Monte Silver's Lawsuit Opposing The Procedural Aspect of #GILTI Regs Lives On
In summary – Monte Silver’s lawsuit against GILTI lives on! On April 19, 2024 the U.S. Court Of Appeals released a decision which included: Plaintiffs had objected before the district court that the Anti-Injunction Act did not apply in light of South Carolina v. Regan, 465 U.S. 367 (1984), because they had no other way to litigate their claims. The defendants argued that the Act barred the suit…

Commissions now open!
Hi friends! I've found myself in a tight financial spot.
While fighting a very severe depression episode for a few months, I was unable to work as much as I needed to. That mixed with travel leaving my dorm and christmas break, I spent a lot of my money. I am behind on a few payments of things, including tuition, and will need gas money to get back to school. Im not super worried as I have most of january to work and save, and im working a lot! but A little bit extra would be helpful just to get caught up.
Who I write for: Most Oscar Issac characters (if you aren't sure, just ask. I'm open to trying something new!), The Four Miller Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Joel, Tommy, Will, Benny), Javier Pena, Han Solo, Kylo Ren. Open to other ideas just ask! As a note, my best writing, I feel, has been done on Santiago Garcia, Will Miller, Marc Spector, and Tommy and Joel Miller. They are my special guys.
I'll write about any pairing except the obvious no's like incest and underage. X reader, gn!reader, trans!reader, NB!reader, oc's, threesomes, LGBT parings and so on. I've never written male reader, but I'm willing to give it go. Any mix of race, religion, gender, sexual or romantic orientation etc, I will write and do my best to research the experience and listen to your voice on it.
Content I will write: All the usual, from fluff to non con. dark does not phase me. Again, there's a few no's, and I really can't think of all fetishes off the top of my head so, just ask! No shame from me, I'm into feet and piss lol. Threesomes or group sex are a yes, so is mixing characters from different media (for example, im writing a santiago garcia x reader x javier pena fic)
Pricing: $7 USD per 1000 words.
Will take payment via paypall, cashapp, venmo, but for your safety b ware you can often see full names or numbers. I don't really care but just so you know! Also willing to do other stuff like zelle, as long as i trust they are reputable.
Any questions just go ahead and DM me or comment! I'm pretty wide open.
Thank you!

The general rules:
Fandoms will have their own rules in their own separate posts
He/Him and They/Them pronouns only
I have problems with menstruation so none of that allowed as I HATE thinking of my own
Polyamorous relationships are accepted and loved here but NO cheating 😤
No non-platonic/familial child/teen x adult
No incest of any kind
No angst without a happy ending
VERY EXTREMELY RARE sexual nsft 👀
Piggybacking off the last rule I prefer a Top/Not Penetrated reader
No matchups 😐
No OCs as main character/reader
Piggybacking again I will allow OCs as side characters
You may see mentions of my OCs as I love them
Some characters will be OOC and I have no shame about that 🤷🏾
All fanfics will have swears except for Miraculous
I'm bad at coming up with bad guys/villains so fandoms with baddies will take place during down time/right after a fight
I am slow and easily distracted so things will come out when I remember
My target audience is me first so if I don't like how a thing is turning out it won't be published
Again....this a masculine pronoun only blog. And before I get shit on by children and the feminine pronoun users........Fuck. Off. I'm here for the gays and theys. I've been on the internet for years and there's PLENTY of shit for y'all.

