Type of kisses prompt

First kiss: Queen Bee and Bunnyx + Ladybug and Kitty Noire after patrol.

Chloé was sitting on her bed painting Zoé's nails when her sister revealed something that caught her off guard.

"So... I kissed Ladybug after patrol."

"YOU WHAT?! Tell me EVERYTHING!!"

~~~~Yesterday Night~~~~

Ladybug and Kitty Noire had just finished dealing with some minor thieves after a patrol.

"Great job, Kitty! Same time tomorrow?"

"Absolutely!"

When Ladybug gets ready to swing away, Kitty Noire grabs her hand, gives her a quick kiss on the lips and leaves immediately after pulling away.

Not even waiting for LB to respond.

Chloé couldn't hold back her laughter, but still managed to respond to her sister's story.

"So... you kissed her and RAN?!"

Zoé couldn't help the blush creeping up on her face!

"Oh yeah? How did YOUR first kiss with Bunnyx go?"

Chloé immediately stops laughing and begins to blush.

"Oh now I GOTTA hear this!"

Bunnyx and Queen Bee were on their first mission together and QB seemed cool and calm, but she was actually coming up with a whole plan in her head.

'Okay Chloé, you can do this! Defeat anyone causing trouble tonight, impress Bunny-Kins, and kiss her before making an awesome exit. Easy!'

Queen Bee is snapped out of her thoughts when she hears Bunnyx's voice.

"QB! You okay?"

"Yep! Absolutely fine!"

"Better focus, there's a robbery in progress."

'This is my chance!'

Before Bunnyx could explain her plan, Queen Bee jumps down and immediately confronts the thieves.

"Stop right there-"

Queen Bee's immediately interrupted by the robbers' bullets being shot at her, which she quickly dodges and blocks with her spinning top.

While the robbers were focused on Queen Bee, Bunnyx opens burrows below them one at a time until they all ended up at the police station.

When Queen Bee stops spinning her weapon, Bunnyx hops out of a burrow in front of her.

"Great job distracting them, Queenie!~"

Bunnyx then gives Queen Bee a quick kiss on the lips before opening her Burrow and walking through it.

Zoé just stared at her sister in shock.

"Why are you embarrassed by how the kiss happened?! You STILL managed to impress her."

Zoe's confession to Marinette has to be one of the most beautiful thing in this show.

I love all the other queer ships in the show. I really do but this feels special.

First because I knew from the very first scene where Zoe met Marinette that she had a crush on her. And the conformation of that jest feels great.

But also because Miraculous has always been unapologetic about romance. A show as romance heavy as miraculous showing Zoe's feeling as something positive is very important to me. Even before we have the confirmation that she's crushing on Marinette, we find out that Zoe getting together with her crush is unlikely. But she's still in love with someone and that's a beautiful feeling whether her love is reciprocated or not. Her feelings for Marinette aren't portrayed as 'okay', they are portrayed as beautiful and something to be happy about. That matters a lot.

Zoenette One-Shot

It was the day of the high school prom of Collège Françoise Dupont. Everyone was present at the ball except one person, Zoé Lee. Zoé was preparing her suitcases to return to New York, on orders from her mother, Andrew, who had forced her daughter to return. Zoé wasn't at all satisfied with that, in fact, going back to the country where she suffered the most practically her whole life but, that wasn't the worst thing for her. The worst thing for her would be to stay away from Marinette, her best friend, the person she loved. That yes, is painful and when she thinks about it, it hurts.

Marinette misses Zoé's presence:

Marinette: Where is Zoé? Shouldn't she have arrived by now?

Alya: Don't you know about it, gurl? She's taking the plane to New York in a few minutes. Apparently, her mother forced her...

Marinette was speechless and shocked by the situation that just heard. Marinette had suspected for a few weeks that Zoé was hiding something from her and now, it all makes sense. Marinette didn't hesitate and went towards her scooter. She took her helmet, put it on and started to turn on her scooter.

Adrien: Where are you going?

Marinette: Stop my friend from leaving Paris...I'm sorry, Adrien, guys.

