #addictionrecovery #zen #quiet #calm #dream #future (at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZvL_Dps2P1/?utm_medium=tumblr