Ruth Helen (Barnes) Reed, age 86, relocated from her earthly home and met her Lord and Savior on May 12, 2020.
Ruth was born in Sheboygan on December 7, 1933 to Joseph James Barnes and Isabelle Augusta (Gosse) Barnes. Ruth attended elementary school at Spring Farm (a one-room schoolhouse in the Town of Mitchell) and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1951. She waitressed at The Grill in Plymouth; played clarinet in the high school band as well as the Plymouth band.
She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and American University in Washington D.C. where she was employed at the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Bureau of Standards, in the technical reports section of the publications division as a clerk, typist, and director of tour guides.
Ruth met Donn Reed on a blind date and they married on Sept, 20, 1953 in Fort Knox where he was stationed.
She was a founding member of Jacobson Advertising (now Jacobson/Rost) where she wore many hats over her 34 years as a receptionist, typist, bookkeeper, proofreader, historian and media specialist.
She fellowshipped at the Evangelical Free Church where she was a secretary, church historian, Sunday School aide and sang in the choir, ladies’ trio and ladies’ quartet. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society, and prepared projects for Vacation Bible School. Ruth performed in the pit orchestra for Community Players musicals, sang in the chorus with the Sheboygan Arts Foundation, and was a vocalist with the Reggie Barber Dance Orchestra. She volunteered with the Sheboygan Youth Band, the Elms Band, the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and was banquet chairman for the Soap Box Derby. Known as Grandma Ruth, she was intensively involved with the Early Learning Center, spending many years cutting and sorting various projects for every student that attended. She was a member of the SET committee for over 8 years and was named Intergenerational Volunteer of the Year in April 2000. She also volunteered at Wilson, ESAA and Grant elementary schools.
Her hobbies included quilting, sewing, reading, collecting recipes, crafts, music, opera and family history. She enjoyed listening to the Gaither Vocal Band and supporting David Jeremiah’s ministry.
Ruth’s showed kindness and love to everyone she came in contact with. Her family was her most valuable possession and spent many hours involved in their various activities and traveled wherever she needed to go.
Ruth is survived by Kimm (Jim) McKalips and their children Andrew (Sarah), Jon (Tereana), Joe (Erin) McKalips, Stephanie (David) Woody, and Deborah (Michael) Winding and many great- grandchildren; Lisa Reed and her children Dylan Victory, Tyler (Michelle) Victory and Erin Zelle; and Marc (Cindy) Reed and their children Marcy and Jackson.
She is further survived by her siblings Kathy (Ken) Zimmerman, Barry (Barb) Barnes and Jeff (Bonnie) Barnes, and many nieces and nephews. Also, her “besties” Janice Crane, Judy Zimmerman, Colleen Pyne, Jo Leu, Janet Lammers and Ann Bernard.
She was preceded in death by her son Timm, husband Donn, her parents, brother James; and friends Doug Crane and Tito Ramos.
A special thanks to Dr. Mancheski for his care and friendship over the years and the Sharon Richardson Hospice for bringing Ruth home to spend her final days surrounded by those who loved her. A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held on July 4, 2020, at her home from 10-4. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, gloves and sanitizer will be available.
Ruth had a magical gift for just the right words. Please share yours; your memories and stories with the family. Written remembrances will be a cherished addition to her memory box.

Israel’s Silence on Charlottesville
Israel’s Silence on Charlottesville
Author’s Note: This article was published just hours before Benjamin Netanyahu made his reprehensibly late and weak statement on Charlottesville. To this piece, which I hope you will read infull at LobeLog, I will add that Netanyahu’s pro forma statement was, in its way not just an imitation of Trump, but actually far worse. What we have seen here is an Israeli Prime Minister, one who has, over…