Marinette leaves for the airport. Meanwhile, Zoé was about to arrive at the airport. She couldn't stop thinking about her friends she made during those months in Paris, it really was something magical, with all of them, she could be herself and also, she couldn't stop thinking about Marinette, that even knowing that she loved Adrien, she couldn't just forget her, after all it's hard to forget the person you love.

Marinette accelerated at full speed, to be able to arrive in time for Zoé to leave. Zoé decides to call Marinette. As soon as Marinette hears the phone ring and sees it's Zoé, she answers it without hesitation.

Marinette: Zoé, explain to me what's going on? What was that about you going back to New York and why didn't you tell me or say goodbye, at least?

Zoé: I'm sorry Marinette... I really wanted to tell you but, I couldn't, I didn't have the courage and I didn't say goodbye to you because, it would hurt me more than anything else...I'm so so sorry...

Zoé hangs up the call and Marinette keep going towards the airport. Already at the airport, Zoé was heading towards the private jet that Andrew had specially prepared for his trip. She was about to get on the jet when she hears a voice in the distance calling for her. At first, Zoé was confused but, when the voice got closer, she could see that it was Marinette on her scooter.

Marinette: ZOEEEEÉ, WAIT!!

Zoé: M-Marinette? What are you doing here? You should be at prom...with Adrien...

Marinette: And let my friend go? No way. Zoé please...stay with us in Paris, I know you don't want to go back to New York, I can see it on your face.

Zoé: I have no choice, Mari...I'm sorry. I really loved spending these amazing months with everyone. For the first time, I really felt at home, I got to be myself and every moment we spent together was magical, you are truly amazing Marinette. I know you love Adrien but, I want you to know that I love you, I really do!

Marinette didn't know what else to say at this point so, if she wasn't good with words at least, with actions she was good. Before Zoe climbs the sixth step of the jet, Marinette pulls her arm and kisses her in her lips. Even though she was surprised by her friend's actions, Zoé returned Marinette's kiss.

Zoé: M-Marinette...W-Why did you do that? And also, you love Adrien, n-not me...so why?

Marinette: In fact, I feel that since you told me how you felt about me, my feelings have changed. You always cared about me, you helped me when I needed it, you are really a very special person to me, I- I love you, Zoé so please, don't go to New York...I would be heartbroken if you were.

Zoé felt like her face was red pepper and felt butterflies forming in her stomach with all those words from the person she loves. Zoé was still hesitant to go towards Mari but, after hesitant for some time, she gained courage and went to her, without rushing, going down each step. After that, they faced each other, until Zoé decides to say something:

Zoé: Do you really love me?

Marinette: Y-Yes, i really do!

Zoé: I- I'm so happy...

After those words, Marinette is the first to act for a second kiss but, this one takes longer. When they finally pulled away from the kiss, Marinette tries to tease Zoe:

Marinette: I'm sure you've been meaning to do this since the first time you met me heheh and you don't think I noticed you looking at me in the college cafeteria while I was at the other table with Adrien?

Zoé: I was enjoying the view from the cafeteria. >///<

Ok…how about Zoenette? Betrayal. “You tricked me…”

“It’s the only way that I could of gotten the earrings, Marinette. I’m…”

She catched herself before saying sorry. She doesn’t even know that “sorry” would work. After all, she basically lead Marinette on for months. Zoe was working undercover for Gabriel, or should she say Monarch now. It was his plan all along. His backup plan that he never mentioned to anybody until now. Zoe’s true purpose was to help this man at his true time of need one day. Gabriel finally acted on this since Zoe finally found out the truth…

Zoe attempted to walk away, with bee miraculous equipped and the earrings in pocket, but she suddenly felt a hand pulling her back by her wrist. Zoe looked back to find Marinette holding her back.

“Let go, Marinette.” Zoe said with a stern face.

“Don’t make this even harder than it has to be-”

“And then what, HUH??? Your going to go back to him and be released from existence!? Because that’s EXACTLY what’s going to happen if you walk away right now!”

Zoe froze and looked at Marinette with a look of stock at her statement. She then thought:

“Is..is she right?”