French expert Denis Astagno explains this fact by the cost of the car, which is 2,734,000 euros, and also by the fact that one of the first customers of the Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Vision Concept was Prince Albert II. Of 200 declared Daimler AG cars 136 have already been bought. Analyzing the list of buyers, Denis Astagno indicates that, as expected, the sales volume in the Middle East was insignificant. Outside of Monaco, many cars were sold to the United States of America and to the Hong Kong special economic region of China. No cars have been purchased by Russian customers. Polish journalist Grzegorz Schmacak, who first presented the list of Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Vision Concept customers, explains the Russian elite's refusal to purchase the vehicle is because of Putin's domestic policy. Russian billionaires purchase cars incognito. However, one machine in Eastern Europe was officially purchased. It was bought by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan, who has registered a car in the name of his wife. Regarding Latin America, Grzegorz Schmacak points out that three cars have been sold to this region. One of the cars was purchased by Venezuelan citizen financier Juan Carlos Escote. It is expected another two or three Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Vision Concept vehicles will be purchased in this part of the World, taking into account the number of cars that will be delivered to New York. In many countries of Latin America, representatives of the elite could order delivery of the car both to Monaco and to New York. Middle East specialist Ayub Amer indicates that in the near future about forty Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Vision Concept will be purchased by Arab countries, immediately after the car appears on the streets of Monaco and Hong Kong. Analyzing the list of buyers of the Mercedes-Maybach 6 Cabriolet Vision Concept, Denis Astagno states: "Considering the income of customers, we can say that the new electric car from Daimler AG is becoming a favorite toy of billionaires." A Look At The Incredible GP Ice Race – Would You Ski Behind A Race Car?
This remarkable series of images were taken by photographers Marc Holstein and Christine Gabler who attended the 2020 running of the GP Ice Race.
What Is The GP Ice Race?
The GP Ice Race takes place in Zell am See, a small Alpine town south of Salzburg in Austria. The ice races date back to 1937 and they ran until 1974, the races were restarted in 2019 for the first time since the mid-1970s and it ran again in early February 2020.
The images you see here are from the 2020 event and they showcase the two most popular aspects of the race – modern and vintage racing cars battling it out on the ice, and the sport of “skijoring” – when skiers are towed by cars around the circuit at speed. Over the past two years the event has grown significantly both in attendance and online popularity, the 2020 GP Ice Race saw a full entry book of 130 racers and 2021 is already sounding like it’s going to break the 2020 attendance figures.
Once of the key highlights of the GP Ice Race is being able to see genuinely iconic race and rally cars being driven in anger on the ice, cars like the Audi Sport Quattro S1 piloted by legendary World Rally Champion Walter Röhrl. The race includes classes for a number of different vehicle types including two wheel drive and four wheel drive cars, buggies, and vintage cars including race prepared Porsche 356s, 911s, a Red Bull NASCAR, a Volvo P1800, VW Beetles, Saabs, Fiat 500s, Trabants, Mini Coopers, and even a Corvette.
The Sport Of Skijöring
The word Skijöring comes from the Norwegian word “skikjøring”, which means “ski driving”. It’s been a popular means of winter travel in Scandinavia for hundreds of years. The indigenous Sami people of northern Scandinavia would harness reindeer and ski along behind, often at significant speed.
By the late-19th and early-20th century Skijöring behind dogs and riderless horses were a popular winter sports across Europe, it was even included as an exhibition sport at the 1928 Winter Olympic Games held in St. Moritz, Switzerland.
Of course once automobiles were commonplace it was only a matter of time before some enterprising winter sport enthusiasts tied a rope the the back of a car (or motorcycle) and tried their hand at motorised Skijöring. It would be motorised Skijöring that would find a home in the GP Ice Race from 1937 onwards.

The following is Marc Holstein’s personal account of attending the GP Ice Race in 2020 for the first time:
“Travelling down to Zell Am See we were not sure what to expect. Our first impression was jaw-dropping – we were simply amazed by the amount of exotic vintage vehicles that came together to race on the ice.
There were countless Porsche 356, Audi Quattros and even small cars like an East German Trabant, Fiat Cinquecento, or a Classic Mini Cooper. The thing I was personally looking forward to was the skijöring. This is basically a skier, holding being towed behind the car with a rope – one of the skiers told us that they hit 110km/h on straight.
The vibes were great and it was great to experience such an open minded community. Our personal highlight in terms of cars would be the vintage Rothmans Rally Porsche, the vintage 911 with an amazing Warhol like pop-art paint-job, and of course all of the 356s racing on the ice.”