Is he going to do that? Monarch found out Ladybug’s identity a while ago. Instead of going straight to Marinette for her earrings or using Adrien, he and Natalie decided the best strategy was to use Zoe Lee, since it was more discreet and Zoe knew the truth.

The plan was simple enough: Zoe gets closer to Marinette, steal her earrings, and after everything’s done, she has served her purpose. So…that’s it? She’s just done and will be released from existence, just like Marinette said?

NO. She’s lying. She has to be. Lying to stall.

Zoe pulled away Marinette’s hand in anger.

“And what do you know!? You couldn’t even find out that Adrien was a sentimonster!”

Zoe turned her back on Marinette. She continued.

“You…don’t know the situation. He’s merciless, but…he cares. At least enough to not break his deal…with her.”

“With who?” Marinette asked.

Zoe quickly turned back to Marinette in a look of anger. Then she answered Marinette’s question with two simple words.

“My mother.”

“What???” Marinette said as her eyes widen and her pupils shrunk.

“…My mother…and him…they have a soft spot for each other. I can tell. At least from what I heard from her. My mom wanted to start over in New York, so she left Andre and Chloe behind to start another life. Only thing is…she wanted a child more than anything to be like her or to do what she says, or both. She wanted a child to make her proud, since Chloe seemed like such a chore to her.”

“The only thing is…my mom couldn’t have children anymore. She was…infertile. It was so bad…it took a toll on her apparently to the point that she left her husband behind. To leave Chloe behind…”

A tear released from Zoe’s right eye. Before it left her face, Zoe quickly wiped it away. Zoe continued her story.

“So she went to the only person that she knew that could fix that…She went to him. She asked him for his help and he agreed…on the condition that he gets something in return, and she agreed. So that was that. With his mysterious “miraculous” power, from a jewel brooch, he was able to grant her wish. He created a being out of the magic of the peacock miraculous…a…baby.”

“It was a sentimonster, as he called it. From that day forth, that baby was raised in a life of wealth and fame..but with no friends. No friends, but with a promise to get the ladybug and the cat miraculouses when that day came. The baby was sort of like a backup plan. She didn’t know this though, not until she went snooping into something that her nose didn’t belong one day…”

“Zoe, I…” Marinette didn’t know what to say.

Could this be the reason why she moved to Paris? Because the plan was finally setting into motion? How long did Zoe even KNEW about the miraculouses??? How much did she knew about the miraculouses!?

“It was then that the baby knew she was a sentimonster…and that baby is…”

“I DON’T CARE!”

Zoe looked back at Marinette, turning around to face her.

“I don’t care where you came from, who are your parents, your reasons for living, or that your a sentimonster!” Marinette shouted. Tears start to form in her eyes as she looked at the blonde. Zoe stared at her in disbelief.

“I…I LOVED YOU ZOE! I…still do!”

Zoe’s pupils shrunk.

“But you need to understand that Monarch doesn’t! He’ll use you to get what he wants and then throw you away like your garbage. Your nothing to him! And not your mother nor anyone else is going to change that-”

“Shu-Shut UP!” Zoe bald up her fists.

Is…Marinette right? Is she really just a pawn to Monarch? Does she exist to just be a pawn and to be all what “Chloe isn’t”? Did she tell Marinette to shut up because she’s wrong, or she herself wants to believe that she is, even though she’s right? She doesn’t want to believe it, but she’s starting to believe that she has no choice. She’s the sentimonster, not Chloe…

Zoe grew angry, frustrated. She finally spoke out after long thought.

“You don’t get it, do you!? I’m angry! I’m angry at my “mother”! She never told me this! No one who did knew never did! I don’t even know who I am anymore! I’m angry at eveyone!”

“I don’t even think I’ve ever been this angry. The ONE TIME that I’ve ever been this angry was how horribly my mom treats Chloe…how she tries to make ME the child that Chloe never was to her! I’m….I’M TIRED OF BEING NICE!” Zoe continued as she took a step closer.

“But none of that matters does it!? It never did because…I’m not even human! So what good am I if I can’t do the very thing that I was created to do!? It doesn’t matter if your right or not, Marinette!”

Marinette’s heart shank as she heard the pain in Zoe’s voice. Her heart felt heavy and her eyes filled up with more tears.

“Zoe…I get it. I get your pain and I get what your saying, but what do YOU want, Zoe!? So that’s it? Your going to let other people control your life and how you feel? So you haven’t felt anything for anyone or anything ever since you’ve existed?”

“What about Chloe?”

“What about Andre?”

“Everyone at school?”

“….Me?”

Zoe stayed silent.

“I get that your angry, but that’s more of a reason why that you need to decide what you want Zoe! Your not alone, just like how Adrien wasn’t…! You have friends and people who care about you! You don’t want to hurt them do you???”

Zoe grunted as she squeezed her eyes closed. “I…no! I don’t…I don’t know….”.

Zoe started to release all of her tears, letting them run down her rose tainted cheeks. She doesn’t THINK that she wants to hurt them. Similar to Adrien, It was never in her nature to hold such malice intent in her heart against people for long. She…liked her life ever since she moved to Paris.

Despite her mother making her a model in New York, she barley made an effort to truly know her daughter despite her whole intentions of having another baby. She just wanted to know the person that SHE wanted her to be, or the person that she COULD be. It’s like she was only there to be her reflection and nothing more. School was no better.

People were so mean to her at her old school. They put freaking cockroaches in her locker. It gotten so bad to the point where she thought that she had to lie to be accepted. That she had to be something that she’s not to be liked. When she moved to Paris, she thought the very same thing because of expectations that her sister expected from her.

But then…she met the others.

She met Marinette.

They showed her that she could make friends, that she could be happy, if she just be herself. Yes, there are mean and selfish people in the world, but not everybody.

She was…happy.

However…could she ever be happy ever again since everything that happened?

She betrayed her friends.

She betrayed her.

How does she know that they will accept her back? And Marinette…what about her? The girl that she liked…the girl that she…

Loved?

How could ANYONE forgive her after this!? They complain about Chloe siding with Hawkmoth, but she herself toyed with people’s feelings to get the miraculouses. She manipulated them. She stabbed them in the back. If they gave up on Chloe, what makes her think that they will give her a chance?

She’s worse than they claimed Chloe to be. Chloe had it harder than she did thought, as so she thought…she still has a chance to change because she’s just 14. There’s a silver lighting at the end of her tunnel.

But herself? She’s literally a monster. A sentimonster. They will never forgive her.

They will never forgive a monster like her.

She doesn’t have anything left at this point…but her mother and Monarch. They are all that she has left now. She’s a semtimonster, and sentimonsters are meant to obey…Some of her anger slowly channels towards herself.

“Zoe, come on! Let’s fix this together! All this mayhem, this destruction, the end of the world!? You don’t want that do you???”

Zoe slowly looked up and locked eyes with Marinette. Her eyes looked slightly soulless.

“Like I’ve said, Marinette. It doesn’t matter what I want anymore. In fact, like I’ve said, it never really did matter. I’m a sentimonster and that’s all that I’ll ever be…”

Zoe’s voiced slightly cracked.

“Monarch will get his Earrings and that’s the way that it’s going to be. There’s no use trying. He’s going to win either way….” Zoe continued.

“Maybe in a better world, maybe in another time…there will be a us?”

Zoe forced a painful smile, trying to look on the bright side of the situation, trying to hold back more tears.

“Zoe! Don’t! Please! We can still fix this! It’s not too late to do the right thing! You can still be with us! With me! It will be ok!” Marinette extended out her hand, hoping that Zoe will grab it as a sign of hope.

Zoe started to walk towards Marinette. She stopped in front of her and leaned in, going onto her knees. She started to lean in towards Marinette. Zoe kept a stern and dangerous look…

Marinette hold her hand back, slightly flinching and closing her eyes, fearing of what Zoe’s next move was going to be. She knew that she wasn’t going to grab her hand. What could she possibly do now that she hasn’t done!?

Then suddenly, Zoe put her right hand on the side of Marinette face, then Marinete felt something pressed up against her lips…

Zoe kissed her.

She then used her other hand to hold Marinette’s face in for a more heartfelt kiss. More like a goodbye kiss?

Marinette opened her eyes quickly as she tries to grasp the situation at hand. When she realized what Zoe was doing, she…relaxed a bit? She closed her eyes slightly, wanting to just melt away in the moment between the girl that she liked. She thought that she liked Adrien, maybe she still does? But Marinette knew that she liked Zoe Lee. Maybe even love?

Yeah….love.

But…deep down…Marinette knows that she shouldn’t be enjoying this as much as she should. This might be the end, and the end of Zoe Lee.

Zoe leaned back as soon as she was done kissing Marinette. With her hands still on her cheeks.

“Zoe…I…don’t understan-”

“I love you too, Marinette.” Zoe said, interrupting Marinette.

“In fact…I always did. Ever since I met you, I liked you.”

Marinette was almost lost for words.

“Zoe…I-”

“But some things aren’t meant to be.” Zoe countined.

“You don’t have to lie to me anymore, because you like Adrien, remember?” Zoe forced a smile again to hide her true pain. She suddenly pulled her in for one final hug.

“It will be ok, Marinette. Maybe one day, in some crazy way in another world, we’ll meet again. Hawkmoth will create another world, and maybe all this pain will go away, right? You don’t have to be Ladybug anymore, maybe I’ll be human, and maybe we can be happy with all of our friends, even Chloe!”

Zoe paused, and then continued.

“And maybe there CAN be a…us? But for now, this is our reality...”

Zoe broke their hug, rising up from the ground in which Marinette laid, holding onto Marinette’s hands until she finally let go.

“Goodbye, Marinette. Thanks for being my friend. I hope we meet again someday, ok?” One last tear finally ran down Zoe’s face until she finally turned around, walking towards Monarch, her creator’s destination to meet up with him.

“Zoe! Don’t go! It doesn’t have to be way! We can stop this-”

Marinette tripped on the broken street around her. She was too weak to get back up. Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at Zoe’s figure, as it slowly started to fade away.

“Zoe, please…”

Zoe looked back, smiling slightly until she continued to walk away from the girl that she loved…

“ZOOOEEEE!!!!” Marinette shouted.

She continued to look at Zoe from afar until she couldn’t see her anymore…

Marinette banged on the pavement under her with both of bald up fists. She dropped her head, as she started to hysterically cry, in the broken city around her…

Or so she thought. She quickly turns to see Marinette reading a good.

"I was waiting for either you or Chloé to get up so one of you can help me with breakfast."

Zoé then kisses Marinette on the cheek before saying "I'd love to help!" before the two of them left the room.

When Marinette and Zoé leave the room, Chloé peaks her head from under her luxurious blanket.

"Now that they're gone, Ally-Kins can get her makeover" she says before getting up and walking towards a seemingly sleeping Alix with a make up brush.

Without opening her eyes, Alix grabs Chloé's wrist before the brush could touch her face.

She then sits up, opens her eyes, and says "Nice try" before giving Chloé a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll get you next time!"

"I doubt it. Now let's go pull Marinette and Zoé with breakfast."

I'm gonna say it: Miraculous Ladybug is one of the most toxic fandoms related to the ships and that's a fact. Don't try to tell me I'm wrong.

I saw a lot of pins in Pinterest of Adrigami, Lukadrien, Kagaminette and more ships with comments like "Wtf is this?", "Disgusting", "The only good ship in MLB is Adrinette", "Marinette only deserves to end with Adrien".

Are. You. Serious?

People can ship whatever they want, and if someone ships Lilanette, Chloénette, Alyanette, Ninonette or another ship it's up to them. You don't have to say they're mentally ill for not shipping Adrinette. Just because a ship is canon doesn't mean everyone has to like it. And if you don't like Lilanette, Chloénette, Alyanette or any ship involving Marinette and a classmate of her, just ignore it. Don't watch posts of that ship or read fics just to say you hate it. Because if you do that, don't complain when people decide to do the same with Adrinette.
